R'men forked hay down from the loft of the Stables. Weith, being oh so useful, simply watched from his seat outside. Some of the animals refused to enter the construct out of fear, while others seemed not to care. Weith liked the ones that didn't care, though truth be told, he was amused by the skittish ones. He wondered what would happen if he flew above them.
"Don't!" called R'men as he climbed down the ladder. He tossed flakes of hay into the stalls and began gathering buckets for the runners' water.
Don't what? I wasn't going to do anything! I was just going to fly off, since it pains me so to be useless.
R'men eyed the dragon and flashed him a devilish grin before throwing water on the bronze. He went back to rinsing the buckets and filling them, not even realizing that Weith had gripped his pants. Weith lifted R'men and flipped him upside down, efectively drenching him with the water that had been in the pair of buckets he'd been holding. R'men could only laugh. He refilled the buckets, placed them on a stick and hoisted it onto his shoulders. His intent to carry it to the middle and distribute water from there.
The man sighed, and set to work, as Weith watched intently, intrigued by the activities of His.

Dyudahlii chose to head over to the stables, at least with her working there she would be able to bring Bawnii and Klaiid with her. She felt bad for neglecting them for the past three sevendays. Of course she still took them on the daily trappings but other than that, she had no time for them. Not since her Impression with Nemmalorith. So now they all headed over to the stables, Dyu, Nemmalorith, her brown firelizzard Qinaii and her canines Bawnii and Klaiid.
Qinaii, as always, took the lead, running in his weird bunny-hop fashion ahead of the group, chattering ceaselessly trying to get the others to hurry. Why was everyone so slllooow.
Bawnii and Klaiid had shifted there position so that Nemmalorith could take her place on Dyu"s right side, while they strolled together on Dyu's left. It is about time that Yours have learned to keep out of my spot Dyumine, to think that they used to see themselves worthy to walk near me. Nemmalorith raised her snout in a vary "holier then thou" fashion. Oh quiet now, you know they like you, and that was Klaiid's spot for nearly seven turns, of course it would take them a while to get used to the new arrangement. I am just surprised they get along so well walking next to each other. Dyu was very happy about how well her old family was accepting her new, and visa versa.
They finally reached the stables only to notice that someone was already there, carying buckets of water on his shoulders.
"Hello." Dyudahlii called out to him. "Do you mind if I help."

J'ash bowed his head against the cold gust blowing against him, trying to stay relatively warm. Craivaruth trotted beside him with his long wings folded neatly against his sides. "The wind makes it kind of chilly, doesn't it?" He muttered to his dragon, not sure if his words had been carried off by the wind before they reached His. J'ashmine, maybe you should have put on an extra shirt this morning. "I will never sacrifice my fashion for comfort unless I must. And, in this case, I don't have to. It's not much farther to the stables anyway - at least it will be warmer in there."
The pair walked the finishing stretch to the small building in the pasture filled with warmly-coloured leaves. The doors were already half-open. J'ash grabbed the wooden handle of one and pulled it open the rest of the way. The blue-green dragon stared inside tentatively, then snarled, eyes swirling with red. The venom in his voice was evident as he spoke. J'ashmine, my cluchsister Nemmalorith is here. J'ash bent, putting a hand on Craivaruth's side. "I know you don't like her, but we have chores we have to do-" She puts down others and hurt my clutchbrother Picarth. I will not forgive her. Can we do chores elsewhere? "We walked all the way here. Can we please just quickly clean the stables and leave?" A pause. Only if this is what you desire. Sighing with relief, the weyrling patted his dragon in thanks. "Just keep calm and ignore her. We don't need any more drama starting, mmkay?"
Finally, J'ash entered the stable, Craivaruth trailing behind cautiously. Ah - not only was Dyudahlii here, but a Bronzerider he hadn't met before as well. Stretching, he reached for a nearby pitchfork, assuming that him cleaning up the empty stalls without interacting with the others wouldn't be a problem. As much as he would have liked to meet the Bronzerider - and Dyudahlii, too, since dragons weren't always like their Bonded - he wouldn't risk giving Nemmalorith and Craivaruth a chance to fight.
The malevolent-looking dragon sat on his haunches in the corner nearest the stall J'ash aimed to work on, watching the Green intently with reddish eyes. Craivaruth concentrated on his breathing, making sure to keep himself calm for his Bonded's sake.

R'menMine, others come. The little green is one of the new ones. The eagerness in Weith's 'voice' was all too clear. Hello, little green. Weight sniffed at Nemmalorith, very much pleased to have met her. The bronze was so amazed at how incredibly small she was that he barely noticed anything else. He sniffed her again. Mine, was I this small when I hatched? Because he just wanted to know that badly.
R'men turned around, carefully balancing the buckets so they wouldn't spill. "Hello!" he called back. The man let the stick slide down his back until all of the buckets were on the floor of the stable, resting the stick on their rims. "I don't mind at all if you help," he stepped up to the girl. "Right now I'm giving them water. There are a few buckets I left by the trough. Or you could find something else to do..."Like the bluebrother's has, interjected Weith.
R'men looked up. There was man in the back, who's blue was in the corner. "Yeah, like he is." R'men straightened, two buckets in hand, and looked back to Dyudahlii. "I'm R'men, by the way, and the bronze is Weith."
"Oh, and Weith likes to dump random buckets of water on people." He nodded to his soaked attire, before flashing a grin and turning to put the buckets in their stalls.

Hello, Nemmalorith replied to the bronze, trying to ignore the comment made about her size. She was happy that this bronze at least seemed to like her and was not as idiotic as that one clutchbrother that challenged her. Speaking of which... Nemma growled as she scented her clutchbrother, turning her head to Dyu, eyes swirling with red. Dyumine, my stupid clutchbrother is here, may I get rid of him, if it weren't for him my clutchbrother Picarth wouldn't have been hurt and Goldmother would not have angered at me.
Placing a hand on Nemma's shoulder, Dyu tried to calm her. No Nemma, try to ignore him, talk with this bronze Weith, he seems nice, anyway, it might displease your clutchbrother to ignore him, you would like that right? Dyu hated to play on Nemma's manipulative side, it was not like her, but anything to distract Nemma from her anger. Dyu just hoped that she would someday be able to peaceably meet the blue's rider.
"Nice to meet you R'man, Weith." Dyu said as she gave a nod of respect the the rider and dragon. "If you don't mind, I would like to help with the water," glancing over to the small blue and it's rider, " I am afraid my Nemmalorith does not like her clutchbrother." Dyudahli gestured toward her canines and flit. "This is Bawnii, Klaiid, and Qinaii. The canines are kind and like others, Qinaii tends to be a bit noisy, he doesn't like people moving slowly, but he likes helping others, so feel free to give him a task, he would enjoy it greatly."
Dyu then headed over to the trough, glancing back she grinned. "Oh and I don't mind getting wet." She reached the trough and proceeded to fill the buckets with water, easily lifted them to her shoulders and headed back to the stables.

Craivaruth's lip peeled back in a snarl as Nemmalorith turned to look at him. His piercing red eyes were focused on the object of his ire, his aggressive side screaming to get out. J'ash deposited a pile of feces in front of the stall, then rested his forearm on the butt of his pitchfork as Craivaruth began to speak to him. Good, leave them there so that my self-absorbed clutchsister will step in them. Tendons along the either side of the dragon's upper skull were almost visibly bulging as the dragon clenched his jaws together, his back hunched and wings spread in a malevolent pose. 'Don't get angry, please!' Clutchsister saw me and is ignoring me. She thinks I am lower than the dirt she walks on! She will pay! And with a loud snarl, the very pissed looking dragon leaped forward, white and black claws spread apart threateningly.
"No!" The pitchfork clattered on the floor as J'ash came crashing down on Craivaruth just in time. The bi-coloured dragon wiggled and thrashed angrily against the human cage holding him back. He probably could have gotten out of the grip if he'd wanted to, but... this was his Bonded, and J'ash was conveying a very upset feeling to Craivaruth, which seemed to drag him a bit back into reality.
"Didn't I tell you to calm down?! Don't look at her. Don't communicate with her. And certainly do not attack her!" The dragon slowed his movements and finally came to a stop. The red hue of the dragon's eyes began to turn slightly orange in colour. I'm sorry, J'ashmine. I will wait outside. Craivaruth stood, easily getting up from J'ash's slack arms, and began to walk defeatedly towards the door. Without looking back, he spoke with noticeable irritation in his voice. But if she bothers me and you are not there to hold me back, I will not be responsible for what happens.
J'ash watched as the tip of Craivaruth's blue and green tail vanished behind the door and sighed. Turning to pick up the pitchfork, he realized that their little drama may have caught the attention of the others. His voice was not very loud and may not have carried as far as the weyrling and the dragonrider, but he wasn't in a good enough mood to care. J'ash's emotions were being muddled by Craivaruth's passionate aggressiveness. "Sorry about that. He's rather temperamental today."

"Okay, sure," R'men smiled and grabbed a pair of buckets. He stepped into a stall and hooked one up before leaving the box. After hooking up the second bucket he looked at the brown fire lizard with consideration. "Yours tells me you like being given a task. How about you go around a clean all the sticks out of the aisle. That shouldn't be too hard," he said, bemused. His attention on the brown was short lived as the clatter of a pitchfork and a muffled shout caught it. The boy with the blue at other end of the stables seemed to have leaped upon his dragon, possibly holding back the young weyrling.
It seems the greensister and bluebrother do not like each other, Weith relayed to His. I got that, came R'men's placid reply. The man knew how much Weith didn't really like it for young dragons to fight. True, he and Jingth fought like cats and dogs but they weren't actively trying to injure each other. R'men put the fact that he and Meira didn't actively hate each other to blame and was thankful for it. Weith dipped his muzzle into the tough, filling his mouth with water before the girl came out and got buckets.
If you two cannot play nice I shall have to sit between you with a paw on each of your tails so you don't gut each other. The words weren't mean to be harsh, more of an good natured warning. The bronze was pleased to see that both had opted to separate themselves.
R'men grabbed another bucket and headed to the end the J'ash was at. He stepped into the nearby stall and looked at the new weyrlingrider. "May I ask why your blue and her green don't like each other?" It seemed a reasonable enough question, R'men not having attended the Hatching. He couldn't remember why, however, which both frustrated and confused him. It was early in the morning R'menMine, you opted to sleep when I tried to wake you and so I left you and went myself. Oh. R'men then felt kind of bad, having missed what appeared to have been an eventful Hatching. Thanks for reminding me, he replied, mental tone dry.
The bronze sat on his haunches, mouth dripping as he held water inside. He was waiting patiently for the greensister Nemmalorith's to come out. Weith eyed the doorway, his eyes whirling mischievously.

Qinaii happily started gathering the sticks, piling them up to be dealt with later. Bawnii and Klaiid were enjoying their free time, Klaiid, preferring to lounge in the shade, while Bawnii chose to annoy some of the other animals.
Dyu continued with the task at hand, filling buckets to fill the troughs in the stalls, it was a simple task and enjoyable. They company was nice too, she needed to branch out, make friends, why else did she decide to stay at the Weyr instead of returning to her home. This was her home now and she had to start fitting in. She noticed Nemma just standing off to the side, trying to ignore her clutch brother. Nemmalove, go enjoy yourself, Weith seems nice. With that Nemma felt more confident and trotted out to see if Weith wanted to play.

The brownrider that he'd overheard was called R'men came over to him and spoke. "Ah," J'ash smiled, not quite sure how to begin, "well, they've hated each other pretty much since they hatched. Literally." He rested his arm on the butt of the pitchfork and balanced himself, taking a not-much-needed rest. "Nemmalorith, that's the Green one, is really full of herself and thinks everyone else is lower than her. Craivaruth hatched right after her. He's quite aggressive and does what he think is the right thing... he pretty much lives for justice. Nemmalorith thought of him as lower than dirt, and Craivaruth thought she should pay for it. She attacked him first, I think," J'ash mused, "but whatever. So they were fighting and one of her attacks missed and she got another poor hatchling in the eye. Probably permanent damage for life, the poor Blue," he sighed, shaking his head. "Ever since then, Craivaruth has hated his clutchsister with a passion. I bet she hates him, too, thinking he was the cause of her other clutchbrother's suffering. Sometimes I have to literally hold him back from going after her. I'm sure Dyudahlii is a wonderful person, but I haven't really gotten the chance to socialize with her with all this drama between our weyrlings."
His eyes shifted past R'men's shoulder for a moment, looking at the long-haired girl who was Nemmalorith's mine. Could they get along, or would turmoil between their bonded's become their personal opinions, too? "Ah... Speaking of the Green, where'd she go?" He looked around for her, becoming slightly panicked when he couldn't spot her. "Did she go outside? Craivaruth's out there..." he muttered, not sure what he should do. 'I can't be there all the time to make Craivaruth behave. It's time he took care of himself.' J'ash reached out to Craivaruth mentally. 'Hey, you. Even if your arch nemesis in out there, behave.'
Craivaruth was sitting, his side leaning against the stable wall. His sharp eyes caught a hold of his clutchsister, and he could feel his temperature begin to rise with anger. I will try, J'ashmine.
