Tugging hard on the reins of the Red Sorrel gelding, the Greenweyrling pulled the horses head into a one rein stop before throwing herself out of the Runner's stall. "Shardit! Sara take Condor!" Darting shakily past the beast, her friend and even a shaken stable hand, Gina slipped and scrambled her way down the path from the Stalls. The girl knew that Dasmonth had been gaining her glow over the last week, but she didn't know that the Green was going to fly so soon after. As a loud Roar echoed far into the hillsides, Gina was hit full force by a wave of desire. Stumbling into a wall, the Weyrling threw herself down the multiple hallways it would take to get her to the flightroom. The words of her Cousin F'rah echoing in her head, she had to get to the flight room... she had to get to the flight room.
Snapping her jaws open for another bugle, the Queen of the Greens tossed herself into the skies greedily. She was finally able to call all of her rightful males to her, she was a Gold and she wanted her Bronzes! And like her Mother, her endurance was far beyond the throws of her lowly Green cousins, she wouldn't be caught quite so easily. Pumping her large yellowish wings, Dasmonth deliberately ignored the vivid green glow that was poring out into the skies around her. She was a Queen, and she was going to make the males work for even a smidgen of her attention! Roaring again to call the males from their hiding places, the unyielding Green angled her flight upward and into the clouds, her glow the only thing giving her away. She would glide and store her energy until the Bronzes came, then the chase would truly be on!
If there was ever a time that Gina hated the fact that her Green believed she was a Queen... it would be right now. The Dragon was pumping out gallons of lust and tons of other emotions that just combined to make the first-flight Weyrling go under almost immediately. The transition from Human to Dragon was as smooth as warm butter, it happened so fast Gina had only enough time to stumble into the Flightroom before collapsing on the wall, the emotions starting to take a toll on her body.

As he tried to decipher the silence settled over his weyr, P'nor stared thoughtfully at his Bronze companion. Usually the Bronzerider's weyr was extremely chaotic, and the man had only two pets, a blue 'mandyr and a blue flit. His gaze flitted briefly to the two troublemakers, and he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that only one, blue 'mandyr Squee, was currently present. As the quiet pressed in, his mind drifted to other thoughts such as the recent Hatching and the newest Queen, Hepaticath. Hopefully, the newest Queenpair would actually live instead of being killed by Benden like Paryal and her Queen had been. Then, something in the atmosphere changed, and it was a change that the Bronzerider had experienced many times...
"Oh no you don't, Cyanth!" P'nor started out of his chair as his Bronze heaved himself to his feet. I will win this time! I have failed before in winning Aslath, and I will not fail in winning this queenly creature! Cyanth spoke vehemently, daring his Bonded to refuse. He had lost so many times to his Blue brothers and to Salenth and Ciceroth that the Bronze would not rest until he won a Flight. I must win, Mine. I must! With that, Cyanth launched himself into the sky and began to soar towards the Rising Green. Beautiful Dasmonth, I will fly my best for you. Even though you probably won't win? The Bronze sent pictures of P'nor falling flat on his face as a response.
Cyanth circled Dasmonth closely, but not so close as to aggravate her. He would win this Green, and his old wounds would not hinder him! P'nor winced at the Bronze's thoughts, remembering the collection of wounds Cy had collected from previous or should he say Aslath's Flight. Catch her so you will stop Chasing every female that Rises. P'nor demanded as he raced towards the Flightrooms. I can't not resist any Queen that Rises just like this one. P'nor growled angrily as he listened to the Bronze. The creature was delusional if he believed this Green was a Queen.
As P'nor entered the Flighrooms, he came to a grinding halt. Dasmonth's rider was a weyrling! It was the man's last coherent thought as he succumbed to the lust. Instead of seeing a young woman, he saw a beautiful green-yellow dragon before him. He longed to bring her into his embrace, to claim her as his, but the unspoken rules of a Flight stilled the Bronzerider. Hopefully, this Flight would be over fast.

Finally, D'ran had made a decision. He was no longer going to get annoyed when Thorith chased. In all honesty, he just really didn't see the point. He wasn't winning at all, and it wasn't like he had a weyrmate to remain loyal too, not at all. So, to save himself distress, he figured it was probably best to just leave it alone. So.. I know longer have to argue with you about such trivial things as chasing? Far from sounding frustrated, Thorith really only sounded very amused, watching his rider for a long moment as D'ran sighed.
I don't have to like it. Yes, you may chase as you like. D'ran finally responded, chuckling as Shy nipped at his fingers playfully, chittering softly as Thorith rumbled in amusement. Again, his attention returned to what ever the brown had been thinking about before he'd gotten the drift of D'ran's thoughts. Try to keep it to a minimal though Thor. I don't particularly like sleeping around. A teasing note entered his mental tone this time, though D'ran's teasing look faded as a roar echoed around the weyr. You promised! Thorith muttered, getting up from where he'd been curled as D'ran nodded. He did promise and that was that. "Of course."
The moment those two words were muttered, Thorith let out a bugle of his own to announce to the beautiful Dasmonth that he would join her flight. Launching off the ledge quickly, the brown didn't pause to think about what His would have liked, there was no way Thorith was going to lose the chance to fly this queenly green. Beautiful, glorious Dasmonth. Thorith whispered, growling lowly at the bronze. Hah, he could beat a bronze! He was slightly smaller, and thus more agile. No problems there.
She is young, it will be a joy to Catch her. Thorith sent to His, as D'ran paused at the flight rooms, mentally wanting to hit Thorith though he offered a tiny smile in Gina's direction, knowing that even if she couldn't see it... It was still a nice gesture. A weyrling? A weyrling! There are limits to this I'm not bothered thing you know! I can't Fly a child! Thorith didn't answer, chuckling mentally as he continued to pursure Dasmonth. The glowing green didn't look like a child to him, not one bit, this was a beautiful mature dragon. A beautiful dragon he was going to win.
D'ran growled under his breath, looking at the only other chaser so far and finally giving in. Perhaps another chaser would join, one closer to her age. Maybe. Finally letting his mind become one with Thorith's, all of D'ran's worries were let go, attention focused on the glowing green.

Only two! Only two males had joined her Chase! All of the able bodied Browns and Bronzes should be chasing her, even so early into the Flight! She just wouldn't stand for it! Snarling her challenge at Thorith and Cyanth as they both tried to sway her with words, she began to show them that talking wouldn't be the way to woo her. Diving down as the two Males got closer, Dasmonth consoled herself with the fact at least a Bronze had joined. Snapping her wings close into her body, the disillusioned Green spiraled downward toward the river, freeing them so that she leveled out a few feet above the water's surface. Tipping her wing so that it sent up a spray behind her, Dasmonth quickly began to gain altitude once more. Her large powerful wings brought her up into the cloud layer quickly, she hoped to lose the weaker of the two Males in this maze of condensed vapor. It would only be the first of the challenges she would have in store for the Chasers.
By the time the first Chaser entered the skies and the room, the Senior Weyrling had recovered her footing. Steel blue eyes seemed to hold the men in contempt, both Greens wondering whether or not either of them were worthy enough to Fly them. The Bronze was the first to appear in the Flight, gaining him favor in the GoldGreens' eyes, yet when the Browns appeared the favor wavered back into uncertainty. Both were handsome specimens and both would make due if they were the only ones vying for their attention, but they would have to work for it. Tossing her hair with a feral sort of grace, Gina/Dasmonth watched their males through a veil of swirling Lust.

She certainly was a fiesty creature, wasn't she? Dasmonth knew what she wanted, and there were some males that would definitely regret not Chasing such a jewel, but Cyanth would definitely not be one of them! When the Flying Green snarled her challenge, the great Bronze beast returned it with a low challenging growl of his own. It rumbled deep in his chest and traveled through his entire body. His need was great and so far, this Bronze had been thwarted by so many males when he had Chased, and maybe, just maybe, he would actually win the affections of the darling Dasmonth.
As she dove towards the river, Cyanth shot after Dasmonth like a torpedo locked onto its target. His wings were held tightly to his sides to make the beast more aerodynamic, and his entire body spun as he trailed after the Green. About have a dragonlength above the water, Cyanth opened his wings with a resounding snap and momentarily slowed before he began pumping his wings. He darted after the object of this Flight as she zoomed into a great cloudbank. The Bronze did not hesitate as he entered after her. Although his vision was considerably worse in the condensed water vapor, Cyanth pursued the Green with the help of his hearing and touch. He would fele the clouds swirling around him, but the male could also feel the clouds moving against him as Dasmonth flew through the whiteness.
Are you always this playful and tricky, Dear Dasmonth? Cyanth crooned to the Green as he followed diligently. His bright purple eyes strained to the Green in the white world. For a moment, he thought he saw the flash of a tail, but as he looked harder, there was nothing to be seen. Why do you hide yourself in such a place where your beauty can not be looked upon, Lovely Green? The Bronze called out again, privately knowing that no Rising Female usually took to flattery, but the lusty beast could not help himself when it came to talking with the pretty females.
His hazel eyes studied the Green before him, noting her black hair and striking blue eyes. When she moved, the rider could feel his need grow, and he hated to think that such a precious creature could possibly end up in the care of the misfit that was D'ran. P'nor/Cyanth spared the Brown a glance, but it was so brief one could have imagined it. He would much rather watch the beautiful Green then stare at the likes of that creature. As Cyanth entered the cloudbank, P'nor saw his world dim and it was harder to see Gina/Dasmonth. It was frustrating not being able to see the object of his affections, but what else could he do? The clouds were a test and leaving them before the Green did was probably not a good thing.

She snarled, how sad, she wasn't happy with words, well that was fine. Fine with him, for surely there were other ways to show this glourious green that he was indeed the best choice. For one, he was sure to be quicker in the air than the stupid lumbering bronze. Her body arrowed down, and Thorith followed sharply, careful to keep his eyes on her as she went over the river. It would be very easy to make a mistake here, and that could be fatal, he would not, would not let that stupid bronze win this green.
The spray flew up and Thorith growled softly, switching to rely on his earing more than sight, and her scent. Even in a thin veil of water, he could smell her, Dasmonth. It wouldn't be so easy to loose him in the rive, let her bring on the other challenges. Was that a wing? No, no, she wasn't behind them, it was probably Cyanth, taking up needed air with his unneeded body. After all, Dasmonth would end up choosing him. What was the point in even trying? Beautiful Dasmonth, you test us like a true queen of the skies should. Only the best is worthy of you. Words weren't the best way to sway a green, they wanted reactions not flattery, but it never hurt. Your beauty is blinding Dasmonth, but I am glad to be blinded if it is you I may look upon last. Silky words, but would they be enough to help sway her in his favour? As they began to climb into the sky, Thorith hoped so.
D'ran/Thorith refused to show how much it bothered him to lose sight of her, listening, tasting the air, scenting her, there was no way he was going to let a bronze win his little queen. She tested them like she should, it was only right for Gina/Dasmonth were lovely, very lovely, more lovely than any green or gold. D'ran/Thorith didn't even bother to look at P'nor/Cyanth, instead purring softly at Gina/Dasmonth, she was so beautiful. He longed to touch her, longed to reach out and pull her close, but he couldn't. Such beauty should choose her winner, not be forced into it. Why would she want a bronze that would rise after the next silly female when she could have him?

Switching back and forth with sudden movements, Dasmonth coughed in delight as she felt the males strain to see her. Yes! She was a prize worth looking for, but if the males only used their eyes to find her they would fail, she wanted a male who was smart enough to use all his senses. Taking a deep breath, the glittering green closed her wings silently and let herself free fall out of the clouds. Waiting a few moments before opening her sails and breathing again, Dasmonth remained silent as she picked up her speed and set a course in the same direction she had just lead her chasers, though a good distance away from the cloud bank. If the males didn't puzzle out that she had left the cloud bank, then neither of them deserved to catch her.
Sliding a hand through her hair before slowly dancing over to her two males, the Queen of the sky slid her finger tips across the shoulders of the Bronze before gliding away as quickly as she had come. Cyanth/P'nor was strong and very handsome, although he could not fly faster than herself, he had the ability to go on for a long time. Giving a titter as a new wave of lust rolled through the Green's body, Dasmonth/Gina slunk her way over to the fog-bogged Brown. This one was like the Bronze, his features were just right, even if he did look as though he had previously rolled out of bed. Stepping behind Thorith/D'ran, the Queen slid by, letting her shoulders rub against his back before darting out of reach and back into the vision of both Chasers. Tracing the shape of her hip with her fingers, Dasmonth/Gina tossed her hair with a wicked smile before silently unlacing some of her tunic ties. Revealing a fair amount of cleavage in the process, yet not enough to show all she had going for her.
Dipping down low over the River once more, Dasmonth felt a small twinge in her wings, signaling the strain of her flight starting to kick in. Shaking her head as she pushed her focus back onto the river before her, the GoldGreen used her momentum to carry her up parallel to the roaring Waterfall. She had gotten far enough away from the cloud bank that if the male's hadn't gotten out by now, they would have to work to find her. How fun this game was!
