((Up late xP))
For perhaps the third time this candle mark, Raylin had to double over to fight back a wave of nausea. Kitchen chores when you where pregnant where horrible. No duh. Brilliant deduction on her part. Why hadn’t she tried to trade with someone? Groaning she leaned back and struggled to get her breathing even. The whole thing was making her horribly ill. The sights, the sounds, and especially the smells. One of the drudges gave her an odd look but the green rider ignored it. Right now she was to busy cursing her luck.
As the feeling started to wane Raylin hazarded a look at the vegetables she was chopping. Trying to do anything even remotely food related was almost impossible and she sighed before dropping her head into her hands. The desire to just break down and cry suddenly came over her. Faranth this was getting ridiculous. Ebolath caressed her mind soothingly. Are you ok? Should I call a healer? The dragon's voice held a note of worry. I’m fine. Really. It’s just the food. It’s making me sick to my stomach. Then why are you crying? I don’t know.
From her position outside Ebolath crooned and flicked her tail worriedly. The green was sprawled out directly in front of the main hall. Despite the weather, the dragon refused to leave until hers had completed her chores. The green never left her bonded alone now. Unless Ebolath was positive Raylin was in safe hands. As it where, no one around was even remotely in the green’s trust category. Nope not leaving. Curling in on herself Ebolath settled to projecting soothing waves of emotion to her bonded. It is ok Raylinminelove. Don’t cry.

After seeing the other weyrling struggling through the first part of the day, Nris decided it was time to do something about this. Though she didn't know why she was having such trouble, it was plain to Nris that Raylin was having difficulty in keeping her stomach contents where they belonged. Her first thought was that Ralyin was sick ... but that didn't stick long. If she were truely sick, they would not have had her chopping food, much less in the kitchen.
So she had gone and fetched some ice, and busted it into smallish peices. This she carried over to where Raylin was. "Hey. Here ... this might help you. Suck on these, it might quell the urges." She offered. "Why don't you sit for a minute or two, too? You look like you could use it." Nris advised, gesturing slightly with her free hand to a spot where Raylin could sit.
Lilliementh had been bouncing around outside, chasing bits of stuff that scooted about in the wind, until she got tired. And then, when she stopped moving, she got cold. Which, she particularly didn't like at all. So, rather naturally, she'd hunted around for a nice warm, small cozy spot to try and hole up until hers came back out. Cause no matter how hard she tried, the cooks weren't going to let her into the kitchens where it was really warm and cozy.
The scrawny little green had been most delighted to find another dragon resting nearby, and had happily bounded over. Hello! She greeted, before promptly nosing in alongside Ebolath and worming her way under the older green's wing. Ahhhh ... nice and warm! Curling up in there, she settled down right comfiliy, as if she had every right in the world to wiggling up under any old dragon's wing and go to sleep.

Raylin flinched as someone spoke and raised her head to look. Wiping the tears from her eyes, she looked up at the other girl. Weyrling like herself. Had to be from the newly impressed clutch. Accepting the ice numbly she did as she was bidden and stuffed a piece into her mouth. It actually did seem to help. The green rider offered a slight smile and got up form her place as the candidate motioned towards the chair. “Thanks” She offered weakly as she slumped into it, fighting a headache that was beginning to form in her temples. Raylin felt a surge of questioning emotion from Ebolath. It’s ok. I’m sitting now. She felt the greens continued worry but at least it had abated some. Sending a wave of love to her mind mate Raylin opened her eyes and smiled at Nris. “Sorry. I’ll be ok in a minute.”
As Lilliementh snuggled under her wing, Ebolath gave a questioning croon. The green was surprised, she had been keeping track of hers when suddenly she felt something worm against her. The little green puzzled her. Hello. Ebolath returned politely. Are you cold? I am afraid it is rather chilly outside. She rumbled, the sound now distinctly amused. One couldn’t really fault a hatchling. They didn’t know any better after all. Is yours the one helping mine? Would you please thank her for me? Ebolath might have done so herself, but she didn’t know the girl. It wasn’t right to just barge into minds uninvited, especially if the person was not a friend.

Nris smiled reassuringly, and then went to go get a drink for Raylin. Something sweet, and cold. Both of those should help with the nausea, too, but she wasn't sure. Sometimes sweet was not what was wanted ... but all she could do was try. "Here." She said, upon returning with a big mug of chilled juice. "This might help you settle your stomach. Might I ask why you are having trouble? Wouldn't it be wise to go see a Healer? If you're sick, you really ought not be handling food, you know. Maybe they will give you a dispensation?" She suggested, crouching down onto her heels and watching Raylin.
Nris wasn't sure ... but Raylin looked pretty young. Younger than herself. But then ... a lot of people were younger than Nris. Nris was about as old as a body could get and still somehow manage to impress a dragon... She had already noted that a lot of the full blown riders were considerably younger than her. Which was just ... weird. Really weird.
Lilliementh snuggled down against Ebolath's side, crooning softly and happily. Niiiiiice and waaaarrrrrrrmmm. Propping her chin on Ebolath's elbow, the young green looked up at Ebolath with a plainly happy expression. I was cold, yes! Now I am warm! You are nice and warm. I like it in here. She answered, happily. Mine is looking after someone, yes. Is that yours? She does not appear well, to me. Mine thinks she should see a healer. Why does she not? Okay! I will thank her for you ... mine likes to help people ... she used to swim with ship fish, she says. I want to know what a shipfish looks like! Lilliementh said, apparently running off on a tangent that had nothing to do with Raylin.
Inside, Nris smiled slightly, at the reception of the relayed thanks. "You have a sweet and thoughtful dragon." She commented.
