Month 2 greens 9-12 feet; blues 12-14; browns 14-15; bronzes 15-16; golds 16-19 - weyrlings begin working in teams (2 humans 2 dragons) - switch off who leads the team for bond strength/teamwork exercises - getting dragonets fit S'rring gave a large yawn as he headed out into the weyrbowl proper with his muscular Brown in tow. Despite only being a few months old, Uth was quite a sight to see - he was thicker than most others his age (with perhaps the exception of his twin). He was nearly 15 feet in length already despite being a bit shorter in the neck than most other dragons seemed to be - all in all he was impressive. The pair lumbered out towards the lake in the weyrbowl where S'rring pulled his shirt up and off and shimmied out of his long pants. In just some shorts he waded into the lake then began to swim laps - Uth following behind him as best he could. The pair were there to get fit, and S'rring found swimming to be one of the best ways to do so. You're better in the water than on land. Uth rumbled lightly at this - he was very aware he was a bit awkward on land due to his bulk, but he felt he was equally awkward in the water. He was large and had to stay to the shallows mostly, not really swimming much at all. His legs were short and thus swimming was just not his expertise. Finished with his laps S'rring headed to the shore, Uth beat him there and climbed onto the bank. A quick shake - much like a canine would - sent water flying everywhere off of the Brown's hide. S'rring shook his head out and looked around wondering if he could find someone else from their class to work with - working with someone else would be much better than working alone.

Lilu was jogging around the weyrbowl lake early in the morning, having left the barracks as early as was allowed by curfew in order to have as few people to bother with as possible... and to spend the maximum amount of time away from her infuriating roommate. Time had not smoothed their relationship a bit, and Lilu did all she could to avoid Osnat (and to keep Venideth away from his blue brother).
She wore a tight, but thin, powder blue cotton top, along with form-fitting dark teal trousers. "At least the ridiculous clothing I wore during my memory lapse serves well as exercise clothing," she thought to herself as she jogged. She ran barefoot, not wanting to soil her one pair of good boots with exercise sweat, and had her hair tied into a simple ponytail that bounced behind her, not wanting to have to keep moving hair from her eyes. She didn't bother with a breastband, since it would just get sweaty and require washing, and she was not well-endowed enough in order for it to be a problem as she ran, beyond some bouncing that she was unconcerned with.
Venideth trundled along behind her, the blue having grown to a good 13 feet long, and kept trim and lithe by Lilu's workout schedule. He flapped his wings every four steps, so as to work on his developing wing muscles as well as his legs, and kept up the pace well enough, though his expression displayed his displeasure. "Lilumine, I was having a most wonderful dream involving Perienmoth and a pack of particularly large wild felines, why did you have to wake me up at this obscene hour to simply run in a circle yet again?" Turning towards the blue, even if it wasn't necessary to speak to him out loud, Lilu replied curtly as her breath puffed out in exertion, "Because keeping you fit is vital to keeping you combat-ready. The others in my class might slack off and let their dragons grow fat and lazy, but not I. You shall be a shining example as to my superior training regimen." Snorting in a combination of amusement and exasperation, Venideth replied, "I will shine when you oil me after this exertion is over, as you promised." Lilu snorted herself, and said, "Fine, if it will cease your useless complaining."
About an hour or two after she began, Lilu noticed a young man with a thick-set brown approach the weyrbowl lake, and disrobe in order to swim with his dragon. She recognized him as the owner of one of the twin browns in her weyrling class... S'rring, she remembered. "At least he has the right idea, even if he isn't nearly pushing himself hard enough," she thought to herself, nodding curtly to the man as she passed by him after he had emerged from the water to acknowledge her recognition of him, then continuing her run without awaiting a return acknowledgement.
