Practice. Practice.
Practice.
Well, R'men was giving up on practicing. He didn't have the best penmanship on Pern, but it worked for figures and quick write ups when he was on the trains. Not now, when your letters had to be readily readable. He'd work on them later when he could do it alone. With a dragon hovering over his shoulder, readily asking him questions or pointing out to him when his pen was getting sloppy.
Now that irked him.
He'd have to ask Weith to stop pointing out his mistakes until the dragon either learned to read or learned to write. He doubted either would ever happen, especially the latter. But for now he just sat in the Archives room, squishing plants and making ink.
