(I do realize this is some degree of powerplay -- I do apologize, but I couldn't really write the post without it ^^; If you want me to change it in any way, please let me know <3)
I do not think this is the best idea you've had, J'ashmine...
Oh, hush. Just let me have my fun. I haven't bugged T'san in a while... I think it's about time he got a good dose of J'ash, don't you?
No.
Well, you're a party pooper.
J'ash popped his head past the curtain to look at the blue-green, who was lazily sprawled out on his couch. Can't you just go to sleep instead of causing mischief like the rest of the Weyr? You could get in a lot of trouble, you know.
"See you later, love," he chirped before immaturely sticking out his tongue, fully ignoring the Blue's concerns. He waved at his Bonded, turned, and darted out of his weyr.
The dirty blonde grinned deviously as he soundlessly crept to the neighbouring weyr's door, trying hard not to snicker. Mentally, he twisted his creepy knob up a few notches.
Oh, this was going to be so much fun.
Slowly, he reached out, grabbing the door handle with a solid grasp. Trying the handle, he found it unlocked, and quietly opened the door, trying to make as little sound as possible. Ninja, he thought, pleased with himself as he pulled the wooden door shut behind him noiselessly. He stood perfectly still for a few minutes, allowing his silvery eyes to adjust to the new lighting. There was a bit of light from the glows, not all that much. Hopefully, his neighbour was not asleep. Even though this was Selenitas, J'ash knew perfectly well that almost every rider's immediate reaction to being woken up by someone that had barged into their weyr was to kill. And, hopefully, T'san was here... It would be annoying and slightly embarrassing if he wasn't. Might save his hide, but it would be annoying.
He really didn't feel like being killed for this little stunt, although he wasn't entirely sure he would make it out alive. T'san had seemed like a fairly controlled person the last time they'd met, though, and J'ash was pretty much relying on it. But if T'san decided to attack J'ash, the thin-framed man wouldn't stand much of a chance. The Bronzerider was much more built than he was; his own lean build couldn't even compare to T'san's in strength. The risk was half the fun, though.
You're crazy.
I know~
Slowly, he walked forward, eyes peeled for any kind of movement. "T'san...~" he sung slowly, quietly, into the darkness. At least that wouldn't completely startle the Brownrider. Alhough it did sound rather creepy, even to his own ears. "T'saaaan...~~" he cooed again with his silky voice. He stopped not too far from the door. He had to be close enough, just in case he had to bolt. Really, he'd wanted to surprise the rider, but in the end he knew he'd probably get himself killed. So, this was the second best option.
"T'saaaaaaaaannn...~~"

T'san was probably one of the least dangerous riders to randomly wake up in the middle of the night. He didn't even sleep with a weapon near him, nevermind hiding one under his pillow. His reckless abandon was part of why he got a lot of cuts and scrapes for no real reason. He simply didn't bother to take extra care to avoid minor injuries. The man wasn't quite a pacifist but he didn't enjoy hurting others and he preferred to avoid it altogether. The brownrider also didn't flinch in the face of pain. A while back he had met F'lix and remained outwardly calm despite a clear threat to break his neck. So was J'ash in any danger entering his weyr at night? Not in the least.
At least, not from the man himself. As the door was opened the large brown dragon resting on his weyrledge cracked an eye open. He lidded his eyes with the first eyelid to limit their glow and opened the outer lids of both eyes to watch the intruder. it was highly likely that J'ash noticed the slightly muted glow of the brown's eyes but it didn't matter so much. He watched the human curiously. He wasn't approaching too close to the bed so that was okay. Sort of. Not that Dsoleth could actually reach J'ash but he could warn His. He could also attack Craivaruth to distract the weyrlingrider should he try anything funny. With the element of surprise and his strength he was pretty confident he could have Craivaruth at his mercy. If J'ash dared to take His' life the brown would damn well take his partner's life before suiciding.
It would have amazed the brownrider that anyone thought him dangerous when Dsoleth was the bloodthirsty one (at least when it came to protecting him) of the pair. The brownrider was happily curled up on his bed, one arm loosely thrown over a cream and orange feline. It was hard to tell if the cat had snuggled there after T'san fell asleep or if the brownrider had been holding the cat since the beginning. The feline was also asleep, tail twitching slightly as he dreamt feline dreams. The fourth member of the weyr was curled up near T'san's head. The blue firelizard's breath was coming out in a soft whistle. Nevroti made quite a contrast to the darkness of the weyr.
T'san's own dreams (which had turned a bit odd due to Dsoleth's influence) were interrupted by an amusing voice calling his name. The first time he mostly ignored it but the second one pulled him properly out of sleep and the third had him smiling faintly. A wake up call? How uncommon. Yet...the darkness even before opening his eyes told him it was still night. The voice...the voice was also familiar. Well, he could hardly keep pretending to be asleep with such an interesting thing going on. The brownrider careful moved his arm off Spice and didn't displace Nevroti so that they might continue to sleep.
Dsoleth's murderous thoughts stopped when T'san brushed his mind in reassurance. The kid didn't have the guts to attack him, asleep or not. He sat up in bed and yawned quietly, opening his eyes to peer at J'ash. The blanket falling away from his chest revealed he slept shirtless even in the cold. His neighbour was a bit of an odd one. Did he really want to know why the kid was in his weyr? "Yo J'ash. Whatcha doing here so late? Early? What time is it?" The man asked, calm tone and another yawn showing just how unbothered by a person randomly sneaking into his weyr he was. There were a couple other people he would have preferred to sneak into his weyr in the middle of the night but oh well.

The glow of Dsoleth's eye caught him off-guard in the middle of his calling. Well that was not something he had anticipated in his master plan... He wasn't planning on hurting T'san or anything, but his dragon might not approve of what he was going to do. In fact, he'd completely forgotten there would be a dragon - a large dragon - living here. It wasn't T'san he should've been worried about, it was the Brown that lounged close by.
I swear, if I get attacked because of you...
"T'saaan~" he sung as he practically skipped over to where the Brownrider was, taking the man's very bored-sounding voice and yawn as a challenge. Damn, he wasn't even annoyed in the slightest! J'ash was going to have to try a lot harder than that to get under this guy's skin, that was for sure. Thankfully, he had enough annoying juice in him to keep him going for a while. The Brown on the ledge was his only concern; he kept the dragon in his peripherals, just to be sure. The last thing he wanted was for Craivaruth to get dragged into this.
"It's about three, oouh kitty!" he exclaimed, easily sidetracked from the original question. He bent slightly with his hands resting just above his knees to support him. He looked at the feline with curiosity. Even though this creature was much smaller than the wild felines that roamed Pern, J'ash didn't dare touch it, despite its cuteness. He knew all too well how vicious those could be.
His gray eyes darted over to look at the man he was supposed to be bothering. Ah... So he slept shirtless. A corner of J'ash's mouth turned up deviously as he took a closer look at what was on display (whether T'san wanted it to be or not). This would definitely make J'ash's part a whole lot easier, as T'san was actually very attractive.
"Bored," he answered simply, plopping down on the edge of his bed. Not hard enough to really disturb any of the creatures sleeping on it, he wasn't rude enough to bother more than one thing at a time. "Need entertainment. Decided you would be my victim tonight," he smirked at T'san, a hand coming up to twine in his own blondish hair absently. What exactly J'ash was going to do, he didn't know; but he was rather good at flirting, so that was his general guideline. Besides, if T'san wasn't interested at all, he would just get annoyed, and J'ash would get what he came for - a reaction - and leave.
"You look... very appealing, after just having woken up," J'ash stated, initiating his plan, drawing his eyes up to T'san's sleepy face.

Anger was one of T'san's lesser known emotions. Admitedly it had become a little more practiced because of Aliene but by and large he was the same old person he always was. Even annoyance was fairly uncommon for the man. The sing-songing of his name brought only amusement as he watched J'ash move closer. His gaze flicked towards his feline and firelizard. Thankfully both were fairly deep asleep. Nevroti typically tired himself out throughout the day and Spice he played with until the cat was about ready to drop.
He winced at his neighbour's exclamation all the same. He had somewhat sensitive ears upon first waking up, thanks. And seriously? Three in the morning. "Early then.' He'd mostly been asking rhetorically about the time but whatever. Good to know one way or another. At least at three in the morning it was highly unlikely anyone else would come barging into his weyr. Not that T'san ever minded visitors. Contrary to his personality, his place was relatively neat. Had to be when you had a super playful feline. That meant unexpected guests wouldn't be visiting a pigsty and he could freely enjoy their company.
T'san, however, didn't want a repeat of a certain incident at the beach with his current interest. Random people in his weyr late at night? Yeah that might 'cause some misunderstandings. The man blinked as he suddenly realized that J'ash was looking at him. Checking him out was a better term for what the other rider was doing. Ho? Interesting. The man didn't mind being checked out really. It didn't offend him in the least. Didn't it mean he was attractive? Then he ought to be flattered, not pissed off! He hadn't been aware of J'ash's interest in men though. He personally swung both ways with a preference for the fairer sex.
When J'ash sat down, T'san listened to the other guy's explanation. Oh? Victim was he? The man hid a smirk with a rather well-faked yawn. If J'ash had come looking for reactions from T'san he had certainly picked the wrong victim. T'san himself liked to ellicit reactions from people and he liked to do so with a bit of flare. Suddenly the whole night had become a game and the brownrider had every intention of winning. Quite frankly, T'san was rather shameless. He could - and most importantly, would - go farther than the average person for a good laugh or an interesting reaction from someone.
J'ash might not have known what he got himself into when he initiated the flirting. T'san blinked as if in surprise. "Is that so? Hold on a sec." It was a rhetorical question with a command attached. He stood up and scooped the feline up off the bed. Spice stirred a bit but was so accustomed to cuddles that he didn't mind. The brownrider set him down near Dsoleth before going back for Nevroti. The blue he settled on a high shelf. Neither of his pets woke up fully, if at all. Nothing to bother him while he had his fun. The movement of his pets took no more than half a minute and he turned his attention back to J'ash.
The brownrider moved to stand directly in front of the weyrlingrider and he smiled. He took one further step forward, his leg finding it's way between J'ash's knees but no further. He leaned forward and repeated, "Is that so." His voice was just barely above a whisper. Suddenly he put his hands on J'ash's shoulders and pushed him backwards onto the bed. "You're kinda cute yourself. Invading weyrs in the middle of the night, such a naughty boy," he added in a coo. One hand took up a position next to J'ash's head while his left hand trailed lightly along J'ash's arm to trap that arm. T'san wasn't novice enough to let the boy have his way. In his mind, Dsoleth radiated amusement.

Slightly irked, J'ash's eyes narrowed at T'san. Did he really just yawn? Oho, he was asking for it.
"Ah," J'ash watched the Brownrider through curious eyes as the man busied himself with removing his pets from the bed. Oh, what was this..? Clearing space? J'ash blinked. What..? T'san couldn't possibly want to... He watched as T'san turned back to him and stalked forward. His eyes widened as the older male nudged a leg between his own. He fell backwards onto the bed after being shoved, a bit too shocked to do anything.
J'ash stared at the approaching Brownrider in shock for a moment, before smirking darkly. Half-lidded eyes focused on T'san's face as the man captured one of his wrists, leaning above him. "Hnn," he let out a low, pleased sound. "Dominant. I like it."
No, he was pretty sure T'san didn't want him (at least, not yet). He was just trying to screw with him, non-literally. That meant T'san was just toying with him for fun. J'ash was intending on playing a game tonight anyways, although this one in particular was turning out to be different than the one he had originally envisioned. Nevertheless, he definitely wanted to win.
Even if T'san wasn't all that interested in men, J'ash could potentially still get T'san attracted to him. He was quite feminine, after all, and hella attractive - thin, mostly-hairless build, muscled in a lean sense, nicely tanned skin, soft lips and skin, a nicely shaped nose, beautiful hair (he frilled at that one, taking much pride in his hair), and to-die-for silvery eyes. Plus, he was one hell of a flirt.
He batted his eyelashes at T'san, keeping a teasing expression on his face (although he actually just wanted to laugh - who actually batted their eyelashes for real?). "Why thank you. I do take pride in my beauty." He forced his gray eyes to lock onto T'san's hazel ones with a darkly playful look. Slowly, as he talked, his free hand came up to lightly graze against T'san's ribs. The hand slowly, seductively worked its way up his back and neck and into his hair, where J'ash entwined his fingers in the light-brown locks. He spoke with his silky voice, words threaded with playfulness. "Naughty, hmm?" His pink tongue darted out to moisten his lips teasingly. "I take it you want to see just how naughty I can be."
He applied a bit of pressure to the back of T'san's head to bring his face slightly closer to his own. "I just hope we don't wake your neighbour." Singular, since he himself was one of T'san's neighbours. And he certainly wouldn't be disturbing himself if they were to do anything. J'ash actually looked forward to it. Maybe he could get T'san to cave!

T'san shifted his weight to the hand around J'ash's wrist. It wasn't an attempt to hurt him (though surface underneath was soft anyways) but a way to free up his other hand. He leaned down a little more and hummed in pleasure. "I'm glad," he murmured, using his free hand to caress J'ash's face. The brownrider was definitely invested in the little game. The techniques he was using had been used before. Mostly on his ex-weyrmate back at Fort but whatever. J'ash was responding, if only to challenge T'san back.
The brownrider examined his prey curiously and came to the conclusion that J'ash was very girly. He barely resisted the urge to snort in amusement. All the weyrling was missing were breasts. Which was precisely why he was not T'san's type. There was something a little weird about a man being too much like a woman in his mind. Not to mention J'ash's personality and his...well it didn't exactly clash (like his and F'lix's) but the other guy wasn't someone he wanted to hang around with overly much. There was a reason opposites attracted. He was okay with a friend like himself, but a lover? Neeeeh....
The batting of the lashes brought a smirk to T'san's face. It wasn't flirty, or even particularily amused. No, it was a mocking smirk that only increased as J'ash's hand moved along his ribs. He barely managed not to twitch at the ticklish sensation that caused. The hand made it's way to his neck and into his hair and did everyone instinctively go for his weakness? The brownrider loved to have his hair played with. The hand in his hair would have to go. Too distracting. As evidence by the head pull. The words made him snort, ruining the whole act. Either J'ash was playing back or genuinely wanted him.
T'san snatched the wrist attached to the hand in his hair. He folded both of J'ash's arms over the other guy's chest and flopped on him, chin resting on his own crossed arms. "Not really," he said in response, grinning at the weyrlingrider. "Also, I'm pretty sure K'thay would kill me if I woke him up at this hour." T'san waited a moment longer before getting off J'ash and back a couple steps. He was really curious what the blueweyrling would do then.

It seemed that T'san was going along with it, for now. J'ash's eyes closed as a hand caressed his face... The blonde subconsciously moved into the touch. The Brownrider certainly did know how to use a simple touch effectively. Damnit, he couldn't enjoy this for real! Otherwise, T'san would win!
Once the contact had ceased, J'ash opened his eyes, staring stubbornly into the face of a smirking T'san. The faintest dusting of pink sat on his cheeks, his expression ever so slightly one of annoyance. Fine, so T'san had managed to completely distract J'ash for a minute with a touch. So what? That didn't mean he'd won anything. Pah, no, the game practically needed to start!
Hmm, the Brownrider certainly seemed to enjoy the hand in his hair. The silver-eyed man smiled deviously at this discovery. J'ash didn't laugh, though; he rather understood the older man. Having his hair played with drove him crazy, too. (As did any attention spared to his ears and neck.) He was particularly protective of his hair, though, and hardly let anyone touch it unless it was someone he was being intimate with.
This apparently seemed to be the case with T'san as well. J'ash grinned as the older man pulled his hand away from his hair. Too much for him to handle? Maybe so. His momentary satisfaction was interrupted by suddenly being squished underneath T'san, his wandering, teasing hands and arms pinned between them. All of his breath left him momentarily, and J'ash struggled a little to inhale. It wasn't that uncomfortable, actually; the Brownrider had just taken him by surprise. "No fair, you're a lot heavier than I am!" His voice sounded the slightest bit strained with T'san's weight on him, but he didn't particularly mind. It was actually kind of fun.
The game was less seductive and more playful, at the moment. Temporarily. J'ash grinned with amusement at T'san's words instead of being upset. He secretly knew T'san was a lost cause, and didn't much care about his previous flirt being rejected, really. He said nothing in response for a moment, particularly because he didn't know K'thay. "Well, as long as he kills you, not me." A playful grin accompanied by the gentle shrug of a shoulder.
Amused gray eyes watched T'san get off him and take a few steps back from the bed. "Having a sudden change of heart, T'san?" he purred, a hand coming up to ruffle his blondish hair absently, just watching the older man stand there. Heh, perhaps he should just wait here a moment, make the other rider feel awkward...
J'ash waited that moment, but didn't take too long. (He didn't want T'san angry with him - he hated it when people were angry with him.) Slowly, J'ash propped himself up on his elbows, head tilted slightly. His legs moseyed their way to the edge of the bed, pulling his whole form into a lazy sitting position. Sighing, he pressed on his bent knees to stand up, looking particularly bored - almost like he was about to leave. No sex, no J'ash. (Or, at least, no flirting, no J'ash.)
Suddenly, J'ash pounced. Onto T'san.
Although he was lighter than the Brownrider, his momentum was probably enough to knock him down to the floor. That was J'ash's intention, anyway. A large, scheming grin spread on his face; he cackled, fingers danced wildly, trying to get as close to T'san's armpits as he could get.
He reaaaaally hoped T'san wasn't a sweaty guy. That would be, just, ew.

The brownrider was quite amused with J'ash's response to his caress. It seemed that he knew how to play the game at least a little better than his neighbour. The ultimate winner wasn't affected at all, but they were both sane humans so showing the least reaction would make either of them the winner. J'ash seemed a bit slow out the gate, in the brownrider's mind. The blueweyrling was going for slow, subtle moves while T'san was making the more aggresive ones. If the other person didn't play back with equal force the game tended to get bored quick.
T'san wondered idly how long he would have kept playing if his amusement hadn't gotten the better of him. Not much point in thinking about it though, since it was already over in his mind. he did have fun squishing the other guy though. The reaction brought a faint smile to his face. Heavier than J'ash was? That was the pooooint. Squish squish. It was also a very easy way to make sure J'ash didn't do anything unwanted. Some flirting back was allowed but to keep the upperhand he couldn't give up too much control, whether he was continuing the game or not.
The brownrider looked thoughtful for a moment as he considered J'ash's words. "Well, since you would be a contributing factor he may well kill you too. I don't imagine you're suicidal?" The tone was innocent enough but there was a slight smirk on his face. So he wasn't playing the game in quite the same way but he hadn't let it drop completely. Yet. He hummed a non-committal sound at J'ash's question about a change of heart. Given that they had just been playing the brownrider didn't think the question was anything more than rhetoric.
Perhaps it was his lack of response but J'ash looked ready to leave. That suited T'san well enough. He was still kind of sleepy and it was way too early to do much of anything. In the next moment though he found himself being pounced by J'ash. Had he been expecting it he might have been able to hold his ground. As it was, the surprise tackle worked and T'san fell underneath J'ash. Pain exploded behind his eyes as his head bounced slightly on the floor. It wasn't a serious injury since he'd attempted to avoid hitting his head as soon as he knew he was going down but it hurt all the same.
It left T'san dazed and unable to do anything against the fingers that sought to tickle him. Whether it was because of the pain or the fact that he really just wasn't ticklish under his arms the tickling failed. The large brown dragon hissed quietly in warning. His had been hurt, couldn't he see that? Accident though it might have been J'ash still had to take responsibilty for inflicting any pain on His. The fact that it was an accident was probably the only thing that kept Dsoleth from getting too angry. T'san grimaced and said, "I'm heavier yet you still knock me over."

T'san seemed to be getting smugger by the minute. Maybe he thought he'd won the game. (You just lost the game.) Well, then. It was time to come up with something new, something that would put him back in the running. His main approach obviously wasn't working against the Brownrider. A brow quirked slightly at T'san's comment. Amused, J'ash smirked at the man. "No, not particularly suicidal, though I'm sure you wish I was," he joked, sticking out his tongue in a kiddish manner.
J'ash's fingers quickly came to a stop against T'san's sides as he realized that the Brownrider was not responding the way he wanted him to; rather, he looked like he was in pain. J'ash's expression turned from one of playfulness to one twinged with regret as he tilted his head to briefly look at Dsoleth. At least the Brown wasn't about to kill him, but he could tell the dragon was reconsidering. J'ash had only wanted to surprise the Brownrider, not hurt him.
J'ash quickly looked over the man below him. Well, he wasn't bleeding, that was good. Didn't seem to be any sort of injury he could see. Then, an idea struck him. Although he was still worried about T'san, he could take this as an opportunity to get the upper hand in the game.
Still straddling T'san's waist, his thighs and knees were pressed securely against the Brownrider's stomach and flanks. If he really wanted to, the older man would easily be able to throw him off, but J'ash wanted to keep the advantage of being higher. Leaning forward, he placed his right hand next to T'san's head to support his weight, and snaked his left to the back of T'san's head, lifting it up slightly. His fingers wound through his brown hair, gently carressing with his fingertips. "Sorry, I didn't mean for you to hit your head," he apologized, genuine concern in his gray eyes. He really did hope that T'san wasn't hurt. Maybe his actions would help the pain go away - he knew T'san loved having his hair touched, after all. At T'san's comment, a splash of relief hit him.
"I just wanted to tickle you, but I guess you aren't ticklish," a friendly smile stretched his face, his fingers playing with the hair more now. T'san's hair was nice, he had to admit. He did so like playing with it.

For a brief moment T’san’s expression approached something perilously close to seriousness. He wasn’t terribly fond of others saying he wished them dead, even in jest. There were no people he could think of that he wanted dead. The only thing he cared to ever see die was Thread and that was because the man truly hated the organism. He still thought it a bit of a shame he’d been moved to a non-Threadfighting wing. Oh well. He’d adapt as he always had. Speaking of his wing, there were drills later that day. If he was to survive the training he’d need more sleep.
Talk about kicking a man already down. J’ash proved himself unmerciful in the game. The failed tickling was over but he’d begun to attack his hair. As the brushed over the part of his head that met the floor the brownrider fought down a growl. Not really helping, gentle as the touch was meant to be. The fact remained that the weight of T’san’s head was resting in the weyrling’s hand. The brownrider wouldn’t deny that he liked his hair being played with, despite the pain. But. There was a very big but there. There was a certain emotional connection he preferred when people played with his hair. J’ash wasn’t someone close to him. There was very little camaraderie between them.
That and he didn’t want to lose the game. “Says the guy taking advantage of the situation. Remind me not to get drunk near you. Faranth knows what would happen to me,” he said wryly, sitting up enough to move his head away from J’ash’s hand (or have the other risk further pain if he held onto his hair). “No, not terribly ticklish. T’san searched the weyrling’s face for a moment before deciding he’d call the game a draw for the night. He slipped his arms behind J’ash’s legs and managed to stand up. The brownrider took his guest to the door and turned the handle.
“That was fun but you gotta go now.” T’san let go of J’ash’s legs and made sure his uninvited guest would be staying outside the door before he shut it and locked it. He took the extra energy to return his pets to where they’d been before he flopped back into bed gracelessly and settled in for the remainder of the night. Dsoleth grumbled slightly on his ledge and continued to watch the door until his eyes slid closed. T’san was really hoping J’ash didn’t know lock-picking. That would be bad.
