Kunth watched with interest as Mina tested the water with her toes. Perfect, the weyrling rider though as she with happiness. It was finely warm enough for some swimming. “Now Kunth,” Mina told her green, “Don't let anybody come near here while I'm in the water.” Kunth's eyes whirled with amusement. If you say so MinaMine the green said as she stretched out on the rock, letting the heat seep into her limbs.
Mina nodded in thanks and stripped out of her clothes. Her dirty blonde hair fell over her shoulders, covering a good portion of her chest. She kicked her discarded garments off to the side, and jumped into the water without a second thought.
Kunth watched as Mina disappeared into the watery darkness. She glanced at the clothing and said, I don't see why you cover up you skin all the time. It must be most uncomfortable. If I was a human, I wouldn't bother in those silly clothes; I'd flaunt my splendid body and let everybody bask in my glory. The green dragon flicked her tail, sweeping her chosen rider's clothes away from the riverbank.
Mina's head emerged from the water. She shot a grin in her Kunth's directions. “Well, I think it would be better if I didn't try that Kunth. I'm not so sure that running around stark naked would go well with everybody else. I think I'll stick to clothes for now. Just keep everybody away from here. I unlike you, don't want to flaunt my, ah, lack of clothing."
Kunth blinked in laughter, and then curled up into a ball on the rocks. Mina waded out until her body was submerged from her nose down in the water. The girl dunked her head, and swum down into the depths of the river, only coming to the surface to draw in a gulp of breath. She let her mind wonder to all that had happened since she had impressed Kunth.

T'lor had been finding out that Impressing a dragon was far more work than he'd ever imagined. What had happened to the glorified imagery of dragonriders, and their lives of high style and power? Well, that had gone terribly awry! It was all work and hardly any play whatsoever!
He'd been training, bathing, oiling, feeding and then to top it all off being assigned chores! What kind of joke was this? Well, Shi was pretty sharding great. He loved the dragon in a way he couldn't even wrap his brain around yet. The blue was funny, loved him unconditionally, and never seemed to get on his nerves in the way people who clung to you twenty four seven did. It was really a pain to discover that he had to do all that work, though. Sure, he was better cut out for it than a lot of the Weyrlings. He was in great shape, he was capable--even if he didn't like all the work he had to be capable of--and he was pretty darn responsible with important things. Still, he missed his days of freedom just a bit...and then some.
Mine, I wanted to go play with shiny Jingth again!
The blue's mind speech cut into his thoughts, and he regarded the dragonet with a smirk. Shith had this fascination with Jingth that he wasn't quite sure of the reason for. He was too young to be feeling anything sexual for any dragon--and blues didn't go after golds! Still for some reason Shith had a rather perturbing, if not hilarious, habit. He seemed to want to mount female dragons--and sometimes a feminine looking blue! It was as though some instinct inbred to him kicked in and he had to just...have a go at it? T'lor had had to apologize for this countless times, while trying not to howl with laughter when a particularly amusing dragon and rider were Weyrlingpair were selected for his ill habit.
As it was, they were set to go to the river to bathe. T'lor was going to take advantage of the nice day, and Shith absolutely loved water. Swimming, chasing fish, or even fetching objects--another weird habit he'd found out about--Shith loved water activities. He could swim as though he were born to do so, and T'lor couldn't wait to see if that passed on to flying, as well. Shith was quite the character, but he was T'lor's and T'lor was his. Nothing would change that fact, and nor did either wish for it to ever change.
"There's a nice spot over this way," he told the blue, and then added, "we kin' play with Jingth later, fer' now we're gonna' get ourselves bathed an' lookin' fine for the ladies." Shith, though he didn't much understand 'fine for the ladies', go the idea that it was something his wanted to do, so trotted along after in a sort of prancing way, racing on ahead and rounding the corner of a pile of rocks and surrounding trees. His followed momentarily afterwards, only to see they weren't alone.
"Oh, hey there Mina. Ah'm assuming you got th' same idea as we did. How's the water?" He grinned, not noting for the moment that she'd discarded some very prudent things before going in. Instead, he began to strip down into his swimming trousers, sliding his shirt on over his head and tossing it over an overturned log. Shith was delighted to see they had company, and in the form of the greenpair T'lor and he knew a bit better than some of the Weyrlings.
Minth! Are you going into the water, too? Shith sounded very hopeful, and then noted a particularly nice stick at his forepaws, plucked it up and shook it back and forth doggedly. He shot Minth a draconic form of a smile, before sitting back down, stick still clasped between his now closed jaws.

Kunth's sensitive ears picked up the sound of another weyrling crashing through the leaves in her direction. The green opened her eyes in questioning, and was greeted by the sight of a young blue dragon and rider approaching her fast. Mina Mine. Mina's train of thought had been interrupted as her dragon contacted her telekineticly. Still, swimming underwater, she replied in a snappy thought What Kunth? I'm kinda busy here... Kunth snorted in indignation, and opted not to inform Mina of their new company.
The weyrling rider emerged her head from the water to take in another breath of air. She opened her eyes and was greeted by the glare of sunlight. Shielding her eyes, Mina moved the hair out of her eyes. Crinkling her nose and furrowing her eyebrows, the girl tried to recall her scattered thoughts. Kunth had disturbed her at the most inconvenient of times; hadn't Kunth been told only to contact her if somebody was...
"Oh, hey there Mina. Ah'm assuming you got th' same idea as we did. How's the water?"
She froze. Mina was not alone anymore. KUNTH! Kunth's eyes swirled in amusement, fluttering her wings to reposition her body. The girl sunk down so only he eyes and the top of her head was visible, and she turned to face the newly arrived company. T'lor was standing in is swimming trunks, smiling in her direction. Mina's mind stopped working, and the only thing that seemed to comprehend was one word. Swim. Turning around, Mina dove as deep as she could underwater, trying to find somewhere where she could hide.
Kunth blinked in amusement at her rider's reaction. Turning the Shith, Mina responded in a playful tone, I'm Kunth not Minth! Perhaps I shall get in the water, it does look rather nice. Rising to her feet, the green weyrling trotted in her unusual way toward the water's edge. In a more critical tone, Kunth told Shith slyly, You should tell yours that mine would like to play tag. Yoursnotmine should go follow Mine. The green wriggled in satisfaction; this was her's own fault for ignoring her warning.

T'lor was a bit confused when Mina didn't offer a reply, instead disappearing underneath the water and out of sight. He scratched the back of his head in amusement before Shith's words reached him.
Sorry, Kunth! All greens are pretty, I mix them up! It was true that Shith had a bad habit of mixing up the names of dragons, but he was slowly learning, even if he still made the same mistakes from time to time. Then, to his, he sent, Kunth says hersnotmine wants to play tag, mine! Can we, please? The tone was a whine, with his tail thumping back and forth in that odd manner he had of doing so. Shith obviously was all for it, and T'lor chuckled as he nodded and replied, "All righ't if that's what she wants ah suppose it can't hurt."
With that, he ran down to the water, and dove on underneath the surface. The water was clear, but not so much so that he could see Mina, who'd dove in first. Still, with a movement he could at least see a shape of someone. Was that Mina? Had to be! And so, strong swimmer that he was he gave chase! She had to come up for air sooner or later, after all. When she did, he'd have her!
Shith, meanwhile, raced into the water, sending up sprays all over the place as he splashed on into it without reserve or care. Tag was so much fun, it was! He knew his was a good swimmer, and they would win! He flapped his wings clumsily in an attempt to get further in, but until he got to where his feet didn't touch bottom, it managed only to look like a messy sort of flopping around. What fun they would have!

Mina could only hold her breath for so long, but this was pushing her to her limits. Kunth, tell Shith to call off T'lor. I can't keep this up forever! Kunth, who was now splashing joyfully in the water, retorted with pleasure, I don't think I will. This is your own fault to begin with. Mina breathed in, attempting to start yelling, but instead of air, she got a mouthful of water.
Kicking her legs, she reached the surface. Coughing and Spluttering as her head emerged, she motioned wildly with her arms. "Don't come an.." she broke off into a spasm of coughs. "Stay away T'lor or so help me I'll feed you to the wherries!" The girl backed away from the other weyrling's figure, and searched the bank with her eyes, desperately trying to locate your clothes. A little more in control with her panic, she added, "I, unlike you, seamed it prudent to discard my clothing before jumping in." All of it, Kunth interjected slyly.
Kunth's awkward gate on land turned out to be very useful in the water. Her limbs turned in the water like a wheel, propelling the green dragonet foreword, albeit rather awkwardly. Every now and then, the weyrling's paw would skid off the ground, and she would thrash very violently, trying to right herself. But hey, Kunth was very pleased with herself. Turning to Shith, she nodded her head in acceptance of the compliment. Greens are Pretty? Well, I guess it's ok then. She pounced awkwardly attempting to capture Shith's tail between her talon's.
(sorry for the fail post Kat >.>)
