"Lets go. Come on. Move it." Although the girl's voice was stern, her small taps were very gentle as she guided her companion through the crowd. It had taken about forever and a day to convince the young Goldrider to come to the Gather, and even longer to get her down from her Dragon. But all the work and sweat would be worth it soon, at least to Kaegan it would be, although Saraina secretly thought owning her own runner would be cool. For a girl nearing her twentieth year, the Goldrider wasn't acting very mature at the moment, in fact she had been whining the whole way there. Saying that all she had wanted to do was stay at her apartment until all of her burns had faded away, but Saraina wasn't budging an inch. Guiding the reluctant Kaegan to the pasture where the Equines and Bovines were being kept, the Senior Weyrling dropped her duties to guide and quickly jumped onto the makeshift gate, surveying the possible choices in horses.
"They're beautiful." Watching as the redhead appeared beside her near the fence, Sara saw that her expression did soften when the Weyrwoman began to think about owning one of these fine beasts. "Of course they are. I heard that some of these horses were purchased from Gina's family... those have to be good. Her father might not produce a lot of horses, but the ones he does are known pretty well.... not any famous ones mind you, but they are very pretty, and very sturdy." Both of the girls nodded in unison, although Sara nodded at her ability to remember this fact while Kaegan nodded only in interest. The weyrwoman hadn't known that Gina's family raised horses, another interesting fact she had learned this week.

"Where is that scamp Dash?"
Looking up from her crossed arms, Kaegan made her self more comfortable leaning against the Pen's fence. "I haven't a clue actually, hes probably off eating someth--" Balking slightly as an unexpected force hit her back, the Junior Weyrwoman squeaked loudly before looking over her shoulder at what had hit her. Laying in a small heap in the tall grass was the 'mandyr in question, summoned to her as if she had shouted his name. A nerve twitched in the tip of her nose as the Brown used her skirt as a ladder before launching himself up onto her shoulder with a strange gurgling noise. Beeuuuttiifffullll..... "Speak of the little devil." Offering her hand to Dash, Kaegan happily cuddled the 'Mandyr to her chest. He was an adorable, yet hyperactive, little bugger.
