/Time to move E'rromine. Salenth has just called for us to wing drills./ Silently pulling his head up from the pillow in which it was cradled, one of the newest and youngest dragonriders paused before swinging his feet onto the floor. So we are serving under S'rei then... how... interesting. As if serving under the man who had kept him here wasn't bad enough, the oh-so-bright Weyrleaders put him under a famed rebel that broke away from Benden. Drawing a breath before pulling a clean shirt over his head, E'rro then proceeded onto pulling one of his long, darker jerkins onto his frame. It only took a few steps to get to his dresser on the other side of his cot, and upon getting there, the ex-Benden Rider rummaged among his clean and folded trousers before shedding his old pair. Slipping on his stockings and then boots, E'rro found himself in front his small mirror before very long. Touching up the black rings around his eyes with the charcoal he kept close to the bathroom, the Brownrider yawned as he replaced the charcoal with a brush and finished his morning grooming. /You're fast this morning./ I am always fast. Benden liked their fast wake ups... /True./
Rubbing his nose with the side of his finger, E'rro preformed a quick strap up and check as soon as he got to Ismaroth, making sure each clasp was at least in the correct area. A short while later, the Brownrider swung his way up onto the back of his steed and swiftly secured himself into the leg straps. "Lets go." Nodding slightly as Ismaroth growled in approval, E'rro braced his body for the leap into the air off of their ledge. As soon as they got airborne and steady, the young man could feel the raw power of the muscles beneath him; the strong sinews that attached the wings pulsed and beat to their own rhythm. Between. It will be faster. Sending the coordinates of where he wanted them to appear through their mind-link, E'rro felt the cold of the Between envelope their large bulk. Numbness spread like fire through his limbs, and as soon as it spread it faded, they had spent almost less than two seconds in the between since it was a very short jump. Leveling out and regaining their barrings, the Brownpair had to circle before they were able to land. And when they did, the pair landed a very respectful distance away from the Wingleaders, even though their respect for the two could be shaken like an uneven pile of blocks. Dismounting from his leathers E'rro opted to slide down on his own, absorbing the slowed decent in his legs as he struck the ground. Tossing a stray strand of hair from his face, the young Brownrider made his way closer to his Wingleader in silence, he wouldn't speak out unless spoken to. It was just so much simpler to follow Benden rules than try and conform completely to Selenitas's good cheer. Stopping far enough away that it was still considered respectful, E'rro tried to stick on that very edge of the boundary.

"Styth why didn't you tell me about this?" Kneeling down so that he was eye level with the offending splinter, F'rah sighed loudly, it wasn't the first time Styth failed to mention a minor injury. /I was going to go to the DragonHealers after practice./ Geesh. You shouldn't wait. Standing so that he could retrieve the medical satchel in his saddlebag, the Weyrlingmaster felt the wind of the wings of an arriving dragon. Pausing to observe the Green land, F'rah gave a small wave before climbing his way up the side of his leathers to reach his bags. Sliding down a few moments later, the Wingleader watched two more of his weyrlings arrive before unclasping the top of the leather medical satchel. "I'll be with you all in a moment. I need to tend to a small injury..." Glancing unhappily up at his Brown, F'rah quickly moved toward the large splinter in the dragon's leg. "You know that because you failed to mention this to me before we are going to start even later now." /I'm sorry Rahmine./ "Its fine... I suppose."
---
/Ah good, you have arrived. It is good to see you all again... practice will assume shortly./ Announcing this to all of the collected Weyrlingdragons, he proceeded to greet each of them individually.
/Aorath./ /Calistoth./ /Minoath./ /Brennath./ /Thoth./
---
"Weyrlingmaster, may I speak with you for a moment?"
Looking up from the thin incision that he had just made, F'rah smiled before turning back to the mission at hand. "Hold on for one moment Hun." Gently working his sterile knife into the hard skin above the splinter, F'rah eventually was able to work the intruder out of Styth's leg. Extracting a gauze from inside the bag, F'rah wrapped and secured the cut before shouldering the bag and standing to face the young woman. "Its fine with me Cezine. What do you need?" Retrieving a small cloth from inside the kit, the Weyrlingmaster proceeded to wipe the ichor off of his hands.

Stretching his arms above his head with a sort of stiff relaxation, the Wingleader rocked back slightly before using his weight to bring himself up onto his feet. Straightening up from his crouch, F'rah slowly popped his joints, listening to the soft cracks that resulted. /Have a nice nap Rahmine?/ Why yes I actually did. /Well thats good... because you were supposed to call the Wing in for training about a quarter of a candle mark ago./ "WHAT? You didn't wake me up?!" /No. Because this is the second time you've done this and you deserve to be chastised for your lack of focus./ Damn it all. Quickly sound the call for the Weyrlings to assemble. /Sure thing./
/Weyrlings of the Tornado Wing, please assemble in the large meadow between the river and the jungle. It's time for training./
"Thanks a lot Styth. You're such a big help..." Jerking his head up slightly as a thought struck him, the Weyrlingmaster quickly patted down his pockets for a small leather satchel. After almost frantically missing it in one of his deeper pockets, F'rah sighed in relief as he pulled it out and into the light. /Almost thought you lost it didn't you?/ Oh be quiet. I made a mistake and I really don't need you of all beings to be making fun of me right now. /Sorry Rahmine. But you make it just so... easy sometimes./ Haha. Making an annoyed face at the Brownie colored Brown, the man abruptly turned so that he faced away from the dragon, proceeding only then to let out a sigh. He had been surprised when the Weyrwoman had upgraded him to a wingleader, but that emotion had foundered when he realized it was going to be a weyrling wing. It wasn't that he disliked working with weyrlings, it just felt a little to much like a Child's wing, a soft copy of one from Benden. But the amount of trust he had been willing to invest in Shmee told him that the Weyrwoman would do nothing of the sort, even though it looked so much like one.
"Now all we have to do is wait for them to arrive." Lifting the small pouch toward the sun, F'rah watched as the rays of light played tricks with the Selenitas symbol embossed onto the front.

Sheepishly creeping up next to Kalierre, Kaegan kept all noises to herself, since she was the last of the Queen's Wing to arrive. She didn't want her appearance to disturb the meeting that looked to already be in progress any more than it already might have. Peeking around the Greenrider to look at the drawing that Shmee had pulled out, the Junior Weyrwoman pulled Millieth into a sight share so that she could see the formation for herself. /I've got it./ Blinking as the Queen withdrew from her mind, Kaegan continued to listen to Shmee speak. The three largest would be switching out for the middle position... it made sense at least. Letting her eyes wonder to the faces of the others, Kaegan almost felt the urge to wince heavily, at least a nice slice of their wing looked very unhappy. Musing over the reason, the younger Weyrwoman had her thoughts interrupted by the dragon behind her. /Kaeganmine, pay attention. This is not a Weyrling lesson, you can't zone out or else you might miss something important. And honestly, I don't give a tail about why they are 'unhappy' so stop thinking about it so clearly./ Sorry... /Meaning, keep your musings to yourself unless they are meant to be shared with me./ Sighing, Kaegan rubbed the bridge of her nose, all the while trying to bring her attention back to whatever the heck Shmee was talking about.
Ever since she had been inducted into Selenitas, Kaegan's focus had wondered from habitually paying attention to every detail, to remembering only what she absolutely needed to. Benden had forcefully sharpened her attention span, while Selenitas had allowed her mind space to wonder, and it was not boding well for the Goldrider. Giving her head a shake as she resolved to practice paying attention to detail, Kaegan looked up and around to find Kalierre and the rest of the women already on the move to reach their dragons. Squeaking quietly, the Goldrider darted her way over to Millieth with a mouse like quality, her gray mouse skin jerkin and gray trousers doing nothing to disprove that animalistic assumption. Tugging her gray popper's hat securely onto her head, Kaegan pulled her goggles up over her eyes from around her neck. Help me up. Waiting for a few seconds for her Queen to lend a hand, the Junior Weyrwoman hoisted herself up into the riding leathers before fastening herself into them tightly. Before Kaegan had gotten her last strap tightened, Millieth took off running after the older Queen, giving her a hard time trying to tighten it down. Finally pulling it down into place with a sigh, she mentally kicked the Gold before bunkering down into their minds. Lets go... we're on the left. /Right./ Right? Right as in the direction or right as in- /RIGHT AS IN CONFIRMATION./ ...right.

(*cough no one else came because half of the wing are my characters, and I was on leave for a month cough*)
Shifting slightly in his leathers, E'rro allowed Ismaroth to scoot in a little closer to the others so he could relay the formation to him. /Such a simple formation. It is one of the ones we learned the first days of training, the one we call the Scatter Diamond./ Hmph. I thought a Weyrlingmaster here would believe more in the mental shape of the Selenitas Weyrling's mind. /Apparently not. Its such a simple pattern./ Adjusting his tinted flight goggles, the ex-Benden Weyrling sighed before placing his gloved fists upon his hips. Wingtraining here at Selenitas would probably prove to be nothing compared to the injury inducing training that Benden put the Children's wing through. There at least he had some respect from his fellow classmates, here on the other hand, he was always tossed mistrusting glances. Not that he cared, their mental accusations were probably true, since he (himself) would hopefully betray Selenitas the first chance he got. /I won't let you. I don't care if you like Benden better, I want you here at Selenitas, and that is how its going to be./ Oh shut the Shards up Ismaroth. I don't want to sharding hear it. Cutting off his connection to his large Brown, E'rro felt his Dragons trained muscles bunch beneath them before springing into the air after the newest Weyrlingmaster.
---
/Why aren't we in the Queen's wing! I belong there! NOT here in this lowly Weyrling Wing./ Rolling her eyes at the Green's voice in her head, Gina looked over at I'mny as he began to speak. He was no F'rah, but he would do fine, he was after all good enough to be a Weyrlingmaster... even if he was said to be the bad cop to F'rah's good cop routine. Dusting a spot of dried mud from her breaches, the Senior Greenweyrling hid a yawn behind her hand before looking down at the drawings that the Bluerider scratched out in the ground. /And another thing! I'm a Gold. Even though I'm a Weyrling I'm a SENIOR Weyrling, I'm old enough to be in the Queen's wing!/ We're here because Shmee and Aslath told us too. So be quiet and let sleeping mutts lie! Huffing slightly before nodding to I'mny as he mentioned something about understanding the plans, Gina broke her stance and cuffed Saraina squarely on the shoulder, happy to at least be in the same wing as one of her friends. "Lets do this and get it over with." Bounding with surprising grace over to her large Green, the Senior Weyrling swung up into her leathers and began strapping herself in. Giving the brooding Dasmonth a pat on her neck, Gina urged the Green on and into the air at I'mny's command.
---
Watching her whip-like Blue out of the corner of her eye, Saraina yawned and proceeded to tap out a rhythm with her fingers on her sleeve. Not to say that training was boring, but at the moment it was definitely less exciting than pickpocketing ever was. Rolling her neck in a head circle, the Senior Blueweyrling listened carefully as I'mny explained and drew their formation, only slightly irked that it was such a simple pattern. /Does he think F'rah hasn't taught us formations in both Thread Fighting and Dragon Fighting? This is such a... a... unoriginal and low level formation its almost an insult! I 'know' for a fact Ismaroth has learned much more advanced patterns already and he's YOUNGER than us!/ Hun, I know you're unsettled by the lack of challenge, but that is what we are doing, so we shall do it. /But Rainmine, I'd much rather you tell him that we all can do more complicated-/ No I won't. Now Hokth please, I'm trying to listen to I'mny speak. Turning her immediate attention to the Wingleader, Saraina surveyed the formation drawing once more before turning in sync with Gina. Grudgingly smiling as the Greenweyrling clapped her on the back, the young woman silently made her way to Hokth, her quiet footsteps the results of many a practice. Placing her hand on the Blue's hide, Sara made her way into her leathers with the assistance of her Dragon. Moments later, they took to the skies after the others in their wing, only a few seconds after I'mny himself.

Stretching his wings with out a shred of true energy, the darkened Blue yawned decisively before relaying a message to his Mine. /Conmine, I believe we have wingtraining today. Kirayuth has called a Summons for the Cyclone wing./ N'tia? I wonder whats with R'non these days... Heh. Only the soft click of a man's boots alerted the Blue to F'con's presence as he appeared on the landing perch. "Lets get 'er done." Tossing his black hair before placing his foot in the appropriate spot, the seasoned Bluerider jumped his way up to his leathers. It didn't take long, a few moments to be exact, to get himself strapped in and ready to go. /Go time?/ Go time. Bending forward as Jackreth pushed himself off of the ledge, the Bluerider waited until they were gliding at a smooth pace before he withdrew a pair of tinted riding goggles from the inside of his jacket. Fixing them securely to his head, F'con sighed unhappily as their short flight began to come to an end, their landing place coming into sight. Kicking his boot into the Blue's side, the man used his hands to gesture where they were going to land, it was a language they were practicing for when mental speaking would be distracting.
Bracing his legs in the leathers as Jackreth stretched his limbs toward the ground, F'con bounced slightly as they touched down. Unstrapping his leg leathers so he could sit sidesaddle, the Bluerider swung his leg over so that he was facing the others. Lauranna and Juliya had already arrived, not to mention N'tia was already there, but what would one expect for being one of the first to arrive. /A flamethrower?/ What? Switching his vision toward the Wingsecond, F'con couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in wonder. I don't know boy, I don't know. I suppose by the look on N'tia's face, our dear Brother's gal just gave him a talk about it. /Huh! To bad Styth enjoys Reysalth's company, she's rather pretty./ Rolling his eyes at his Blue's statement, the Rider lapsed into a quite watchfulness. How he was going to serve under a barely-legal-dragonriding-youngster was beyond him, he would much rather have a seasoned Greenrider step in for R'non rather than the boy.
/I suppose we should give him a chance./ Snorting in response, F'con almost dismissed the notion, but the fact N'tia was at a higher rank drew the thought back in. At Fort, only seasoned Dragonriders were even considered for Wingseconds, but here even young ones were considered. /I wonder if he has any fighting experience./ Another snort was put forth. If that one has enough fighting experience to impress us... then I shall eat my shoe. /He did come from Benden... and by Farnath we know E'rro can fight as well as us./ He was specially trained... I suppose we'll just have to see.

The room below him was buzzing with the chatter of Weyrlings and the invited, it certainly was a day for excitement and celebration. It had been a while since he had been able to have the honor of passing students into the next stage of their lives, and it was particularly rewarding when it was his own students graduating. The Precious Stone seniors had worked hard for this day to come, they deserved and needed it, though it would be hard letting them go. Sighing as he adjusted his tunic anxiously, F'rah knew the time for handing out the Graduation scrolls was drawing closer. He was proud for Saraina and Gina, but the fact he was proud of his whole class outweighed any favorites he might have. Shaking out his long hair, which needed to be cut before the day was out, the Weyrlingmaster looked down at his speech once more. It wasn't very long, but at least it was to the point, he knew that most people didn't care for long winded congratulatory speeches anyways.
Pushing back a few stray hairs from his face before turning his gaze back to the large room, the Wingsecond cleared his throat before placing a hand on the podium. "May I have all of your attention please. The Passing Ceremony is about to begin. Can all the Graduating Weyrlings take their appropriate seats and the Junior Weyrlings behind them. Everyone else is welcome to stand or sit wherever they feel comfortable as long as it is behind the Junior Weyrling sitting area. Thank you." Stepping down from the podium and motioning for one of the pre-chosen Junior Weyrlings to uncover the basket of scrolls and set it on the table to the right of the podium. The Weyrlingmaster would begin the ceremony as soon as everyone settled down, and the Seniors took their places.
---
Stretching her arms above her head in exhaustion, Saraina couldn't help but rubbing her eyes also, even though she received a smack on the shoulder for doing so. Rolling her tired eyes in disgust as Gina fretted that her makeup had been ruined by the rubbing, the Blueweyrling picked at the gown she was wearing. Light and dark purple, it definitely wasn't one of her favorite colors, but it was so much better than the white gowns the men were being forced to wear. Purple and White, the Weyr's colors, how traditional could you get... they could at least change the colors up every once in a while. Shaking her head as Gina turned her fussing over onto some other poor being, Saraina turned her attention to F'rah as he began to talk. Picking herself up from the chair she had been sitting in, the Blueweyrling snatched up her friend's arm before dragging Gina to the Senior chairs. "Lets go brindlebrain."
---
"Sara stop touching your face, you'll ruin your makeup I worked so hard on." Smacking her friend's shoulder as the Blueweyrling began to rub her eyes, Gina made sure that the makeup hadn't smeared. "You look fine, stop picking at your gown..." Making this comment even though she knew it would go ignored, the Greenweyrling sighed unhappily before moving onto one of their friends in the class. Trying to hide her anxious fidgeting, Gina made sure that the boy's robe's were almost perfect before stopping to listen to her Cousin speak. Squeaking slightly as she was dragged from her current project by the arm, the Weyrling stumbled along behind Saraina before righting herself and huffing. "I can find my seat perfectly well on my own." Huffing once more before taking her seat, Gina shifted her gown around herself before crossing her legs.
---
White. Of course the damn things had to be white, Selenitas was such a perfect fit for the color, clean and almost completely innocent. Looking at his cap with disgust as he rotated it by two of the corners, E'rro watched as the tassel flopped from one side to the other before going upside down and then starting again. The tassel was like his life, he had started at Benden gone to attack Selenitas but ended up staying by force and now he was starting all over again. His life had been turned upside down and now it was either live at Selenitas or not live at all. Squeezing the cap slightly so that it bent in a convex fashion, the Brownweyrling stopped before it was bent permanently. He had gotten over the despise he felt about being stuck here, it had smoldered into a strong dislike. He would serve Selenitas, but they would only get what he gave them, it would not be his absolute best, not by a long shot. It would only be enough to survive by. He would do what he was told. But only what he was told, nothing because of charity. Standing as everyone was instructed to take their seats, E'rro rolled his shoulder before selecting a seat in the back of the Senior's area. Maneuvering himself down into the wooden chair, the Brownweyrling yawned before turning his attention onto the Weyrlingmaster.

Only two! Only two males had joined her Chase! All of the able bodied Browns and Bronzes should be chasing her, even so early into the Flight! She just wouldn't stand for it! Snarling her challenge at Thorith and Cyanth as they both tried to sway her with words, she began to show them that talking wouldn't be the way to woo her. Diving down as the two Males got closer, Dasmonth consoled herself with the fact at least a Bronze had joined. Snapping her wings close into her body, the disillusioned Green spiraled downward toward the river, freeing them so that she leveled out a few feet above the water's surface. Tipping her wing so that it sent up a spray behind her, Dasmonth quickly began to gain altitude once more. Her large powerful wings brought her up into the cloud layer quickly, she hoped to lose the weaker of the two Males in this maze of condensed vapor. It would only be the first of the challenges she would have in store for the Chasers.
By the time the first Chaser entered the skies and the room, the Senior Weyrling had recovered her footing. Steel blue eyes seemed to hold the men in contempt, both Greens wondering whether or not either of them were worthy enough to Fly them. The Bronze was the first to appear in the Flight, gaining him favor in the GoldGreens' eyes, yet when the Browns appeared the favor wavered back into uncertainty. Both were handsome specimens and both would make due if they were the only ones vying for their attention, but they would have to work for it. Tossing her hair with a feral sort of grace, Gina/Dasmonth watched their males through a veil of swirling Lust.

/So. It's settled then... I get a bath tomorrow, and an oiling in the itchy spot tonight./ Yes, that's what I said. /Just making sure Mine. Oh... Aslath is arriving. Shmee and S'rei will be there soon, so you'll be less awkward./ Thanks Millieth. Good to know I look really awkward up here. /You are welcome./ Sighing heavily as she covered her face with her hands, Kaegan groaned to herself, letting out some steam that was building up. It had been a while since she had openly put herself in a situation that showed herself to be an actual Weyrwoman, and sitting at the Leader's table was probably one of the more displaying things she could do. Looking up from her hands to see the Senior Weyrwoman and the previous Weyrleader enter, the younger Goldrider smiled feebly at the two as they passed by, only then noticing that they had their child with them. Giving Shmee another small smile as they sat down next to her, Kaegan rubbed Azaran's wing before realizing S'rei was speaking to her. "O-oh! Hello S'rei. Thank you very much... My uh... friend picked it out for me. You both look really nice too." Tugging nervously at the napkin in her lap, the Queenrider chuckled lightly at the Bronzerider's other comment. "I-its a good thing he isn't then."
--
"Come on you two. You both are old enough to get here without me hassling you. You are Seniors for goodness sake." Positioning himself in the Archway of his cousin's apartment, the Wingsecond waited impatiently as the two women got their last minute accessories on. In fact, the only reason he had come over was that Styth had reported neither of the girls had left their living quarters. Rolling his eyes as he exited the room, F'rah added a yawn to his expression, eventually making his way to his awaiting Brown. /They are young Women... well. At least Gina is.../ Laughing, he waited until he could see the two Weyrlings on the Landing perch before nudging Styth mentally, signaling he was ready to leave. Leaning forward as his Brown launched himself into the canyon, the Weyrlingmaster gave his Dragon a pat on an exposed patch of hide. /You've been a lot quieter lately./ Well... I haven't been able to see Laurie a whole lot recently. /Oh yes... I should have guessed that was the problem. She should be at the Hatching feast tonight... I just don't like to see you so down Rahmine./ Don't worry, I'm fine Styth.
Dismounting from the Brown's back as they arrived at the Main Hall, F'rah gave the Dragon another pat before heading up the stairs to the Feasting hall. He had been to many Feasts before, so the sights and smells didn't over whelm him as they did for the first few as a Weyrling and young rider. Scanning the hall's inhabitants for a moment before making his way into the throng of the increasing crowd, F'rah slowly made his way to an open table.

"Yes, but you've been noticed now, thats all that counts." Looking back down at the ground as a woman caming rushing up to them, the Bluerider sighed before rubbing the bridge of his nose with his finger tips. He had run into less appreciative parents before, but he couldn't always promise he would win the arument in the child's favor. /I will lift you down./ Thanks. "I'll be right back. If you want to get down just tell Jackreth." Grabbing onto one of the Blue's sidestraps, F'con slid himself down onto the profered leg before jumping the rest of the way down. Moving his body so that he stood a respectful distance from the Mother, the Bluerider nodded his head slightly before hooking one of his thumbs into a pocket. "Indeed Ma'am. Our Queen's clutch might have hatched, but we have another fully mature Queen that might rise at any moment, you cannot time rises." Nodding slightly, F'con accepted the bag his Partner tossed to him before turning back to the woman. "Kalina has been searched as a Candidate, but I cannot forcefully take her from you, we at Selenitas respect the wishes of the parents. But you must understand, the Child in question does have her own say in this matter. Selenitas will back any desicion that your Kalina makes."

/Oh how I degrade myself to bring this Child to you ConMine. I must crawl through these tree's like a whipped Wher./ I'm sorry Jacky. I'll give you a bath when we get home. Shuffling his wings slightly in agitation, the large Blue began to move through the small spaces between the trees, slinking and bending like a snake through sand. He had released the Beast when the Girl had settled herself on his back, there was no longer a chance that it could have gotten at her. Swinging his head back toward the youngling, Jackreth snorted slightly before returning his head to its original position, his green eyes swirled with only the slightest hint of orange. Weaving his way through the final stretches of the trees, the Seasoned Dragon yawned heartily as the sun's rays hit his face. He would walk the girl into the Hold, she obviously didn't know how to strap herself in, it wouldn't do to risk her falling after having gone through so much trouble to obtain her. Moving into a steady lope, Jackreth made his way around a small portion of the lake before leaping over the building that blocked his way into the long stretch of land upon which he had first landed. /Her name is Kalina. I picked it up through mindspeaking to her./

"So thats it then. We'll take the boy to the Weyr to be a Candidate. My partner has all the details you'll ever need to know in that pouch..." Watching as the Greenrider handed over a leather pouch with the Selenitas logo on it, F'con continued as soon as it exchanged hands. "... He will be settled in and you can come and visit as much as you want. He will be educated and so on and so forth." Shaking the Father's hand as the Greenrider took the exuberant boy by his hand, he broke the shake as soon as his Dragon reappeared in the court yard. Flicking his gaze to Jackreth as he communicated with him, F'con knitted his brows together as he walked over to his waiting Blue. Mounting the Blue's leg so that he could swing himself up to eye level, the Bluerider ran a hand through his black hair before speaking to the girl. "So Kalina, that is your name right? Do you have any parents that I need to contact before you come with us to Selenitas?"

Finally, the girl had caught sight of his shoulder knots... and yet even after a small fit of tensing muscles, she still persisted in speaking to him. "Let me stay! Ha! I am being forced to stay here." Using the tree as leverage, the BrownWeyrling rocked himself to his feet, drawing himself to his full height. Walking forward until there was not more than a pace between them, E'rro furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes. He wouldn't hurt the girl- no, this woman could not have been trained for battle, she wasn't worth the effort it would take. "Friends. I don't need friends in an Enemy Weyr. I don't need friends period." Turning on his heel in a sharp pivot, the former Benden Weyrling crossed his arms behind his back and returned to the tree. Tossing his hair with a small flick of his head, E'rro reached for the tree with one of his hands and brought it down the bark in a slow motion, keeping his remaining arm behind his back. "What makes you so sure, that I wont hurt you?" His name he kept to himself, the less people knew of him the better... the more likely he'd be left alone and to his own devices.
Flapping his wings once before folding them at his side, Ismaroth wound his tail around the trunk of a small tree before inspecting the green before him. She was one of the smaller Weyrling Greens he had seen so far at this Weyr, though she definitely wasn't one of the smallest he had ever seen in his short life. Nothing was particularly lovely about her build, rather normal if he was to describe her in a word or two, but her coloration was certainly nothing to wag a wing at. Her patten held his fascination for a small while, but it soon faded away to simply not caring what she looked like. /I am Ismaroth. If I had grown up at your Weyr, I would be a Junior, such as yourself. I not only know how to fly, I know how to Between also. You will be able to fly soon enough./

Smoothing out the folds in her dress, the young Woman spun around slowly in front of her wardrobe mirror, inspecting the fall of the dress on her body. It was a lovely amethyst color, and she was lucky to still have it, it was one of the few things that survived her escape from Benden. The dress fell just short of her knees and it's sleeves entirely covered her arms, both of which she was grateful, long dresses annoyed her and she would rather not have to see the bandages on her arms. The Weyrwoman's burns had healed but the silvery scars were not exactly pretty things to look at, they weren't ugly, but they brought her nightmares. Tying the ribbon that went around her waist, Kaegan gave a hearty sigh before turning to her Flitter and dozing Salamandyr. "Well. What do you think boys?" -'utiful. Pretty, buutiful.- Giggling slightly as Dash put in his drowsy two cents, the Goldrider offered her hand to the large Bronze Firelizard as he too trilled happily at her appearance. "You two spoil me. Lets go my handsome one, the Little is to small to go with us." The material of her dress plumed as Kaegan spun around, floating around her apartment as she made sure that everything was in order, the Queenrider soon made her way out the archway that lead to her Landing Ledge. Mounting her Dragon carefully so as not to snag her dress on the riding straps, Kaegan gave her Queen a nudge when she was ready. /To bad that Man of yours couldn't come. You might have had some one to talk to.../ Oh be quiet you big meanie. /Hah./
It only took a few moments to get to the Gather Hall, but it took twice as long to build up enough courage to enter it. It was Azaran who finally made the decision to enter, he wasn't about to miss being fed if he could help it, and the many pictures that ran through her mind forced her to see his point. Clutching at the edges of her sleeves, the red haired woman stepped into the brilliant light of the Feast. Not stopping to chat with anyone, Kaegan silently made her way up to the Leader's table and procured her seat. Unfortunately she was the first of the Weyrleaders to be there, leaving herself utterly alone at the table, save for the company of her Bronze Flitter. /Breathe Kaeganmine. You'll be okay./

/Lets get this circuit over with... the weather is picking up again. I hate the sun as much as you do./ If we could go any faster we would. Thrusting his hand into the air and bringing it down, the Bluerider gave the signal to land to the Rider behind him. /Farnath only knows why we have to search so soon after a Clutching. Its not like Millieth will be Rising... / Technically we aren't searching this time. Selenitas is getting to be more like Fort. /True. The longer this Weyr is exposed to the War, the more like a Warring Weyr it becomes./ Try saying that a few times fast... but you're right, they are... here, land there. Leaning back into the leather straps as Jackreth began to start his decent, F'con braced himself as the large Blue touched down in the open court yard. Moving forward a few paces so that the second pair could touch down, the Bluepair waited silently as their partner swung herself out of her straps and hurried off into the hold's main hall. "Sharding Errands. What am I? A friggen Runner?" /Mine?/ What is it? /I sense a possible Candidate./ Great. Just my luck... I get to lug a child all the way back to the Weyr.
Glancing around at the gathering crowd, F'con sighed before unstrapping himself and dismounting. Moving so he could face a good portion of the exuberant gathering, the man gave a rough sigh before flipping his hand into the sky before speaking. "Searches! Bring all willing Children forward or those of the ages of or between twelve to twenty-two." Watching quietly as children were pushed to the front, F'con glanced over to his Blue before planting himself firmly into place. /The one in the Green. The boy. He is a possible but there is another... it is not in this group./ "You Boy... yes the one in the green. How would you like to be a Dragonrider Candidate?" Go find the other one. /Right./

Spreading his wings so that he could clear the area around him, Jackreth jumped into the air before even trying to flap his appendages for any sort of Lift. Coughing in a Dragonic laugh as the wind from his wings whipped around the people on the ground, the Blue climbed into the lower atmosphere before training his thoughts on the Hold below. He could sense the human, yet he couldn't pinpoint the location at which the Holder was hiding. Tilting his angular head to the side as his left eye scanned the ground below him, Jackreth grunted as he concentrated on something bumping around in the bushes. Hissing slightly as two forms burst forth from the underbrush, the large male clenched his claws on his front legs before turning into a spiral. Angling so that his massive body would fit between the tree's, Jackreth dropped from the sky onto the beast, making sure that his claws didn't kill the offending animal. Lifting his head slowly up to the level at which the girl was hiding, the Blue hissed slightly before reaching out with his mind. He would speak to the girl, but only so he could send his thought to her, nothing more would transfer between them. /You will come with me, Human Female. Get onto my back, I will not ask again./

It was a sunny day today, fortunately for the Senior Greenweyrling she had been assigned to Boat duty, and not Kitchen duty as she had had to do last time. "Argyle coooome!" Laughing as the large green firelizard zipped by her, Gina watched as the female zipped into the water before exploding from under the surface. Offering her arms to the soaking wet Flitter, the young woman happily held Argyle to her before striding over to the loading dock. The nearer she drew to the long wooden Pier the more familiar the lone figure waiting looked, though it wasn't until Gina was within twenty paces did she finally see who it was. "Alaid dear!" Placing Argyle upon her shoulder so her bright teal shirt could dry slightly, the Greenweyrling jogged herself the rest of the way over to the boating dock. "So you are on boating duty also? I bet its your first time... lucky for you I'm here to teach all of the new Weyrlings and Candidates how to work the boats." Slowing to a stop, the Greenweyrling smiled kindly at her young counterpart. It had been a while since Gina had convinced the young Greenpair to stay at Selenitas, and she still didn't regret her hasty move to save them. They were so very much unlike a certain Brownpair that had been saved, these Females were more like Selenitas's Junior Weyrwoman and her Gold when they arrived. "So are you ready to learn?" Grinning happily as she looked over Alaid, Gina received croons from her Firelizard as she began to pet her
