Sprawled out over the warm, rough rock below him, Craivaruth tried to catch all the sunlight he could. His long wings were stretched over the rock, seeming as though he was actually hugging it. Tail flicking like an ungainly metronome, tip barely grazing the sand of the beach below, Craivaruth was letting loose. Experiencing the wind on a bronze's back was thrilling, and he couldn't wait to make that same thrill on his own, but it would take him a while yet to learn to fly, and there was this warm spot on a beach just calling to him..! Snorting lazily, Craivaruth shifted his grip on the rock.
He had hardly been on his own before - and oh, he was enjoying it. Especially without that mudball flit trying to break a headknob off every chance he got. Yes, the relationship between the dragon and the newborn firelizard was improving, but at a very slow pace. It would take some time for them to fully tolerate each other.
He needed this break to cool his engines. Craivaruth, having an aggressive mindset, was getting easier and easier to rile up.
Alone time was a good thing.
J'ash's words hung in his memory. 'Why don't you try to make a new friend, or something? Interact with someone. Just make sure you don't stay out in the sun too long.'
Lifting a heavy head from the comfort of his sizzling rock, Craivaruth gazed toward the nearby shoreline, eyes half-lidded against the bright sun, pupils contracted to catty pinpricks. He felt so lazy, too lazy, with the abusive Rukbat beating down on him. Eyes drooping some more, the Blue let his head drop to the rock again. Lids drew closed over ocean-blue eyes. Let them come to me if they want to be friends, then. And I'll just wait for it to rain. Won't get heatstroke then.[/i][/b]
With that, the blue-green began to drift off into a lazy half-asleep state, not really caring what was going on around him.
