Cosmos Egg - The largest of the clutch, this one is obviously a queen egg by the golden sheen on its sparkling shell. It is a pale gold, glittering with quiet intensity and radiating firm strength. Swirls of a creamier gold color run along the side, flecked with bright orange splotches. The swirls are reminiscent of the shadows of the galaxy, with the splotches as its celestial bodies. The warmth it emanates is comforting and friendly, beckoning the girls forward with a firm hand. It is friendly enough that it doesn't repel the boys even though they don't even stand a chance at this heavenly egg. Despite its friendliness, it is also quite independent and aggressive toward anyone that doesn't seem friendly. When people touch it that it doesn't like, it seems to get even hotter under their fingers, chasing them away from this golden egg.
Mercury Egg - If the word 'dead' could describe an egg, this egg may just be able to use it. The Mercury Egg is the smallest egg on the sands, cold to the touch and apparently has no feelings emitting out. It is a blank egg, and there are doubts about its survival. It is a dark brown in color, full of dents and bumps. Should the dragonet survive this strange egg, it is doubtful if it will truly thrive, and some think it would do better of just not hatching at all. However, Aslath has faith in it, and is not letting anyone try to take it off the sands.
Venus Egg - This egg is quite the attention-grabber in not only color, but it the feeling it emanates. It is a little larger than the Mercury Egg, and is radiant enough to outshine it. It is a brilliant, vibrant yellow. One might think it could be gold, but not only is it too small, but it is splattered with fire-engine red splotches. It seems to just be begging for attention, and is friendly and happy. It is nice and warm when stroked, and the touch is almost addictive. Once someone touches it, they just don't want to leave.
Earth Egg - The Earth Egg is a large one, one of the few large eggs Fath ever laid. However, it has a peculiar shape that bewilders many. Rather than the normal oval shape, it is completely flat in an area towards the top. It makes it look as though a part of the egg had been sliced off and left with an amputation. However, it doesn't affect the relaxed state of this egg. Anyone who touches it will be left with a calm feeling, making this egg quite popular amongst the candidates. Its color is a peaceful one, a mix of white and vibrant shades of blue and green. They swirl together pleasantly, making up for the deformity with serenity.
Mars Egg - Resting against the Earth Egg, the Mars egg seems to have claimed it as its buddy, its protector. It is calm, seeming to just observe the surroundings and chill with whatever comes along. It is of medium size, smaller than the clutch-sibling that it rests against, but of equal calmness that could almost make them twins. Its color is a vibrant, solid red, eye-catching and interesting. Fortunately, red is not equal to malevolence for this egg, and is showing quite the opposite. Many seem called to this egg, but the rest don't even feel anything that would draw them to it.
Jupiter Egg - Though most of the eggs in this clutch are welcoming, the Jupiter Egg is not. The attitude this egg emanates is vain, arrogant, and pleased with its loner status. Unfortunately for the egg, it also happens to be the largest egg in the clutch (save the Cosmos Egg, of course). The size is sure to draw all boys who hope to Impress bronze, but touching this egg will live them extraordinarily cranky after doing so. The shell is orange brown, uneven tones of it scattered about it messily. One large, blood-red splotch sticks out towards the bottom of the shell, and is the hottest place to touch on this egg.
Saturn Egg - To the side of the clutch lies the Saturn Egg. It's medium sized, but it acts like something much smaller. It would love to have attention, but is far too shy and frightened to go out of its way to get any. However, it truly would like some and would be eternally grateful if someone came to touch it, even though it doesn't draw anyone to it for any reason. It is yellow-brown in color, with the vary in shades making it looks cloudy. Dark brown stripes circle this egg, in long rings. Each ring has a different width, but each one is even and perfect.
Uranus Egg - Seemingly plain, only does it look intriguing when viewed closely enough. It is a light, powder blue, and is almost big enough to be considered one of the larger eggs. For some reason, it is able to draw people to it, even though nothing particularly interesting is on its exterior, save for a thin white ring that wraps the diagonal of this egg in a slant. Rather, it feels like a good egg to try and touch- it's warm, friendly-feeling, and has a hint of bravery that makes it even more attractive to the boys that seek glory.
Neptune Egg - The Neptune Egg is one that seems to be the most damaged-looking of the whole clutch. It is guarded carefully by Aslath, who knows that with such a thin shell, the Neptune Egg could crack under a candidate's clumsy fingers. However, if a candidate can sneak around Aslath, perhaps they stand a chance at touching it. In addition to the thin shell, there is an enormous dent on one side, looking as though someone crumpled it with the base of their palm. The color of the thin shell is icy blue, the shade of almost white, but with a bluish tint to it that makes it seem cold. Adding to the image of an icy egg, it is also quite cold if any candidate was ever lucky enough to touch this small egg's shell.
Pluto Egg - There is very little to say about this lonesome egg. It sits off by itself in a little corner of the clutch, watching the world go by in an almost depressed way. It is lonely, but unlike the Saturn Egg, it doesn't really want to try and attract attention. Since it's alone, it might as well stay alone seems to be the philosophy of this egg. It is small and a little bit more circular than its clutch-siblings, but not to a point where it looks bizarre. The shell is a metallic, dark gray, which fits the demeanor of this solitary little egg.
Sedna Egg - Amongst the smallest eggs, the Sedna Egg is definitely unique. Whereas its clutchmates seem to be much more friendly, this egg seems almost evil. Beneath the metallic black shell, one almost assumes that the creature inside is planning something malicious against the candidates. This repels most of the candidates, and only a brave few will attempt to touch it. When they do, it isn't warmth that their hand feels- this egg is freezing to the touch. This is enough to scare away even the toughest of candidates, and most people wouldn't be surprised if this egg was amused by the fact it scared away many people.
Ceres Egg - A small egg, the Ceres is the happiest-seeming of the clutch. It attracts many despite its small size, just with its sheer joy, innocence, and even its color. The color is a light pink, looking soft even though the shell is much harder. It is perfectly that shade of pink save for a long, yellow swirl that emphasizes the bright uniqueness of this egg. This egg draws practically everyone who comes close to it, and everyone feels like they want to Impress this little egg. When touch, a feeling of bubbly warmth seeps up through the fingers, making not only them feel good, but warming candidates' hearts as well.
Eclipse Egg - Behind most of the clutch, this forgotten egg is a look of pure loneliness. It hangs back in the shadows, unnoticed by most and forgotten by Aslath. It wishes for a friend, but cannot do anything to attract any attention to itself. This rather small egg is supposed to be a dull white, however, black covers the majority of the egg, cancelling out any potential luminescence the white could make. The black only reenforces the loneliness, and this egg is finally just getting used to the idea of being forever alone.
Comet Egg - Independent and brave, the medium-sized Comet Egg marches to the beat of its own drum. It doesn't call out to anyone, and is very grudging about being touched. It treats any curious candidates with indifference, ignoring their touch by not returning any feelings to them. It is a silver-gray in color, not quite metallic, but not a soft color. The closest it can be compared to is a normal gray stone. However, dark little circles are thrown carelessly onto the warm shell to mark this egg as unique.
The Touchings to be coming up soon!
