Mirazeth... now that was a surprise. Rakmaninoth shrieked her rage when she felt his hide on hers, thrashing and fighting to escape. But it was too late, he had her, and lust won out over anger. Her snapped response to his words, Of course I am challenging,[/i] was still far more grouchy than pleased, but the red bled out of her eyes as he tightened his hold. They were purple when they closed, and she submitted to his wings (albeit briefly. Rakmaninoth mated efficiently, as she did everything else).
Elisabeta's shriek matched Rakmaninoth's as she was disarmed, but it was Ur'h's dagger in her back that really caused the annoyance, not X'vier's interference. Somewhere, she knew that it was better that she didn't have the knife, as much as she might want it. No, it was being caught out, trapped between the two men as effectively as a rat in a trap that bothered her. Oh sure, she could escape if she wanted, but the odds were not with her, and that made her angry. Ur'h. One to watch in the future, though he'd never particularly distinguished himself in the past. Interesting none the less.
So it was that she relinquished the dagger and let X'vier claim what he had won, ignoring the rest of them. They were lucky, this time; Rakmaninoth had been annoyed but not especially angry, and Mirazeth had come on her too quietly and quickly to savage him like she normally would have. Next time, perhaps. Now, she would see what, exactly, Selentias had to offer. For his part, X'vier should expect bruises.
