F'rah yawned behind his hand as the students began to file in, he was almost drop dead tired, and was insanely glad that it wasn't going to be a busy day... at least for him it wasn't. In fact, the Weyrlingmaster had to do little more than usher out a spiel or two and then fly around lazily, with a few interruptions here and there. Sighing slightly as he stretched his bear like arms to their extent, F'rah winced slightly as his back and shoulders cracked. It had been a rough night on Watch duty, there had unfortunately been a small fire that had erupted and he was not only forced to help put it out, he had also offered to climb a tree and save a small bird family. "Alright everyone, settle down please." The wound to his shoulder had almost done healing, although the fact that this was the second time he had hurt his left shoulder left him thinking that it was like the universe wanted him to go lame. Shaking his head as he waited for all of the Weyrlings to settle down, F'rah stood as if to loom over the Seniors. "First of all. Congratulations. You are all now Seniors, and with Seniorship comes responsibilities that you did not have as Juniors. Such as helping the Juniors- becoming their mentors. Most of them are still new to this Weyr, and after the incident I know for a fact that a few of them are insecure. So please, do your best to become friends." Clearing his throat slightly before shuffling a stack of paper, the Weyrlingmaster rubbed his temple before beginning again. "So I bet you are all dying to know what we are doing today, so here it is."
Taking a few moments to scratch out the day's lesson plan, F'rah flicked out his pointer before tapping it on the first section. "Mating Flights and what to expect! Ohhh. Ahhhh." Swinging around and redirecting his pointer stick at his Weyrlings, the Wingsecond wiggled the end of it. "Then we will be having a scavenger hunt in teams. So please. Sit quietly, soak in information- because believe it or not this is very important- and then we will be able to move on."

No matter what he said, being a senior felt no different to being a junior, there was no sudden rush of maturity(as if that would ever happen) or any other feeling other than maybe a slight relief that they were getting further into their training. It wasn't as though Beka would go out of her way to get to know the juniors, shards, she wouldn't even go out of her way to talk to any of them. Beka propped her cheek up with one hand, looking extremely bored as F'rah began talking. Mating flights, the idea of talking about them sent a cool shiver down Beka's spine, but at least she didn't ride a female dragon. Thoth wouldn't chase if she didn't want him too, Beka was sure of that.
Or at least she hoped he wouldn't. Once they talked about mating flights, oh joys, they'd be doing a scavenger hunt, double joys. So far, it sounded like a very boring lesson, she almost wished that Anai hadn't decided to stay with Thoth, some sort of communication would have been better than sitting here, staring at F'rah with a flat expression. You should pay attention, I'm interested to. You should be prepared, it never hurts to know as much as you can. I don't need to know though, you won't chase, you haven't shown any interest in any female except Calistoth, and you're just friends. Still, she supposed he was right, better to be prepared than caught off guard.

Rielana had barely had any contact with the junior weyrlings, Jeminorth and chores were her whole world and she was happy that way, still, she supposed she did have to make an effort, new friends were always fun. Seniors did have responisibility... Not that she actually felt more responsible, that would come with time... Hopefully. Tilting her head to one side as F'rah continued, Rielana grew more interested in the lesson. Mating flights would be a boring topic, but as a green rider she supposed she'd better listen. It was the scavenger hunt that had her eyes lighting up.
That would mean outside, wouldn't it? Running around looking for things, and Fiel was clever, he'd help heaps. Even if the lazy bones was asleep on Jeminorth's back right now. They just had to get through the mating flights part first. What could be so important about it? Dragons rose or chased, there was nothing you could do about it, it was just accepting it. That was all it really was... Wasn't it?
~
Religna was not going to go anywhere enar the junior weyrlings, there would be others that would look out for them, and personally, Religna didn't think she'd be much of a protector, Ith would be, but not herself. Seniors... Did that mean their training was almost over? That they were nearly full dragon riders? Or was it just another stepping stone in the lessons? You think alot Mine, perhaps listening would be good too? It was always so easy to pay attention when Ith was paying attention too, she knew when Religna drifted off in her own thoughts and tugged her back.
Hm, mating flights, the one prospect of dragonriding that Religna wasn't looking forward to. Sure, she would never stop Ith, she would rise when she wanted to, but that didn't mean it didn't terrify her. Then a scavenger hunt, in teams. Oh sigh. Well, maybe he'd let them have their flitters for it, Toria wouldn't be much help, but she did try.

R’lor ambled into the lesson, Yiminth trailing faithfully behind him. He was tired and he really didn’t want to be here, but he knew that he had to attend his lessons or do more chores afterwards. Plus, his cuddly, eager-to-please dragon wouldn’t let him skip if he seriously wanted to anyway. That’s right. Lessons are important. I want to learn. Don’t you? the brown asked, looking up at His as they took a seat in front of the weyrling master. Do you really want to learn about greenflights? he retorted after the subject of their lesson was revealed. Yes. I want to know what I’m going to be doing, what I should be doing when I Chase, the good-natured dragon answered, curling up on the ground, head propped on his forelegs. R’lor simply rolled his eyes and leaned his chair back a bit lazily.
