Contest Sixteen Clutch Theme! It's no secret that we're having a wher clutch come up soon (probably September). What better way to kick this off than let our members design a clutch theme? (That's the eggs, people -- not the babies themselves.) Many of you have said you like designing clutches. Now's your chance to strut your stuff and show us what you're made of. Winner will be decided by Avu. Your eggs may even be the clutch theme for the wher clutch in September, if the administrators end up running it, so I suggest putting a lot of time and energy into this. First Prize: 10 marks and a mystery egg. Second Prize: 10 marks Third Prize: 5 marks Things to note: This is intended to be a wher clutch. So don't make like 15 or 20 eggs. It's gonna be on the small side. Recommended is around 5 to 7 eggs. Check through our previous hatchings to make sure you use a unique theme. You must write up the egg names and the descriptions of the eggs. Be creative. The more original you are, the more likely you are to be picked. And that prize egg? It's from the jungle around Selenitas. You never know what it could hatch, what with Imp chasing every female firelizard that moves. Could be a flit. Could be a mandyr. Could very well be a tunnelsnake. We shall see. Make sure if you enter you tell us who you want the baby to go to~ Deadline: August 15th

Dr. Seuss Clutch
Cat in the Hat Egg
The first thing one would notice about the Cat in the Hat Egg is that both the way it's marked and shaped make it look like the biggest egg in the clutch. It has a deceptive sort of look to it, appearing taller than it is wide, the stripey red and white markings with the very bottom being black making some think of someone wearing a hat. A very odd hat, to be sure, but a hat nonetheless! It sits near the middle of the clutch, seeming to loom above the rest of the eggs around it. The shell of the egg is very odd to the touch indeed, for while it gives the impression of being smooth, it feels like petting something with very soft fur, rather than the flat surface that it appears to be! The stripes are bright and eye catching, even though there is only two colors it gives it the appearance of looming above the other eggs. The Cat in the Hat Egg is made to be noticed, stared at, and pondered over, and it seems to know this all too well.
It's nearly inevitable that the candidates will want to come up and touch this intriguing looking egg. As they get closer it will only seem to loom taller and taller, the illusion quite curious indeed! Finally upon reaching it, they will touch it and feel many things at once. First off will be an overwhelming sense of curiosity, a desire to know everything that can be known, to try everything that can be tried. They will also feel an underlying mischievousness, as though whatever wher this egg holds will get into many troublesome and yet interesting situations. When they touch the shell, they'll be surprised to find that each stripe that bands the shell seems to be either engraved or sticking out, depending on if it is red or white--the white seem engraved while the red stick out boldly. To look at it this is not apparent, for they don't look as though they would feel like this. The very bottom of the egg has two yellow markings, not seen unless one leans far over, and they appear like slanted feline eyes--quite curious indeed. After all, if they look they will see him, the Cat in the Hat!
Green Eggs and Ham Egg
The Green Eggs and Ham Egg is a bit smaller than The Lorax Egg, but not by much, and is easily the most unattractive egg in the entire clutch. To look at it, one would think the egg would hold a very unattractive wher indeed. The shell appears lumpy and uneven, and even the shape of it seems a tad demented. The coloration seems to clash terribly, as green, yellow and pink in the shades that are on the egg look absolutely horrible together. The egg sits right near the front, however, as if it is not in the least ashamed of the way it looks, and demands people to have a look at it, unsightly though it is. Still, many will crinkle up their nose and wonder what on earth happened to this egg, and why on Pern is it so unsightly in comparison with the rest? Even The Who Egg looks pretty compared to it, though it is far less noticed. The Green Eggs and Ham Egg makes people want to simply skirt around it, rather than having to admit it is there. Still, when something is notably ugly, it has much the same effect as something that is notably pretty. People will stare and look, even if they might not want to. A person to whom appearance doesn't matter won't be shy about coming up and touching this egg, though they might be a bit apprehensive at first. Still, apprehensive or not, they will be inevitably curious and drawn, in a way, to this particular egg.
The Green Eggs and Ham Egg sends out an odd sort of feeling the closer one gets to it. It is as if the wher inside is inviting everyone to shed their judgment of its egg and come forth and touch it--to just give it a try, and see what they might find. It is as if it takes a person's reluctance and turns it into a desire to just try and touch it, irresistibly drawing them nearer until they do. A person who finally touches The Green Eggs and Ham Egg will find that it possesses a strong sense of longing, though for what that person won't be sure. Acceptance? To prove itself? It certainly could seem so. The shell feels lumpy, but not overly unpleasant. It is lukewarm, perhaps a little more on the warm side, and though lumpy there is a soft, smooth feel to it also. This egg makes one think that the wher inside just wants a chance to prove itself, to be given a chance to show the world what it is made of. For the person, it seems to have an attraction that says it is about far more than what the wher will look like. The Green Eggs and Ham Egg makes one feel that the wher inside is very empathic and tuned in to the feelings of anyone around it. It feels modest and humble, yet it does not seem to underestimate its strengths, either. There is a solid and reliable feeling to this egg, as though it can be counted on and simply wishes for the chance to show its loyalty. It gives off the feeling that the wher inside is very open minded and not in the least judgmental. Really, it shows one that it is not always about what is on the outside, but on the inside that counts! If one is wondering 'will I like what's in The Green Eggs and Ham?' It assures, 'you will like me, sure of it I am!'
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Egg
The One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Egg is notably bigger than The Who Egg, but is the second smallest egg in the clutch. Still, even though it sits nearest to the back, it does not go unnoticed. The shell reminds one of the waves in the sea, but the patterns of white and blue that are on it look more like the Terran planet seen from above. What is unusual about this egg, however, is that on opposite sides, each side of the egg has a little shape that resembles a fish! One fish appears to be red while the other is blue, facing each other if the egg were to be turned. It is an interesting egg to look at, and seems to almost draw as much attention as the Oh the Places You'll Go Egg, despite the very obvious differences in size. The egg is shaped like one would expect an egg to be, though if one looks closely it is a little more round than any but The Lorax Egg. Still, it is decisively egg shaped nonetheless, for all that it is slightly rounder. People will probably feel more at ease going up to this egg and touching it than any of the others, for it has a rather friendly look and feel about it, and is not in the least bit intimidating. That is perhaps why it is the first egg that most people touch, as though they are 'warming up' before touching the others around it.
Most will feel quite confident and calm after touching the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Egg. There is nothing about this egg that puts one ill at ease around it. The feeling one gets as it draws closer to this egg is akin to the feeling one gets when staring out at the ocean waves. There is a serenity and calmness about it that the other eggs don't possess. It as if the wher inside hasn't a care in the world, not a worry to be had. One feels relaxed and completely welcome around it, as though everything in the world is just as it's meant to be. Upon touching this egg, one feels a sense of optimism and belonging, and all their cares seem to simply fade away into nothingness. For some reason touching this egg makes one feel so at ease with themselves and the world around them, and they will feel accepted by this egg's contents. There is a calm and yet indescribably powerful sense of confidence and well being radiating from the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Egg. It seems to feel that whatever happens happens for a reason, and that there isn't any wrong which can't be righted. Really, no one wants to step away from this egg immediately, and there is no one who comes away feeling like they wouldn't be happiest bonding to the wher this egg contains. Still, there is a slight nagging feeling at the back of one's mind that makes one wonder at this wher being almost too unbelievably at ease. So, the reality of it seems to be that it will live with you. It will grow and grow. So will you like this wher? Only bonding it will let you know!
The Grinch Egg
The Grinch Egg is a medium sized egg, sitting oddly a bit further away from the other eggs, as though it is separated from the others by a few feet. The Grinch Egg is nothing exceptional in coloration, for while the colors are bright ones, they have a drab rather sad look to them, making the egg seem detracted from in appearance. The red, white and green markings are splattered as though someone threw paint over the egg in a messy, speckled sort of way. If given a closer look, one might find it interesting and almost artistic, but The Grinch Egg has an aura about it that makes people not want to go close enough to admire this. The shell looks like it will feel cold and unwelcoming, with upraised bumps of irregularity, unlike the smoothness of some of the other eggs around it. Really, it seems to repel everyone who would go and have a closer look, radiating the feeling that it will be a cold, mean and uncaring sort of wher inside.
Not many will want to come closer to touch The Grinch Egg, as it seems to intimidate them into staying away. However, there are a few who will venture closer to inspect it, and like its clutchsibling, The Who Egg, The Grinch Egg will be a surprise to any who dare venture near to touch it. Before being touched, the closer one draws to The Grinch Egg, the further they'll want to move away from it. It seems to only want to repel and scare away any who move closer, giving off an immensely strong feeling of anger, jealousy, dislike and other negative feelings. Only when a hand is laid on it does it shock those who dared touch it with overwhelming feelings that are very, very different from the ones it was giving off until touched. When touched, the first feeling that is given to the one who has touched it is a deep sadness and overwhelming loneliness. The Grinch Egg makes clear a desire to be accepted for what it is, to be protected from the world and those around it, and the desire to have something to love and protect itself. The Grinch Egg lets it be known when touched that it tries to repel people merely for the fear of being hurt by letting anyone near it, letting anyone in. It is tentative and unsure, and yet there are feelings of bravery and potential that might yet far outshine all of its clutchsiblings. Anyone who has gotten so far as touching The Grinch Egg will come to ask themselves a question. What if this wher has much more in store? What if this egg means a little bit more?
The Who Egg
The Who Egg is by far the smallest egg in the clutch. While the others are all brightly colored and draw attention, this small, unassuming egg seems to be overlooked by most. The array of grey and white makes it seem plain to the eyes, the size like it will hold a very, very small wher indeed. Just about everyone either misses it, or only pauses to look for a moment, often from afar. The egg is perfectly shaped like one would expect an egg to be, sitting serenely as though it doesn't expect much. The shell is perfectly smooth, like marble or glass, and there is something lovely about it in its pure simplicity. It sits to the left, overshadowed by its larger clutchsibling's eggs. They seem to undermine it, to look down upon it as though it were inferior, or is not seen or heard. Or perhaps one is mistaken, and they are protecting it...?
Anyone who looks at The Who Egg, passing it over for size or for its plain coloration never knows what it is they're missing. Those who wander closer, curious to actually give this small egg a chance? Will be given the most astounding experience in why one should never underestimate something by its size or the way it appears to look next to others who are more showy, larger or seem to overshadow it. For The Who Egg is the egg which everyone should touch at least once! Upon touching it, one will feel something quite unexpected and wonderful. A sense of confidence, a sense of the sort of power that comes from within without having to be large or spectacular in appearance. It is a sense of peace and acceptance, of knowing that it is worthwhile, of making the person who touches it feel that they can be themselves and never have to worry. There is no fear here, just positive feelings all around, radiating more powerfully than any other egg. It makes one want to stay with The Who Egg, resting a hand on the smooth, warm shell. It makes one contemplate what is really important in life, the things that really matter. Overall, it reminds one of a very important fact about itself: an egg is an egg, no matter how small!
Oh the Places You'll Go Egg
The Oh the Places You'll Go Egg is the only egg in the clutch that can boast of being as big as the Cat in the Hat Egg. While its fellow egg merely gives the impression that it is taller than its clutchsibling, it is in fact a little smaller than the Oh the Places You'll Go Egg upon a very close inspection of the two. This egg is both tall and round, a nice looking egg that is more colorful than any of the others. It sits beside The Who Egg, making the comparison in size and color of the two almost comical. It seems to have a glittery sheen to it, drawing the eyes to it and making one wish to inspect all of the multiple colors, swirls and patterns all over it. The shell itself is unlike any of the others, for depending on where one touches it depends on the texture. Certain spots feel rough like sandpaper, others as smooth as marble, while yet other spots feel like smooth wood, and still other spots feel like upraised bumps are on it. It is truly an interesting egg, nothing about it is plain or uninteresting. One could stare at it for longer than most of the others simply based on appearance, and one would want to touch it just to marvel at it and explore all the different feelings on the shell. Of course the way it glitters, shines and draws people in will ensure that everyone who sees it will want to go up and touch it.
What with its flashy appearance, most expect the Oh the Places You'll Go Egg to be as interesting to touch as it is to look at. In this they will not be in the least disappointed. The closer one gets to the egg, the more their sense of wonder and excitement will grow. The egg seems to radiate feelings that make the adrenaline in a person rise, the sense of being something exciting and awe inspiring. Upon touching the Oh the Places You'll Go Egg, one will be very, very reluctant to withdraw their hand indeed. For this egg is everything one wishes to experience, the wonder, the potential of adventures yet to be had, the mysticism that is life. This egg makes one feel like they are brave, strong and powerful. It gives them unparalleled confidence and the desire to explore and see everything there is to be seen and do everything there is to do in life. It invites one on a journey of things unknown, and yet there is anticipation and a desire to learn what can be learned there, too. It is exciting and foreboding both, but irresistible to any who touch it. Will this egg hatch a wher that can match all this wonder? Well, one would certainly ask "will it succeed?" The answer? "Yes, it will indeed. (98 3/4% guaranteed!)"
The Lorax Egg
The Lorax Egg is the second most colorful of all the eggs in this clutch. Neither small nor overly large, it is medium and seems perfectly round in shape, almost as though it might be a colorful ball rather than an actual egg, save for its size being far larger than any ball. It sits to the far right of the clutch, colorful yet unimposing. Rather than glittering like the Oh the Places You'll Go Egg, this egg seems instead to have a beautiful shining sheen to it, not altogether unlike that of polished metal. The Lorax Egg is strange in at least one respect whereas its appearance goes, however. When one looks at it, it seems there are fuzzy little balls of color all over it. Now, even though one can rationalize by looking at this egg that no egg is 'fuzzy', The Lorax Egg for all the world at least appears to be! While the designs are less complex than that of the Oh the Places You'll Go Egg, the little 'fuzz balls' that appear to be on it are very colorful nonetheless! Pink, blue, yellow, green...the array of colors is very pleasing to the eye, shining all the while with the shiny sheen. It is needless to say that both the colors and the illusion of being 'fuzzy' make one want to go up to The Lorax Egg for closer inspection and to touch it to see if the very convincing illusion is in fact just that--and illusion. Even, of course, if they know it must be.
The Lorax Egg seems to give off a feeling of wanting to be touched by everyone. Even before it is reached, it seems to gently draw people in, as though it has some great secret to bestow upon them, or some great wisdom to impart. For that reason if nothing else, anyone who gets close enough to it will undoubtedly feel a strong desire to lay their hands upon it. As soon as one does, they are quite intrigued and glad that they decided to, for The Lorax Egg is a wondrous and wonderful egg indeed! The shell does not, in fact, feel at all fuzzy. Instead, it feels cool yet pleasant to the touch, much like polished silver, as the metallic gleam previously implied it might. The feelings one gets from the egg, too, are quite pleasant, for the most part. One gets the impression that the wher inside possesses far too much wisdom for a mere hatchling. There is a feeling of love for all things, large and small. One immediately gets the sense that the wher inside The Lorax Egg is kind, modest and has a strong sense of justice and morality. It makes one want to be a better person, and to do good things though that person won't know as to yet what those things are. It seems to love everyone with an equality that is rare, and to view all things equal therefor. The Lorax Egg is very thought provoking, too. It gives the impression that the wher inside is a thoughtful creature, given to puzzling over things with great intelligence. Really, one feels that whomever bonds to this particular wher within The Lorax Egg is very fortunate to have done so. However, there is something else that lies beneath these other feelings. It is unlikely this egg will bond if the right person isn't there for it. After all, let it be known that unless someone cares a whole awful lot, this wher will never bond. It will not.
*If I happen to win, can egg go to Mihkal, plzandthnx? :3

Also a WIP Marks to R'el, eggs to L'ka. Pantheonic Clutch Zeus (Pleasure) Egg: This egg, the largest of the clutch, sits directly in the center of the Sands, almost begging people to look at it. The majority of the egg is a mottled, cloudy gray, but jagged lines of white and a bright yellow create a fine latticework, drawing the eye to this egg. The shell of the egg is silky smooth, almost a sensual feeling, and the egg radiates a sense of both power and pleasure, a strong and seductive feeling that will draw many Candidates, especially the older ones, to linger. Hera (Mother) Egg: This large egg, a close second to the Zeus Egg, sits near the very edge of the Hatching Sands, as far away from the Zeus Egg as possible. Were it to rest any closer, a strong sense of unease would radiate from both eggs, saturating the sands, causing Candidates to shy away from the two largest eggs, the source of this dis ease. The egg itself is unremarkable, mainly a soft blue melded with sea-greens and purples that seems calm and unbreakable. To the touch, however, the shell is rough and coarse, almost sandpaper-like. Laying your hand upon the egg produces a strong emotional response, a fierce protectiveness that lingers, flaring if the candidate was to touch another egg in the clutch. Hermes (Trickster) Egg: This egg, small and well-shaped, sits near the center of the clutch, close enough to declare it's allegiance to the Zeus Egg, but far enough away to give a semblance of individuality. While this egg may be part of a group, it shines by itself. And it literally does shine. The egg is a bright gold, encircled by lines of firey red, thickening and thinning over the survace of the shell. To an inquisitive Candidate who would touch the shell, the surface is odd, silky in some places but harsh in others. Not quite to the extent of the other eggs, but the fickle nature is surprising. If a candidate leaves their hand on for too long, they are likely to be shocked by a static spark, also a very odd occurrence. The egg radiates a constantly changing range of positive emotions, but always somehow associated with fun. Ares (Warrior) Egg:Athena (Wisdom) Egg:Artemis (Lover) Egg:

Seven Natural Wonders Clutch Grand Canyon: The Grand Canyon Egg is one that rivals the Mount Everest Egg in size and is the second largest egg in the clutch. It is an incredibly jagged and rough egg that is downright unpleasant to touch but curious to look at. This egg looks like it has layers of different colours ranging from pale brown to an almost black. These layers vary in width and even length all over the egg shell. Besides the colouring, this egg inspires awe in any who go near, as if it feels it is the most wonderful thing in the world. No doubt the adventurous will be drawn to this egg.
Great Barrier Reef: Colourful is this medium-sized egg. The most predominant colour is a beautiful light blue but it is speckled, swirled, and spotted with pinks, yellows, oranges, and all sorts of bright colours. There seem to be patches of like colours that appear to move across the shell and mix together. Perhaps oddest about this egg is not the colour but the texture. Smooth and silky feeling in some spots and course and hard in others. Every colour seems to feel just a little bit different. The egg gives off an atmosphere of calm and orderly. It feels its place in the clutch and doesn't begrudge the other eggs their spots.
Harbour of Rio de Janeiro: This relatively small egg hardly goes ignored, what with the absurd shape of it. The Rio Egg is lumpy. Very lumpy. The misshapen egg may seem unhealthy at first but if you get close enough you feel a quiet pride radiating from it. The colouring is nothing of note, though the texture may amuse some due to the lumpy waves all over the egg. A simple mix of white-touched blue and gray-green swirl over the shell unremarkably. Hardly exciting next to the Aurora Borealis Egg.
Mount Everest: Mount Everest Egg is undoubtedly the biggest egg in the clutch. The size seems to be the only thing going for it though. It has a very ominous and dangerous presence along with a very dull shell. White, white, white. Though blindingly it is very plain, with only the odd dark gray patch showing. Some may wonder, too, if this egg is alive at all, for it feels cooler to the touch than the other eggs. Only the brave or foolish might stick near this egg for any length of time
Aurora Borealis: Possibly the most beautiful and striking of the eggs, this small egg is placed right next to the Rio Egg and certainly overshadows the misshappen egg. Pretty much the two are exact opposites. The Aurora Egg is far smoother than any of the other eggs and is a mix of midnight blue, light blue-green, and a shot of vibrant red. Its a truly gorgeous colouration and will certainly catch the attention of anyone. This egg is a true mystery though, for it gives off no feeling at all to those nearby. Always seen but never felt.
Parícutin Volcano: The Parícutin Egg looks like a mini version of the occasional erupting mountains in the South. While this egg looks like it could erupt molten rock at any moment it is forever frozen as a smoke billowing egg-volcano. The top of this egg looks hazy and smoke-like from the top to about the mid-line. There it tappers off into a mottley of dark green colours. This medium sized egg gives off the feeling of hidden potential at a mere glance. This egg likes everyone to know its there and it can do something amazing.
Victoria Falls: Oh my! This egg looks like it already has a deep crack in it depending on where you stand. At other times it looks like a deep misty gorge. It run through the middle of the egg vertically, splitting the egg into two major colours. A dark, lush green on one side and a deep blue on the other side. Likewise, this egg feels different on both sides of the egg. Leathery and thick, rough and lumpy. A strange little egg indeed. This egg makes any nearby feel indecisive and curious.
If I win a prize, T'san'll take it.

I wanna bag my space for the playlist clutch! The Playlist Clutch (probably finished)
Too much love egg: this is one of the smallest eggs in the clutch and while it’s not instantly eye catching it is pretty in a subtle way. There is no true base colour for the Too much love egg the shell is covered in irregular spots of varying red shades, from certain points of view it looks like the egg is covered in rose petals, and from others there is the distinct appearance that it’s covered with spots of blood. Any of the dips and wrinkles typical to wher eggs are rendered invisible by the Too much love egg’s colouring.
While it may be subtle in appearance the personality of the hatchling within the Too much love egg is not quite so subtle, there is a clear power to this egg, the wher within would like to bring you to laugh, to cry, to love, a manipulation that some will enjoy while others will find it uncomfortable.
Paint it black egg: A colourful mid sized egg, the paint it black egg is covered by waves of green and blue shades, which drift across the shell in a leisurely fashion. The pattern would be a mesmerising thing if it were not interrupted by a swirl of charcoal black that winds around the egg from pole to pole. Oddly enough the majority of the black is raised up from the rest of the shell just slightly, except at the top where a spatter of bumps come together is one large messy shape.
To the touch the Paint it black egg is smooth, almost glossy feeling, and the emotions from the occupant are similarly smooth, flowing over the minds of those nearby without being invasive.
Bat out of hell egg: In a clutch full of bright colours the Bat out hell egg does not really look promising. The majority of the shell is a warm dark brown, which doesn’t really make it stand out among its brighter sibling eggs. The true beauty of the Bat out hell egg is a subtle one, for on closer examination the egg is shaded to perfectly resemble glossy fur. However the surface of the egg is marked by two vertical lumps on opposite sides of the shell, these lumps are just slightly darker than the rest of the egg.
A touch affirms that the egg is not furry, it’s just a very good illusion. A strong personality lies in wait for those who dare stroke the shell, at the moment it touches but lightly, yet under that gentle touch there’s a feeling that the full force of the wher’s mind could strike like a battering ram at any second.
Welcome to the jungle egg: At first glance the Welcome to the jungle egg looks sinister, one of the largest eggs it looms over those around it. At second glance it’s even more sinister, not only is the shell coloured in random splotches of green, grey, and brown but there are large dips and raised places that look like partially concealed four legged shapes and there are dozens of bright yellow flecks that look like eyes. Is the Welcome to the jungle egg watching you?
The personality of the welcome to the jungle egg is one that equally repellent and attractive, comprised of wild energy with an air of barely restrained violence and a strong possessive streak.
Someday I’ll be Saturday night egg: Smallish and very wrinkled, the someday I’ll be Saturday night egg looks like it has the shell intended for a far bigger egg. It sits in the middle of the clutch, protected and overshadowed by its clutchmates. This egg is a mix of very bright colours, wine red, bright blue and nearly neon pink. The colours mix in unfortunate ways and the surface of the shell is covered in little raised lumps.
The Someday I’ll be Saturday night egg is a strange mix, the general feeling around the egg is sad but whenever someone touches it seems happier, and almost determinedly hopeful, this attitude change tends to attract people who touched it briefly to come back again.
Ride the lighting egg: This egg competes with the Welcome to the jungle egg for the title of largest egg in the clutch but it stands as far away from the other large egg as it can while still being called a part of the clutch. The shell is predominantly black splashed with night sky blue, with the dark colouration hiding any imperfections in the shell. However the Ride the lightning egg is marked with a quite spectacular white streak that bisects the top of the shell before splitting again and again to cover one side of the lower shell with crazy white lines.
The Ride the lighting egg is filled with pent up energy, its emotions flash by, changing state from second to second so that no two people can really agree about the personality of the wher contained within this shell.
Vengeance is mine egg: Sitting right next to the Ride the lightning egg is another blue egg. The Vengeance is mine egg is midnight blue shading to royal blue in places. As well as being slightly rumpled all over the shell is scattered with black splatters. Quite worrying these spatters seem to change position and move around if you look at the egg for too long.
The Vengeance is mine egg is as disturbing in mind as matter, it’s driven and determined, totally willing to spill blood for the sake of achieving its goals and quite willing to glory in the spilling.

The Seasons Clutch [/b][/i][/u] Spring Water Egg - WIP Summer Earth Egg - WIP Autumn Fire Egg -This egg is in the middle range as far as size goes. It is bigger than the Spring Water and Winter Wind eggs, yet smaller than the Night Dark and Day Light eggs. It sits in front of it's smaller sibling, the Spring Water. This egg is only partially covered in sand, highlighting some of the egg's colours. It is a refreshing, vague mottle of brown, gold, orange, and red. All over the shell, in random patterns, are little imprints of what looks to be leaves. If one were to touch them they would feel tiny little veins in the leaves but the rest of the shape is smooth. Winter Wind Egg -This is the smallest egg of the clutch. It is the most covered it sand that if it weren't sitting front and center it would almost be impossible to see. The Winter Wind egg is such a pale, pale blue that it could almost pass off as white. On the egg there are darker shades of an almost unnoticable blue that would not be seen at all if the rest of the egg were not so pale. Hiden about the egg are little bumps that cluster and spread out randomly, as if being blown over the egg. They look much like the "stars" of the Night Dark egg, but they are larger, and each is different and have tiny, almost delicate patterns within each one. Day Light Egg - WIP Night Dark Egg - This egg could rival the Day Light egg in size. It is very large and sits in the back of the clutch next to it's size-rival. The Night Dark egg is almost void of any sand. At the top of the egg is a cresent shape that is a pale greyish blue and it the first thing on the egg that you see. It is mostly smooth and an almost uniform night sky blue. There are little bumps that can only be described as feeling like braile. The bumps vary in colour from white to pink to gold, much like stars. If one were to walk around the egg it would appear that the "stars" on the egg are winking in and out of sight.

Lost in Time Clutch
Past Egg: This small egg is almost hidden by its clutchmates and might often be ignore since it is neither the prettiest or the biggest. Soft grey is its primarily color, which may seem dull at first, but is actually quite a lovely color. It blends smoothly into darker and shades all over, giving the illusion of mist or clouds. The shell of this egg is smooth and pleasant to touch and is sure to give a good feeling to anyone who gives it notice.
Present Egg: This egg demands to be the center of attention. It stands in the front of the clutch and is quite large so that it hides some of the others from view. Its primary color is a bright yellow gold that seems to shine even in the dim light. Within the gold, however are red spots and streaks, almost like scars scatter across the otherwise unmarked surface. It's surface is rough and uneven, but not unpleasant. The mind inside is active and alert, but holds its secrets close.
Future Egg: This egg, in sharp contrast to its fellows is completely white. No markings or colors at all anywhere on its surface. It's so white in fact, that it stands out among the others and almost seems to shine or glow with its own light. Its shell is smooth and frictionless to the touch. Though clearly alive, it is hard to tell what kind of mind lies beneath the blank surface of this egg. Its decidedly average size makes it impossible to even guess its color. This egg remains a complete mystery.
Paradox Egg: Glaring is the word that comes to mind when looking at this egg. Though average in every other way, this egg is covered splashes of red, green, blue, pink, orange, purple, and just about any other color in the rainbow. There is no rhyme or reason to this eggs pattern either. The colors contrast badly with each other making it hard to look at for too long. Anyone who dares to approach this egg will find its shell just as perplexing as it varies from glass smooth to sandpaper rough over its surface. It is hard to tell what this strange egg might contain.
Continuum Egg: This large egg is probably one of the loveliest of the clutch. Gently blue, like sky at twilight is its primary color. Yet interlaced in the blue is a line of lilac purple that twists and turns in graceful loops and spirals. If you tried to follow this line with your finger, you would find it without beginning or end as it snakes along its unique path. The blue parts are silky smooth, but the purple line is bumpy, creating little furrows along its shell.
Warp Egg: This egg is on the small side, though not as small as some of its mates. Its color, however, is sure to raise eyebrows. Black as midnight makes this egg hard to see in the gloom. It may easily be missed by those who are not looking carefully. Tiny turquoise dots speckled the egg's base, yet as they start to elongated until they are swirling in a sea of black at the top. The pattern gives the illusion of stars spinning in the sky around you. It is a dizzying sight. The egg itself is smooth and much cooler than one might expect. There is no doubt, however, that it is very much alive.
Forever Egg: This egg hides behind the others, almost as if it does not want to be seen. It's very small and almost sad looking as it's huddle away from the others. It's color is quite plain. A dull, dreary brown that makes it look rather like it was dropped in mud after clutching. It's shell is quite rough and uneven, and almost clammy to touch. Though not many will like approach this lonely egg, those who do will find it surprisingly eager to come out.
Farryl likes egg babies. ^_^

Daimyo Clutch[/u]
Date Egg: This slightly small egg is seated closest to the exit...as if wanting to dash off. Its dark green shell is patterned with drops of golden yellow and swirls of light green. It will definitely call out to the ladies but will suffuse anyone who touches it with playful, excitable energy. This is one happy green egg.
Honda Egg: This egg is the largest of the clutch but for some reason is situated quite far from the center. Its smooth creamy shell darkens towards the bottom into a mottled brown. Small tan circles cover the top of this egg. This egg puts out a bold and calm energy when touched. Its emotions are extremely steady and firm. Trying to change this eggs emotions would be like pushing a mountain, completely useless.
Maeda Egg: This vibrant egg sits almost against the Nobunaga Egg as if daring it to complain. Its average sized shell feels warm and smooth. Its bright red surface is covered in random patterns of dark red, gold, rich brown and blue. Its emotions are a whirl of passion and energy. Those who touch it will feel more courageous. It enjoys the company of boys and girls alike. A feeling of smugness surfaces from it when the ladies stick around.
Nobunaga Egg: This large egg sits in the center of the clutch and simply commands attention. Its dark purple color is only broken by tiny speckles of crimson along its mid section. People do not need to feel this egg to sense the ambitious and powerful energy emanating from it. While it will feel warm for males it will heat up around females as if to discourage them. females that continue to touch though will feel the warmth subside and receive a feeling of self assured awareness. This egg knows what it desires.
Takeda Egg: This medium sized egg looks a bit bulky for its size. Its amber hued shell seems to ripple in light but close inspection shows that it is simply colored in many shades of yellow and orange. The shell is almost silky and when touched the egg readily gives out a friendly feeling to anyone.
Toyotomi Egg: This is the smallest egg of the clutch and almost leathery in appearance. Its dark brown surface is given its textured look from the lighter shades of brown and red streaking across it. From the top of this egg and flowing down is a fine dusting of minty green. People will probably be drawn to this egg out of curiousity only to find it has a very calculating mind. The sense of thoughtful cunning pervades the egg. It is not a malicious feeling....but very strong.
Uesugi Egg: This egg is completely average in size, shape and texture. Its bright turquoise shell is laced in thin squiggly black lines. Four amethyst colored ovals encircle the top like jewels set in stone. For all its flashy color though the presence inside is rather quiet. It seems to acknowledge everyone around it but refuses to disclose its feelings. This egg seems comfortable sitting between the Date Egg and the Takeda Egg.

Grammar Egg- The Grammar Egg is a very harsh egg. It is, first of all, a bright, bright red in color, all the way around. This red speaks of crushed creativity and stern criticism. It is not very cheerful, instead concentrating on something, anything, and finding mistakes. Most candidates choose to move on quickly once it seems to judge them and all of their hopes and dreams are placed forth, only to be judged harshly by this bright egg.
Though it is not very big, perhaps a step up from the Astronomy Egg, this egg holds a lot of sway with others for some reason. It is also pretty, to those who don't look past the shell or to those who enjoy its personality. It is a bright, pure crimson, with no markings to speak of, just that red. It is a red like the bright red of a rose, and this egg has just as many thorns.
Rhetoric Egg- The Rhetoric Egg. It seems to be everyone's favorite, even if they have no idea how it could be that way, or why. People are drawn to this egg like insects to honey, and charmed by it, lingering at this egg when others try to get around to other eggs before taking the plunge and stroking the egg's shell again and again, even if it isn't the prettiest of the eggs. In fact, it is the egg itself. It is a grandiose and complex egg, charming and persuasive, that draws all the attention. By no means as forceful as the Grammar Egg or as harsh as the Arithmetic Egg, the Rhetoric Egg is the most pleasing of the eggs in this clutch.
While it may have a great personality, however, this egg's shell might turn off others who were drawn so easily in by the Grammar Egg. This egg, in truth, is nothing special from afar. It is a mix of dull hues, and lacks any patterns as striking as that of the Geometry Egg. Instead, it has a base of a regular cream color and the mixing hues of browns and greens, though it does have a line of color, of white, dancing through it that seems more like words made into a pattern and then into a color.
Logic Egg-The Logic Egg is, to be frank, the biggest egg in the clutch. It is large and imposing, towering over the Music and Astronomy eggs especially. It is situated at the very center of the clutch, and guarded carefully, although whether it contains a queen or not is anyone's guess. It is a very commanding egg, over all, and seems to lord this over all of the other eggs. Its authority seems to be natural, though, as anyone who touches this egg can feel its pure intelligence shining through. The wher that hatches from this egg will be a force to be reckoned with.
Its color is very handsome, too, fitting for such a big and commanding egg. The first impression of this egg is shiny. Exactly what shade of shiny is indefinite, as the egg is so big that it is hard to see all of it at the same time. In the end, it takes on a sheen like that of an oil spill, all colors simultaneously, but still distinguishable from one another. It is an odd coloration for such an egg, especially in the dark, where it seems to glow faintly, but the egg itself will make you understand that it could be nothing less.
Geometry Egg-The Geometry Egg is a very sharp egg. It is quick and intelligent and calculating. Not as much as the Logic Egg, as it is a more plodding, methodical egg than any other egg. It seems like it has no opinion of any other eggs in the clutch, or any of the candidates that may touch it. Instead, it is absorbed in its own patterns and tracks, which it may never deviate from, even as it hatches. How much one likes this egg is a matter of opinion.
The Geometry Egg is a medium-sized egg, right in the middle and closest in size to the Grammar Egg. It is covered in geometric patterns and shapes, thus its name, in colors that are mostly red, yellow, and blue. This may make it seem gaudy, but the egg seems to feel that this is necessary. After all, if it was laid that way, why should it change?
Astronomy Egg- The Astronomy Egg is by far the most dreamy of all of the eggs in this clutch. It will not really pay attention to the candidates that approach it, preferring instead to just stare. It doesn’t seem very bright, but that is actually because some people find this egg’s lack of concentration make it seem insane. It is also the smallest egg of the clutch, just about half the size of the Logic Egg. It is a very calm egg, despite its perceived drawbacks.
The shell of the Astronomy Egg is extremely pretty and draws attention to it where its size can‘t. It has a base of deep, rich midnight blue, which is covered with tiny white pinpricks that always seem to be growing and shrinking in number. Any one who endeavors to count them will find that they can see only about two hundred at a time. Even so, some candidates will gaze at it for a while and not realize they are doing so, all in hopes of finding something new and exciting for themselves.

Indian Summer ClutchSummer Sun EggThe biggest egg in the clutch, the Summer Sun Egg lives up to its name: it is blindingly yellow-white and very difficult to look at, especially if a stray shaft of light happens to hit it. Seeming to radiate heat, it is also somewhat difficult to get close to, but the Wher inside does not seem to be unhappy about people being nearby. On the contrary, this egg tends to feel quite welcoming, if sometimes overpowering and a little demanding. Oddly, though, for its size and color, the Summer Sun Egg is not centered in the clutch- instead, it is pushed out to one edge, seemingly abandoned by its siblings (maybe due to its intense heat). Beach EggThe Beach Egg appears to be the Summer Sun Egg's smaller, drabber twin. Where the Summer Sun Egg is solid yellow, the Beach Egg is about half the larger egg's size and slightly closer to tan, and is covered with tiny black and brown speckles that give it a granulated appearance. On the very bottom, the Beach Egg fades to a deep blue-green. This fade can be seen because this egg lies on its side as if it is reaching out to the isolated Summer Sun Egg. The Wher within is a needy one, and will love Theirs unconditionally, but the Beach Egg is possibly the sweetest of the entire Clutch, the only egg without some sort of negative feeling. Limeade EggThe Limeade Egg is the second largest of the clutch, but is still significantly smaller than the Summer Sun Egg. Long and thin around the middle, this egg is a pleasant, cooling shade of light green speckled with rectangular touches of white. It has a slightly cool feel to its shell, and the Wher within also has a refreshing softness after the bright, sunny feelings from the rest of the clutch. However, the Limeade Wher also has a hint of acid- this Wher is sure to have a sharp wit once it hatches. The other eggs seem to cluster around the Limeade Egg, appreciating the coolness despite the tang. Picnic EggGrassy green on one side and red and white checked on the other, the Picnic Egg is a friendly looking little egg, second smallest in the clutch. It cuddles in close to the Ice Cream and Limeade Eggs, and seems very unwilling to leave them. However, it is a schitzophrenic little egg- clinging to its clutchmates and yet shunning the Summer Sun Egg, letting some candidates come close and sending others away with flashes of unreasonable annoyance. The Wher that emerges will certainly get along excellently with its Handler, but as of now, almost everything else about this Wher remains an unknown. Ice Cream EggA sugary sweet confection, the Ice Cream Egg is softly marbled in pastel pink, white and brown. It is nearly round, pointed only slightly at the top. It is middling in size, neither big nor small, and sits nearest the Beach Egg of all the eggs in the small cluster. It seems almost too sweet at first, overpowering some of the nearby eggs, especially the difficult Picnic Egg. However, anyone that lingers nearby too long will sense a dark, sensous side, possibly a dangerous one with the wrong Handler. Still, the smooth-shelled Ice Cream Egg is a pleasure to be around, and is sure to be one of the most popular of the clutch (after the Summer Sun Egg, of course). Potential egg to Tenlie, potential marks split between Tenlie and M'kai, please

Celestial[/I][/u] The OortThe Oort Egg is an enigmatic egg that swirls madly in shades of tan and grey. It really is an attractive egg after a fashion, but it also carries a wary look to it, as it reminds one of the origin of Thread after a fashion. Swirling busily across the shell, the colors of this egg can also make one a little dizzy if one stares at it too long. The shell's swirls are more or less evenly spaced across the surface, from end to end. But around the girth, the swirls are as random as they could possibly be and still be on the same shell. The texture of the shell is a tad rough, almost like running one's hands over rough stone. But it is warm to the touch, and invites you to lean in and listen to the murmurings within. It feels almost as if it is always churning and moving and thinking and … well … generally quite busy. But never without the moment to spend to acknowledge that someone is there and listening to its ruminations! Neither standoffish nor particularly friendly, this is a busy egg. Dark MatterGlittery and black with a silverish tint, the coloring of the shell leaves one confused more often than not. The color is uniform over the shell, but into an on itself it is the most random mass of coloring that one can behold. Is it black? Or is it silver? Or is it really even there? Due to the random changes in the color from point to point from black to silverblack and back again, it looks like a very rough egg indeed. Not to mention one that is very hard to see in low light conditions! Despite the rough looking nature of the Dark Matter egg, it is actually completely and totally smooth across the surface. Almost like blown glass. It is not only completely smooth, but it feels excruciatingly thin and fragile. Though the shell is not actually so fragile as it seems, it is still something that leaves most Candidates wary of leaning on the egg or touching too roughly. However that same smoothness also invites touching, that deep nothingness of color drawing one in until it is like to swallow you up and make you disappear. Whatever is in this egg, it is to all appearances all aware of what is there … including you. NebulaeIn stark raving contrast to the Dark Matter egg, the Nebulae Egg is a riot of metallic color. Shining and practically glowing with a shimmery surface, the hues of blue, red, pink, purple, and green are a riot of metallic pastels. Unordered in chaos, the colors on this egg also lend a textured effect making it look as rough as fresh hewn stone. But this only adds to its attractiveness indeed, as this sends whatever light there is glimmering in all directions. Flashy in contact, the Nebulae egg is, as well. It wants the attention, it wants everyone to notice it, fawn on it, worship it! It is the best thing in the whole clutch, it knows it, and it demands that everyone else acknowledge that superiority! The shell itself is actually just as rough to the touch as it appears, making for a hard surface to really run your hands over very often at all. The sheer amount of energy behind the shell of the egg makes it feel quite a bit warmer than the other eggs, almost as if whatever hatches from it will truly be a newborn star from the womb of gases that are true Nebulaes. To shine for the Galaxy to see. A Green WorldYet another swirling egg, the patterns that amass upon the Green World Egg are different. They seem to have a slower nature to them, as if completely relaxed, slowly, ever so slowly churning along. Rich blue and soft green mix freely across this shell, almost like oceans flowing around continental bodies who move even more slowly across the surface. Life seems to take its own pace here. A very laid back egg, the Green World egg is quite happy to just sit and watch and greet. It apparently has a very strong policy of sitting back and letting things happen … they will happen all on their own, after all. Nature has a way of working, and it is content to let it happen. The surface of the egg is between its rougher siblings and its smoother. The shell is not completely smooth, but it does have a slow undulation of small proportions that run along with the movements of the color. Completely peaceful, the Green World egg would be happy to have the Candidates just sit and visit with it for however long they were inclined to stay. The SingularitySwirls seem to be the overruling theme to these eggs, as the Singularity Egg is also swirled. All things in their own fashion, a circle being quite natural. The Singularity Egg, however, is in soft shades of tan and cream, with small, darker spots of brown dotted here and there. Giving the appearance of a whirlpool right in the center … or a Singularity … sucking down everything that ventures too near. Pulling the cream and tan and little brown blots down to the center of the swirl. This egg is more roundish than its siblings, having less of an oblong shape and more or a rounded one. Though it is not at all perfectly circular. In start contrast to what it looks like, the Singularity Egg is quite rebutting. It doesn't want anyone anywhere near it, and as if to reflect this, it is sitting off by itself at the edge of the clutch. Instead of drawing one in, it tries its best to kick Candidates away from its shell whenever they come to touch it. The shell itself is quite cool to the touch, though not entirely cool. Every great now and then the hatchling inside can be heard shifting around, betraying that it is, after all, quite alive. But it most certainly does not like intrusions! So go away, why don't you? ((Emoyan *just what he always wanted – not*))

Gladiator Egg: This egg is a rather imposing one. Although, like most wher eggs, it is rather lumpy and lopsided, it is a fairly good size, and it radiates aggression. There are gray streaks slashing across the entire shell, almost like claw marks. The rest of the shell is blood red. Some people say they can hear cheering when they get close to this egg, but maybe they're just imagining it.
Viking Egg: The blue-gray color of this egg evokes the ocean waves, and there are black and gray streaks at the bottom that some say look like dolphins. There is a rather dragon-shaped figure at the center of the egg, but this "dragon" has more than one pair of wings...maybe they're sails? Or maybe it's just a random blob. The crown of the egg is gray, and it almost looks like the egg is wearing a helmet.
Mongol Egg: The majority of this egg is a plain mix of brown and green. The shell looks dry, and after touching it some people feel the urge to treat their hands with oil. There are black spots in some places on the egg, gathered in groups. A band of brown circles the center of the egg, and the mark has an almost furry look to it.
Knight Egg: This egg is gray, but with an almost metallic tint, especially in the right lighting. There are also splotches of rusty red across the shell. On one side of the egg there is a green triangle shaped mark. Similarly to the Gladiator Egg, people hear things around this one, but this time it's the sound of clashing metal.
