Names were not going to be named, but K'sel had been in a horribly offended mood. Seething actually. To the point where he nearly had left the auction before even standing on the block, but in the name of charity - a childhood sense of duty and righteousness lingered in him still - he stuck through it, harnessing his deeply ingrained hatred for the situation and mentally screaming all along, How dare she! The words reverberated with a certain black eyed rage and gusto that blasted like fulminating hate munitions that had sent down even Pettahth's spine the chills and dread reserved for one's worst nightmares, and let me tell you, the brown dragon knew to fight his rider's tongue, but not how to handle overwrought emotion. Attempts to make him calm down were not even an option...but luckily the necessity subsided as he manned up and grit his teeth through the sale.
Elysia at least proved to be good company and a worthy distraction even if he formerly didn't have the most favorable opinion of her. He may have attempted the silent thing for a while, but words eventually were swapped back and forth and quickly enough he discovered they were both a little wild in all the most messed up wrong ways. Growling, purring, hissing, and maybe even a howl or two... what kind of animal noises had not been made through out the course of the day? And for that matter what about their paws...erm hands? Nobody was shy about being touchy and a few scratches and scrapes against his skin were not unwelcome battle wounds. All of it was entertaining enough that he didn't even complain about having to oil Onyth in the middle of the day...it was all a part of the game right?
Unfortunately it was winding down, and he was reminded of grimmer realities as he prepped and readied for the feast; swapping out day wear for dinner garb rubbed feline teeth against his bare chest and it was then that he truly growled. It was salt in freshly opened wounds...but stayed on to burn and seethe for the rest of the night. Not to mention clash garishly against the rest of his dress: a daringly borderline feminine blouse dyed light pink and unbuttoned a tad too far for conservative tastes and an evening coat to match...pinned of course with the infamously unlucky chrysanthemum adorned boutonniere. Shard them all he didn't need anyone's luck anymore.
As dates are to do, he of course attended to escorting his lady to the feast and with cocky, surefooted steps he arrived at Elysia's door, a sulky bouquet he picked twenty minutes earlier (shards they weren't in love, he wasn't actually going to try hard) cradled loosely in his arms, and hands swiping at a stay lock of hair before knocking at the door, "Sex kitten, meow if you are ready to ride the tiger..." The tone was undeniably saucy...playful even and not particularly serious. Yeah, he definitely abandoned any sense of appropriateness with her hours and hours ago.

Elysia was staring at her full length mirror. Frowning she whirled around once again to get another look. Ick… It needed something. She had decided to forgo anything practical and had instead decided to go with a black dress with a plunging neckline. A far from conservative one that clung to every curve, with a slit clean up to her hip and stiletto heels. You look stunning my love. You always do. Onyth remarked from her couch. The dark dragon was sprawled out on the stone in blissful contentment eyes half lidded. She felt amazingly shiny and currently she positively adored K’sel. He wasn’t afraid to touch her and he had done such a nice job oiling her. On the plus side he had made hers laugh for the first time in a week. This automatically elevated him to Onyth’s favorite human male currently in the weyr. The green was under the opinion that hers should keep him.
“Tch biased beast.” Elysia said with a snort before digging through a drawer and coming up with a black studded leather collar. Hmm why did she buy this again? Shrugging she put it around her neck and tightened it. Hmm that was better. It would give him something to tug if he so desired. Just then a knock sounded and the greenrider smiled, the tone of K'sel's voice bringing all her playfulness back to the surface. Originally she hadn’t been to sure about her purchase but K’sel had turned out to be far more amusing than Elysia could have even imaged. The brownrider even made noises for her and she had responded in kind. Howls, purrs, cat meows, grunts, hisses. Really the rider couldn’t think of a feline noise they hadn’t made, they even included claws. She was pretty sure she still had a mark or two from him and damn if she wasn’t wearing them proudly. When all was said and done she was happy with her ‘purchase’. Striding over to the door the greenrider gave a long meow noise, purely for K’sel’s benefit, before opening the door.
Immediately Elysia blinked in surprise at the flowers in his arms. Flowers? No one had ever given her flowers before…She covered up her surprise by reaching out and catching the feline tooth necklace. Pulling K’sel towards her with that she hissed and lightly nipped his neck, before snapping her teeth playfully inches from his nose. “Hello Tiger. Wearing your teeth proudly I see.” A look of distaste was given the necklace. He could wear it, but Elysia knew where it came from and personally.. It irritated her that he was wearing another woman’s gift. But no matter she would soon make him forget all about her. Hands ghosting up K'sel's mostly bare chest she purred before taking the flowers and turning back into her weyr to toss them on the table. “You really shouldn’t have but they are lovely. Not as lovely as your outfit though.” Stepping back she appraised him and narrowed her eyes playfully. “You’ll do kitten.”
Stepping out into the hallway Elysia took his arm and nuzzled the side of his face, knowing full well he wouldn’t reject the contact. She had never played nice or subtle and K’sel didn’t seem to mind. “Lead on tiger there is plenty of time for riding later. Right now we must show them all what a mistake they’ve made by not caging animals such as us.” A bright and teasing smile was flashed her date as she flicked a stray lock of hair from his face. A low purr started in her throat. “Unless you have a better idea about where to go we should stalk for the Main Hall.”

Hmmm she meowed for him. A good sign, but what he was greeted with by the open door was even better. "My, my, my," his first reaction. All things considered it was a better thing to say than some of the other stray thoughts that had floated through his mind such as dayum and girrrrl, both of which were much too colorful comments to come out of even his mouth. Animal noises were one thing, but everything else...well...all other speech should be effortlessly cool in the face of the more crass members of the weyr. Accordingly he gave only casual looks at the woman's attire with not a bit of staring or ogling, as if he went to dinner with bombshells crammed into too tight black wrapping every night. Yeah, a totally normal situation for the brownrider. Still, notes were made without his gaze having to linger too long at any one place and he didn't overlook the fact that the crazy minx was wearing a collar of all things.
She must have been doing much the same thing because his own necklace was quickly caught in her hands and tugged even, prompting him to lean forward into her playful nips and although honestly he would have done so anyway, fear of the leather strap snapping was more than a bit of extra incentive. It was his secret however, and he refused to let her in his intentions with quick witted replies, "My claws too..." and the tips of his fingers were not shy about gliding along the side of her body to search out the slit in her dress. As her hands brushed against his chest, he briefly flicked at bared thigh before she turned away with his bouquet. If he noticed her toss it on the table then he didn't care, he was busy primping himself for her appraisal, "Thank you, and yours as well. We should win best dressed," as if such a contest was to be held at the function.
Upon being called kitten he purred for her, certainly loud enough to be heard as Elysia rubbed against his face and he snaked his hand across the small of her back until it found a resting place settling on the opposite hip. Returning the smile and even the favor of brushing away runaway hairs - oh Faranth, they really were turning into animals, they were even grooming each other now - he blithely responded to the woman's teases, "Oh I have all kinds of ideas Elysia dear, but I think that we can both agree that should we take any detours we might never make it to the Main Hall at all," was it a bit cocky? Sure, but the situation allowed for such loose tongues.
Besides he was only being half honest anyway. The truth was that it had been a long day, and at very least he needed a glass of wine first. Yes wine as opposed to the run of the mill every night ale, because he was a classy guy with an ultra classy date (although frankly the whole weyr was probably going to look at them as if they were a couple of rockstar deviants crashing a gala event) and they needed to have a little bit of ultra classy chianti if you were to ask him. From then on out he was more than willing to go where ever the night took him, but it all required him to first start towards the Hall, "Prowl towards the feast we shall," and he led on down the corridor beaming with all the pride of a prom date who was ready to show up the king and queen favorites because lets face it, they were there solely to fuck shit up.

Elysia would be lying if she said she didn’t adore the attention. It was something she thrived on. Because it made her feel worth something. Dark eyes half lidded at K’sel’s touches and hell if she didn’t lean into the brownrider, intentionally spurring him onward. He could do what he wanted, within reason, with those hands but he already knew that. She barely registered the flick to her thigh instead choosing to focus on his words. A short laugh was given her brown eyes taking on a mischievous light. “Best dressed. I like that. Certainly they will have to pull out all the stops to beat us Tiger.” Smiling Elysia tugged briefly on the lobe of K’sel’s ear with her teeth before shifting to position herself at his side. There much better. Purposely she nipped playfully at his nose when the brownrider went to brush away a stray hair or two before leaning into his side. She was quite happy with where he had positioned his hand on the point of her hip. Oh yes Tiger was definitely worth the marks and then some.
A bright laugh was given K’sel and Elysia waggled her eyebrows at him. “You are right you know. If we get distracted we are going to be quite busy kittens. I’m not sure how long I could keep my claws out of you alone. Been hard enough all daaaaay.” Nipping at his jaw line she growled. “We should definitely have some fun first. What would the gather be if we did not make an appearance?” Her dark eyes glittered in the dull lighting. Certainly less fun that was for sure. She for one planned to turn quite a few heads and damn it all if she was not going to drag Tiger along for the ride. Although truth be told Elysia was quite positive K’sel would be there growling and howling at her side. Wild child that he was. Two of a kind in a way you could say. Why had she never realized this before? Animal magnetism and all that certainly did not seem to be a myth. Leaning into her date’s side the greenrider let her hip bump every so gently into his every other step or so as they made their way down the dimly lit corridor towards the Main hall.
Solely there to fuck shit up probably was a very good way to describe current feelings for upon entering Elysia wasted no time in announcing their presence with a throaty howl. Animals on the loose. Yes perhaps it wasn’t quite fitting for one her age, but hell if she cared at the moment. Nope the greenrider was there solely to enjoy the night to the fullest extent possible and that meant no restraints.
Taking a goblet of wine from a passing serving drudge she blew an air kiss at the boy, causing him to blush and drop his gaze. Catching K’sel’s eye afterwards Elysia ran her tongue briefly along the rim of the goblet before taking a sip and handing it to her date. “Not bad but there has to be better. What do you think?” Dark eyes danced with her own brand of sick amusement before her gaze swept over the crowd. Where to first? So many choices. In the end she left it up to K’sel leaning against his side and ghosting her nails in a clawing movement up his chest.

It was hard to stay so serious when Elysia was howling within two steps of the party. Of course the stifled laughter was not directed at her - oh no, she had the right idea - but at the situation and the bewildered look of those gathered. In the background the brownrider could have sworn he heard the clatter of a dropped spoon or two but even more importantly the awkward silence of an audience who just didn't know what to do. What kind of vagrants sullied such elegant events such as this with the unseemly noises of wild animals? These vagrants, thats who! K'sel was not shy in sharing in the greenrider's enthusiasm, and threw his head back to add to the chorus; baying loud enough surely to reach the moons beyond the hall's vaulted ceilings. There they were, a pair ready to tear the party up and tonight the brownrider was completely unashamed.
If he was supposed to be offended by his date blowing kisses at serving boys then he completely missed out. He was distracted momentarily by the sight of the wine and was close to greedily swiping his own glass if it wasn't for the lovely offering of Elysia. What a wonderful woman, catering to his needs like that; the goblet was graciously accepted, spit lined rim and all, and ceremoniously sniffed before sampled. Of course sampling for K'sel was a much different process than for a real connoisseur, and after swishing around a sip he gave an amiable agreement to the woman, "Yeah, I think they're holding out on us...it's exactly good enough to not be offensive," and because it was so dreadfully mediocre (since when did he actually care about taste?) he finished off the rest in one fell swoop, merrily chugging down the rest. Hopefully his date hadn't planned on getting the leftovers because there was not a drop to be had when the glass was discarded on a passing tray, "We'll find something better," he explained.
Drumming his fingers against her hip casually, K'sel used his unoccupied hand to rub his chin and contemplate the limited options the gather actually presented them. There was eating of course, but he didn't know how appealing stuffing their faces would be. Not exactly sexy (although he was sure that between the two of them they could figure something out). That left the choices between dancing and mingling, both ran him the risk of running into some folks he would really rather not see. Unfortunately he had the feeling he had to face the odds, "I think our choices for the evening include savagely tearing into a whole wherry, holding some drudges hostage until we find the whereabouts of the good wine, chatting it up with our fellow weyrfolk and subtly insulting them to their faces, orrrrrr," and he thought this idea might have the most potential, "We can storm the dance floor and spice up the boring old waltz," not that he had anything against the waltz, he actually knew the waltz, it just wasn't quite as fun as whatever freeform shenanigans he could muster. Ultimately he was going to let the woman chose. After all he was the one who was purchased.
Any of her answers were acceptable as long as she kept those hands on him. If Elysia thought she liked attention then it was no surprise that K'sel was much the same. The difference however came in the fact that the young man was more frequently denied it whether it be the simple pleas for help at the healers or the not so subtle hints he tossed the way of certain women. Of course he had always chalked it up to being painfully mediocre in many ways, but tonight - even if it really was only destined for tonight and nothing more - the rider was content to savor the hints of his Fine Feline's nails against his bared chest. Tiger might have even caught himself purring again.

Elysia was honestly impressed as the sounds of their howling died away. Tossing her dark hair back from her face she was actually waiting for someone to dare to say something. But nothing came and an almost feral smile came to her lips. Be afraid then little mice. What did she expect from those gathered? Pretty much the same thing the pair got in response to their grand entrance. Silence and then the awkward restart of conversation. No balls the lot of them. Growling softly beneath her breath the greenrider let her fingers continue to caress K’sel’s chest. His downing of the wine had a smile gracing her lips. Might have to watch her Tiger. She didn’t want him too drunk too fast. Then again she wouldn’t be surprised if he had an extremely high tolerance by the way he downed the drink like that. No overindulging too quickly though. Drinking induced rough sex could come later. Fingernails just barely increased in pressure upon the brownrider’s chest. “Oh I think you’re right. Clearly they have the art of subtly offensive down well. They won’t be able to hide it for long though.” Eyes narrowing Elysia leaned into her date’s side paying attention to the fingers drumming against her hip. It almost had a rhythm to it and this amused her. It was nice to be this comfortable with someone again. Even if it was only for a night.
With obvious interest the woman listened to K’sel ramble off a list of possibilities. Was it terrible that none of them sounded bad to her? “Hmmm you give me so many delicious ideas to work with. Now the decision comes.” One finger trailed down to K’sel’s abs and then back up to his chin. “As appealing as the idea of tearing into prey sounds, I rather think hostage situations and face to face subtle insults are more appealing.” Smiling a smile that was just a bit too feral to be sexy Elysia purred. “Problem is that when it comes to insulting I find it hard to keep my claws in and Faranth forbid I actually make someone bleed.” Swiftly she lapped her tongue along the brownrider’s jaw line in a feline ‘kiss’. It was totally in response to the subtle purr he sounded. Without another word the greenrider grabbed her date by the shirt front and pulled him not so subtly up against her. “I say we show these fools how to really dance because such drivel they are performing is horribly boring and unoriginal.” Dark eyes met K’sel’s and she gave him an amused smile. “Come Tiger. I think they need instruction in the art of dance.” They definitely needed help in the fun department. That much was obvious.
Could Elysia dance in stiletto heels? Such a question was going to be answered soon it appeared as she gracefully strode out onto the dance floor with K’sel in tow. “I’ll let you lead darling.” Releasing his hand the greenrider gave her date a searching look and snapped her teeth at his nose. “Show me what you’re capable of.” There was a certain amount of challenge in the greenrider’s words as she waited her weight shifting to balance herself easily as her fingers sought K’sel’s and entwined themselves with his. Was it any wonder that as they entered the dance floor a good amount of people cleared out? Afraid maybe or merely not wanting to catch the insanity the two where clearly showing signs of. Still if this was insanity Elysia was loving being mental. It could only get better from here in her opinion. Welcoming the eyes on her she gave K’sel another challenging smile.
"Time to move Tiger."

This was so messed up. He got a mischievous thought in his head, and the dirty little boy was not above saying exactly what was on his mind. As those fingers trailed up along his abdomen he stepped into the hand, striving for the contact and taking the lick along the jaw readily. He was...used to being licked by now, though he wouldn't ever dare utter that fact out loud, he didn't need a jealous kitten, and mystery was preferred to gloating and boasting. Besides, acknowledging the licks from before would be equal to thinking of her. The one who had blessed his fresh faced, smooth skin those turns again. You know, the one who was going unnamed and unmentioned and unthought of to avoid the idea that she was also beloved and that once again he was just jealous. He wouldn't let someone pick at the scabs that covered his heart like that. His skin though, now that was fair game, "Hmm but I was hoping that you'd leave some cuts on me....but if you were worried about making someone bleed..." He tugged at her ear with his teeth, letting his breath warm against his neck before pulling away.
Too dirty for a feast? Probably. Not that anything like rules stop him before. As long as he wasn't endangering anybody or bringing anybody any harm he didn't see what the matter was. Especially since he didn't see any children running around here so what difference did it make? They were all adults, and if anything they would just be jealous that they weren't leading such exciting lives as they. Of course he wasn't completely sure on her decision to go dancing of all things, but it should be fun all the same, he had enough of a harper's education to know all the rules of dancing, but bailed soon enough to know it not be sacred. Rules could be broken. Would be broken.
Being dragged out on to the floor was a bit of an issue also, if only because he was stifled still in the steely gray jacket that he had so carefully matched to his pants and shirt. As much as he was fond of the whole ensemble - and even that yellow flower he had to decorate it - he couldn't stay all cooped up in it if he was also expected to pull the moves that would woo the woman. Standing in opposition to the high-heeled woman, he shrugged of the jacket smoothly and tossed it at a passing drudge who was caught off guard. Needless to say the poor boy teetered over in surprise and the rang of falling glasses initiated their song, "Oh look at all this space on the floor...how convenient, we'll need it..." assuming the musicians actually picked a decent song. None of this slow dance for teenagers business please.
Starting in with the opening notes one of his hands complied with Elysia's wish and entwined with hers, but the other one fought for it's spot back on her hip, confidently moving lower or behind however he pleased. You only live once after all, and guys like him normally never got the opportunity. He felt rare and exotic. A gentle push encouraged her to sway, and after all he was beginning to anyway. As thin as they were, those hips were going to move from side to side...
