Month 6 greens 15-19 feet; blues 19-23; browns 23-27; bronzes 27-28; golds 28-31 - first glide for dragonets - humans personal weapons test Up bright and early for the morning run. Check. Cleaned up and fed after morning run. Check. Morning lecture for the humans, playtime for the dragons. Check. Lunch. Check. The next four hours were theirs - well, in a sense. Not really at all. It was the same schedule they'd been following the last six months and while S'rring had no problem falling in line and taking to Weyrlinghood, T'vis had a big problem with it. Oh the past six months had done something to improve his mood and attitude towards riders. Something, though not much. In fact it seemed some days as if the Blueweyrling hated riders more now than he had before. Or maybe he just hated M'ta more than he had before - which was probably the case. Who did the little Brownrider think he was anyway? As S'rring and T'vis made their way towards the left side of the Weyrbowl T'vis made a face, and his companion chuckled, "He only picks you out of the group because he knows you hate him. If you'd just accept your place and lot in life things would go more smoothly for you." Shooting the dark haired man next to him an icy glare T'vis shook his head, "He has it out for me. I know it." Another chuckle came from S'rring and he shifted the strap of the large bag he was carrying on his shoulder. It rested against his back, and when he shifted the contents clinked against one another noisily. Finally the pair of weyrlings reached the area they'd chosen for their work that day - practicing with weapons. While the humans did their thing, Uth and Detrith followed behind quietly. Well, not quite so quietly as T'vis would have preferred - We should be with Kallandrith and His.The usually stoic Blue was whining. Not quite whining actually, more like making a point. Over and over again. May as well have been whining. C'loy is a bugger, at least I can stand S'rring for a while before wanting to punch him in the face. You should not say such things T'vis-mine. Kallandrith is a Bronze, His is above you T'vis-mine. Detrith was quick to remind His of their place below any shiny pair. Aye, I know it. So does he. S'why he is such a bugger. Quiet so we can get this done and then get to dinner on time. With the final word from T'vis the Blue hushed, though it was clear he would much rather be with his Bronze clutchbrother than the Brown one next to him. Not that he minded Uth (or Uth's twin, Oth when he was around), he just preferred to keep in the company of Bronzes. Since his hatching day he'd done his best to try and drag His off to spend time with C'loy. Repeating time and time again they must serve the Bronze and stay close to him. Unfortunately for Detrith, T'vis was not at all interested in pandering to the blonde haired Bronze weyrling or the shiny beast he called his. S'rring set the bag down and undid the laces, letting the contents fall free. Some light daggers, a short staff, a few other weapons that wouldn't be nearly as easy to carry on dragonback as well. Leaning in he grabbed one of the staves and then tossed the other to T'vis. "These first, less likely to have you killing me if there's no tip to them." Uth rumbled and gave T'vis a pointed look at this before settling down to gnaw on the rather large thigh bone he'd carried along with him. He looked almost like a canine the way he laid the bone between his forelegs and chewed on the end with his thick tail swaying to and fro behind him. Detrith settled near the Brown, but not too near, and kept his eyes focused on His and Uth's as they got into position across from one another. T'vis smirked a bit as he weighed the staff in his hand, then lunged forward to land a blow on S'rring's leg - a blow that the older weyrling easily blocked. The sound of wood hitting wood rang out around them and then S'rring lunged forward to try and hit T'vis. A block from the Blue weyrling this time and S'rring chuckled, "Seems you are getting better. Last week I thought you were going to be completely black and blue all over by the time we finished." T'vis looked un-amused by his comrades jesting and lunged forward again, this time pulling back at the last second and hitting for the side opposite of where he'd initially aimed - faking out the Brown weyrling and managing a solid hit on S'rring's side. The older boy hissed a bit in pain but then grinned, "Much better indeed."

Lilu was jogging around the weyrbowl lake after lunchtime, wanting to make sure she kept on her normal schedule to keep both herself and Venideth in top form. The formative years were very important, and keeping him on a set exercise schedule helped create good habits for later, as well as keep his muscles developing strong and lithe.
She wore a tight, but thin, powder blue cotton top, along with form-fitting dark teal trousers. "At least the ridiculous clothing I wore during my memory lapse serves well as exercise clothing," she thought to herself as she jogged. She ran barefoot, not wanting to soil her one pair of good boots with exercise sweat, and had her hair tied into a simple ponytail that bounced behind her, not wanting to have to keep moving hair from her eyes. She didn't bother with a breastband, since it would just get sweaty and require washing, and she was not well-endowed enough in order for it to be a problem as she ran, beyond some bouncing that she was unconcerned with.
Venideth trundled along behind her, the blue having grown to a good 21 feet long, and kept trim and lithe by Lilu's workout schedule. He flapped his wings every four steps, so as to work on his developing wing muscles as well as his legs, and kept up the pace well enough, though his expression displayed his displeasure. "Lilumine, I was still digesting that wonderful herdbeast you caught for me. Why can you not let me just relax and enjoy my meal for once?" Turning towards the blue, even if it wasn't necessary to speak to him out loud, Lilu replied curtly as her breath puffed out in exertion, "Because keeping you fit is vital to keeping you combat-ready. You shall be a shining example as to my superior training regimen." Snorting in a combination of amusement and exasperation, Venideth replied, "I will shine when you oil me after this exertion is over, as you promised." Lilu snorted herself, and said, "Fine, if it will cease your useless complaining."
About an hour after she began, Lilu noticed a two young men, one with a thick-set brown, one with a lithe blue, approach the weyrbowl lake. She recognized T'vis with Detrith and S'rring with Uth, both from her weyrling class, and saw S'rring drop his bundle, releasing the weapons from within. She slowed a bit (to Venideth's happiness) as she watched the two young men take up quarterstaves and begin sparring, a slight smile crossing her features. "Come on, Venideth, change of plans. I think it's time to show those boys what a real sparring match is like..."
Approaching the two young men, she reached down (not bothering asking permission), and took up a dirk and a dagger, one in each hand (the dirk in her main hand, the dagger in her off), and flipped them around dexterously as she watched the two young men spar. Smiling cockily, Lilu said, "Hello S'rring, T'vis. Sparring a bit, I see? Mind if I join?" Venideth, for his part, moved to stand beside his brown and blue clutchbrothers, watching His and stretching his wings and legs... he had learned the hard way what happened when he went from exercising right to sitting down without stretching first, and would rather avoid the pain and the lecture from His.

Wrapped up in their sparring, the pair of young men did not even notice Lilu's approach until she spoke. T'vis jumped a bit and that left an opening for S'rring to sweep at his legs and knock him onto his back end. Chuckling S'rring stepped forward and offered the Blue weyrling a hand up, "Sorry, couldn't let the chance pass me by." To Lilu he arched a brow and offered one of his charming smiles, "Of course you can join in, don't worry we will take it easy on you."
Yes he had noticed she had a harder edge to her since her Impression - though he hadn't known her all that well prior to her getting her Blue. She was a very serious young woman, though by the looks of her current outfit you wouldn't know it. S'rring managed to keep his eyes on her face, though T'vis being the young man run by hormones as he was, could not. And he wasn't the best at hiding it as he let S'rring help him to his feet again. "Yeah, what he said. You can join. I won't bruise up your pretty face."
Uth seemed happy to see Venideth, Detrith seemed unphased by the other Blue's arrival. Rumbling happily as he chewed on the bone between his forearms, Uth looked at Lilu then Venideth before his attention went completely back to eating once more.

Lilu laughed at S'rring's response... and there was a bit of a wicked edge to her laughter, to boot. "No need to be easy on me, S'rring... I've beaten men with a blade in my hand more times than I can count since I was old enough to hold a weapon," she responded with a confident smirk. Looking over at T'vis, she noticed he couldn't seem to take his eyes off the fact that her sweat had cooled her since she had stopped running, and the fact that she wasn't wearing a breastband was quite obvious through the thin material of her top. Shaking her head, she took the tip of the dirk and placed it carefully under T'vis's chin, lifting the blade and bringing his head up until he couldn't help but look Lilu in the eyes, and said, "Eyes on the prize, T'vis. Don't make this too easy for me."
Flipping the blades around in her hands again, making sure she felt the weight and balance of the blades, she looked from T'vis to S'rring and back again, and grinned widely as she said, "Let's make it at least a slight challenge for me... both of you at once." Flipping the blades up into a ready stance and crouching slightly, moving her weight to the balls of her bare feet, she began bouncing on her heels to loosen her muscles up (probably distracting T'vis again) and said, "Come on, now, let's do this. Don't worry, I won't hurt you too badly."
Venideth, standing between his clutchbrothers, finally finished his stretching routine and settled down on his belly, relieved for the chance to relax finally. Looking over at Uth, he sent, "Enjoying that bone, are you? Simple pleasures, eh, brownbrother?"

The boy with the messy hair opened his jaw wide in a yawn as he stood next to his brown weyrling in the weyrbowl. Yawning seemed to be a nearly perpetual expression on the lazy boy's face nowadays, even more so than before he had impressed. Oth didn't let him sleep as much as he needed to sleep and most of the time he was left glaring and muttering at the dark hide of his mindmate, though Oth really could care less. He knew he upset Au'st when he woke him up early in the morning, but he didn't really care. The brown dragon didn't really see the point in being so lazy anyway.
" What are we doing here?" Of course, the dragon sat silently next to him. Sighing heavily, Gus leaned against his massive brown's bulk, yawn again before settling into something that could be considered a sleeping position. Unfortunately, Oth moved just then, causing Gus to tumble to the ground in an ungainly heap. " The fuck?" He cried out, but Oth didn't even turn around. Rubbing his head, he rose into a sitting position and decided not to go after the dragon. He changed his tune quickly enough when Oth didn't show any sign of turning back.
Uttering a sound somewhere between a grumble and a growl, Gus rose to his feet and chased after the dragon, catching up with the dragon...which was moving at a surprisingly swift pace. He wasn't surprised at all when S'rring and Uth came into view...along with a few more weyrlings that he didn't know. He had already spoken to S'rring about the whole "scarring out dragons for life because of your horny, perverted salamandyr". They has some sort of peace now, which was probably pretty important considering their dragons were identical twins.
Oth realized what was going on instantly and made his way over to flop down next to his brother. He crooned lightly towards Venideth and Detrith before rolling over onto his side and pawing at Uth's bone. Want. He didn't really want it. Oth knew better than to steal food from his brother, but he was bored.
Gus didn't even bother approaching the others. Blinking several times, he took much longer to realize that the spar was going on. Chuckling lightly, the older boy fell into a sitting position, watching the spar without actually getting involved in it. He was far too lazy to get involved in the fight. All he was interested in sleeping, but this was a little too much to pass up. " Be careful, Lilu!" He called out to the girl, chuckling lightly. The odds were decidedly not in the girl's favor...but Gus wasn't stumbling over his feet to help her, no matter how much disappointment emanated from his brown. Oth ADORED females, of all species.

Uth crooned lightly to his twin as Oth approached - he was always happiest when his other half was around. When Oth flopped down and said he wanted the bone however, Uth pulled back slightly and held onto the bone protectively, We should have thought about that before we came out then. Which was Uth's way of saying 'Too bad get your own.' The Brown then resumed gnawing on the large bone - which by now was half the size it had been when he started.
T'vis couldn't help it. Even though he heard her speaking he was... rather distracted. Even if she wasn't the most well endowed woman in all the Weyr she was definitely a woman, and he was more than noticing it right now. Ah but then his attention was brought back to the rest of her when he felt the cool blade against his chin and he was forced to look up and meet her gaze. His cheeks turned bright red, both embarassed and angry and he moved his eyes away from hers. After the blade was moved away he stood up and looked to S'rring then back at Lilu - making a point to not look at her chest again (at least not right away).
S'rring's arched brow showed his amusement at Lilu's declaration that she could take him on. Him AND T'vis as well. Interesting. She sure was a cocky young woman, wasn't she? But he had no qualms with sparring against a girl, even if he did think she was just a bit too confident in her own abilities. As she stood at the ready, bouncing slightly in anticipation of the start he grinned and nodded to T'vis, "So she wants to take us both on, eh? You ready?"
Uth, let T'vis know that Lilu is likely to go after him more, she'll see him as the weaker one.
Detrith, yours is weaker so Venideth's is likely to try and stab him more. Uth relayed the message to his clutchbrother to relay to His since he didn't want to do it directly.
Venideth's thinks you weak! Outsmart her, use it to your advantage. Detrith hissed softly in the back of T'vis' mind. How dare the other Blueweyrling think His was weak!
T'vis may have been the weaker of the two men but he wasn't stupid, he had seen the look on S'rring's face when he was talking to his Brown. Then the message had been given to him from his Blue. Obviously there was a little game of 'telephone' going on, at his expense. Thanks for the vote of confidence everyone, he could handle this himself kthx. Without warning he lunged forward at Lilu, aiming the end of his staff towards her legs. If he aimed any higher he was likely to get distracted by all that bouncing she was doing - nice try lady.

Venideth nodded in response to Oth's greeting, internally wondering at how many more of his clutchmates might be showing up. Putting the thought aside, he looked again at His, hoping she was as skilled as her confidence put her as... he well knew that any blows she took he would feel as well, and he didn't enjoy the prospect of feeling pain due to someone else's overconfidence... even if that someone else was his bonded.
Lilu, for her part, smirked as she heard Au'st call out at her, not realizing the boy had arrived. Just like him to sit by and not participate, she thought... though perhaps she could make it happen anyway. "How about you fight the winner, Au'st?" she called out, turning her head to direct her voice but not taking her eyes off her opponents. Just then, T'vis suddenly swung his quarterstaff at her legs... though his sour expression before the attack clued her in that something was going to happen, and she easily lifted her foot up to avoid the blow, then brought the foot back down hard, attempting to surprise the blueweyrling and jostle the staff from his grip, or at least loosen it and throw him off balance. Simultaneously, she swung her off-hand dagger in an overhand arc towards S'rring's head, in an attempt to cause him to move his staff up to block the blade, while her main hand dirk drove in towards his hopefully now undefended midsection.

We did. Oth said decisively, but left things at that. Uth could have his bone, Oth didn't want it. For the first time, the brown seemed interested in what was going on, rising up onto his belly, stretching his stubby neck out and watching the sparring humans with half lidded eyes. The dragon's hide twitched lightly and he opened his jaws in a wide yawn. Boring. He said at last. The only thing even slightly interesting here was the female rider, and that was even dampened by the fact that her dragon was one of his blue siblings. Not that Oth didn't like Venideth. No, he liked his clutch sibling quite a bit. He was usually just more interested in female riders of green dragons, not that Lilu wasn't adorable in her own sense. She just...would have been more so if she was riding a green instead of a blue.
Wow. All this thinking made his head hurt. He licked his chops, flicking his tail slightly and stretching his neck out over the ground. This wasn't very interesting without females, he thought at last. Maybe he should go find some? But that would mean leaving Uth, something that he didn't really want to do. So, instead the brown kept put, his mind in conflict.
Au'st yawned widely, watching the spar intently. He didn't think Lilu had much of chance. It wasn't the fact that she was a girl. He couldn't care less about that aspect of her. No one could accuse Gus of being sexist, his sister was the toughest girl he knew, probably tougher than Lilu herself. He just didn't see the chance in anyone winning in a two to one fight, especially not in a battle between weyrlings. Still. They were weyrlings. All were inexperienced. Who knew? He grinned even more as Lilu called out at him. " No thanks." He said with a chuckle. " I'm good here. Plus, it's fun watching you guys." He wouldn't want to take her spotlight away from her, now would he?

T'vis thought he had the upper hand when he went for Lilu's legs - he was wrong. She reacted quicker than he'd expected and brought her foot down right on top of his staff. The hit wretched the weapon from his hands and with that one move he was disarmed. Ducking he lunged forward and grabbed ahold of the staff again to give it a tug. If her foot wasn't still firmly planted on it he'd once more have his weapon of choice, though he'd be in a horrible position should her attention focus back onto him... being on the ground and all.
You are going to lose to a girl. Detrith commented supportively from his position on the 'sidelines' with his clutchsiblings. Then the blue went back to being eerily silent, not offering any commentary at all to his bonded past that.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Detrith shifted in his spot amongst the two browns and the other blue. He may have scooted a tad closer to the browns, or perhaps he didn't. They weren't his bronze clutchbrother but the twin browns were next in line as it were when it came to things - and he knew should he need their assistance in helping His he could use their brawn to his advantage. Always the little schemer, Detrith was. -------------------------------------------------------------
S'rring saw the flash of the blade - dulled for practice of course - as it caught in the light and arched up towards his face. He wasn't totally inexperienced however, he had grown up with a brother after all. So whilst his sparring partner floundered about on the ground attemtping to get his weapon back, S'rring reacted with grace and speed. Instead of moving his staff, and thus his arms, up to block the hit towards his head he spun the staff. The top would smack against the blade perhaps even Lilu's hands as she went for his head while the other would deflect the attack she was going for towards his midsection. The blueweyrling would find S'rring was not quite as easy to fluster and throw off as the other boy was.
If he had timed his move right he would have thrown off both attacks, and assuming he avoided being hit he would bring his staff forward and down in an attempt to make contact with Lilu's shoulder as she went for his midsection. No thought was given to T'vis on the ground, though honestly if he wanted to be helpful he could you know, try and knock her over or something. Really what was that kid doing?
Uth picked up on his twin's thoughts and shook his head as he finished up his bone, Not as pretty as a gold. He was of course referring to Lilu. Where Oth may have a thing for all females, Uth had a thing for those of the draconic kind. Golds mostly, though he'd likely chase a green every now and then. Of course food was his passion, which he was reminded by when his stomach gave another rumble. To S'rring he added, Do not hurt Venideth's face, S'rringmine. We like it. We are hungry as well. Please hurry. Dragons. Helpful sort, weren't they?

Lilu allowed herself a small smile as her stomp had the intended effect on T'vis, causing the boy to have to scramble to retrieve his weapon. S'rring, however, put forth more of a fight than she thought him capable of, and as his staff knocked her upper blade off-target and simultaneously spoiled the aim of her gut shot.
Using the impetus of the double block, her upper attack being delivered first and therefore blocked first, she followed the sideways movement of her blocked lower blade, turning it into a spin as she bent her knees, avoiding any counterattack aimed at her upper body (though still holding her off-hand dagger above her to block a downward strike as well).
As she spun and crouched, she brought her main-hand blade across to attempt to strike at T'vis' head, while at the same time gripping his staff with her feet, hoping to knock or drive him away from his weapon and use her bare feet to twist his now-free staff along the ground completely away from him. If this occurs, she planned to unbend her knees and return to a guarded stance facing S'rring, followed by quickly kicking the staff across the hard ground as hard as her toned legs could carry it.
Meanwhile, Venideth heard Detrith's thoughts, and replied, "Of course he will. She is Mine, after all." To Uth's thoughts he responded, "She does not need to be as pretty as a gold. Golds are made for breeding, not fighting. Mine is made to fight, and she does it well." A pleased green tone to his eyes displayed the pride of his bond choice clearly.

Not as pretty in the least. Oth said, mirroring his twin’s thoughts. It was rare for Oth to have an original thought of his own. Most of the time that happened when Uth wasn’t around…not that it mattered to him. He was strong enough to get anything he wanted…why did it matter that he wasn’t the smartest dragon around? He didn’t care if people thought him stupid. If they did, he didn’t know, because no one but his bronze brother was brave enough to come out and say it. One of these rare moments came out now as he lifted his head, eyeing Venideth with half lidded interest. Really, Venideth? He asked with an amused tone. How do you thin yours would fare against a gold? Or you for that matter? Oth knew that even he would be hard pressed to beat a gold in fair combat, let along Veni with his smart mouth and female rider. Someone needed to learn his place...and Oth didn't know a better dragon to teach him...besides Uth of course. But Oth suspected that his brother would be too busy worrying about his belly to say anything to Venideth.
Forgetting about his blue clutchslibing almost immediately, he turned to watch the fight, putting in his two cents after Uth. Yes. We are hungry. Hurry. He said, but not to Au’st, though he would never cut His out of his thoughts. No. This was for S’rring, who seemed intent upon keeping the dragons waiting for food. They were growing dragons after all, they needed all the food they could get.
“ Hey.” Gus said from the sidelines, a little put off. Oth ignored him though, as he knew his rider’s hurt was mostly feigned. Gus was really too lazy to care if someone else fed his dragon. He had done his part today. That meant less work for him. Though he knew if S’rring went off to feed Uth, Oth would most certainly be dragging him along. Turning to watch the sparring match, he snickered at the boys. “ Come on guys. Don’t let a little girl beat you!” He jested good naturedly. Maybe that would make T’vis decide to get his shit together. Who know? Either way, Au’st really couldn’t be bothered.
This was all entertainment to him.

Venideth was ignored. As were the twins, Uth and Oth. Detrith was just watching now, the blue almost like a statue as he sat there. The only movement that came from him was the occassional blink of his eyes or the minute twitch of his tail.
T'vis, this is a failed cause. Go for another from the bag. Detrith whispered quietly in the back of His' mind. Surely His saw how strong the woman was, surely he realized the more he went for his staff the more vulnerable he made himself.
A blow was struck towards his head - the dulled blade still managed to nick his skin slightly across his forehead. He rolled to avoid more damage and watched as Lilu's nimble feet twirled and moved his staff out of reach. Then she kicked it and it rolled a good distance before finally stopping. The youngest of the gathered weyrlings had two choices - run after it and leave S'rring to face Lilu's full attention while he attempted to retrieve the staff, or do as his dragon suggested and grab something else from the bag which lay much closer to the sparring match going on.
Glancing towards the dragons and then further past them to Au'st he called out, "You're a grand help bud!" He practically spat the words out of his mouth between panted breaths as he bolted for the bag. Inside he found another set of sparring blades but only grabbed one - unlike Lilu he doubted he could dual wield the blades effectively. Hell, he doubted he could manage with just the one. It'd bring him in a lot closer to her when he tried to land a hit, in all likelihood he'd end up with more cuts and plenty of bruises by the end of this but he wasn't about to give up just yet. Fueled by hormones and turns of lamenting anger at his absentee dragonrider father he ran back to where S'rring and Lilu were going at it still and lunged for the girl's midsection, from the side. She'd probably be paying more attention to S'rring at this point, not factoring in T'vis as a real threat. However if his blow landed as he meant it she'd probably get the wind knocked out of her, or a similar effect. Her balance would likely be thrown off a bit as well, though she wouldn't be thrown to the ground.
----------------------
S'rring was intruiged by how well she countered him. She was skilled, much more skilled than she should be for a weyrling - after all she was younger than he was by a few turns. And a girl at that. Where would she have picked up such fighting skills? His mind was racing as he watched her with deep brown eyes. Every movement he studied for a half second before responding with one of his own. He may not be as skilled but his size and gender would give him a one up, or he hoped at least. Growing up with a brother to spar with hadn't hurt his case either.
She moved, kicking T'vis' staff pretty far off. His eyes could have checked to see how far, but they didn't. Instead he watched her eyes to see if she'd give away her next hit. She didn't though, so he was forced to make his move. Staff slapped forward at her, meaning to knock her upper blade from her hand if he could manage. He had no idea where T'vis was anymore, all he could see from behind the dark locks of hair falling about his face was the slender woman in front of him.
He could hear his dragon complaining about being hungry. His twin too. He did his best to tune them out, though he could feel the pains of hunger echoing in his own belly even though he had already eaten. Shards and shells, the dragons would be his undoing if they continued to distract him. Then T'vis was going at Lilu and S'rring stepped back a bit, "Not that we need a hand, but could you?" S'rring yelled out to Au'st. Hopefully the lazy weyrling would get up and at least kick T'vis' staff closer for them, if nothing else.

"It is... not about... my size... or sex... but is... about skill," Lilu replied between breaths, not wishing to expend too much of her air in her retort towards Au'st. Allowing herself a quick burst of victorious laughter as her maneuver fully disarmed T'vis, she took the opportunity to concentrate her full offense on S'rring. Striking with ferocity and speed, she assaulted S'rring with her sparring blades, often attacking from opposite directions with each weapon so the brownweyrling wouldn't know where exactly to block.
She had driven S'rring back a good four yards when her overconfidence, or perhaps how long it had been since she'd last truly practiced her bladework, came back to bite her. T'vis, lacking subtlety but making up for it with embarrassment-fueled strength, charged at Lilu's undefended side with a sparring blade just as S'rring recovered from her onslaught enough to throw a strike at her leading blade. Not expecting the blueweyrling to be back in the fight so quickly, especially not with a different weapon, Lilu was forced to throw herself backward to avoid the strike, spoiling her balance and sending her falling backward.
Long-honed reflexes came to the rescue and she automatically twisted as she fell, somersaulting backwards on her shoulder and landing in a crouch, her blades on the ground. She quickly moved to the balls of her feet and brought her blades back up, driven by T'vis' unexpected charge from offense to defense.

Oth's head turned from the sparring match the watch Detrith with mild interest. He pulled his neck back, lifting his head up to regard his blue brother with some interest. He thought about teasing the blue at first. Why not? He was so focused on His progress in the match that it would be all too easy to say something biting to the other dragon. At length, he decided not to bother. He was dreadfully hungry after all, and any added effort would just make him more hungry and with no end in sight to this play fight between the humans, his stomach was growling quite profusely, even though he had already eaten today. He blamed Uth for even bringing the bone.Hungry. The brown grunted. He was always more hungry when he was around Uth. He blamed that on his twin as well.
Au'st was watching the match with waning interest. It did intrigue him how Lilu was still standing...against two boys no less. One who was much older than she. Obviously she hadn't been a simple candidate at the time of her impression. He hadn't bothered to get to know her that well as a candidate, then again, he hadn't really gotten to know anyone outside of his sister and Osnat...and Qaena to a certain degree. But still. He had other things on his mind as a candidate...like work, and sleep. Well, he supposed he should help them. Even though he wasn't keen on this being a three on one fight. As both boys called out for him to do something...he was indecisive. Lilu was skilled. That much was obvious, but how much did skill matter when you were caught off guard? And if he did help, he would surely catch her off guard. He was behind Lilu, the boys facing him as they sparred. She knew he was there, but he hadn't made any moves at all to join the fight. In fact, every movement on his part was to keep as far away from the sparring match as possible.
Do something. The words were firm in his mind, shielded from everyone save for his twin and Au'st. The sooner his boy got off his lazy ass and got in the fight, the sooner this would be over and they could go eat. We are hungry. The dragon said even more firmly. He could tell his brother was hungry, and that, in turn, made him hungry. Anyway. He knew His wasn't completely useless, but everyone seemed to think so because he never did...well, anything. This was a prime opportunity to show the others that he wasn't a total loser. Geeze. Thanks. Au'st snorted into his brown's mind, eyeing the field of battle with some interest.
At length, he decided to help. Rising slowly from his sitting position, he eyed the positions of everyone involved and made a mental map in his head, quickly shifting to glance to T'vis' staff, which was on the ground a few feet from him. Moving quickly and decisively, the tall boy grabbed the staff, and in a deft movement came up behind the girl, moving the staff in a sweeping motion. If all went according to plan, she would be caught off guard by this attack, and the staff would successfully knock her feet out from under her. If she dodged it somehow, he would come from the other side, trying the same maneuver.
When he actually tried, he could be pretty quick. Too bad he never actually tried.

Uth grumbled lightly as he watched the sparring match, only taking a bit of interest in the fact Oth's was now joining in. This was boring why were they doing this again? He didn't bother asking though, figuring if he distracted His then he would mess up and they'd be stuck there even longer.
Detrith nearly purred in delight as he saw his other brownsibling's was up and moving. There was a chance for them to win after all - not that he saw the point in this sparring match either, much like Uth he found it mostly a bore. Though if they were going to do it, he would prefer His be on the winning side. Not the other.
Feign for her front midsection then follow around to the side instead. Surely with three of you now you can take the girl down. the blue whispered to T'vis, carefully shielding his thoughts from his nearby clutchsiblings - especially Venideth.
Sweat beaded on T'vis' forehead, his face was flushed - though if it was from exertion or embarrassment one couldn't quite be sure. One thing was certain, his blue's whispered 'tips' were not exactly welcome. Rather than arguing though - what good was it to argue with one who was normally quiet as a stone? - he took the advice. Seeing Au'st approaching he lunged at Lilu's abdomen, which was a silly move seeing as how she was now in a defensive position. If she moved to try and deflect his hit though, it would serve in keeping her attention from the sneaky Au'st and possibly help throw her more off balance so they could take her to the ground. At the last moment he turned, doing an almost ballerina-like twist to bring his sparring blades to her side. One way or another it was sure to throw her off, especially as the staff swept at her legs.
S'rring stepped back and watched the other two, keeping his eyes trained on Lilu so as not to give away the fact that Au'st was coming up - though he suspected her blue would clue her in to that fact. Knowing she would at the very least be distracted by the attempts from Au'st and T'vis he made his move. No stealth needed. No precision. No timed hits. No feigning. His staff was horizontal in front of him, raised to her shoulder level and he charged. Dark locks were damp and clinging to his face. Eyes were intense as he went for her, fully intent on knocking her on her arse. Of course if he succeeded he would probably end up laying on top of her - with her blades knocking into him solidly.
