No! No! No! She was getting behind! Emilsk picked up her pace to catch up to her mother and siblings, not caring about covering her tracks or really tracking at all. It seemed the group had sort of clustered and the green was content to just wait for Eikask to move forward again with the lesson. Had anyone noticed her mistake? Would she be punished or rejected for lagging behind? Emilsk wondered where that thought had come from. She'd just recently begun her life and hadn't experienced punishment or rejection...she only vaguely knew what they were because Her's knew them...
Emiliah did was she was told and tried to reach out to Emilsk. How would she do that, exactly? She'd only ever touched with Shrew before and the thought of extending her mind scared her. She stopped with the group of other handlers, realizing she didn't really have a friend among them. Was she being punished for something? Were they rejecting her? Emiliah let out a quiet whimper that was drowned by Eikask's howl. Emiliah turned her head in the direction of the sound and tried to contact Emilsk again.
She was more than happy to be at the back of the group, to not make a spectacle of herself. She remained quite while her mother howled, and then went off to find the stray wherlings. She'd missed something but none of the attention was on her and the collective she gathered was that someone had run off. She comforted Her's that all was well, scolded the Little Green One for not doing her job, and then watched as Eikask found and returned with the missing siblings. Yes, now we could proceed.

Porita's face fell a little as Emiliah moved away. Maybe she'd spoken too softly or maybe the other girl was upset about being left alone before. Either way, Porita was again alone and feeling very self conscious. At least Eikane had given them something else to think about. Frowning, Porita found it very difficult to focus on Posk, though. The little blue's mind was a jumble of excitement, imaginings, and curiosity. She thought she could see he was with one of the greens, some distance from the others, but how had he gotten so far away? Porita tried to convey her worry, but she wasn't sure it was working.
Posk nuzzle Faolask with an odd chirp of apology. He would try to be quieter in the future. Besides, who knew what kind of wondrous things he'd scared away just then! She shouldn't be scared though, now when she wasn't alone. Besides, they were always watched, loved and cared for by something, so there was no need to worry. Oh dear, apparently Faolask didn't believe him. Posk tried to run after her, but nearly crashed into her tail when she stopped. Oh look, he barked happily. Mother Eikask was here! Now Faolask would definitely be safe. Posk was delighted to have a larger group again. Being together was much better and now Porita wouldn't have to worry anymore.

If Hinsero was worried that Faolan would take exception to the man's offer of help, he shouldn't have been. The pale eyes that searched his face held nothing in them but surprise and relieved gratitude. But he didn't say anything, agreeing with a nod as he wrung his hands in a decidedly nervous motion. Speaking had not been getting him very far tonight, and he wasn't a talkative man to begin with.
The greenhandler found himself fading back to stand near Porita, perhaps because Posk was the one near Faolask, or maybe just because he'd always found Porita relatively easy to relate to; the bluehandler was about as skittish as he himself was. "Thank you," he murmured to the girl. Of course, he meant Posk. Probably. It could have also been a simple case of wanting to say something and not coming up with anything else.
Faolask mentally invited Posk closer, already feeling bad for having run again. She hadn't meant to upset him! Or her mother. The little green stirred from her sprawled position, a soft whine in her throat. Eikask did not sound at all happy with her, even though her words were not mean. Whining again, she washed her dam's muzzle, pressing her apology against her mother's mind. So sorry!
The green's tail sought and found Posk just behind, stroking along his neck and muzzle. Much better all together like this. Couldn't they stop this game and just cuddle together while waiting for Theirs to come get them? She thought that would be much more enjoyable.

Kalsk was so happy to see his Mother again. He rubbed up against her, happily while purring and crooning before laying down in the dirt, rolling back and forth once. He then, got up and shook the dust off of himself, wings laying flat. He fluttered his wings and stretched them. He was happy to be back with his family but he wished that he could find His. He was discouraged and began whimpering. This time, out of frustration.
Kalsk needed to find His and soon. He didn't care about being scared. That was the furthest from his mind. He tried to reach out to Kalaht and sighed out of impatience and frustration. Would he ever find KalHis?
Kalaht was having a bit of trouble staying in sync with Kalsk and was concerned. This would be worth bringing up.
"Wherhandler Eikane? I am having difficulty with Kalsk. It's seems that he's frustrated. With what, I'm not sure. Is this something i should be concerned about? What if we never find each other? What if Kalsk and I never stay in sync with each other? What happens to him if we can't communicate with each other at all?"

Nysania didn’t comment to Faolan. Of course Nyssk was going the wrong way. He was going to find one of his siblings. Hadn’t she already said that? The Weyrhealer was just trying to figure out which one it was still. She really wished her wher didn’t pass out such titles constantly. It made things harder than they needed to be. Silly wher.
It seemed Eikane, at least, was rather pleased with their answers so the older woman stayed silent and let the younger kids interact amongst each other. She felt bad for Faolan though. Faintly she wondered if the man would like any type of anxiety medicine. She could probably come up with something to help him. But people were rarely okay with being medicated. Maybe she could discuss it with him later.
Nyssk strode in his slightly tripping gait back towards the gold. Kalsk obediently trotting at his side like his smaller brother should. But then as Eikask howled silly protected number three went charging ahead. suddenly brave. The purplish blue growled softly and ignored his seemingly simple brother’s comments. As long as they got back to Mother it hardly mattered how fast he went. Picking up his pace only a little he trailed in his brother’s wake using his nose to make sure that the other was on the right track. Although how Kalsk could mess it up Nyssk didn’t know. He was willing to bet his sibling could though.
Finally the two blues came back upon Eikask and their other siblings. With a proud strut the purplish blue circled his siblings and took up a position near his Mother. Nyssk greeted the gold with a soft snort. He had brought back one of the wayward ones Mother. Pawing briefly at the ground in front of him the wherling waited for the gold to resume the lesson. Perhaps this time they could get closer to theirs without one of the protected ones running off like sillies. The thought was there, but not broadcasted, as the male stood regarding his siblings with an almost detached interest.
