------- Thirteen Eggs, Deepest Fears Clutch ------
Drowning Egg - Dark Blue, near the bottom and a lighter, if hazy, sort of Blue near the top. Small round circles, almost like bubbles, start from the bottom of one side of the egg and get lighter the closer they are to the top. The pattern is eerily reminiscent to the harold image of something living in the deep... or else, trying to breath. Despite the ominous shapings of the appearance, this egg is actually quite peaceful. Laying a hand upon this little egg will transfer that feeling, although be warned, if that hand stays on the surface too long... the owner might start to breath heavily, for underneath the placid feelings, a constant wave of fear is being fed to the Candidate.
Burning Egg: This egg is possibly the brightest of the clutch, what with its reds, yellows, oranges and blues. Near the bottom, there can be found small licks of blueish white creeping up the side of the egg. From those grow halos of orange and yellow, which eventually recede into red near the top of the egg. Upon closer inspection of the egg, one will find small black splotches where the other colors seem to grow brighter, as if those splotches were on fire. Burning hot to the touch, a hand if left on long enough will be very sore upon being taken away from this large Egg. If one does keep their hand upon the shell long enough to even catch a glimmer of what this egg throws off, they might be able to discern the many fiery passions that swirl beneath the shell. Candidates are advised to limit physical contact.
Freezing Egg: Snowy white and chilly Blue, this small egg stands in the outskirts of the clutch. Almost round in appearance, this egg appears to be quite unique. If one were to draw closer to it, that person might be able to use their imagination to connect the five small and one large dot of a darker blue into a hand print. A quite foreboding thought to be sure. A hand laid upon the egg will be met with a biting chill, which despite the temperature of the room, might send a chill down the candidate's spine. But be assured that this egg is not dead, no, in fact the feelings it sends to the candidate is much like that of it's sibling the Drowning egg. Peaceful and tranquil, the Freezing egg lays waiting for it's bonded. But as with the other eggs, a hand too long put upon the freezing shell might lull the owner into a drowsy sleep. It might be a good idea to remove your hand, for everyone knows, being tranquil in the presence of frost isn't a good idea.
Poison Egg: A dull fuzzy purple covers this egg, while bright green streaks intertwine with the base coat of color. The green, despite being a vivid color, seems to grow fuzzy at the edges where it mixes with the purple, somehow meshing perfectly. A candidate could spend many hours entranced with the unique beauty. It might be one of the more less exciting eggs, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see those who seek a bonded to hover around this alluring egg. The warmth that this egg emanates is dull, much like the purple of its shell. But every minute or so, the warmth spikes to a stinging temperature which lasts until the candidate begins to remove his or her hand. But as soon as they go to do so, the dull, lulling warmth tries to draw them back. A vicious circle. Only those with the will power to resist the temptation of this egg should try touching it.
Death Egg: Pitch black, this egg seems as if there is no color at all to it. Near the middle of the clutch, this large egg sits with a repelling air about it. If a candidate dares come near to inspect the egg, the boy or girl might swear they see something in the blackness. Rest assured, there is nothing there. The Black of the egg refracts the light cast off by the glows, causing an almost mirroring effect. Little feeling comes from this egg at all, the only thing a candidate will feel from this egg is a growing sense of absoluteness. As if there was nothing at all they could do about anything and everything. It is a sad feeling indeed which might haunt you for the rest of the hatching. It is best to try and touch this egg first, in hopes that the other eggs might cover the feelings that are transfered from the Death Egg.
Rejection Egg: What could be said about this simple egg? Grey with lighter grey swirls, this egg sits silently at the very edge of the clutch, near it's sibling the Abandonment egg. The Rejection egg's appearance could easily be mistaken for a rather sadly colored rock, and may be ignored by those who are ignorant in thinking that it is in fact, an inconveniently placed rock. Less than lukewarm to the touch, a candidate may feel a strong urge to pity this little egg. Other than that overwhelming sensation, little else comes forth from that egg, as if it were afraid that the candidate would be disgusted with what it might give out. Sadness is a thing easily picked up. Hopefully, the one it chooses will give it enough attention and love, else the fear of rejection will never fade away.
Abandonment Egg: Laying next to the Rejection egg, the Abandonment Egg sits on the very outskirts of the clutch as if Millieth had left it there to its own devices. Black like the Death Egg, this particular egg has violent swirls of red and maroon slashing through its surface. Hot to the touch, the Abandonment Egg is not one to be trifled with. If the dragon within picks up anything close to joy, it will retaliate with despise and hatred. Many Candidates will get a surprise when they touch this egg, for touchings are supposed to be happy occasions. The Abandonment Egg seems to be feeding its own fears by repelling most that touch it.
Worthlessness Egg: Pale blue with speckles of grey, the small egg is buried more than halfway in the sand, hiding from those who want to be with it. Be carefull where you step, for you might accidental kick this low to the ground egg. If a candidate happens to notice it in time and crouches down to touch it, that person will be met with a cold shell and a strong feeling of desolation. The Worthlessness egg sends out the strongest feelings of all its eggmates, and like the Death egg, it is suggested that you visit it in the beginning, lest the strong emotions follow you for the rest of your time on the sands.
Darkness Egg: Black. A single word to describe this egg. Not only is this Egg Black beyond the color of a void, those who inspect it can swear they can see movement in the darkness. That feeling is brought on by the varying hues of black that lay on the egg, since no black is a true black. The light that strikes this egg makes the different blacks shimmer dully, enough to trick the eyes of the prying humans into thinking there is something there when there is not. Warm to the touch, the Darkness egg emanates a eerie feeling. The emotion is a mix of silence and fear, which ebs and recedes as if you were surrounded by the night itself. For psychological sake, limit your time at this egg as well.
Unknown Egg: This large egg is a shimmering green, or at least one might assume that the base color of this egg is green. Streaks of Brown, Blue, Bronze and Gold slash across the shell's surface so often that only green stripes are left. So is this egg Green? Or Blue, or Brown, or Bronze, or Gold? Its simply unknown what the real base color is. The second brightest of the clutch, the Unknown Egg draws attention to itself by coloration alone. Unlike any of it's other Eggmates, this egg is clearly amused by the confusion that it forces on the minds of the Candidates. So oddly colored, this egg will certainly not be missed in the Touchings.
Hidden Dangers Egg: Dark brown with black and grey splotches, the Hidden Dangers Egg is less vivid than some. The closer you get to this egg the more of the hidden pattern you can see. Behind the splotches of grey and Brown hide small slivers of red, only visible by the small crescent edges that subtly peek out from behind the more noticeable blots. Cool to the touch, yet oddly warm almost at the same time, the Hidden Dangers Egg gives off false pretenses. Reasonably calm, this egg will randomly become venomous (in emotion) to different candidates for no reason. It is almost like the pernese version of Russian roulette. You wont know which feeling you'll get upon touching this egg.
Snake Bite Egg: This egg is near the middle of the clutch, nestled a safe distance away from the Death Egg, but almost touching the Poison Egg as if the two were meant to be placed so close together. Almost completely white, the Snake Bite Egg is marred only by two perfectly round black dots, which are spaced to finger widths apart. It looks like a large snake of some kind had tried to attack and maybe eat this egg. Cool and almost slick to the touch, this medium sized egg comfortably reclines in its sandy ditch. Defensive in nature, the Snake Bite Egg will recoil upon being touched, only giving the owner of the hand a small taste of it's slightly aggressive nature. Once the unhatched dragonette pulls back, there is no use staying, for it will not come back for you. Move on.
Feline Attack Egg: Tan, like the sands around it, the shell is disturbed by four blood red, jagged lines across half of the egg. Making it look as if something with claws tried to rend the egg in two rather violently. This egg is medium sized and sits near the middle of the clutch, only a little bit away from the Snake Bite Egg. Feverish to the touch, the Feline Attack Egg is a breeding ground of fear and aggression. The emotions it stabs at the Candidate with are almost primal, as if it is only protecting itself from an unknown feeling.
Drowning Egg - Dark Blue, near the bottom and a lighter, if hazy, sort of Blue near the top. Small round circles, almost like bubbles, start from the bottom of one side of the egg and get lighter the closer they are to the top.
