As the impromptu play went on, Rollhead began to slow in his eating, his eyes locked on the back-and-forth between Ivy and Cainith. Finally, when Ivy spoke her last sentence, Rollhead's eyes switched to bright red, and his frill snapped to full extension. Forgetting the rest of his meatroll, he scurried up to Ivy, climbing her leg and mind-yelling, YES!!! Goddess have great power! Rollhead know it to be true!" Scurrying over her body to place his head on her stomach (careful to retract his frill first), he exclaimed, "Rollhead can hear many worshippers in Vine-girl belly! Rollhead be with Goddess, and Goddess be with Vine-girl! Rollhead show Vine-girl babies how to be best worshippers like Rollhead!"

Watching the action, Cainith had a huge grin on his face, his blue's fervent joy spilling over into his own mind, and he winked at Ivy, mouthing, "You were great."

As Rollhead's demeanor changed - returning to its more fanatical norm - Ivy grinned. She was a bit surprised by how the Blue suddenly took to her, but as he laid on her belly to listen for the 'babies' inside her she ran a finger along his back gently. Idly she wondered what the outcome would be once he realized she wasn't actually pregnant, but hopefully by that time it wouldn't matter. For now he was back to his old self and Cainith was happy - so she was as well.

Perses hissed as Rollhead climbed onto His - what did that ugly thing think it was doing? Still he remained quiet for the time being, as if secretly plotting a way to make the others disappear so Ivy would be all his. Eros, for his part, was quiet as well. Amused by how easily it seemed the salamandyr was fooled - even he knew his Ivyslave had been lying and he wasn't too bright - he chirruped and tilted his head.

"Glad to see you are feeling better little one." Ivy said softly to Rollhead before looking back up at Cainith and mouthing, "Thanks."

[Aftershock]

Rollhead trilled a bit when Ivy ran a finger along his back, his eyes closing, but then his eyes popped back open, as if he didn't mean to react in such a manner to her touch. Glancing up at Ivy, his eyes a blue that nearly matched the color of his hide, he mindsaid, "Rollhead know Goddess hang around Vine-girl for reason! Now Rollhead hang around Vine-girl, too! Keep eye on future worshippers, make sure Vine-girl stay safe until worshippers clutched!" Suddenly, his eyes narrowed and his eyes switched to a confused orange, then back to bright blue as they snapped back to fully open and he continued, "You no longer Vine-girl! Now you Clutchmommy! Rollhead keep Clutchmommy and worshippers safe, you see!"

On the other side of Ivy, Cainith shrugged at this, giving Ivy an apologetic look... that couldn't help but be accompanied by a smirk of amusement.

Clutchmommy? Oh dear, what had she managed to get herself into? And how would the Blue react when she didn't actually put forth any new 'worshipers' for the Goddess? This couldn't end well - maybe this wasn't the best idea. A slight frown flitted across her features but she quickly swept it away with a smile as she looked down to Rollhead, "Thank you Rollhead, but I am sure I can take care of myself just fine. You don't have to watch over me."

Looking over at Cainith she stuck her tongue out at him when she saw his smirk - this wasn't sharding funny! She already had two Blues of her own, she didn't need his following her around asking when she'd be clutching. Especially since she wasn't even pregnant.

Perses watched the exchange between Rollhead and Ivy quite curiously - and then decided he didn't like it one bit. With a soft hiss he spoke up, Butiful no clutchmommy. Butiful no get fat and ugleh. She stay butiful always. Inwardly Ivy groaned and glared at her salamandyr - was he trying to start a fight? Glaring at the icy colored Blue she silently willed him to shut up - she was beginning to see why so many people tried not to be at 'mandyr hatchings, they were all demons!

Petting Rollhead softly she didn't say anything, hoping the Goddess-worshiping Blue would ignore the other 'mandyr.

Apparently ignoring Ivy's request to not be followed, Rollhead simply lay his head back on her belly, trilling softly as if serenading the "babies" inside. Turning when the other salamandyr spoke up, Rollhead raised his head from Ivy's stomach and extended his golden frill aggressively as his eyes turned orange-red. Hissing at Perses, Rollhead responded, "Of course Clutchmommy get big! Have many worshippers in belly! Rollhead feel them!" Sniffing at the lighter blue 'mandyr around Ivy's wrist, Rollhead snorted a bit in derision and added, ""You baby, you not know."

Looking to try to help prevent both the current squabble occurring in Ivy's lap, and thinking fast to prevent awkward questions in the future as Ivy's non-pregnant belly did not grow, Cainith quickly said, "Er, my power is great, Rollhead, don't you remember? I would not prevent the, er, Clutchmommy from having more worshippers by making her fat and ugly. I used my powers to make them not show on the outside at all until they're ready... but they'll be in there for a while, so as to... er... be ready to worship the Goddess fully when they emerge, so that you don't have to spend too much time training them and taking time away from your own worship."

Looking to His as he spoke, Rollhead looked back to Perses as he finished, and flicked his tongue out at him once, almost as if he was imitating Ivy's gesture to Cainith from moments before.
