He hated everything about this. He hated being stuck in a bed with scratchy communal sheets, he hated the shrill kvetching of the injured men around him, he hated numbness and the drifting of logic in between doses of fellis, of disjunctive words and phrases slipping in and out of hearing, of feeling too heavy to move or to speak or to do anything but sleep. He hated the pain, he hated being aware of every slice in his skin, of the disconnect in his ligaments, in the throbbing of muscle. He hated it. Most of all he hated missing out on simple pleasures. He hated how thirsty he was, but he hated drinking because he hated not being able to get up and relieve himself...Bedpans...there was nothing worse than bedpans. He wanted to get out, but his first mistake when he woke up was trying to move...
Stuck and sinking into a lumpy infirmary cot like a man caught in quicksand. To fight only dug his grave deeper...mustn't pull those stitches, mustn't leave your body prone to infections. Just stay there serenely and whirl in your artificial contentment, you know, the effects of this morning's cocktail of painkillers and the sad, sorry, consolation that hey, at least you still have your life. At least this wasn't Benden...at least they didn't let you go in the middle of the night...because let's face it, any man with a bum leg was useless and why keep around what you didn't need? Had it also been noted that Mi'rah hated the feeling that he was useless?
In thirty five turns he had never spent the night in the infirmary. He didn't know the protocol. (Should he moan? Cry out? Let someone know that he was still alive?) He didn't know how long he would be there, and he wasn't even sure when he was brought in, but he did, in that mathematical mind of his, sense the passage of time and even without a calendar to mark the days he still knew that it had been awhile, and healing would take longer still. He didn't even need to pull back the covers and unwrap the bandages to know that. Just like he knew the phantom pains running up and down his side...it wasn't enough to share some brain space, but he had to feel a little of that bronze's hurt too.
He had some comforts. Doppelganger kept close and curled faithfully into a ball against his neck proclaiming his adoration, Love you Rahmine, feel better no hurts.. but it was lost on fellis slowed mind of the rider. His head was whirling again and just about nothing was making sense....Get some rest again.. "I can't, I'll wet myself in my sleep and I'll never wake up...." Apparently his internal filter had shut off too as he was droning on to himself in his - thankfully - muted tones.

“Does talking to yourself help love? Need anything?” The sweet voice came across the room like a breath of gentle wind. Elysia was standing in the doorway looking simply stunning. If she did say so herself. A low cut red top showed off an impressive amount of her chest. Long legs where completely bare up to mid thigh where they where covered by a short black skirt. Knee length boots completed the picture. Oh she was gaining much attention from the patients. Which was her intention. Poor things needed something better to look at then walls and healers. Keeping moral up was important. A bit of flirting never hurt anyone after all.
Striding over to the bronzerider’s bed she leaned down and drew a finger along Mi’rah’s face flicking away a stray hair. “What where you saying now. Something about never waking up?” The words where soft and light. Frowning the greenrider sat on the bed, crossing her legs and fixing him with a look that was anything but innocent. “Can’t have talk like that now. It’s bad for the healing process.” She finished in a purr and winked. She had been very careful to avoid jostling him in any way. Poor thing. The greenrider wasn’t without sympathy for those who had been injured….well for the most part.
With a small pop sound Baron appeared form between to settle upon the woman’s shoulder. Titling his head the brown chirped once to Mi’rah before fixing his gaze on Doppelganger. Oh this one was very weird looking. What was he? Interest perked the brown stared unabashed at the smaller creature. Elysia raised a hand to stroke along her pet’s back as she continued to regard Mi’rah with a look that spoke of curiosity.
Hmmm. Not to bad. Oh she liked her men a little more fit but she would take what she could get. He was a bronzerider after all. One she might be able to puppeteer nicely if she was lucky. Revise that, one she would puppeteer. Her father hadn’t had much respect for this one at Benden. She remembered Mi’rah now, by reputation only of course. How fitting that he had come to this weyr. Yes Elysia had a reason for picking this particular room. No one said she was completely without an angle. As she waited for a response she mentally went through what she knew of him, up to an including his recent performance in the attack. Yes this one would do very nicely.

"Huh?" A racking focus. The red bled right into the black and for all the appearances the woman tried to put on, all Mi'rah saw was fuzz. No offense to her of course, he already had something of an cataract - thank you boxing - but that was his little secret and he would blame most of this on the fellis. No, no, she had a lovely voice, but it was familiar, it had an accent, it was... he jolted in his spot. For a second he was confused and under the impression that he had woken up from a dream, that he had never been to Selenitas at all, that C'leon would come around the corner, throw a glass at his head and call him a sharding putz. Such was the life of the downtrodden bronzerider.
No.
He hissed at the shot of pain. Jostled that leg of his in the panic before things came back together right. He was definitely in the South, everything from that silly nightmare was real...as grim as it might have seemed he still at very least tried to stay in good spirits about it. If he was remembering right then he couldn't have been the worst off and it would be utterly unfair to complain. Maybe this woman would know of his condition? She was asking if he needed anything, maybe she was a healer? The man wasn't piecing together the fact that he was in the very same wing as her. Who needed to memorize those kinds of things in the infirmary? When you were incapacitated like him there was the assumption you wouldn't be doing any dragonriding for a good chunk of time.
"I wasn't talking to myself..." he meekly protested. Because you see talking to yourself was just silly and Mi'rah does not compute silly things. He also couldn't compute why this stranger was being so nice to him. He didn't have relations, he had nobody close to him here. He'd be surprised by the stray visitor who might grant him a visit, but to be petted was strange and foreign. She must be a healer, she must be pitying him. Pity wasn't always the purest of intentions, but he'd take what he could get, "When can I leave? You must be here...you're helping me to my weyr? I can't stay here..." he trailed off as if letting her in on a secret.
Doppelganger took a peek at the firelizard. New friends?! New friends! He was happy to socialize, so long as he could stay close to Mi'rah. He needed to be touching His at all times you see. HI! Lovelies Rahrah friends? Make friend too? Nasty gorgeous and chirpy shiny? So innocent he was that he didn't even know exactly what it was that he had been saying. It just sounded good is all, and his bonded was a little too loopy to notice the poor word choices. The salamandyr offered a friendly flick of a tail before settling down nice and tight against his person again. Being close felt better.

Elysia watched Mi’rah with interest as he reacted to her words and touch. Her dark eyes narrowed and she watched him from beneath dark full lashes. Definitely out of it. Probably a product of the fellis. Shame that. Still he was coherent enough for her to lay a bit of groundwork. Even if he didn’t remember everything her voice and manner would be unconsciously remembered. Slowly she moved to place her hand over his. “Hush darling I believe you.”
Her words where soft and caressing intentionally meant to soothe. Yes listen pet. Carefully she leaned over to lay her other hand alongside his face gently brushing his hair back. “I’m not a healer Mi’rah. I’m on your wing. I was worried about you.” She let a gentle smile curve across her face. In truth she had been worried. He was part of her wing and like it or not her wing was bound to her. She partially blamed her father for that particular feeling. Wing was family. It had been ingrained.
“I’m afraid I can’t help you escape darling. I don’t think the healers would like that to much.” Eyes flicking to the doorway she watched as an apprentice strode in and nervously bustled about before leaving. “You’ll have to stay here for now but I’ll stay with you awhile if you want. I’m not busy.” Pulling away she began to adjust the covers about him. The mandyr’s words cause Elysia to raise an eyebrow. Nasty gorgeous is what that boy’s gold had called her. A sly smiled curled across her face as she ran a finger lightly down the brown’s back in response. “Yes I’d be happy to be your friend love. Do you have a name? My name is Elysia.”
Baron chirped from his place on his bonded’s shoulder. Leaping into the air he looped around the water pitcher at a breakneck pace before alighting on the bed. Titling his head he chirped at Doppelganger. Friends? Yes he supposed that would be alright. Flopping down upon the covers he trilled once and went back to watching the bronzerider. His was very interested in that one. Why he wasn’t sure but if she was interested he surely had to be interesting. Right? Right. Wings briefly flared before tucking back along his spine.
Ignoring the antics of her daredevil brown flit, at least he hadn’t broken anything, Elysia finished her work straightening Mi’rah’s covers and brushed her lips across his forehead. “Now darling is there anything you need right now?” Come into my web little one. Her voice was soft and sweet yes. But her intentions where anything but innocent.

Being told he was believed only made him that much more sure that he was in fact talking out loud, but then, there wasn't a whole lot that could be done about that was there? That was when the woman put her hand on his and somehow he ignored all instincts that told him to withdraw. Actually, he sought comfort in the face of so much vulnerability and tried to twine his much larger and clumsier fingers with hers. He needed this. He didn't know why...but it was good to be worried for considering he only knew how to worry about everyone else. Without time to think about what felt right versus what felt good, he just closed his eyes and let his lips curl into a catish grin, nearly purring in approval. He didn't have to tell her that she could stay, it was obvious enough that she was welcome to keep him company, "Just don't be offended when I...if I...fall asleep?" Leave it to him to keep up all of that politeness.
"That feels nice..." he admitted to her as she practically played his his hair. Since all men were essentially canines at their core, a nice little scratch or rub around is head was just like heaven. She just needed to keep going and he'd be like wet clay for her. On a base level he understood that yielding so readily was bad...very bad...since she did reveal herself to be Elysia, one of those sent over by J'lorin-run Benden. Mi'rah had a lot of hang ups about this, but it was too deep and too intricate to delve into now. Loyalties and internal politics were just something he'd have to deal with later when lucid and awake, for now he felt it prudent to reap what he deserved. Maybe it wouldn't be bad to just enjoy getting some positive attention once in a while?
And really Mi'rah didn't have much of a choice at all considering Doppelganger just adored her now. Behold the baggage that came along with having such a tight bond to the little salamandyr. The brown trilled happily at the greenrider and flared his frill out of friendliness, Doppelganger name yes yes. Call Doppel for friendssss pretty Ely love. Love youuuu~. Yes, he liked her so, so much. She was very nice to His and himself, and he showed his affection by licking the woman's hand. It didn't actually taste as yummy as he thought it would, but he'd lie and say otherwise as not to hurt any feelings. Taste good lovie yes! Rahrah should taste too... Why the greenrider was putting her lip on His, so why shouldn't his do the same?
"Needs..." he trailed off not knowing the difference between that and wants at the moment. He supposed he was in no state to understand what it is that he really needed. The healers would take care of that aspect right? What he wanted he couldn't have...so what would it be...."I'm just awfully sore.." he noted without much thought. Fellis might have been wearing off or maybe he just wanted her to go back to touching him some more. Betting on the latter was the safer choice. Would he owe her later? Most definitely. Did he realize what exactly that would entail? Not at all.

Elysia smiled softly as Mi’rah sought to entwine his fingers with hers. Just perfect. She could have purred in delight. Oh this was becoming too easy. Idly she let her fingers caress his palm, keeping them entwined. At the words she continued stroking his hair with her other hand, massaging his scalp gently with her fingertips. She was being careful to avoid scratching him with her nails. “I won’t get offended darling. Sleep if you want. I’ll be here. I promise.” She cooed. “Poor thing. Sleep is good for you. Haven’t you had anyone else to keep you company?” The greenrider knew he hadn’t but she was making small talk now. Trying to get him to open up a bit. Fellis was a good way to loosen tongues and soften barriers.
As the bronzerider practically melted under her touch Elysia increased the pressure to his scalp a bit. A few moments of that and then she left off and moved her hand down to massage his neck. “Poor thing you are so tense. Relax, your safe now.” Dark eyes flitted up to his face to gauge his reactions. Oh yes it was clear that he liked that. “I’m glad I came to see you.” The greenrider remarked in a light tone. “Everyone deserves company.”
Baron yawned and continued to watch the interaction between riders. It wasn’t terribly interesting but his seemed to like the other well enough. Or at least he thought she did. The brown was a little confused because his seemed to be playing as well. He wasn’t sure what kind of game she was playing, but it was fast becoming uninteresting. Instead he turned to watch the mandyr lick at Elysia’s fingers where they where intertwined with Mi’rah’s. The comment about his bonded tasting good drew a croon from the flit. Oh he thought she did as well. With a final soft chirp he hunkered down into the blankets and lidded his eyes. His didn’t seem to be leaving anytime soon. Might as well nap here while he was comfortable.
Elysia regarded Doppelganger with a light smile. Oh his little one was just too precious. Much better than that horrible gold the boy owned. This brown was not only nice, but cute. One soft spot the greenrider owned was for pets. She had never been allowed her own at Benden. Not even a puppy. Her father had been firm on that aspect. Now that she was allowed them she was intrigued by them. “Well then Dopple, friends we will be.” She promised extending a finger to rub his tiny head as he licked her. “Love you to, little love.” As for Mi’rah tasting her, well maybe that would come to pass eventually. The bronzerider was very out of it currently. She would rather kiss him when he could actually remember it.
She moved her attention from the mandyr to Mi’rah as the man spoke again. Smiling Elysia disengaged their hands to move both hands to his face. Stroking alongside his jaw she spoke. “Do you need more fellis? Where are you hurting.” Standing was getting rather tiresome actually. Softly she sat on the edge of the bed and scanned the bedside table. Surely there had to be some means of calling a healer when a patient needed one.

Don't. Stop. The message felt soooo good. He couldn't remember the last time he was so doted on. He definitely hadn't gotten treated like this since being up in the north. When she moved down to his neck she was in. He'd keep her around as long as she could do that for him. Those muscles there had been knotted for turns, he didn't know what it was like to not have them tense and strained from all the fretting he did. After she left he'd probably become all bound up and stressed again, but for now this was good. Very, very, good. He opened his eyes and tried to look into her own despite his foggy vision and spinning head. So pleading and so thankful he was.
"Uhm...nobody has visited me...yet...that I know of..." he was holding out hope that maybe he had and been asleep through it. If they hadn't visited then at very least it might have been a plan? "I mean. I'm sure people are busy re-adjusting to life. I wouldn't ...I - I mean, I'm not important enough to take away from business...." This made him realie he didn't really know the state of the weyr either. Sure he could ask Kierjaarth, but the bronze was slumbering as well, and he was pretty sure that the dragon was beaten just as badly as himself. Maybe he could ask Elysia? "How is the Weyr? Uhm...that sounds stupid..." he didn't like how the question rolled off the tongue. Made him sound like a simpleton.
Then...wait...why was she glad to see him? It wasn't because everyone deserved company was it? That seemed too convenient of a reason. He'd have to ask her later though. He couldn't help but listen in on the woman talk to his salamandyr. He'd tell her that Doppel liked her, but that should have been obvious enough, the brown was soooo fascinated by the woman. Ely-love take care of Rahmine pleaseee~
"I hurt...everywhere," it was funny how that happened. It wasn't like the rest of him was attacked, there was only a few burns on him, but they were just superficial and a little annoying. Nothing that wouldn't heal in time. Still, he felt like he had been in one spot too long. His back hurt, his shoulders, his head, and his legs, but that one was obvious. He even had pangs in his stomach, but that could have been hunger. Who knew when he last ate? He certainly didn't remember, "I - I don't need fellis...I'm just being whiney," he tried to smile at her. Trying to keep his spirits up was a hard task, but he was willing to try it. Nobody liked to hear a whiner. He noticed her looking around for something as she gingerly sat on his bed, "They really need a chair in here....I think they just assumed nobody would come by for me."

Mi’rah needn’t worry. Elysia had no intention of stopping anytime soon. Instead she let him speak as her hands expertly worked out the knots in his neck and shoulders. Her eyes held his briefly before a smile spread across her face and she broke off eye contact to think. He just had to look so sharding thankful. It made it hard not to enjoy what she was doing. Heartless bitch she may be sometimes, but she wasn’t quite that heartless. His pleading gaze made her heart constrict. Did he have to look so much like a puppy? Had to distance herself, weyr talk worked. “No it doesn’t sound stupid.” She paused in her work to think. What could she say without unintentionally upsetting him. Hmmmm. Best just stick to a few facts and leave it at that for the moment.
“Well the Main Hall exploded. Although S’rei planned that. Worst dragon injury there was Aonith. She might be grounded for a decent length of time.” Pausing she mentally calculated. “Worst human injury was K’lir. He is blind now. No deaths besides the enemy there.” Trailing off the greenrider began to massage the bronzerider’s shoulder’s again. “There where a few casualties elsewhere at both and sands and infirmary. Nothing catastrophic but the weyr is slowly piecing itself together. I could go into a full fledged report if you want, but it would take awhile and you would be likely to forget most of it. What with the fellis and all.” Nodding decisively Elysia wiggled her fingers at Doppelganger glad for his interruption. “Of course I will take care of yours silly.” Well as long as she could control him anyway, but the mandyr needn’t trouble his tiny little head on such matters.
Mi’rah’s stuttering that he wasn’t exactly important was ignored for the most part, although she did click her tongue and make a brief comment. “Nonsense your just as important as anything else. Hush now.”Kneading his shoulders and neck Elysia shifted a bit so she wasn’t so uncomfortable. “You are hurt and therefore entitled to a bit of whining. If you didn’t whine the healers would worry more. Trust me.” They would to. If the patient wasn’t complaining they tended to hover more. Just one of those things you randomly notice as a visitor.
“I could go steal a chair from somewhere but I’m fine where I am.” She was to. It wasn’t that awkward. “I’m afraid I can’t take away all your pains darling but I can at least make you a bit more comfortable. Just let me know if you need anything else. I’d be glad to help while I’m here.” Playing nursemaid would eventually be worth it she was sure. It had better be anyway.

If he wasn't so content having his neck and shoulders rubbed he would have cocked a curious eyebrow at the idea of S'rei planning to have something like the main hall blow up. He wasn't going to question it because it probably wasn't his business to, but that didn't make him any less intrigued as to what the goal behind it was. It hurt to think too much though, and he let the subject mostly go, only commenting with a, "That's too bad..." and then mumbling something about, "s-shouldn't have weyrs in trees," normally he wouldn't be so mean as to say something like that, especially when it could offend some poor southerner, but he really had no control over his mouth at the moment.
"N-no need..." he was referring to the full report of course. If it was anything that important he would find out. Of course the spark notes version Elysia gave did explain to him why there was a distinct lack of food around. Not that he would dare eat in front of anybody, much less a girl. He'd rather let people think he starved than even eat a morsel around someone who could make fun of him for it. It never failed, and for that reason he would wait for the greenrider to leave before even thinking about asking for some soup.
He didn't even bother to shift. He was nice and snug in his blankets...tucked in like when he was a kid. He didn't exactly know what to do with his hands considering they were now being left alone, so he pulled them back so they grasped the edge of his covers and closed his blue eyes again. That didn't mean he was falling asleep. Oh no, that would be rude regardless of what the woman said, so he tried to keep up conversation as best he could, "I don't know how I can ever thank you for this," with his soul probably, but who really knew?
I do not like this one who is caring for you. She is not a healer like Jingth's, she does not want to fix you... His dragon woke for a moment and spied in on his rider's mind. Nothing unusual for him, the bronze often peeked in at the most inopportune times. This was one of those. As a result the rider made the mistake of responding out loud, "Oh you're just being paranoid..." I am looking out for you. Nothing comes for free.

Elysia nodded quietly at the bronzer’s remarks. Yes weyrs in trees. It was very stupid. Thankfully just about the whole weyr had moved out of them. The candidate barracks was the only structure still tree bound. Although she was sure they where planning to move it. To leave it where it stood was insanity. Really whoever came up with the concept in the first place had been asking for trouble. Stone had always been the safe way to go. It couldn’t get eaten by thread or burned by fire.
She hummed lightly as she worked and smiled down as he said something about repaying her. Oh he would. She would make sure of that. Instead she tilted her head lightly and have a small chuckle. “Silly darling. You don’t have to thank me. Everyone needs a friend right?” The greenrider watched in rapt attention as Mi’rah’s face blanked in the manner that indicted dragon speech. Drat. Bronze was getting in on the conversation. What exactly was he saying though?
The Benden woman listened as her prey mumbled something about being paranoid. So the big shiny boy thought to meddle? It irked her a bit really. She had been doing so well to. For a moment Elysia considered trying to get Onyth to distract the man’s dragon. That idea was quickly scraped however. It would only make her seem more suspicious. Hmmm. Putting on a curious face she paused in her work. “Is there something wrong?” She asked sweetly.
Maybe if she played it right she could negate the bronze’s attempts at interference. Acting all upset and hurt usually worked but Elysia couldn’t act upset until she knew for sure what the bronze was complaining about. It was touch and go and she had to be careful not to pit rider and dragon against each other. That rarely ended well. To bad Kierjaarth was the protective type. She preferred the dragons who let theirs make their own mistakes. Sigh.

"I suppose so...though...no. Not everyone needs a friend. They are just nice to have...and some people...some people its better that they don't have one at all...it's all so debatable," Mi'rah noted. Not that he really meant to get into a discussion about it, maybe he should change the subject or something? Well he didn't really need to as it turned out. She stopped messaging him. She stopped making him feel good. This was inexcusable, it would be soooo hard to forgive the bronze dragon for causing this. His jaw was trembling as he had to come up with a lie to tell.
"Nothing. I'm just..." he open and closed his eyes and swallowed. He could fake his way through situations too. The only difference was in the motives, "Kierjaarth is not happy about his burns and scars. Thinks the healing process is too itchy..." it was reasonable enough to believe. He himself would be scratching at some of his stitches if they weren't so tender. It was probably time for someone to change the bandages, but this wasn't about him now was it? "He'll be fine, really...he's just being whiney too I guess?" Nervous laugh. One could imagine that if the Pernese had glasses he would be pushing them back up the bridge of his nose then and there.
My stitches don't itch that much thank you. Stop lying. Fall back asleep or I will tell her what you said earlier about peeing and the bedpans...[/i] "You wouldn't..." Watch me... The dragon was not above speaking to others if it was to save the skin of her rider. Mi'rah needed to be protected because he was too generous and too smart to realize when he was in the midst of a bad situation. He wasn't going to jump to extremes, but he was going to let His know that he really did mean business and he would not share authority over him. I don't know if you find this so darling....Mine sometimes drools in his sleep. It is so funny, tell her about it mine...
"I was d-drinking...it doesn't count when you're...ohh," it wasn't fair. He just wanted to throw up at this point. Maybe he really should just go to bed. He was suddenly much more distressed than he had planned on being.

Elysia prided herself on being able to read people. It was something she had always been good at. Mi’rah’s obvious discomfort and pause just screamed that he was groping for a lie. Sigh. Fixing a concerned look on her face she squeezed his shoulder once and smiled softly. To go with it or not. Hmm. Finally she decided it wouldn’t hurt to roll with the situation. “Oh is that all? Poor Kierjaarth. I hope he wasn’t hurt too badly. My Onyth got a nasty hip wound but it is healing quite nicely. She is quite the patient girl.” She trailed off at his obvious nervousness. Darn bronzes, they where often very clingy with their riders. Oh well she had dealt with it before she would just have to deal with it again. It wasn’t as if she planned on stabbing Mi’rah for Faranth’s sake. Just a few favors and when he got boring she would drop him. It wasn’t as if he would be permanently scared or anything and if he was it was her problem not his.
The greenrider pursed her lip as the dragon evidently weighed in again. “Wouldn’t what darling?” She asked, but Mi’rah needed answer because the next moment a voice entered her head. A strong masculine one. Not like the sweet bell like tones of her girl at all. She felt Onyth’s displeasure at the intrusion onto her property. Arrogant bronze. How dare he. Easy my love. She soothed before replying out loud to Mi’rah. “If you are worried about drooling don’t be. I see enough drool on a daily basis that you would think I worked at the creche.” Flipping her dark hair over her shoulder she sent another soothing wave to Onyth.
The green in question was sprawled out on her ledge. Her tail lashed in agitation across her ledge her green eyes sporting a small swirl of red. Without preamble she spoke directly to Mi’rah. She did not like it when others spoke directly to her bonded unless necessary. It was a pet peeve. Her wingleader and such where excused from such behavior due to necessity, but this arrogant creature was not. In the interest of being fair I will tell you that mine does not wish to upset. You would do well to relax now for you will distress her. To Kierjaarth she added sweetly but with a touch of venom. If you want respect it has to be given in turn. The next time you seek to speak directly to that which is mine ask permission, unless it is necessary. Withdrawing from the alien minds of the bronzepair she watched the goings on from her ledge. Kierjaarth was a prime example of why she preferred blues, they where rarely arrogant like the shiny ones.
Elysia was aware of the little exchange but she gave no indication. Instead she merely rose fluidly from her perch at the rider’s bedside and leaned over to kiss his forehead. “I believe I should take my leave now. You need your rest. I’ll come back soon. I promise.” She whispered before drawing one finger along Doppelganger’s back and smiling. “I will see you soon my little friend.” Reaching down she gathered Baron up into her arms, the flit not even twitching in response, and turned to stride purposefully to the door. She had planted the seeds and nurtured them a bit. Now she just had to be patient. Even with the bronze and his attempt at interfering it had gone smoothly. Time would tell.
