Nividya was wandering aimlessly around searching. While searching, she found cave and went inside. With the cold outside now, the warmth of the cave was quite welcoming but the chill wind could still be heard howling across the stalagmites on the cave floor. The cave walls had limestone and calcium deposits of them. The cave was indeed dark but there were torches on the walls to light the way.
She walked in a large room with enormous pillars evenly spaced lining down the chamber. The pillars were made of stone and it looked like erosion had occurred since the pillars weren't exactly in the best of shape. This chamber must have been quite a sight back in the day where, it was in prime condition. Now, it lay forgotten. Cobwebs were seen in the corners of the room. At the far end of the chamber was an old oak door, rotting away. There was the smell of moisture behind it. Probably was a bathing chamber of some sort or maybe an underground lake! Nividya was the adventure type, like her father. She approached the door and pushed. At first it didn't give, then after a few more tries the door fell of the hinges and and made a loud, 'SMACK' when it it the stone floor. Nividya winced.
"Shards! That was loud." she had whispered as she continued on. She had found a smallish lake...well more of a pond actually. Off to the side she found a rusted old small chest. It was small enough to carry, it was made of wood and had a dull, rusty silver emblem on the front that looked like a dragon of some sort from what she could make of it. The emblem was about the size of a small cookie. What's inside? She approached the chest and tried to open it...locked. Great! Just my luck! Well, she picked it up and carried it with her underarm. Maybe she would find someone that would help her open the chest. She saw someone. Not sure who. She sighed heavily and rolled her eyes as the frame of the person she found was a males. She grunted and sighed heavily again. She decided to play nice.
"Hi. My name is Nividya or Niv...what's yours?" She asked the male figure. Judging by the size of the male figure, it looked like one of the team members. "You look lost...maybe we can work together to get out of here? What do you say?"

Torino wasn't doing much to be proactive about this lesson thing. He'd unslung his guitar when Futh dropped him off, wandering the halls aimlessly and plucking a melody on the instrument. He'd had a brief encounter with the youngest boy - Na-something? Weren't there more than one Na-somethings in his class? - in which Torino had put far more attention into guarding his guitar than his square, and so had lost it. Whatever. Figured, that he'd get his square stolen by a little monkey and his creature. Where was Bevany when he needed her? Or... well or Isori, he supposed. She'd do.
He'd ended up in one of the oldest parts of the Weyr, which was, unfortunately, about 100x further away from where Isori was likely to be than any other point in cursed Burimyu. Well, at least the Candidatemaster wasn't around, couldn't begrudge him a little mid-day pick me up. The flask was in his hand almost before he'd finished his thought. He'd managed to get some juice as well as clear spirit today, and made a lovely little cocktail to carry around with him. "All it needs is an umbrella," he said, just to hear a voice. It was sharding quiet back in these caves.
A sudden CRASH made him jump and choke, wasting precious alcohol. Backing up - casually, of course, but quickly - he put his back to the wall, swinging his guitar around so it was out of the way. Leaning back, he propped one leg up on the wall, taking another swig off his flask before returning it to a pocket. That was right around when he spotted the girl at the end of the hall, the other Na-something. Interesting.
Oops, Ni-something. Whatever. "Torino," he answered, tilting his head to the side. "I'm not lost, though, this is totes where I'm supposed to be. Isori was going to meet me, but she's somewhere else, apparently." He stopped there, apathetic tone signaling the end of the conversation. Except... she was so little, and Torino, despite being generally annoyed, was feeling generous. "I ran into the other kid - Na-whoever - back that way," he said, using a thumb to point her in the right direction. "If you see Isori, send her this way, yeah," he finished, the 'yeah' at the end of the sentence standing in for the question mark his voice did not provide. Honestly, he couldn't help the kid more than that - he had no clue how he'd gotten way back here, and even less clue how to get out again. Not that she needed to know that.

Nividya eyed him suspiciously. Hmpf! Couldn't even remember names, now is it? Names were important.
"My name is Niv....vee...deee...ya to slow it down for you. Not Ni - something." she said rather cooly. "If you think I'm looking for Nabrik's ass, you've got another thing coming! Males are down right rude! Coming from you, it's easy to tell. I can tell the way to down that drink of yours. Nabrik was rude and now you are waving me off like some kind of trashy ragdoll just like he did." She sighed. "Why am I wasting my breathe with you? It isn't like you would ever listen to anyone!"
Nividya growled in frustration and went on her own the search for a way back, without help from Nabrik OR Torino. The small chest under her arm was light. She would not give her treasure to the likes of him, he might run off with it or take whatever is inside. She went away, leaving him alone once more. She shook her head and mumbled...
"Is there -anyone- decent around here that -isn't- a male?" while she was walking away. She didn't trust males, that was evident. She figured she would find a way out herself if no one was going to help her. She sighed of frustration.
Nividya was a good, nice girl. She just had a -lot- of bad experiences with males, all of which was not her fault. Just being born at Fort. What had awful place to be to born and worse...raised at the Weyr as well? Double-whammy! She wasn't going to cry because that is what sissies do and she was no sissy. She looked down at the ground and kept them there in the presence of Torino.
Nividya was too proud to ask for help. Her walls were up and defenses were on at the moment. If he -touched- her, she would give him something that he would -not- like. She had -learned- to defend herself at Fort Weyr by all the abuse she had endured there. Now, to think that her father practically disowned her...not in so many words but that was the impression she had. She felt worse. She had issues to work out before she could do this but, none the less, there Torino was, in the next passage way drinking up a storm.
Ah, let him drink himself up into a sharding stupor and wake up the several hours later feeling like dragon dung. It was none of her concern, her only concern was getting back.

Isori waited a long moment before daring to move from the basket in which she was hiding. It appeared to have worked. She wasn't getting chased. Or so it seemed. Slipping from the basket and tippy-toeing down the hallway, she looked behind herself every so often to make sure she wasn't getting followed. All she had to do was find Torino and they were set.
Turning back around from looking behind her, she squeaked to find her vision completely filled with ... something. Pedaling backward, she did her best to stay upright and get away from him, her brows crawling together on her forehead as she tried to focus on the thing that was so abruptly in her face.
And someone reached into her shirt.
Isori screeched in indignation and lurched forward again after that retreating hand that had been so very rude. The twerp had reached into her shirt and stolen her cloths! Or ... or ...
She clutched at her chest, and caught the last square left to her as it was in danger of falling to the floor. Okay, she still had one. Good. She just needed to get that other one back then! But before she could take two steps after the little twerp of a kid that had been so very bold as to reach places such as that to steal her squares ... (how had he known they were there ... had they been showing?) ... that thing appeared in her face again.
This time she had her wits about her enough to realize it was a mandyr ... and this time it had a square too. The wrong color, but eh. "Hah!" She snapped a hand out and snatched the square from the flitter. "Mine! Twerp!" But it was gone again. By now the kid was gone, too. She stumbled to a stop, and looked at her squares. She still had two, but now they didn't match.
Shardit.
Heaving a slow sigh, she hoped that Torino still had his square. Otherwise, she was going to tackle one snot nosed boy and pummel him until he gave her that square back. There was no way she was going to lose this game! Er. Lesson. Whatever it was. There was no way she was going to walk back to M'kai as a failure. It just wasn't going to happen.
"Shardit." She grumbled, looking around for any glimpses of Nabrik. "Kids these days, I swear." Wadding the cloths up, she poked them back into her dress, making sure they were out of sight this time. There would be no quick snatches this time around!!! She still had to find Torino, after all.
Isori headed off down the hallway at a quick clip this time. There was no point in hiding anymore. Speed was the best thing on her side; she had to find Torino before he lost his square.

((Hokay so, in the interest of time, we're gonna fast-forward a little ^^ Torino's going to grab a square off Bevany, because that makes it more fun.
For each pair (Nividya and Nabrik, Isori and Torino) this is what you will do next post: The FIRST person out of each pair to post will post finding their partner The SECOND person out of each pair to post will post returning to the classroom
EX. I am about to post with Torino. This means that when Isori posts, she'll pick up where I left off, taking both of them back to the classroom and presenting the squares to M'kai. There will be a little godmoding involved here, just don't put words into the other character's mouth, or make them do anything but walk. Thanks!
The first pair to present their squares to M'kai wins! Please feel free to ask questions, and remember, only one post per round (my Torino-only posts don't count usually, but this one does, I know that's confusing -_-) GO GO GO!))
"Chill, kid, I know your name," Tornio said, letting his eyebrows drift vaguely towards each other. Touchy little thing, wasn't she? He'd been talking about Nabrik when he said Na-something, not her (he was fairly certain he hadn't said Ni-something out loud, but maybe he was mistaken). Meh, he wasn't worried about it. "And you're supposed to be looking for Nabrik or whatever, he's your partner. Can't get out of chores without Nabrik. 'Course, I fully support any attempt to subvert M'kai's little game," Torino added, the barest hint of a smile turning up one corner of his mouth. Tiny little spitfire, maybe she was even cute. Kids weren't his thing, but... well, maybe she could be an exception.
Regardless, she'd stormed off, and Tornio pushed himself off the wall, heading the opposite direction. She could hate him if she wanted - wasn't there that saying that hate was just a different form of love, or whatever? He wasn't totally discounting her yet, he liked her style. Too much feeling, but everyone seemed to be dramatic around here. Bevany too eager, Nividya too angry... meh. Everyone needed to relax, like, a lot.
Tucking his flask back into his pocket, Torino heard movement up ahead. Isori, maybe? Ah, no, Bevany. She had her blue square in her hand, and looked lost. Torino sauntered up, then made the most terrified, shocked expression he could. "Over there!" he shouted, in a most uncharacteristic display of emotion, grabbing the square out of her hand and taking off down the corridor when she turned to see what horrible monster he'd spotted.
Darting down the hall, Torino spun around a corner, leaning up against the wall to hack and pant. Running wasn't really his thing. Glancing up when he heard someone come around the corner, he smiled - Isori, finally, not to mention no more running. Holding up his blue square, he raised one eyebrow, asking, "How'd you do."

Isori faltered a moment when she finally found the person she was looking for. "There you are!" She hissed, hurrying over to where he was gasping like a fish out of water. "What did you do, sprint the length of the Weyr?" She asked, eying the square he flourished. A grin split her features.
"I did well. Twice." She admitted. "Come on, let's go. No time to waste. Put that somewhere where it can't be seen or snatched. The snots are slick and fast." She warned, before leading the way back toward the classroom. So what if he was winded; there was no time to waste. And shardit if she was going to come in last. But she wasn't entirely unfeeling; she didn't make him go faster than a walk.
It took a little time, but they made it back to the classroom triumphantly. With not only two matching squares, but three squares total. Isori grinned a mile wide as she presented her two squares to M'kai, and stepped back for Torino to hand over his square, matching one of hers.
She shot a glance around the room, and wondered if anyone had beat them to the kick. How many had come back, and left again?

Nividya walked on to find Nabrik. The idea of -her- trying to find -him- was amusing to her but she did regret the things she said at the start of the lesson. She was not obsessing over it too much as to lose her focus. She sighed and went toward the direction that Turino pointed her in with a smile to say 'Thank you'. Hmm. Now, where is Nabrik?
With her treasure chest underarm, Nividya used her tracking abilities to find Nabrik. Her mother secretly taught her when her father was out drilling or doing what other Bronzeriders do. She eventually saw sign of tracks which led her to Nabrik. She smiled.
"I guess I had to find you, huh. Not the other way around." she teased. "Sorry for the way I treated you before the lesson." She reached her pocket, brought out a blue square, showed it to him. She tried to play nice. After all the lesson was almost over...but there will be other times that they will work together. She sighed and rolled her eyes.
