Watching the clouds go by over head wasn't exactly what Gina called fun, but her responsibilities to her newly hatched green forced her to stay close to the Weyrling barracks. It made it even harder on the Weyrling that her life bond believed that she was a Queen, and no matter what any one said she wouldn't even consider it as a possibility. Knowing that she had to fall back onto some old habits to keep her sane, Gina began to knit whenever she could, venting any pent up frustration in the fantastic colors and patterns she wove.
Unfortunately today was one of those days that she needed to attack her yarn, for her big green flitter had begun to gain a glow in the past few days. Worried about Argyle and the flight she was going to under take soon, if not today, Gina let her hands fly quietly along the edges of her scarf. It wasn’t finished yet, and it needed to be seemed, but those small factors were quickly taken care of. She had been through multiple flights from her lovely, but it was the first time she had risen at Selenitas, so Gina was rather unsure about what was going to happen. Keeping an eye on the humming firelizard, the girl sighed before letting her fingers and hands have a rest from the motions of pearling.
"Ha! What do I have to be worried about... its only a flitter flight. Its not like Dasmonth is flying... thank Farnath she isn't for a whi---" Cut off in mid-sentance as Argyle gave a joyful screech, Gina looked up in surprise to watch her smaller green leap into the air. "Shaaard it!"
---
It was time to fly! Shrieking with delight, Argyle pumped her wings in steady strokes to gain some altitude. Twisting and diving in the air, the female let her glow and antics attract the males to her. If they wanted to catch her, they'd have to come to her, because she definatly won't go to them. Survaying the grounds as they swept by underneath her, the lust filled green began to 'sing', letting the different pitches of her vocal chords reach out to all those that could hear her. Although her trilling wasn’t exactly the best that a flitter could produce, it was still rather pleasing to the ear of both humans and fire lizards alike.
The noon day sun felt good on her wings and back as it pulsed down quietly onto the world, filling every pore on her body with more dazzling green glow. All she wanted right now was a male to share this glorious day with, one that would enjoy the sun, the air, and praise her for being her. Picking up the beat of her song and the slowly twirling aerobatics, Argyle let her lust totally pull her under its temping wave.
It was time for one of the best chases of her life...
