Once Roxie went to sleep, Rawign turned his attention back to the hatching, though the green was placed in the bend of his left arm so that she could get comfortable. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to approve of that idea and crawled right up to his shoulder, then up to his head before curling up in the mess of black curls with surprising ease. Her darker coloration was brightly visible to all who glanced at her, a stark contrast to the true black of his hair. His eyes flicked to the little creature in Uu'n's hands and he raised his eyebrows slightly. Well, whatever it was, it wasn't a firelizard, but... he couldn't help but find it interesting, if only because he'd been sure the egg she came from was a rock. Maybe he'd be able to find the bluerider some other time and ask him about her... She certainly looked interesting. Or well, he assumed it was a her, given the fact that the creature was gold. It might have been male...?
Whatever else he would have thought was completely lost when the next egg hatched to reveal another green. Her behavior made him smile and he glanced over at Beggar on his shelf, but the blue firelizard had eyes only for the green on his bonded's head. Green, green, he had a green! But did that mean he would have to share his food...? He didn't want to share...
Scolding caught Rawign's attention again and he looked back in time to see the little green... mouthing off to the largest remaining egg of the group. Amused, Rawign glanced down at Marra's sleeping form. Oh, if she could have caught that, she probably would have found it funny; he'd tell her soon enough. It looked like the other egg didn't appreciate its treatment, though, if the way it cracked was anything to judge by. The bronze that the egg revealed drew his eyes and he raised an eyebrow. By the time Beggar found him, he could fly, but it was wobbly flight; Roxie, too, had been surprisingly a natural in the way she chased little Desdemona around. But the bronze seemed to be ... experimenting? It was almost cute, and he couldn't help but bite his tongue and watch in amusement, and a hint of condescending appreciation. He didn't know the boy that the bronze stopped by and frankly didn't have any reason to feel that way, but Rawign thought it was positively hilarious to watch the little one dare to snap at someone who he almost flew into. It wasn't personal, if nothing else.
Backwards flight actually made Rawign raise his eyebrows in worry and when the little bronze fell, he forgot completely about the green on his head to drop down in a crouch and lift the poor little fellow off the floor. He scooped him up carefully, though Roxie woke from his lack of consideration for her chosen spot and proceeded to scold both him and the bronze for disturbing her. Ignoring the green for the moment, though, Rawign checked the firelizard over for any signs of injury - such a fall might have hurt him! - and then held him close to his chest before feeding him.
"Oh, quiet you, he didn't mean it and neither did I. I promise not to move my head again while you're up there," he commented as he fed the little bronze, who daintily snapped up the meat with no regard for his green clutchsister's temper. Roxie, on the other hand, spat once at Rawign and then curled up... only to lay on her wing and creel in response. Rawign frowned and rested the newly hatched bronze in the bend of his elbow before lifting his free hand to help rearrange the green on his head, then he went back to feeding the surprisingly-patient hatchling. Silly thing had laid right down on her wing, how could she do that? And the little bronze - so patient and tolerant of her... Such a shame Marra was asleep and missing it! He glanced down at her slightly and smiled. If he hadn't heard Kaliran, he might have named the bronze after her, but as it was, Maris was taken and he didn't want to sound like an idea-stealer. But another name floated through his mind. "Li. I'll call you Li, after Religna," he whispered, the words meant more for the firelizard than anyone else, as he lost track of the rest of the hatching. Even the screeching didn't draw his attention back. "And we'll just have to hope she doesn't take it personally if she ever meets you, hm?"
Chirping quietly, the firelizard finished his last piece of meat and curled up right in his spot, content to lay where Rawign had put him. By the time he was finished eating, though, there was only one egg left - and it hatched perfectly soundlessly. Raising his eyebrows, Rawign watched the little blue firelizard in interest as it chose... Z'hin? How interesting. He tilted his head and smiled his congratulations, though the fact that the creature made no noise made him slightly uncomfortable...

Keliris, on the other hand, frowned from his spot hidden in the crowds. All the eggs had hatched, which meant... nothing. He didn't mind so much, though, instead standing up and actually walking forward to scoop the eggshells from the floor. Each shell was placed up on the table, where he could easily brush them away and dispose of them without having to worry about leaving a huge mess. He couldn't say that he was surprised, though. He liked firelizards well enough, but they didn't like him. Most things didn't like him. He was okay with that, though, since Kaliran seemed so very happy with his new blue firelizard - the way the boy took to his feet and bounced off excitedly was clear indication of that. He was probably going to go show him around to Salira, their mother, if he knew 'Ran at all. Keliris was just pleased all of the firelizards found themselves their own places, though; if any of them had gone between, he'd have been more upset. He'd expected to not be able to compare to most of the people there, though.
Once all the shell fragments were up on the table, he scooped them up into his arms and stalked off in another direction, without a second's thought or hesitation. They'd have to be disposed of, after all, and those who Impressed couldn't be counted on to do it - they were bound to be busy with their new hatchlings. The drudges didn't deserve to get left with that kind of work. (And he thought a lot less when he was working, so it was easier to avoid being disappointed.)
