It was probably only the second time in as many months that K’roi had decided to take a ‘day off’ as it were. The decision on where to disappear for a while was an easy one for the bronzepair –the coast. The coast drew both him and Gareth in a number of ways. First off, it was one of the very rare places in which the big bronze could frolic in the water and actually be covered completely and swim. The salt did good things to his hide, and the pair could then get a nice rinse off and oiling in after. Secondly, the salty scent of the sea brought back many good memories for the Weyrleader, despite the hardships of his past life. It was calming in a way that he couldn’t readily explain.
Lastly, K’roi was keeping his eyes open for a firelizard clutch, as they were known in this area. He keenly missed the presence of his little jewel-like green, and if he just happened to come across a nest, well, that would be his luck, right? He didn’t have the heart to buy one… it almost seemed wrong to trade one for another like that, but if he was meant to have another, he’d come across a nest, right? Seemed like sound thinking to him.
They blinked out of Between over a secluded little cove that was fairly deep in the center, ringed on one side with lovely beaches and a variety of tropical plants and trees, while the other side rose high in wet rocky crags. The thick foliage of the jungle didn’t come right up to the sand, but instead started several dragonlengths back and slowly grew thinner, giving the whole area an open feel that was rare in the thick southern jungles. Despite this, there were enough palm trees to give good shade only half a dragonlength past the edge of the beach. Several small rivulets from a larger river nearby trickled into the cove over the side of the cliff, giving them a source of immediate fresh water in the form of a small waterfall.
The pair winged overhead, landing just at the edge of the beach, and K’roi slipped off, wasting no time in stripping to his under breeches and removing the flying harness from the bronze. Gareth gave a languorous stretch, and rolled onto his back in the sand, giving a good wallow while his bonded moved away to set up a nice place under the tree-line. Complete with a couple of blankets for drying and lounging on, oil for later, and a few snacks, the bronzerider dropped their few belongings clear of the sand, then jogged back to the waiting bronze. Gareth bugled happily to him. It’s been too long Roimine. We should get away more often to the sea. K’roi slapped the big bronze shoulder with a grin. “Yeah, things are settling down, maybe we’ll get more chances to do so.” Gareth rolled his shoulders, and leaned down for his bonded to leap up, strapless and nearly naked. Giving only a little jump, the bronze glided out over the water, and when they reached the deepest point, snapped his wings shut and dropped into the water with a mighty splash. K’roi actually laughed before he went under with the bronze, clinging tightly so he wouldn't be swept off his back.
They swam for less than half a candlemark, ending with Gareth sitting for several minutes under the much cooler freshwater falls, rinsing them both off while K’roi shivered on his back. He was quickly warm again as the bronze paddled sedately back to shore, the sun and salty breeze working to dry him before he even got to the blankets. Gareth stretched out in the sand again, both wings open and lolling in the sunshine while K’roi snapped open both blankets, shaking them to make sure nothing had decided to make a new home in the thick cloth, then worked to finish drying himself with one, frazzling his hair with it before laying it down open so he could come back to it later. Don’t forget that we have a long oiling in the near future to attend to. Gareth made an amused sound in his throat, clearly looking forward to it. His bonded smiled in reply, completely relaxed, and the bronze was glad to see it. Maybe his Mine would even slip into a nap while they were here. Faranth knew he needed it.
Still wearing only his under breeches, which were rather on the damp side at the moment, the Weyrleader started a nice easy stroll down the beach away from the bronze, his hair getting blown back by the occasionally stout sea-breeze. His mismatched eyes cast downwards periodically for shells, otherwise wandering the horizon and tree-line in an absent sort of way. One more good point about the cove –it usually heralded some of the best shells. He was likely to find something good to add to the collection of sea-things in his weyr. Driftwood, shells, sea creatures, he had several pieces of note, but he was always looking for more.

New friend? "Yes new friend. Like Condor, only Black and a girl." Runner! Runnerfriend new no bite? "When she comes I don't think she'll bite you Dash. Just stay out of her food." Foodstayout. Roger! Rogerrogerrrr. The fact that she had gotten another Runner was a miracle within itself, especially because her arm was still out of commission for the most part. As her fingers began to heal, she was able to regain some movement in them, but it was her wrist that was causing her the most trouble. The Healers said she'd be able to use her hand again, but it would probably never reach the dexterity she once had. Never the less, she was going to continue on with her life as it had been when her hand wasn't damaged. Particularly since the Runner she had just bought was heavy with a foal, and that foal would eventually need to be broken in.But Tika was the reason she was heading to the cove, she needed to collect some pretty shells and stones to decorate the outside of the new Mare's stall. She didn't have to worry about her paperwork, she left it in very capable hands... she hoped.
Hesitating on the edge of a rock, Kaegan leapt down onto the soft sand below. Careful Beautifulminelove! "Don't worry, I'm okay." Despite loving the beach, she hated the feel of sand between her feet and her shoes, even when she wore sandals. Crouching down, the Weyrwoman unstrapped her shoes, kicking them off and stuffing them into her bag. No wear? "Nope. It feels better this way." Feel better this way! Laughing as Dash climbed her hair, Kaegan tried to look up at him as he perched on her head. Betterbetter! It had been a while since she had taken just her Mandyr out on a walk, usually taking either both of her small friends or her Flitter. She loved her Brown, there was no doubt, but Azaran had been with her through so many experiences that she felt deeply connected to him. So it felt nice to just play around with Dash.
"Hold on now!" Smiling, Kaegan ran toward the ocean, leaping every so often as if she was making out to fly. She stopped just short of the slowly lapping waves, knowing Dash would put up a fuss if she went in without telling him. She had... dropped him in the water on more than one occasion, though he knew it was always on accident because she got startled by one person or another. Slowly wading in, she hiked her knee length skirt up a little higher, just to make sure it didn't get too wet. The water was cold but the weather was warm, so she wasn't too concerned about the temperature. It actually felt nice against her bare skin. Jumping over a small rock, she laughed as her Mandyr began chattering frantically at her. He didn't want to be spilled again.
After wading through the water for a solid ten minutes, Kaegan splashed back to the beach, much to the relief of her little Brown. Spinning in a slow circle with her arms out stretched, the Goldrider revolved twice before stopping. She furrowed her brows as she raised her non-casted hand to her face, squinting as a person appeared in her sight line. After a few moments Kaegan recognized the person and began to wave, it was her partner in crime so to speak. She hadn't really ever seen K'roi outside of working with him on business aspects. Maybe he'd like to join her in looking for shells?

It was just as nice as he’d expected, and hoped. The salty air felt fresher to him than the thick, humid breezes blown in from the jungle at the Weyr, and he took it all in with deep breath after deep breath, enjoying everything, the brush of sand against his bare feet, the chattering of wild avians in the trees off to his side, and the sound of the surf as it crashed in small, gentle waves against the shore. A sharp crack brought him back from his reverie with a wince of pain as he backtracked a step, looking down at the small shell he’d ruined carelessly. It would have been a lovely addition to his collection. With a renewed sense concentration, he focused on the ground and the waves as they swept by, keeping his feet cool and brushing away the sand to reveal more shells.
He crouched by a small dip in the sand, a gathering place for shells from the look of it. He lightly brushed the top layer of broken and shattered pieces to the side, practiced eyes looking for something whole. His search was quickly rewarded by a tiny spiral shell, of a normal looking white outside, while the small protruding lip of inner shell was cast in a peculiar lavender shade. Perfect! He didn’t regret the small size, the entire length barely as long as a single finger-joint. A wave washed over the dip, covering the spot he’d found the shell in, and he dithered there for a bit, long fingers searching for another small treasure. He gave up after another moment or two in favor of continuing his search further down the beach. Standing with a stretch of his back to ease it and his legs out of the prolonged crouch position, he spotted something further down the sandy expanse. Was that... yes, a person. Had they really found him so quickly? The distant figure was wading –maybe it wasn’t someone from the Weyr searching out their delinquent Weyrleader after all.
He walked toward the person, who now had stopped wading, and spun around a time or two before settling in his direction. He could tell that he’d been spotted, by the way the person held their hand up to shield their eyes so as to see better. K’roi didn’t recognize the figure –female, he guessed- until she began to wave, and abruptly her features became clear. He grinned a bit. Kaegan? What in Faranth’s name was she doing way out here? He waved back, and abruptly Gareth was in his mind. Millieth’s is here? The bronze questioned with a sudden sense of anticipation. Calm down old boy, I don’t see hide nor hair of her gold. K’roi replied, correctly guessing the reason for Gareth’s sudden optimism. The bronze withdrew, probably to make his own search of the area, but by that time, K’roi had drawn within speaking distance of the Weyrwoman.
“Kaegan, it’s good to see you out and about.” He greeted with sincerity, subtly looking over her bandaged hand and general figure to see how she fared for himself. He hadn’t seen much of her after the hatching and feast, just from being busy, but she at least appeared to be healing well enough. “What brings you out to such a far-flung place?” He questioned, smiling easily. He was glad the two of them got along well enough, and it lent credit to his more amiable qualities. She was a decent sort, as far as goldriders were concerned, and he appreciated it. If he remembered, or cared, about his unprofessional and somewhat scant attire, he didn't seem to show it.

Adjusting the strap of her bag as K'roi approached, the Weyrwoman offered him a smile. "Its good to be out and about. I had to give three different people the slip so I could be out here." It was then her mind tried to regress, it reminded her that she was here alone. Alone with a man. Alone with a man with only shorts on. A Bronzerider. No! She promised a good friend she'd try and tear down the walls she had built now that the one man she had fortified herself against could no longer hurt her. Her smiled wavered slightly, but she renewed it with vigor. K'roi had been nice to her, a genuine kind of nice that she could almost feel. It was, well... nice. "I could ask you the same question! I'm here to collect shells for my new mare's stall. I always decorate my Runner's stalls depending on the season. Even though its been raining quite frequently, its still hot out, so seashells and flowers are in." MEME! MEEE! She paused, slightly confused until she realize Dash was still on her head. "Oh! And this is my little Brown by the way. Say hello Dash." Hihi! I Dash! We walktalk! Funfun with Beautifulminepet! Nolovewater. But funfun with beautifulminepet make okay. "He's a little over zealous, but he's definitely charming. One of the most non-quirky mandyrs I know, thank Faranath."
Feeling the little male crawl into her bangs from her curls, Kaegan tilted her head back slightly so he didn't fall. She remembered when she she impressed to the little Mandyr, she had been on the recovery from Benden's Dominance display and had been going up to the stables to check up on her Runner. Instead she had been sidetracked by a hatching clutch in one of the stalls. Dash hatched out of his egg and proceeded to directly crawl up her leg. At least, thats what she remembered. Her mind back then had still been a whirlwind of fears and phobia's. At least now she didn't consistently stutter when she talked with unfamiliar men. "So, what are you doing out here? I thought I was going to be the only senior Weyrleader sherking their duties today."

He chuckled lightly at the description of her ‘escape’, nodding a bit in understanding. Oh, how people loved to question, question, question those in a leadership position when said leaders simply wanted to get out of the general vicinity. Almost as if the Weyrleaders weren’t just people too… He refocused as she explained about gathering things for her mare. “A new mare? How many runners do you have?” Further questions were interrupted by a brown salamandyr announcing his presence, a presence K’roi hadn’t previously known about. He almost winced. Mandyrs never liked him, and to be frank, he shared that dislike right back. Noisy, annoying creatures that had no good use. At first he’d been willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the new rule about candidates impressing them was in place for a reason. Being the object of hostile attention more than once from the creatures had left its impression on the bronzerider.
Luckily, his distaste didn’t show on his face, and slowly faded from his mind as the brown introduced himself. He appeared, for all intents and purposes, to be rather mild-mannered, if over zealous as she suggested. K’roi’s smile was still on his face, and had been the entire time, but it became genuine again. “Well Dash, nice to see you accompanying Kaegan when she goes out and about. She still needs protection, and you’re probably the salamandyr to do it.” Most higher colored males of the draconic species prided themselves in protecting those important to them, so he made an educated guess as to what would flatter the creature into letting him remain in its good graces. The last thing he needed was to be attacked.
His smile went back to the grin as he gestured back the way he’d come in partial answer to her question. “Hardly shirking, but maybe… avoiding.” He chuckled lightly. “I love this cove. Gareth and I used to come out here all the time because it’s deep enough for him, but since we’ve been so busy, we’ve had little time to come for a visit. He’s back that way, sunning on the beach. We’ve been for a swim already.” He pulled out the small spiral shell he’d found, showing it to her. “I guess now I’m collecting shells too, though it’s for my weyr rather than to decorate a stall. I always try to find a few new pieces when we come here.” His face took on a serious look for a moment, and he shot a pointed glance up and down the beach, free hand up to shade his eyes as she had done. “Hm, looks like you weren’t followed, so we can probably just keep gathering shells for a bit longer before we’re truly missed.” He grinned over at her.

"Well. I have two right now..." She nodded slightly before continuing. "Though Tika, the mare I just bought, is going to foal soon. So that actually brings my tally up to three." Kaegan had to readjust her head as Dash stood up on his hind legs. She couldn't see what the Mandyr was doing, but she could feel his pleasure clear as day. Apparently he liked what K'roi had said. Dashwatch yes! Dash suremake Prettymine okay! No let noone hurt. Yes!
Giggling behind her hand, the Weyrwoman loved how her little Brown believed whole heartedly he was going to protect her from everything. As her giggles died down Kaegan made a small noise when the Weyrleader produced a small white shell. It was very pretty, and the fact it had a hidden purple inside made it even more unique. "Its shells like these that makes this cove so cool!" Looking up from the shell Kaegan tucked a curly strand behind her ear and turned in the direction K'roi was looking. "Oh of course! I had Azaran make a distraction, we're a pretty slippery trio if we really try." Twirling back around, Kaegan bobbed her head as he mentioned continuing to look for shells. "Would you like to look for shells together?" She didn't remember the last time she had gone shell searching with a partner, the last time had probably been with K'nam more than a year ago. She wouldn't mind the company if he didn't mind her's.
I be back. Youstay. Stay with Sillyhuman. No wonder. Beback! I hunger. Watching as her Brown jumped off of her head and glided toward the jungle over the sands, Kaegan offered him a goodbye wave before turning back to K'roi with a smile. "So what do you say?"

His brow rose at the number. She was soon to have three runners all her own? Well, she was the Weyrwoman. There was no reason why she shouldn’t indulge in something she fancied, and if the endeavor to gather shells just for their stalls was anything to judge by, she rather liked her charges. K’roi smiled as Dash reacted favorably to his comment. Apparently this was one salamandyr who’d be able to stand his presence. Good thing too. He could just see it now as he was chased from his own office by an upset salamandyr on the rampage. The mental image was so amusing that he chuckled, just a little.
He reached over to tuck the shell into her hand after she’d seemed so happy with it, retreating a step just incase she decided to refuse the gift and try and give it back. “Here, you like it so, have it for your runner’s stall. I’m sure I’ll find more, especially if you’re as slippery as you say and we still have the day.” He grinned, watching her twirl around, somewhat surprised, if truth be told. What had happened to the shy, withdrawn woman known throughout the weyr for being afraid of men? If anything, the recent attack should have her even more nervous, but she seemed completely different from the jittery, uncomfortable person he’d seen upon waking from her Goldflight. Maybe C’leon’s death had released her from that tension? He quickly changed mental tracks before that one brought a well of anger forward and he scared her off. He nodded at her request, gaining control of himself before he spoke again.
“Please, I’d welcome both the help and the company.” He leaned in a bit as if confiding to her, despite the absence of anyone else who might be listening. “Looking for shells is terribly lonely work, but I’m afraid I’ve been doing it alone for years now.” He shook his head sadly to himself, ‘tsk’ing at his own misfortune before shooting her a grin as he straightened. K’roi then swept his arms out to encompass the beach in both directions. “The real question is whether to go in the direction you came from, or the direction I came from.” He pointed behind him. “That way lays a lazy bronze probably about ready to throw someone in the water, and that way.” He pointed in the direction she’d come from. “Lies a mysterious ride that ferries the Weyrwoman around.” His brows rose to accent the question that almost wasn’t a question. Gareth was still bugging him about where Millieth was, after all. Might as well find out how she got here while they were in that vein. He watched Dash glide off as he waited for her reply, curious. He hoped there wasn’t anything around that might eat the brown. Funny, he was already growing to like the little thing.

Looking at the shell that had been placed in her hand, Kaegan inspected it happily. "Thank you! I'm sure the Runners will love it." She found it was better to accept things than refuse them, especially if you knew the other person would be insistent. It saved you the trouble of contesting your will against the other person's, Dragon's or whatever else might offer you a gift. Tucking the shell safely into her bag, Kaegan gave it a pat before looking back at K'roi. Oh good, he didn't seem against finding shells with her. In fact, he looked happy too. The Weyrwoman laughed slightly as he threw open his arms in a wide gesture, and in return she offered each stretch of beach a glance, her curls bobbing as she shifted her head. "Well, hmm. Go toward a Bronze who probably wants to throw some one in... or go back my way." She tapped a finger to her face, letting her eyes flick from the sand and back onto the Weyrleader. "I had a thrifty Blueriding friend give me a lift. If they had seen that Millieth was gone from our Weyrledge and not return, they would know I had gone off. So there isn't much mystery in that direction." She had picked up the inflection in the statement, knowing that he was curious about her means of getting here. Especially since she was bonded to the largest Dragon in the Weyr and was incredibly hard to miss.
"Lets go back my way. I was wading for a while so I missed quite a large strip of beach, and then we can come back this way. The tide would have surely washed up more by then." Kaegan took a few steps to the right, but faltered and put a hand to her head. Wh-what? She shook her head slightly before adjusting her bag and taking a few more strides forward. With in a matter of moments the Goldrider stumbled and fell to her knees, curling into herself with her fingers twined into her hair. B-but. Millieth isn't... And then it struck her, Dash had gotten distracted by something much more tantalizing than food. She groaned as a wave of uncontrollable lust hit her. She hoped for both their sakes, K'roi ran from her as if his life depended on it.
~~
Meanwhile in the jungle, Dash was having the time of his life chasing after a pretty, wild Green Firelizard who had just happened to start her flight at the exact time he had started foraging. Good luck for him, and very baaad luck for His.

He loosely clasped his hands behind his back, smiling as she tucked the shell away and glad she’d not put up a fuss about it. “Your runners can thank me in person at a later date, I’m sure. I’ll even bring some new shells to add to their décor.” He kept a straight face as she ‘pondered’ their options, and he finally learned how she’d arrived. He gave a sage nod at her deductions about Millieth wandering off and not returning. He held up his finger in emphasis, ticking things off in the air while he cradled his elbow in his other hand, a very knowledgeable pose, if he thought so himself. Never mind that he was still moist from his swim, covered in drying salt, and generally untidy looking right about then. “Smart thinking on that one. She is rather easy to notice, whether it’s because she’s there, or the absence there of.” He gave up the pose for a more comfortable one that had his arms lax at his sides, swinging idly back and forth like an exuberant child.
He made a slight ‘ahah’ noise when Kaegan deducted that back her way was the best route. “Again, a good suggestion. No wonder you’re the Weyrwoman.” He lightly teased, wagging a finger at her. He took a few steps, following as she began out and not immediately noticing her initial falter in favor of actively beginning his search anew for interesting shells. He kept walking, and missed her presence after a moment, turning back as she went to her knees in the sand and curled in on herself as if in express agony. Alarmed, K’roi took the few steps back to her in a run and went down in a kneel next to her, his hand hovering over her bowed back but not touching her for fear of her reaction. Maybe she wasn’t as well as she thought. Maybe… maybe her mind had been addled in the attack and it was just now showing up. “Kaegan, Kaegan what’s wrong?” He asked, his voice low but direct.
She groaned, and he finally placed his hand on her back to try and steady her, worry in his mismatched eyes. This seemed… familiar?

It was like flightlust all over again, but she was the only one effected by the inescapable pull. She battled the feelings that she was receiving from Dash, a feat she would never have been able to do if it was Millieth on the Rise. But she only delayed the inevitable, she knew there was no way to stop it. She squirmed slightly as her thoughts kept shifting to something more primal, less civilized than she had train herself to be. She didn't want this to happen now! Not when she was actually starting to make friends with a Bronzerider. What would he think of her afterward? Whimpering quietly the redhead tried to cap her emotions, but to no avail.
Run, run, go, please run. But no, he got closer. Of course. His kindness was going to get him in trouble, and that trouble was named Kaegan. Letting her hands fall from her head, the Weyrwoman shifted slightly. Where was her pretty? She felt pressure on her back, it was slight but it was there. Looking up from the sand, the Goldrider tilted her head slightly as she inspected K'roi. That wasn't her pretty... but he was very pretty none the less. Reaching toward the Bronzerider she placed her hand on his thigh and crawled closer, nearly straddling his legs in the process. Offering her prey a feral sort of grin, she planted both of her hands on his chest and pushed with most of her strength, hoping to send him sprawling backward. In the back of her mind, she knew kneeling was a position that was easily upset.
--
Dash of course, was still completely oblivious, and would be till the very end of his chase. Preettylove! Dasssh is here! You pickdash. Dash loove.

His eyes flashed with worry as she whimpered and squirmed under his hand. His worry eased only slightly when she finally eased up on the grip she had on her head, looking up and around to him with something alien on her face. No, not alien, familiar. So familiar that K’roi didn’t immediately recognize it, distracted by her sudden proximity as she scooted closer to him, placing her hand on his thigh. She gave him a wicked grin, and it clicked. He’d seen that look time and time again on the faces of others, riders, handlers, petowners. Flightlust. It couldn’t be, he thought incredulously. It was far too soon for Millieth to be rising again, and he would have heard something from Gareth if, by some miracle, she’d actually done so. No, this wasn’t from Millieth, but then, who was it from?
He didn’t have much time to ponder further as she sought to take matters into her own hands. Before he could move away, she had both hands on his chest, pushing, and the abruptness of the move caught him off guard. One hand went back, but the other hand grabbed for her good wrist, trying unsuccessfully to keep himself upright. The move was too late to catch him, and he went right over, landing on his back in the sand with a slight ‘oof’ of outwards breath as he unintentionally pulled her over with him. Worried that she’d re-injure herself, or that he’d injure her, he scooted back a bit. All the while, his thoughts were running at breakneck speed. He though he knew Kaegan well enough to anticipate her reaction after she’d recovered from the lust, but there was no other help for her in the meantime. He could run, hoping to avoid her while she was under the influence, but the chances of her getting hurt were higher, and… did he really want to avoid her?
On one hand, he could ‘occupy’ her until it was done, and he would have the best odds of keeping her from doing something foolish or harmful to either of them. On the other hand, it had been some time since Gareth’s last chase, and he’d been so busy… his bed had been so very empty of late. K’roi was a nice guy, but his morals weren’t rock solid, and Kaegan was good looking woman. However, he just knew he’d feel at least a little guilty later for taking advantage of her situation, no matter how much he might enjoy it. He sat rooted to the spot, wavering dangerously with indecision while his morals quarreled with years worth of a rider’s easy approach to sex. If it had been anyone else, he wouldn't have even hesitated, but Kaegan was so ...fragile.

Falling forward as he fell back, Kaegan landed softly against his chest, there was a dull throb in her wrist but she ignored it in favor of relishing the position in which she was in. She moved slightly as he scooted himself backward, raising herself onto her knees. Shaking her good hand free, she tossed her hair out of her face, the smile still occupying her face. Placing her right hand on his chest, she let the other one hover as she tilted her head. Why was he hesitating? Did he not want to play, even though the game was oh-so fun? Maybe he needed a little bigger nudge than she had already given him. Sitting back, Kaegan grasped the hem of her dress and pulled it off, her hair bouncing slightly as it freed itself from the material. Tossing it to the side, the Weyrwoman traced her fingers along his chest. See, much better? Wasn't she prettier with only a few pieces of fabric covering her? In her mind, she couldn't see any possible reason to resist her now. She wanted him, and she was prepared to do a lot of things to get him.
Using her left hand, because her right was balancing her, Kaegan gently ran a hand through his hair. Oh and his eyes! They were always the first thing that she noticed about him, they were so pretty. Like water and earth. She pressed against him a little harder, her slim body rubbing up against him subtly. She smirked slightly. He felt nice, despite being a little salty and sandy.

She sat back up on her knees and reached out to touch him again, and he didn’t flinch back. He instead watched her, the question in his eyes as he worked to relax himself. His brows rose when she reached for her hem, and K’roi knew there was nothing else he could do. This was their life, and she was a goldrider who should be well used to the way their world worked. She would have to understand, and he wasn’t lost to lust this time. He could be gentle, soft, slow. He grinned, and leaned forward to meet her, encouraging. Obviously he’d made his decision. With the question of what to do out of the way, K’roi was free to enjoy the moment as she pulled off her dress and began touching him again. Fingers on his chest, and in his hair, and then her entire body was rubbing down the length of him, and he reached up to run his own hands gently through her flaming locks, a feature that he’d always enjoyed for their sheer brilliance.
His other hand reached around to her waist, pulling her closer as he leaned back, slowly this time, till he once more lay on his back in the sand, pulling her atop him before he relented to her whims.
