Ebolath growled low in her throat as Frosstyth doused the humans. Idiot. She snapped at him, lashing her tail across the ground. Frosstyth if mine gets sick I will be very unhappy. You best hope she does not grow ill. Normally sweet tempered to a fault, the outburst was a bit out of character for the green. Corinth’s reassurances helped however, and soon T’rid had taken hers to a safer location. Rumbling she trembled slightly and glared at her brown clutch brother. Turning towards T'rid she crooned. Thank you.
Raylin was not aware of her surroundings until she felt herself being lifted, and suddenly she had the urge to throw up. She kept her eyes closed tightly until she was laid down. Groaning softly the green rider took a few deep breaths and let her eyelids flutter open. It took Raylin a minute to focus but once she did she turned her head to regard Kalerary. “Kalerary?” The name was whispered as she tried to piece together what had just happened. Slowly it started flooding back. Had she seriously fainted? Shards she was pathetic. The weyrling closed her eyes tightly again and shivered slightly. How in Faranth’s name had she gotten wet? Frosstyth soaked you. If he does it again he will be in trouble. The anger in her dragon’s tone caused Raylin to flinch. Ebolath crooned and settled down to watch. Touching Kalerary’s mind she rumbled. Kale? Would you please make sure mine is all right?

Crystoph had moved just in time and he shook his head as the brown soaked the group. Wow that kid had to be a complete moron. Either that or his dragon had rocks for brains. Sighing, he removed his shirt and started for the girl Ka’rys had called Kale. Tossing it to the girl he smiled. “Here get Mom out of her wet clothes. I’d hate to see the brown rider murdered for stupidity.” Winking at her he trotted back to the small group and smirked at T’rid. The gesture was a bit condescending but he quickly moved away to stretch before the bronze rider could react.
Selenitas riders where obviously all stupid. Bad breeding. Sighing the red head began his stretches targeting the key muscle groups he knew he needed to rely on. This would be a waste of time probably. Mikail was right not to come. What a bunch of idiots. If they survived the next attack he would be surprised. More than likely the weyr was doomed if all their bronze rider’s where so…. for lack of a better word stupid. Not only that but their number of mature bronzes was pathetic. Even the weyrling’s didn’t seem intelligent. Pity. Selenitas obviously survived by pure luck. Perhaps he could transfer after weyrling training? Benden and Fort where out but maybe someone with a brain could benefit High reaches.

D’nar wisely stayed out of the drama. Due completely to Olanreth’s bidding. They had plenty of people to cater to the drenched. Right now his had to worry about keeping himself for getting totally embarrassed. The bronze weyrling spared a apologetic glance to C’oar. The little bronze snorted as he felt his bonded’s worry for his friend. Do not feel sorry for the idiot Narmine. His dragon is as smart as a wherrie. It is a pity.
D’nar rolled his eyes and started stretching. Olanreth hadn’t a very high opinion of Frosstyth at all. Mostly due to the day at the barracks. The weyrling’s bronze had a low tolerance level for those he perceived as stupid. Sometimes D’nar thought he only tolerated him because he had to. That thought got him a sharp prod to his mind. Narmine pay attention to what is happening around you and do not embarrass me. You are mine and I am confidant you will be fine. Now stop with the self deprecation and get ready.
