For once it wasn’t Osnat dragging him out of bed. The girl was actually pretty good about humoring him and letting him sleep until crazy late hours, he could see the late starts to the day was rapidly getting on Oth’s nerves. It all came to a head one morning…and morning would be the operative word, because when Oth finally muscled his lazy ass rider out of bed, it was still dark. Careful not to wake Perienmoth, the brown pulled Au'st out of bed with a rumbling growl.
Unfortunately, Gus didn’t have any of the finesse of his draconic partner, and was most definitely disturbing Osnat with his whining once the dragon had been successful getting the guy out of bed and his face hit the floor. “It’s not even light outside you goddamn brat. What’s your problem!” All muffled into the floor as he grumped and jerked the covers off of his weyrmate onto him on the floor. Sleep too long. The brown grumped and growled, retreating back to his ledge to glower at the boy on the floor. Train now.
Au'st wanted to argue more with his oversized brown, but he knew Oth better than anyone except maybe Uth. The dragon was like a canine with a bone when he had a thought in his head. No amount of grumbling and whining would change his mind. So, throwing on some warmer clothes and a jacket, Gus mounted his dragon, grumbling all the way, and Oth took him to the middle of the weyrbowl.
“It’s so damn early, no one else is even awake, you damn lizard.” Of course Oth wasn’t taking no for an answer, slid his whining rider gently onto the ground and then moved off to give him room to train, ignoring the glares Au’st threw at him as he stood there shivering. “How am I supposed to train by myself?” He yelled at Oth, but the brown just flicked his tail and gave him a look that clearly meant ‘ You figure it out.’

Wake.
S'rring groans as a hand reaches out for Ithanna - only to find instead something silky meeting his fingertips. Opening an eye he glances over to the empty side of the bed, which was not completely empty. Atlas had taken up residence on the other side of the bed, surrounded by different pieces of lace, silk, and lingerie. Judging by the various colors and sizes, S'rring had to assume they did not all belong to the same woman. Perhaps it was best that Ithanna was in Ruatha then, and he had only dreamt they'd spent the night together. Batting at the salamandyr he was about to roll over to sleep again until once more Uth's voice boomed in his head, Wake.
It is not time to be up yet, if you are hungry go get your own food. S'rring shot back as he pulled the blanket over his head.
Wake. We wish to train.
Shards and shells, he was up to the 'we' again - which meant his twin must be up and att'em already. Over the turns the twin browns had gotten better about being able to be apart - though they still tended to find a ledge to sun together at least once a day. That was fine by S'rring if Uth didn't drag him around to be with Oth and A'ust. Every so often though, it was not simply enough for Uth and Oth to spend time together without their riders. Every so often they decided to be prats and force the two riders into social interactions. They were much better now than they had been in Weyrlinghood, but S'rring held no over fondness for the other brownrider. He didn't dislike the other man, but he didn't really like him much either. Still S'rring knew that arguing with Uth would get him nothing but a headache.
Standing he did some morning stretches before grabbing up his clothes and tugging them on. Boots were laced tight and he grabbed a jacket to wear over his long sleeved shirt - it was early, there was no light or sun, and it was likely chilly. Making his way through the Weyr hallways he could sense Uth had glided down from his ledge to the Weyrbowl and was greeting his twin with a happy rumble. A pit stop was made through the Dining Hall where he gave a friendly wink to one of the cute wherhandlers who was eating dinner before grabbing up two pastries. Making his way to the bowl he looked around and finally saw A'ust. "Figured you'd like some breakfast." Was S'rring's greeting as he approached the other rider and offered out the pastry.

Oth always considered Uth his better half. His twin was smarter than he was, and knew more stuff, that didn’t mean he looked down upon Oth, and the brown always delighted in seeing him. As soon as the bulky brown sensed his brother on the air, he perked up, almost bouncing forward in childlike delight at seeing Uth. Oth rumbled happily, greeting his twin with a swish of his tail, but no words. They were twins, eternally close, they needed no words.
Au’st couldn’t say he felt the same about Uth’s rider. Not that he hated the other guy…because he didn’t, but he didn’t take Au’st’s complaining very well, and he wasn’t that understanding about Au’st’s sleep schedule…which would be all day every day if he had any choice in the matter. He stood, glaring at the dragons for a moment before S’rring showed himself. He stood there, eyes widening in surprise when the guy handed him a pastry. He stared at it for a second, before taking it with a grateful “Thanks.” and biting into it immediately. He hardly ever ate breakfast unless Osnat woke him up early for some reason. “It’s fucking cold out here.” The brownrider grumbled to S’rring, hoping that maybe the other guy would reciprocate his discomfort.
His dragon wasn’t having any of it though, and he glared at Au’st with unfriendly eyes. Lazy, stupid. The brown grumbled, no familiar warmth in his voice. He had thought to change Au’st, when he’d made him his. Now though he was wondering if Au’st even wanted to better himself. Train. We won’t…tolerate. It was a word that was slightly too big for the usually dim bronze, but he’d plucked the word out of his brother’s mind, and it seemed appropriate.
And it was. Au’st could either shape up or get rolled over.

Uth gave a low happy rumble in reply to spotting his twin, bounding towards him with a bounce in his step that had not previously been there. His tail too gave an eager swish, eyes swirling a bright blue-green. He always enjoyed seeing his twin, even if His was not as happy to see Oth's.
S'rring quietly ate his pastry and did his best to avoid idle chit chat with A'ust as it seemed the best way to avoid any kind of disagreements. But then A'ust had to open his mouth and begin whining right away - at least this time he had a valid point, it was rather chilly. "Yeah, it could be warmer I sp'ose."
The shift in the twins' mood did not go unnoticed by S'rring even if he wasn't the one being bespoken to. Glancing to the two browns he gave a slight smirk as he realized yet again just how perfectly identical they were. Oth might be slightly more muscular than Uth, but that was likely due to the fact that Uth ate a lot. If he was not sleeping or training, he was eating. The difference was really rather miniscule though, and likely only noticeable to the twins' riders. Shaking his head in slight amusement despite his annoyance at being awake so much earlier than he had planned he looked to A'ust again.
"So apparently we are out here to train. Anything specific you'd like to work on?" Another few bites of his pastry and it was gone, so he just stood there looking at the other brownrider.
