Duuuhhh, how had he forgotten? Brownriding girl was the assistant weyrlingmaster, although she usually worked with the other master. Whatever his name was. Mmmmmsomething. She was Merridan, though, which T'ri knew because she was a) female and b) an authority figure who, if Sel'n failed him like he'd been threatening to, would probably be his teacher for the next year or so. As the green hopped down off T'ri's shoulder and on to the rim of the bowl of meat with an inquisitive chirp - was it better than the other meat? Because she wouldn't have anything that was less than perfect - T'ri grinned, removing his hat to rake his hair back into place before putting it back on, making sure the angle was as jaunty as possible.
"We'll have to see, I suppose," he drawled, accepting the bowl and selecting a piece of raw meat to feed to the green - Cristal was sticking in his head for some reason, maybe he'd call her that - which she immediately rejected. "Then again, if it's pretty things that get me to show up at class, I should have no problem showing up to your lessons," he added, somehow managing to seem to wink without actually closing his eye. Sure, she was kinda stocky and looked halfway like a boy, but not as much as the Jr. Weyrwoman did, and as far as T'ri was concerned a little flirting never hurt anyone. Certainly not if it got him out of lessons.
