Paddling her feet in the water of the river, Religna felt more relaxed than she'd felt for seemingly ages, Ith was flirting, alot, and it was driving her insane. She didn't want her dragon to Rise, not that there was really any excuse she could think of that could keep her dragon on the ground. Addmitedly, Religna was scared, she didn't like being out of control of anything, let alone giving herself to emotions like that.
Still, Ith had been flirting with the males for over a sevenday now, and she still hadn't taken to the air. Other green's in their weyrling class had. Calistoth, Jeminorth, Dasmonth. Religna would be perfectly happy if Ith decided she'd like to try something new and stay put. It would be nice, but what was the likely-hood of that happening? Like... Nil. She could hope though. "What do you think Toria? Think snooze-alot there won't rise?" Her beloved flitt had yet to rise too, that was entirely a good thing.
Kicking her feet slightly, Religna laughed softly as the water splashed. It was nice to be completely relaxed, not have to hide one emotion or the other. Hiding things was getting exhausting, but she couldn't just let her emotions show, they could be used against her. Glancing at the sleeping green, a fond smile curved Religna's lips even as Ith's body twitched. Dreaming maybe? Or waking up? Turning her head back to teh water and her green flitter, Religna only noticed that Ith was actually woke when the little green got to her feet hurriedly.
Growling softly, Ith's rapidly whirling eyes swung briefly to Hers and the little cousin before kicking off the ground in a fluid movement. She wanted to fly. Wanted to be chased. The males would want to chase too wouldn't they? Lifting her voice in a high, sweet challenge, Ith's body curved into the sky. Enjoying every moment that she could have in the air. If they wanted to catch her and Hers, then first they must prove themselves! It was only right that the strong males would want to chase her wasn't it? Calling out again, Ith didn't give thought to her panicking rider on the river's edge, instead, giving her whole attention to her flight.
Religna knew she was panicking. She didn't want this, now or ever. Never mind that she had been able to joke about it moments before, never mind that she hadn't been bothered until Ith actually voiced her challenge. Now, she was scared. Pulling her feet from the water, Religna got to her feet as hurriedly as she could. Never mind that her feet were wet as she jammed them into her boots. It didn't matter, what mattered was getting to the flight rooms before she lost all sense of herself to Ith's mind and passion. Toria had nicely dissapeared, probably back to the weyr, and that was just one less headache. Choosing to lean against the wall for some kind of brace once at the flight rooms, Religna secretly hoped that perhaps she'd be lucky and only one male would chase, or the flight would end quickly.
Hopefully.

Scamp, stop it, Bearinth grumbled from his perch on his weyrledge, aware of the salamandyr's incessant complaints that he was without excitement. Normally, the little bright bother was running about K'nam's weyr, knocking over everything and anything possibly damageable, but, for once, the creature was running around Bearinth in a bothersome manner instead of bothering His, which was not amusing the bronze.
Scamp, however, was not the least bit interested in what Bearinth wanted. Bearter, Scamp insisted, nibbling on Bearinth's tail before being flicked away irritably. The bright blue ran back and forth angrily, about to pounce again when the bronze's attention turned fully to the sound of a challenge in the sky.
K'nam caught Beairnth's train of thought almost instantly, stopping on mending his leathers to run to the dragon's weyrledge, to be met by a momentarily startled blue 'mandyr. "You can't be serious." He had noted Bearinth's preoccupation, had brushed it off. "Bearinth..."
Ith Rises, the bronze replied, leaping off his weyrledge and twisting in the air to head towards where the call had come. K'nam felt the pull of the Flight like a pounding headache, glaring down at Scamp.
"Stay," he hissed, heading up to the Flightrooms, getting there to spot a girl who was getting prettier by the moment. She was leaning against the wall, but she didn't seem overly upset. Bearinth's tug was getting stronger, and knowing that she was at least okay with it was a little bit easier for him to give in to Bearinth as he stepped inside and away from her, giving her distance.
The bronze dragon met her second cry with a trumpet of his own, announcing his participation, his intent to win. Her arc in the sky was stunning, beautiful. How dare there be no more suitors than he in the sky, vying for her, though he supposed that was all the better for him. His eyes whirled vibrant purple as he waited for her to Fly so that he could Chase.
Elsewhere, a vibrant salamandyr peeked outside of His's weyr before scampering off to find something better to do than 'stay'.

"No." Those were the first-- and only-- words D'vin was able to command to Hiriarth. Naturally, the brown wanted to go up after a glorious, dazzling green jewel in the sky. Toryth hadn't been paying too much attention to him lately, so what was the fuss? His greens always held a special place in his heart, but he was a male. He needed attention-- particularly of the lusty variety. And His was being his hermitty self again, so all the more reason! Plus, that green was absolutely stunning. What male in his right mind would be able to resist her at all?! Bellowing out his challenge to any other who dared give Chase to his beautiful maiden green, he pushed himself violently into the air. This was his day with Ith! Ith was for him and no other male! She was simply too gorgeous for anyone else. So he would fly, and fly hard, after her, to prove that he alone was worthy to mate with her.
D'vin, in the meantime, caught off-guard by this behavior, was forced to relinquish his mind to Hiriarth immediately. Unfortunately, this caused the man to become completely blinded by lust-- where was she? Stripping himself of his shirt as he ran down the hall, he peeked in random caverns in a frantic search for his glowing beauty. Sense of direction was lost to him. He growled, now taken to climbing the stairs blindly. He tripped on a few steps, but no matter. His glorious prize would be worth it. Shards, but not finding her was making her nervous, though... He needed to find her so he could prove himself! After all, she was the only one in his eyes. Desperately pulling himself along, he arrived on the next level of weyrs. Stumbling through the hall, he continued to look in each weyr for his green. So frustrating! He wanted to punch out his competition and take Ith-- but where were they!?
Hiriarth, in the meantime, had no trouble in finding Ith and his competition. Growling at Bearinth, Hiriarth, pulled closer into Ith's orbit, aching to mate with her. But no, he couldn't. He had to prove himself first. Warbling delicately to her, he remained in her close proximity, making it clear in his body language that only he was the good male. Bronzes? Psht! Nobody needed bronzes! They were too overbearing and harsh. Browns, on the other hand, were simply perfect for a nice little green like Ith. Did he mention that she was pretty? He crooned, making sure that sentiment got through. No, not pretty- beautiful. He needed to catch her! No other male could get in his way of it!

Only two? Well, that was alright. Maybe the others were busy - not that anyone should be too busy to chase her - but Ith could deal with the two she had managed to get. Such handsome dragons too, there was a bronze and a brown. Very nice. Could they keep up with one so quick and flighty as she was? Ith wasn't completely sure, but she supposed she'd have to give them a little testing to be sure.
Crooning in response to the brown's compliments, Ith trilled lightly. Pretty compliments were nice, and she did like them alot, but she wouldn't choose so quickly. Words were not enough to sway her. If he wanted to Fly her, then he had to chase. Simple. Crooning again, Ith flicked her tail teasingly before turning sharply away from the river where she'd kicked off from and in the opposite direction. Away from the males that chased. This direction soon got boring though, and really, if she didn't test the males, they couldn't prove themselves.
Folding her wings into her lithe body, the little green dove sharply, pulling up only when she absolutely had to, and spiralling back into the sky. How low would the bronze and brown be able to go? Ith didn't really believe either could go as low as she had, but perhaps they would prove her wrong, and perhaps her suitor's sizes wouldn't matter to how fast they could go. Maybe.
Religna was not okay with this. Outwardly she was the picture of calm, giving K'nam barely a glance. Inwardly, her heart sank at the sight of him, and even further at the second response to her green. She didn't want them here! Why couldn't they just leave her alone? Ith wanted the sharding males, not her! Ith's mind tugged at hers constantly, and finally, Religna gave in, allowing her mind to flow with Ith's. The males weren't scary apparently, they were good. They wanted her, or one did, the other hadn't even showed up yet.
{So crappy -headdesk-}

Bearinth became aware of another male sharing the skies with him and the wonderful Ith. He turned his head slightly, snorting lightly at the brown before returning his attention to the lovely green. A brown certainly didn't bother him. He crooned gently at her, not wanting her to get discouraged by the lack of others in the sky. Only the best, and that brown, had turned out for her. The others simply weren't worthy to Chase and certainly not to Fly her.
The bronze rumbled at her teasing, though intently focused on her movements. As she turned to fly away from them, he soared after her. It was smooth flying for a few moments, which only served to make Bearinth more suspicious. Lovely Ith would surely have tricks, and he was excited to see what she would do, what he would have to do to prove himself greater than Hiriarth.
Ith's wings suddenly folded against her stunning hide, his own copying her movements, falling after her determinedly. She hit her low point first, and how dangerously close was it! Seeing the green spiraling up past him made his wings thrust out, flaring as a thermal hit them and aided in his ascent after her, making up speed he would have lost otherwise. While he could fly longer than either his opponent or his object of adoration, he was not nearly as fast. Bearinth gave a small twirl as he flew after her, dancing for her, the single creature that mattered in the skies over Selenitas.
K'nam watched her, wanting her, wanting his green. He was aware of there being another in the skies, aware of the brown nuisance that stood between him and Ith, but was His not going to show his face? Even though Religna scarcely looked at him, he cared deeply that the other male wasn't showing. No one should shun the beauty before him! Sharding dimglow didn't deserve her. Not like Bearinth did, and certainly not like K'nam.
((Ugh. -is horrible- Sorry loves. D; ))

((*is worse* *cuddles teh randehsauce*))
Hiriarth crooned in pleasure. Ith noticed him! He could sing with sheer joy! Still, she didn't choose him right away. Part of him was happy, for he wanted to keep chasing her, to prove he could do more than just sound pretty. Then again, he wanted to be the favorite. He wanted to know he was her favorite. He wouldn't be able to stand it if she chose this ugly, hulking bronze over him! Browns fit greens perfectly, whereas bronzes simply were too large. He crooned again at Ith, wanting to be noticed once again. He would win her! He was the best of the chasers here, after all. Racing as close as he could, he let out a small hiss to Bearinth. He better understand that he was just a big ugly bronze who stood no chance. This was his green, and he would happily fly anywhere she wanted in this chase, and even further if it meant that she would be his!
Following suit, he too folded his wings close to his body as he began a sharp descent after the precious jewel ahead. He grunted, his eyes trained on her, purple with heavy lust. He would watch her until the slightest movement would indicate that she would move. He trusted his reflexes to follow her, of course. How would he be able to let such a beautiful creature escape his grasp to the fat bronze? He pulled his wings even closer, and tried to keep his tail straight so as to pick up speed. And then... Ith rose! Screeching to a halt, Hiriarth shot upwards, using the ground to push himself off of. It was an extremely dangerous move, and the brown nearly lost balance. Nevertheless, he did it, and it gave him more much-needed speed. Wasn't Ith proud? She would love to have a handsome brown like him, yes? Beating his wings harder and harder, he used his tail to steer himself.
The cold air rushed against his brown head, and gravity tried fighting him, but he would resist! This delicate beauty would be his!
Unfortunately, poor D'vin couldn't find his delicate beauty. Staggering up more stairs, he somehow made it to the top of the Falls. Blinking against the sun, he undid his shirt. His eyes were glazed, and all he could think of was where to find beautiful Ith. He looked around, but not a single soul was about. He hissed, and stumbled as he walked forward. Flight rooms... He squinted. Was that it? A sane D'vin would have slapped himself, for that was the weyrling barracks there, not the Flight rooms. Nevertheless, the brownrider was slowly walking that direction, and he licked his lips eagerly. He needed Ith, his beautiful glowing Ith... She was surely in this building!

Ith was very pleased by the efforts. Though the bronze didn't go nearly as low as the brown, they both tried, and that was far more important to the little green. Crooning to both, Ith turned her head to look at them, judging them as she did so. Such handsome males, lovely handsome chasers. Spinging on wingtip to twist in another direct, Ith let out a teasing little call there, could they follow as sharply as her body could?
Another sharp dive followed this, Ith pulled out of it rapidly though, swinging away as she twisted happily in the air. Perfectly content with the flight and her suitors. They were trying so hard. Such wonderful chasers... But who to choose? Drawing this last word up as she sprialled upwards before twisting to the side, Ith was actually rather surprised to find she was tiring. That her wings ached and she wanted to stop flying. Yet there was something else her body longed for, more than the fun of the chase.
Turning towards the males, Ith surveyed them once more, still uncertain as to who she'd choose. Both had flown so well. So very well. Things swung favour in both directions, size and colour, agility and cleverness. Finally, the green gave in, tangling herself gently with her chosen mate, snuggling into his shoulder as she twined her tail with his, holding him agaisnt her lithe little body as she crooned. My Hiriath.
Religna however, didn't seem overly fussed that her chosen mate wasn't there, if he didn't want her, then this one surely would. Ith may have chosen Hiriath, but it was K'nam that Religna pressed her body against, it was K'nam who's belt she tugged at as she stood on her tiptoes to capture his lips with hers. D'vin didn't want her, but surely K'nam did? Didn't he want the pretty green he'd chased, Ith chose differently, but Religna was past caring.

The tease. She was calling to them, trying to urge them to come closer. Well, Hiriarth would certainly try! Grunting as he continued to urge his body closer to the glowing beauty, he stopped sparing irritated glances at his rival. His wings were starting to get pinpricks of tired pain. He had pushed himself very hard in this Flight, and he truly hoped that Ith would see this. He had worked very hard to be with her! Then, having the bronze, who probably hadn't even tried to work up a sweat... It made him sick to his stomach to think of him twining with his green. To have Ith, you needed to work, and if Bearinth had not bothered to do so, it just showed how much he cared about her. He pumped his wings harder, to make himself go faster. He would do anything for Ith. He was pleased with himself. It was hard to find a good dragon like Hiriarth! You got either blues who can't withstand entire Flights, or egotistical, lazy bronzes like Bearinth. Well, he'd show them the best dragon Ith could choose!
Following her spiral upwards, her words drew him to her like an enchanted siren song. He would ignore his weariness for her. Her words kept him blazing forward. How he wanted her! But, for a moment, he was concerned. Would she truly take the bronze? Was she able to see beyond the majesty of a metallic hide to see the softer-looking brown? He was more eager for her. He needed her...
And she chose him! Bugling his triumph, he pulled her closer to him with his claws, both out of protection and out of desire. Nuzzling her head as he tightened his hold on her twined tail, he was the major force that was keeping them airborne. Though she would probably be able to help a bit even when tired, he was the stronger one. He beat his wings as he let nature take over. He crooned to his beautiful prize. My beautiful Ith, he replied lovingly.
D'vin growled, stumbling into the weyrling barracks. A monster had come over him, and he needed to tame it. But where was his little Ith?! Growling, he looked around in a panic and began to undo his shirt. He was in pain with need. Forcing his way into the first door that he took notice to, he smiled at the person in there. If he was human, he would see it was R'aro. But now, he was just an outlet. Someone to catch in Flight. Catching the boy by the shoulders, he shoved him facefirst against the cot, not even taking the time to get him in the furs before undoing his pants. Nuzzling and kissing the boy's neck, he kept him captive, and would do so until he was too tired to any more.

R’aro paced his room restlessly, it was so sharding hot! Just to add to the insult Idith was curled up on his couch fast asleep, and from the images his flitters sent him they were all sunning and enjoying the wretched heat. Suddenly R’aro paused in his pacing, listening. Was that a growl he heard? Surely not…
Abruptly the door opened, R’aro looked over his shoulder, expecting his roommate, and caught a glance of D’vin shirtless and smiling at R’aro. The boy half turned, fully intending to tell this rider just what he thought of that sort of conduct, and found himself falling forward onto his cot while he was off balance.
‘Get off.’ He hissed struggling against the man holding him. Idith! Help! he wasn’t actually sure if the young dragon could help him but surely… Why? The bronze asked curiously, blinking annoyingly calm shaded eyes at his chosen while D’vin nuzzled at R’aro’s neck. Aren’t you enjoying yourself? You dream of things like this sometimes. You enjoy those dreams. A lot.
NO! R’aro flung the denial at his dragon. This…Idith, your too young…please help me. R’aro was reduced to inarticulate attempted explanations as he struggled, panicked, and , curse it all, reacted to the unexpected attention he was getting. I think you are. Idith stated and curled himself back up.
((*Laughs at Idith*))
