Clutchmother: Gold Darling .|:. Clutch Sire: Bronze Valentine
1. Star Path Egg – A shade of midnight blue, almost black, covers the bottom of this egg, brightening gradually as it reaches the top until it becomes a medium navy shade. Dotting the egg are small pale pinpricks of varying size, almost like stars twinkling in a night sky. It is located on the outer edge of the clutch next to the Red Star Egg.
2. Golden Glory Egg – On the other side of the Star Path Egg, this particular egg stands out among its blue-shaded brethren. It is a deep, vibrant orange at the top, lightening to a pale golden-yellow at the bottom. It seems to be the very embodiment of the sun, dark golden-brown patterns bubbling and swirling across its shell in intricate patterns.
3. Twilight Egg – Obscured in the middle of the clutch, this egg is a deep, dull orange at the bottom that gradually gives way to the blue of a twilight sky at the top. It’s the very scene of Rukbat’s warm glow submitting to the fall of darkness, painted with precision on this egg’s shell. A few ‘stars’ dot the top of the egg in the deep blue ‘sky’.
4. Moonlight Egg – A pale, dusty blue covers this egg from top to bottom… except for the silvery-white orb that covers the top of the egg. It seems almost to glow, casting a silvery light on the rest of the egg. Even the small white pinpricks below it seem to pale in comparison.
5. Star Sign Egg – A deep gray-blue provides the backdrop for this egg’s shell. It is smooth and completely even, with no gradient whatsoever. However, small pale dots seem to shine from within the shell as if they could cast their own light. A number of these orbs are larger than the rest, and seem to form some kind of picture.
6. Northern Lights Egg – Perhaps one of the oddest eggs in the clutch, this one is also one of the largest. Rivaled in size only by the Red Star Egg, it is colored in shades of green, blue, and violet. The colors seem to ripple across the shell, changing with the light and making it appear as if they’re in some different arrangement each time someone looks at the egg.
7. Break of Dawn Egg – Easily the smallest egg in the clutch, the Break of Dawn Egg is perched almost primly in front of the Northern Lights Egg. It is decorated in shades of pastel yellows, pinks, and blues like the sky at dawn. There even seems to be a few shreds of fluffy yellow clouds drifting across it.
8. Falling Star Egg – A deep indigo the color of the darkest night sky covers this egg from top to bottom. It seems almost fathomless, like the deepest blues of space. A white-gold streak stretches across the front of the egg, giving the illusion of a star shooting across the heavens.
9. Red Star Egg – Bands of alternating orange and red blend together across the shell, looking like gaseous clouds. This egg is the largest of the clutch, rivaled only by the Northern Lights Egg. Many who see this egg will say that it looks far too like the entity that it’s named after and hope the creature within is not nearly so menacing.
10. Starshine Egg – A beautiful cobalt covers this egg’s shell, the color of a star-filled night sky. Bands of paler blue stretch diagonally across it, soft enough to add depth beneath the small dots of ‘light’ that make up the ‘stars’ on the dark backdrop. Toward the top on the front gleams a large, even brighter ‘star’ that seems to pulse from the very shell.
