M'gnum winced a bit as Cami's face was filled with rage, bracing himself to deal with a verbal (or physical) assault from the obviously upset young woman, but then her expression collapsed as tears began to stream down her face, and she sobbed a response before turning to flee the room.
Extending a hand and saying, "Camille, wait...", M'gnum was soon left in the room alone, the blonde Candidate having ignored him and run from the room in tears. Dropping his arm with a sigh, he knew better than to chase her... doing so would only cause embarrassment for both of them. Shaking his head in consternation over the serendipitous reunion turning sour so quickly, he began slowly cleaning up the scrolls he had dropped on the way in... and found a small piece of parchment hidden beneath them, turned writing-side down and obviously not from his collection.
Placing the scrolls he had collected so far on a nearby desk, he carefully picked the piece of paper up, turning it over and seeing it was covered in writing. Near the top, he saw a short written version of his Galek story, though it was much more concerned with the relationship between Galek and the damsel, and said relationship was much more romantic than in M'gnum's version. However, more concerning was the fact that most of the sheet was covered in a name, in various scripts... HIS name.
Shaking his head, he realized the paper must have been from Camille, and would certainly explain her reaction to his rebuff... she had apparently been fostering a crush on him. Carefully folding the paper, he tucked it into his shirt and resumed cleaning up the scrolls... when he next had the opportunity, he would have to speak to Roselle about this conundrum, as he felt responsible for the young woman's heartbreak, but had no idea how to deal with an emotional teenaged girl...
