Zylia kept her mouth shut, leaning against a post of the dock as she picked at her fingernails. No one had come by here in almost an hour and she was quickly becoming bored with this chore. If there was no one to row across then what was the point of her sitting here, alone. The least they could do was assign someone else to do it with her. That way she could at least have some decent conversation while she was doing this stupid chore. Not that there was anything to do. Nothing productive at all. And she hated it.
"Hello." A voice stirred her from her thoughts. Startled, she jumped, letting out a little squeek. Blushing, she laughed. "You scared me." C'ralt rolled his eyes, he had a headache. Great, another giggly girl who was going to irritate him while he tried to sleep. He hated getting this chore, but right now it gave him a chance to catch up on his shut-eye and to get rid of the pounding in his head. Sure, he didn't think the dock was going to be the most comfortable bed, but he wouldn't notice it once he fell asleep. "I'm Zylia," she introduced herself, her voice a bit softer than usual.
Sure, she was getting a bit better around men. Before, she'd be terrified because they weren't in a populated place, but now she was confident enough to at least introduce herself. "C'ralt," he responded shortly, rubbing his eyes before walking on to the dock. "Do you need me to row you across?" she asked, her voice taking on the submissive tone that she'd been working so hard to banish. "No," he responded shortly before stretching out, "If anyone needs to be rowed across, it's up to you." Zylia nodded, standing up straight until he shut his eyes. When he wasn't looking, she leaned back against the post with a sigh. Well, he was some kind of company.
