The Main Hall was crowded and busy when G'tor arrived. That wasn't unusual for the lunch hour. People were rushing around to get their meal and then hurrying on to lessons, chores, drills, or whatever else had to be done. G'tor looked over the sea of heads and sighed worriedly. He'd tried everywhere else he could think of and this was the only place left. It was going to be worse then finding a needle in a haystack.
Tervain curled around G'tor's neck as he started to waved through the tables and chairs. She crooned sadly, not really her usual self. She felt bad for not keeping a better look out for her kin. "Don't worry, love," G'tor whispered soothingly. "She probably just fell asleep somewhere." Of course, what really had him worried was where that could be.
Did you find her? Ruskeath asked in concern. His bulk blocked on of the windows as he lingered outside. Not yet, G'tor replied. She must be here somewhere. He started looking over people's shoulders at they're food, trying to to appear conspicuous. It was an embarrassing problem, and he really didn't want to trouble anyone if he didn't have too. "Star?" he hissed, not that it would help if she was sleeping off a food binge. "Where are you?"

Sari, having just eaten, had a precious hour before she should start doing her chores. She didn't feel like she would, however, and would probably wait until later. It could have just been the post-lunch drowsiness, she supposed. Or maybe it was keeping track of her two trouble-making men that had her all worked up. Mika, of course, was nothing but sweet.
She'd spent most of her lunch time trying to keep Dusk and Lazuli from making a mess. The two little fire lizards had buzzed around her head like flies while she ate. She had tried feeding them before lunch, but that post-dinner drowsiness didn't seem to affect the two boys. Mika, however, was curled up on her shoulder, her tail wrapped affectionately around Sari's arm and her head nuzzled into her neck.
The food seemed to have only energized Dusk and Lazuli, however. The two had gotten along well since Lazuli had hatched, and Dusk seemed to really really like Mika. She was happy he was so happy, but the two mischievous ceatures seemed to feed off each other's excitement. She was too kindhearted to bring it down, always confusing asseriveness with agression, and settling on being passive.
The main hall was rather crowded, so she gestured for her fire lizards to calm down. They didn't notice her, so she spoke up. "Why don't you two come over to me, hmm?" Neither saw the reason behind this request. However, being an obedient little creature, Lazuli landed in her hair. The big blue flopped around for a moment, getting comfy, until her hair was a mess. Sari didn't mind. Two down, one to go.
Dusk, however, had no intention of following her request. Lazuli may have looked up to the older fire lizard, but Dusk had a will of his own. He chirped angrilly at Sari, refusing to rest. He flew away, and turned his head around. He didn't turn in time to avoid collision with an anxious dragon rider. It must have hurt, as Dusk was a large, powerful, awkward creature. Sari gasped and rushed forward.
"Oh dear! Are you okay? I'm so sorry!" She picked Dusk up and held him in her arms, half to calm him down, half to restrain him. She was right to do so, knowing her finiky fire lizard all too well. He tried to escape her arms, to give that pretentious man a talking to. Eventually, he gave up and just gave his angry speech from her arms, creeling and chirping loudly. How dare that awful man be in his path! How dare his apologize for him! How dare his be concerned with the health of this bad bad man when he could have been injured! Sari stroked his hide, letting out a soft crooning sound. Dusk calmed down eventually, and proceeded to simply glare at G'tor.

Get better, do better, be better! Shards if she wasn't going to tired herself out between Wing Drills, Searches, Watch duty and training on her own personal time. Not to mention having to take care of Tidus every two day or so, if she didn't work the stallion hard he got very nippy with the stablehands. The Bluerider was seriously considering asking the beastcrafter to geld the monstrous black. Sighing, she pushed the odds and ends of her soup around the bottom of her bowl. Zor tilted his head slightly before chirping, he hopped onto her shoulder a moment later What she wanted right now was to curl up on a blanket in the sun next to Hokth and Soleil and take a nap. Shoveling the rest of the vegetables into her mouth, Saraina felt a presence near her shoulder. She knit her eyebrows together and turned slightly, relaxing a bit when she saw who it had been. He had already moved onto the next person. "Oi, G'tor. Looking for something? Or are you just trying to look down people's shirts?" She offered the man a toying grin, although she didn't fail to notice he looked a bit off.
Standing up so she could shake his hand in greeting, the Bluerider had only just swung her leg over the bench when a Firelizard collided with the man. Startled, Sara extended her hands in case the Brownrider stumbled backward. Removing herself from the rest of the bench, she heard Zor hiss unhappily at the angry male. After making sure G'tor was stable, she lightly leaned on his shoulder using her elbow. Years of having a dubious background let her invade personal space without a second thought. Although she had trained with G'tor for months, and because of that she felt more inclined to be less serious around him. "'Ey now. Is this..." She paused and looked the girl over, "youngin' causing ya' trouble, Wingsecond? I could take care of 'er for ya'." And although her face settled in an almost malicious grin, it never reached her eyes. The blade on her belt was painfully obvious in contrast to her black, form fitted clothing. Zor sighed heavily, loud enough to express his exasperation with His. Sara enjoyed messing with people, and the little Blue blamed it all on that Dragon of her's.
The bluerider waited in silence for a few moments before directing her attention back onto G'tor, never really the one for manners. In fact someone had once said that the only substitute for manners were good reflexes, and it was something the rider had lived by, except of course in Wing Training. Military like duties always recieved the entirety of her mannerisms. "Wats got your britches in a bundle? Never answered me that." She never bothered to correct the way she spoke, it was the only thing that remained of her previous life. Her only link to the darker parts of Southern Hold. Boy did she miss the simple life of stealing things. Maybe not as exciting as a Dragonriding, but it had a thrill all to its own. "Look'd as if ya were lookin' for some'un." Zor, only having just noticed the female wrapped around the Brownrider's neck, chirped happily at her. She looked sad. She shouldn't be sad. He could help her be less sad if she told him what was wrong. Chirping again, he leapt off of Saraina's shoulder, only to alight on the shoulder closest to G'tor. He grabbed His's ear with his paw to balance himself, this being one of the many reasons his Human never wore any shiny danglies in her ear.

G'tor was too focused on his mission, that he barely noticed the people he was moving around. At the sound of his name he jumped and turned his head. "What? Shirts?" he blurted in confusion. What did shirts have to do with anything? "Oh, Sara it's you." He recognized her almost at once. She'd been on his wing under Ka'rys, though certainly she wasn't anymore. She was far too skilled to be put in with the greenhands he was in charge of now. Not that he minded. He'd always been fond of the younger riders and weyrlings. At the moment, however, wings were far from his mind. "Have you seen..."
G'tor didn't get to finish the sentance as a brown blur slammed into him. For a second he thought he'd tople over, but Saraina was there to help steady him. "Ow! What the...?" Tervain practically exploded with anger. How dare that stupid brown attack her pet?! How dare he interrupt they're very important mission?! He was going to regret the day he ever hatched by the time she got through with him! She chattered loudly and wildly and looked about ready to leap at dusk and teach him a lesson with claws and teeth.
G'tor was touch a hand to his face, where Dusk had left a few small scratches. He was a little befuddled, suddenly finding himself caught between two women, though one of them quite young, at the same time. "Take care of...? Oh, no. I'm fine. Really," He assured them both. He raised one hand in front of him while he used the other to try and calm Tervain down. So much for finding his salamandyr without making a fuss. Not that the fuss had really been his fault. Normally he might have been more concerned about Dusk and the girl, but he was too preoccupied at the moment.
"Well, um," he admitted, feeling a bit sheepish. "If you must know, I seem to have lost my salamandyr." He glanced around again, as if hoping she might appear out of no where, which was entirely possible. Star could between and that was how she got into half these messes. To make matters worse, she was tiny enough to fit inside someone's mouth. He couldn't bear the thought of someone eating her by accident. Tervain gave Zor a withering sideways glance. He was better then Dusk, she'd give him that, but she was in no mood to be coddle. She trilled back irritably that she could take care of her own problems, thank you very much.

The woman beside the man asked if she was bothering him. Sari blushed. “Oh, no, I…” she said in an almost inaudible voice. The man denied this, saying he was fine. “I really, really, am sorry. Dusk can be a bit clumsy.” Dusk hissed unhappily at this comment. He confessed that he had lost his salamandyr. “Oh, please let me help! It’s the least I could do…oh, shells, I’m so sorry!” She said, noticing the small scratches on G’tor.
Dusk glared at the little green, creeling challenges at her. Seeing that Dusk was agitated, Sari grabbed him out of the air, holding him (and restraining him). She wasn’t in the mood to see her pugnacious fire lizard get into a fight. Though he was awkward and far from agile, he was very strong, especially his short, thick legs. It gave him a masculine look, not a very pleasant one, but masculine nonetheless, drastically contrasting his pinkish coloring. Luckily, Sara had been there to protect him from falling, but Dusk could easily have bowled the distracted man over.
Mika, who seemed to be awake from all this noise, glanced around at the situation. With a bemused chirp, Lazuli filled her in on what had happened. She launched herself off of Sari’s shoulders, forgetting not to dig her claws into the skin as she did so. Sari winced lightly as Mika lectured Dusk about being nice and looking where he was going. Mika, who was large for her color (as were Dusk and Lazuli, coincidentally), was rather graceful, surprisingly. She glided over to G’tor.
She frantically chirped an apology at both him and the poor little green. She was so sorry for his behavior, he was very naughty, and had no manners. She hoped he hadn’t hurt G’tor or offended Tervain. He didn’t mean to be so angry with them for his mistake. Of course he had, but this was no longer important to him. Dusk hung his head, upset that Mika was apologizing for him. Wanting to please her, he echoed her apology. And yes, he was naughty, and had no manners. He looked to her for approval, and she crooned happily.
It was somewhat insincere, but in the presence of her disapproval, Sari knew he would behave. She lightened her hold on him just as Mika landed back on her shoulder-throne, and he hovered in the air beside her. From her hair, Lazuli chirped with amusement. Dusk, though his role model, could be very very funny. Silly Dusk, silly, silly Dusk. Dusk was about to hiss at him until Mika chirped in agreement. Silly Dusk indeed. The little flit simply nodded.

"If you say so." Shrugging slightly as the Bluerider shifted her position, removing her arm from G'tor's shoulder she glanced at the agitated Green on his shoulder. New pet? Or maybe she had just never noticed the female before. Tucking her thumbs into her belt loops, Saraina rocked back onto the balls of her feet before putting them firmly on the ground. The younger girl's profuse apologizing was getting a little annoying. Even when the Wingsecond announced that his Salamandyr was missing she insisted on throwing a sorry in there. "Listen girly, if 'e was angry about it you would know. I'm thinkin the first apology was good 'nough. 'E's a nice guy. I'm sure 'e's alreadeh forgiven you." She immediately looked to G'tor, leaving no room for response. "Ah shards. Star is missin'? She's just a tiny thing." Rubbing her chin for a moment the Bluerider tapped her cheek before planting her hand on her hip. "Well, you know Scipio is one o' the best trackers. Zor an' 'e can help ya find 'er. If ya be wantin' the help of course. Don't want ta bother ya if its a 'ole solo mission or somethin." A pause. "And with 'er, you'll be gettin seven sets o' eyes."
Fluttering his wings, the dark Blue chittered back at Tervain apologetically. All he wanted to do was help, he didn't mean to offend her. Wobbling as his Human moved, Zor straightened himself out before returning his attention onto the Green. But... now there were two Greens. He was momentarily confused before he sorted out that the new female had come from the human female that was not His. He chirped. At least Greens weren't starting to multiply, if they had been he wouldn't know what to do. He'd probably drowned in the amounts of them. Clinging to Sara, he looked up at her when she mentioned his name. Oh, oh? Was she going to ask him to do something? He wanted to help. Especially if it made the upset Green happy. Thumping his tail against Sara's back, Zor continued to gaze expectantly at His.

G'tor sighed. He wasn't that scary, was he? Well, he supposed to a candidate he might be. He was wearing rank knots after all. But he'd never thought he was intimidating or anything and the girl seemed awfully nervous around him. Saraina probably wasn't helping that, but that was the way she was. "I'm fine," G'tor insisted firmly. "I get worse from Tervain." He waved at the green on his shoulder who glared in indignation. The insult went unrequited, because more important matters were afoot.
"I'd welcome the help," he admitted to both of them. "I don't like not knowing where she is." He'd been hoping to find her before attracting attention, but now that he had he was almost relieved to have more people looking. Now maybe they could find Star before someone ate her. He looked at Sari uncertainly, wondering if she even knew what she was getting into. "Have you seen a salamandyr before?" She probably had by now, but he wanted to be sure. "Star is tiny and white." He pointed to his pinky finger to demonstrate the size, which was really even smaller then that. "And she likes food, so she's probably here somewhere."
Tervain gave Mika a polite series of chirps. She appreciated the others apology, but she expected the brown to learn better manners next time. At least he was learning quickly. She sniffed at him in disdain, but let the matter go for now. Zor got a withering look. Tervain wasn't sure why she needed help at all. She was more then capable in her opinion. But if they were going to help, she supposed they'd better get started. She sent them all a quick picture of Star and barked that they'd better get going before she lost patience with them.

"If you're sure..." Sari didn't find the rider scary. It was just in her nature to apologize and apologize, especially t those older than her. "She's so small! No wonder it's so hard to find her." Dusk stiffened at Tervain's orders. No one ordered him around! Sensing his anger, Mika looked at him sternly. Well, no one but Mika. The pink fire lizard flew past the humans, looking around for anything small and white.
Lazuli's eyes whirled with amusement as he took off. He didn't mind being ordered around, especially not by such a pretty green. He loved female fire lizards, especially cuddling with them. He dropped back to Sari's shoulder for a moment, nuzzling her and sending her a picture of the green. Very used to his attraction to green fire lizards, Sari nodded. He was an affectionate thing, and loved recieving affection, especially from his and green fire lizards (though not Mika, of course. She was his stupid sister), but Sari doubted this one would give him much liking, regardless of his persuasive sweetness.
Good thing that Lazuli wasn't easilly hurt, and would soon enough find several greens who wouldn't mind cuddling with him. Lazuli thanked her with a chirp, not sarcastically for her lack of support, but sincerely for being so sure of his powers of persuasion, and his feminine, dark beauty. Since when did you become so overly confident? Sari wondered, but he merely chirped jokingly. He took off and flew towards where the food was prepared, knowing it to be one of his favorite places to score some snacks.
Mika sighed at her two brothers. They were such a handful! Dusk was so rude, and Lazuli was so affectionate. Surprisingly, this could be quite a difficult trait as well. Mika nodded at Tervain. She was trying to teach him some, and he was a very slow learner, actually. She chirped cheerfully, happy to be of assistance as always, and glided over a few tables with unmatchable grace.

"Well, I be good friends witha couple o' the cooks. I'll go see if I can sniff 'round a bit in there, see if yer Star is sittin' in tha source o' tha food. She does liketa eat." Offering her hand to Zor, she watched as he climbed onto it with a chirp, obviously glad to be relieved of trying to explain himself to the Green. "Zor, get Scipio fer me. Then send'im to me in tha kitchens, you're gonna stay out here an' 'elp these two. If ye need 'im G'tor just wave 'im over and 'e'll do what 'e can." He leapt off of her hand and spiraled upward, tilting his head he felt around. Despite the distance between them the other Blue was easily reached because of the indirect connection to him through Sara. Moments later, the smaller yet equally dark male appeared with a questioning chirp. Zor, not wanting to take the time to explain why he had called Scipio here, sent the Blue to Sara who had already started her way over to the kitchens after having given G'tor a hearty clap on his shoulder. Circling the group once before veering toward the front entrance, Zor glided over the tables and extended tendrils of thought out before him, gently touching the minds below as he eliminated the patterns of the feeding humans. All the while ready to be called back
Zipping by the other flitters, Scipio wove his way through the sea of heads before flaring his wings and alighting on Saraina's shoulder. His landing made her wince, but he was more concerned as to why they had called him from his nap. He had been nice and toasty warm curled up with the moving fluff. "Ah 'cipi. Allo, Allo. We're ona 'unt fer Star." A picture was brought forth in his Human's mind. The white Salamandyr? Why were they helping find a Salamandyr? They were little invaders. "'cause you silly flit, she be the 'mandyr that ye always saw at wing drills. She'sa lil' rascal but she be amusing. Come lets see if she be in the kitchens." Although unsure he actually wanted to help, Scipio let His take him over to the place of many food smells. He decided that it was going to be very hard to find a tiny female in a large place such as the big hall. The smaller Blue whistled at His in doubt. "Doncha worry, we'll find 'er... Oi, Patari, commere, I want ta ask ye somethin'..."
