Also, am I the only person in the world who is completely unexcited about the concept of a Pern movie? Its not even that I'm a purist, its just that I keep picturing it coming out like Sharktopus or something. Just full of suck.

I seriously want to see what they do with the movie, no matter what others say. It can either be an uber awesome interpretation like Harry Potter or a really sucky one like Percy Jackson. I'm hoping for awesome like Harry Potter because let's face it: they massacred Eragon and there is no chance for another movie with what they did to the ending.

I wouldn't believe a pern movie until you start seeing previews. They've been trying to make one FOREVER, that's kind of how hollywood goes.

Seriously? I never thought the day would come where they'd make a movie about Dragonriders of Pern. But hey, it'll be something to look forward to. Probably to laugh at more than enjoy, but hey. I could be wrong, I guess.
I should probably finish reading the first book before the movie comes out. >.>; For some reason I could never finish, it was too boring. But now I have a reason to!
