Age is foolish and forgetful when it underestimates youth.
Voldemort and his followers are steadily getting more powerful and attacks on muggles and muggle-borns are getting more frequent than ever before. The Order of the Phoenix and the Ministry are doing all they can to combat the threat, but naturally it is quite a difficult task, as the Death Eaters outnumber the Order and no one quite knows exactly how many there are or even who they are.
Not only that, but the Death Eaters' actions are getting more conspicuous by the day and the worry that the Muggle World will find out about the Wizarding World is increasing everyday and it is getting harder and harder to hide from the Muggles.
This site is an AU Harry Potter site, where pairings may differ and the characters from the Marauder Era and the Harry Potter Era are combined into a modern setting of 2010. Harry is no longer James and Lily's son, but a cousin of James and it is quite free-reign on who gets paired with who; for example, this site has the pairing of Lily and Severus, rather than Lily and James. If someone wanted to pair Nevile and Luna, for example, that can happen as long as both players want it.
Originals and canon characters are both quite welcome and as long as there are empty slots, you can choose what house your character would be best suited for.
We are also welcoming those who aren't based in Hogwarts, so if you prefer to play your characters outside of Hogwarts, then your characters are also very welcome!
