They smell.
They do not - you're not even close enough to tell anyway!
A silent 'humph' came from Tserieth as Roselle continued on her way towards the 'Snowland' area. She did not enter though, no she had little desire to end up with a hoard of small children clinging to her right now. Instead she skirted around it until she reached the area set aside for those running the sled rides for the children. A number of small dog houses had been set up, each one looked to be over a pit dug out of the snow filled with hay so the canines could stay warmer and of the snow. Bowls of food were set out as well as water and while the rider did not take time to count them all she could tell at just a glance there were quite a few. Most of them seemed to be missing though, she assumed they were being used for the sled rides for the children over in 'Snowland'. Away from the others there were a few canines still out though, lounging in the afternoon sun and mostly ignoring the activities around them.
She watched from a distance for some time - their coats were thick, their bodies were built but not bulky, and from a bit of gray in their fur she guessed they were older. Perhaps retired from days of pulling sleds for screeching children and supplies? She wasn't sure but they were quite lovely canines and she found herself wanting to know more about them. Glancing around she kept an eye out for their keeper, but did not immediately see one. Moving closer to the canines she kept a respectful distance - while she may not have a ton of experience with the beasts she knew better than to run at one she wasn't familiar with. Movement caught her attention in the corner of her eye, and she turned her head a bit, "Hello?"
Tserieth continued to feel grouchy in the back of Roselle's mind, not understanding what was so interesting about the furry four-legged things. They are noisy.
So are you m'dear. Stop your whining. One of my father's friends had a canine in Hyphen, I've wanted one since I was young.
These are owned.[/color]
True, but perhaps the owners will tell me where they acquired theirs from and I can find my own.
The young ones are even more annoying.
Dark eyes rolled and she looked around once more, "Hello? I just have a quick question if you're not too busy..."
