Feyrianth back winged to a landing in the clearing Erilena often used as a stage for her dancing. It could be accessed in other ways of course but flying was faster. Crouching to allow hers to dismount the dragon crooned and raised her head to scent the air. You best hurry Lenalove, if you hope to beat the rain. Erilena slid off the green and hurried to remove the riding straps, all the while looking up at the heavy clouds above. “Yeah looks that way, but I think I have time.” The weyrling tugged the straps off and the strode to the tree line with Feyrianth. The green preferred to stay relatively dry while hers did the rain dance. The canopy above provided good enough cover. Flopping down on the ground the green extended her double wings as a tent of sorts. The dragon watched with idle interest as hers placed the straps and her bag underneath the appendages for protection. Didn’t want to get the leather or her bonded’s dry things wet. Grabbing Feyrianth’s muzzle Erilena pressed a soft kiss to it before striding back to the middle of the clearing.
The wind caught the bottom of the greenrider's long black skirt, whipping it about her legs and revealing her bare feet. Tugging lightly at her blue tank top with one hand Erilena untied her hair and let the wind have it’s way with the long strands, whipping it behind her. As the first drops of rain started the weyrling outstretched her arms to either side and flung her head back as if to welcome it. Stepping forward the rider swung around suddenly in a few fast steps, just as the rain really began to fall down. Left, right, back, front, dip, sway, twirl. The greenrider danced to her own internal music and that of the rain. Involved in her own little world was Erilena. A world of emotion, sound, movement, and little else. Eyes remained closed as she rhythmically moved her body to suit whatever emotion or sound felt right at the time.
Behind her Feyrianth’s tail tip twitched back and forth, unconsciously keeping rhythm with her bonded. Her whirling eyes changed colors according to Erilena’s current thoughts and mood. Mostly blue and green although a few swirls of soft purple randomly dispersed themselves through them as well. Movement was noted and the dragon turned her head reluctantly from her bonded’s dance to see who it was. A light welcoming brush was given to the watching rider’s mind, but no more than that. The green had no desire to startle hers by voicing a full welcome to the man. He was welcome to watch hers though. Most welcome. Hers was so beautiful when she danced the rain dance. (Biased? Who Feyrianth? Pft.)
Finally Erilena started to slow. Rivulets of water mingling with her sweat and providing a interesting mixture of warm and cool. Coming to a complete stop, feet planted firmly on the ground, she bowed her head and took a few moments to gain her breath. Almost automatically the weyrling brushed her soaked hair back from her face. The long strands where clinging to her now. It had just about passed midback and really it probably was time to cut it back. At least a little bit. The greenrider only slightly registered that her entire outfit was soaked and plastered to her as well. Not that she currently cared. You didn’t dance in the rain and expect not to get wet.
Shaking her head back and forth like a canine to shed a bit of the water, Erilena wrung her shirt out and then frowned before considering removing it completely. Didn’t need it really. No one out here but Feyrianth and her dragon wasn’t going to care if she danced in just a skirt and breastband. Still there was the issue of someone possibly coming across her and that made the decision for her. The weyrling’s hands dropped back to her sides. It stayed.
Feet slipped through the wet grass as she took another stance and began again. This time slower, softer. More a cool down than anything strenuous. Still the play of muscles underneath Erilena’s skin was quite evident. It was a good workout really. The rain felt good against her skin. Pleasantly cool. These sensations to went into her movements before she finally swayed to a stop and closed her eyes against the soft patter of rain. Thank Faranth for rainy days.

Trilaranth touched down on the grass just as the first rain-filled gust brushed over the land. The fawn colored brown rumbled lightly as his eyes swirled with contented blues. Into the trees he wedged his large frame, moving up alongside his lovely sister while brushing her mind in greeting. A storm comes, there was an implication behind the words the brown didn't feel the need to elaborate. Feyrianth's had taken to stealing away to His's weyr whenever the thunder rolled through the canyon. Silently he added a wing to hers to help shield the items on the ground from the rain. Trilaranth would have done the same for his.. only the man had wandered toward the tree line after brushing his palm along the underside of Feyrianth's jaw in passing.
R'ven had never seen Erilena dance. She had taken him out for an awkward shuffle (on his part) on the dance floor at the Gather, but this was.. different. Never seeing anything quite like it before, R'ven couldn't help but become entranced by the movements. The smith wasn't artful enough to hear the music playing in her head, or see the ideas illustrated with each smooth motion. What he did see was the play of muscles just beneath clothing – fabric that was soaked and clung to her body as a second skin. She was beautiful. More so now than ever. Caught in the rain with her guard completely down that R'ven would dare say it was like looking into her very soul. The more genuine, natural things in life had always drawn more of R'ven's attention. Morning tussled hair, a roll of sweat down the back of neck when in the forge – and among other things, her skilled, free spirited dance through the rain fell nicely into a growing list of fondness, attraction, the smith felt toward her.
Tucking his chin a bit, R'ven kept his silence when Erilena came to a pause. The glimpse of her slender abdomen as she wrung out her shirt made R'ven's gaze flick up to her face. It had never been easy for him to treat their relationship as he had over the months. Light kisses, fleeting touches, and shifting their interaction into a naive child-like play of good-natured teasing..
Trilaranth rumbled with inner amusement while nuzzling against his green sister in a mirroring of how much his rider wanted to touch hers. A faint purple haze tinged the color of his eyes as he mentally nudged His. Silly humans, weren't they sister? R'ven shot a mild glare of annoyance at his brown before moving out from under the cover of the canopy. He came up alongside of Erilena's still form, touching her elbow and giving her plenty of time to recognize him before his fingers touched lightly against her chin to bring face up to the rain – and him. He breiftly caught her eyes before claiming her lips with a gentle kiss.
"I didn't realize that when you said you like to dance," He traced his fingers along her jaw, her skin cool under his warm touch. "That it was something like this." R'ven was nothing less than approving of this hobby. "Do you always do this in the rain?"

Feyrianth titled her head as her brown brother approached, brushing his mind in affectionate welcome. A storm? She repeated thoughtfully, just a few flecks of worried yellow whirling through her gaze. Hers did not like storms but with the brown pair here it wouldn’t be so bad. That thought calmed her worry and her eyes regained their previous happy color. The addition of her brother's wing with her own was noted with a soft brush of membrane and a soft croon.
Whirling blue eyes watched R’ven as he moved off towards hers, the brush to the underside of Feyrianth's jaw causing her to rumble in contentment. The green brushed her bonded’s mind gently in warning before the smith reached out to touch her elbow. Didn’t want her too startled. Hers could be awkward about the rain dance sometimes. Or rather she had felt quite embarrassed when Darya had caught her. A soft croon emerged from the green’s throat at Trilaranth’s nuzzle. Titling her head Feyrianth returned the nuzzle in a clear display of affection. The feeling both a mixture of hers for him and Erilena’s for R’ven. Yes quite silly the humans could be. Was the return thought. A soft mental nudge was given to hers as well. Go on.
Erilena heard the footfalls just as Feyrianth passed on the silent warning. Before she could turn to catch sight of her watcher however, her elbow was given a light touch. The greenrider turned swiftly to look up at R’ven. Not exactly who she had been expecting. The weyrling’s eyes widened slightly in both surprise and perhaps a tiny bit of embarrassment. Thankfully the rain and her soaked hair probably hid most of her faint blush. Had he been watching her? For how long? Further thoughts on the subject where cut off however as Erilena found her head gently tilted up towards the brownrider.
Her eyes met his and the greenrider smiled softly before half lidding her own and standing on tip toes to meet his kiss. No sense in him having to bend so far to meet her after all. Seemingly of their own accord her arms moved to wrap around his neck. Pulling herself a bit closer she deepened the kiss. All to soon however it seemed he was breaking away. Erilena’s arms remained in place, even if she did move back the few required inches to better pay attention as the smith spoke.
The words R’ven offered where accepted with no small amount of joy. Yes this was how she danced. It was different. But well she was different. A soft whisper was given in response. “Yes. Always in the rain. I only do this dance when it rains. Do you like it?” It was more a rhetorical question than anything else. She could tell he liked it. From the way he was looking at her, the new edge to his touches, the kiss. Yes the brownrider liked her dancing. But all the same she wanted to hear him say it. Just wanted the hear the words come from his mouth. Her eyes automatically sought his as he moved to trace down her jaw.
Slowly Erilena tilted her head into her classmate’s warm touch, pressing a soft kiss to his wrist as she pulled herself closer to R’ven. Her bare feet slipped carefully through the wet grass as she drew herself close enough to press herself flush against him. A shiver rocked the greenrider’s body in response to the warmth he emanated, as well as the proximity. “Your so warm. I’m freezing.” Another shiver racked her body but this time there was a bit of warmth building in her as well. One that had everything to do with the feelings Erilena had for the man her arms where currently around. It was a nice feeling, one she didn’t want to stop.
Slowly her arms disengaged from R’ven’s neck to caress down his back. Her eyes flicked back to his, holding his gaze as she spoke softly. “I’m soaked and you’re getting all wet. Maybe we should find a bit of cover.” Yes that sounded nice. Very nice. Out of the rain. Somewhere warm.

R'ven's eyes traced slowly over Erilean's face. His fingertips played lightly down the side of her neck, curling around behind to keep the distance between their faces from increasing. A smile spread over his features as she spoke – him not really hearing the words at first. Instead oddly being reminded of their first meeting – or rather, their collision. Her genuine nature had snared him then, and now it was no different. Not when he was looking at her and feeling that he was seeing every bit of her. None of the nervous smiles and doubts (both his and hers) clouding his view of Erilena.
"Yes." He responded after a moment, his following words trailing into non-existent as Erilena pushed herself up against him.. Hazel eyes half-lidding, R'ven drew in further against her, shoulders rounded in his partially curled stance to negotiate their height difference. His lips ghosted over her cheek, brushing along her ear in the end. "I'd like to see more of it sometime."
An arm wound around her back, drawing her firm against him as she shivered. Again the words heard at a distant, or R'ven couldn't seem to find his tongue at the moment because a smile did flit across his features. A fleeting amusement welling his mind at her choice of words. I'm cold – it seemed terribly cliche, but R'ven wasn't about to complain. He bowed in closer to loop his second arm around the back of her upper thighs, lifting her off the grass. His first hand tracked down from her back, both hands moving to split her legs – one coming bare through the slit of her skirt – to evenly distribute her weight and more-or-less put her in the position of straddling his waist in the upright position.
The steps were slow, even as he moved them both under the canopy of dragon wings. Erilena's back touched against Feyrianth's warm side – the dragon's rise and fall of breath subtly moving her against him. R'ven smiled, his fingers loosening on the back of her thighs to let her start slipping away – letting Erilena slip away. The kiss that touched against the side of her neck was soft. No demands, no pressure. R'ven knew Erilena's distress when it came to.. certain things ..and he didn't want her thoughts spiraling off into comparisons of him to her former fiance.
After lightly nuzzling the warmth of her neck, R'ven began to draw back up to his proper height. "I think I have a small blanket in the pack on Tril if you want it." The smith turned his head in a half-hearted glance toward his own dragon. Being between both the brown and green created a nice warmth against the slight chill of rain. "If you wanted to wait out the rain.. could fly back." Could. R'ven wasn't exactly supportive of moving away from Erilena or turning back out into the weather.
Trilaranth in turn settled more firmly against the ground, foreclaws crossing in front of his wide chest. A storm, yes, but hopefully it will only be this rain and not the flashes yours does not like.

Erilena smiled softly as R’ven spoke, her own eyes half-lidding in contentment. The fluttering in her heart grew stronger in response to the overwhelming warm feelings of affection she was feeling for him. She felt so happy in this moment. Even that one word, the small verbal acknowledgement that he liked her dancing was enough for her. She didn’t move when the brownrider drew himself closer, instead the weyrling relaxed her body to further close the distance between them. The urge to touch him. To cuddle. Was nearly overpowering and she could feel her heart beating rapidly against his chest. It was a addictive feeling. His heart beating so close to hers. Erilena didn’t want to draw away and loose the contact. The feel of his lips brushing her cheek and moving to her ear prompted her eyes to close completely to better soak up the feeling. R’ven’s words where returned in a soft slightly breathless tone. “I’d dance for you anytime handsome.” Yes she would. Gladly.
The greenrider moved to nuzzle against the smith’s neck, her lips barely brushing over his skin, as he suddenly pulled her tightly against him. A soft gasp left Erilena’s lips in response before she could stop it and her heart rate sped up again. Just when she had finally felt it under control to. Before she could speak R’ven’s other arm was against the back of her thighs and she was being lifted. Almost without thinking the greenrider complied with his unspoken prompting, her legs tightening about his waist and arms slipping up around his neck to make it easier for him. Obviously he had a destination in mind and the weyrling was far from complaining about it. The rain still pouring down felt pleasantly cool against the growing warmth spreading throughout her body. With a soft breathless sigh Erilena nuzzled her face against his neck as the brownrider moved back towards the trees and the dragons underneath them.
Still she stayed as the smith pressed her back against the warm hide of her own dragon. Feyrianth’s breaths creating a wonderful slow friction between them. Her legs further tightened around his waist in response and she had to bite against uttering a soft groan. Keeping her face nuzzled against R’ven’s neck Erilena pressed a few soft kisses to the skin, finding the taste of it suddenly quite irresistible. The greenrider’s arms tightened against the sensation of his fingers loosening and she moved her head away from her classmate’s neck to view his face.
A return smile was given and she tilted her head slightly back as he pressed a soft kiss to her neck. It was nice. The proximity, his smile, the warmth, the loving affection she felt for him. It made her almost unbearably happy. In fact Erilena couldn’t remember ever feeling his happy. Ever. No one else had ever made her feel like this. R’ven was unlike anyone she had ever met. There was a need there, building slowly in her. A need to show him that, show him how happy she was, how much she cared for him.
As the smith started to draw back Erilena’s legs further tightened around his waist, her eyes seeking out his hazel ones. No. She didn’t want him to draw back, not now. Smiling softly the greenrider lightly shook her head before speaking softly. “I don’t need the blanket. It’s okay. It’s warm enough right here.” She readjusted her grip around R’ven’s neck and nuzzled him lightly before pressing a soft kiss to the pulse point. Her lips moved to his ear, in that small moment making a decision. One she was completely happy and comfortable with. “R’ven…Lets stay.” Her lips brushed briefly against this ear before she spoke again, the words a soft plea. “I need you. Please?”
The words where a quiet whisper and her heart sped up in response as she slowly pulled away to view his face. Unconsciously Erilena bit her bottom lip, worrying at it in the first display of nervousness she had shown. It wasn’t nervousness about what she was asking. More nervousness about R’ven’s reaction. Possible rejection. Silly probably but the small tendril of doubt remained all the same. For all her feelings there was always the miniscule possibility that he didn’t feel the same. The difference here for her was this wasn’t senseless. It meant something to her.
Feyrianth shifted to a more comfortable position, laying much like a terran sphinx. If she was bothered by the contact at her side she didn’t show it. Her head snaked around to view her larger sibling and she crooned, the sound soft, as her eyes whirled in bright blues and soft purples. Yes. I do hope it will just be the rain. Mine quite likes the rain. But not as much as she likes yours. A soft rumble of amusement was given. The green liked the feelings coming off hers currently and her tail tip flicked to brush Trilaranth lightly in the unconscious desire to touch. Her wings shifted slightly as she laid her head down on the ground, a soft purr rumbling in her throat.

R'ven's fingers lingered on skin where the slit of her skin had ridden up to bare more and more of her thigh as they moved. The smith firmed his grip, out of reflex, when her legs tightened around his waist; one hand slipping beneath the naked thigh while the other hand, mirrored in actions, had the black fabric under his touch. No guess needed to know which one he gave an absent light squeeze – his thumb stroking over the rain-slicked skin.
A smile warmed his features as Erilena agreed to waiting out the rain. Her next admission though, murmured softly against his ear, made R'ven turn his head into hers to seek out her eyes. The expression on his face having faded to leave behind a more serious one as he scanned her features with question. Powerful words. What man didn't want to be told that particular phrase? R'ven's brows drew together – did that mean what it sounded like? Her body language was speaking fluently enough but with Erilena these matters were, well, delicate.
Pressing her more firmly against Feyrianth's side so she wouldn't slide down, R'ven removed his hands. He pulled open his riding jacket, rolling it off his broad shoulders and easing it down his arm. All the while he watched her eyes for any sign of disapproval. The coat fell against the grass near his feet, his palms finding either side of Erilena's face to draw her back into another kiss. This time the smith didn't bother with holding back, letting his desire for her translate through lips and tongue of a deepened kiss.
He drew back, again searching her face for further approval. Erilena had shown interest before.. and it had always been him turning the option down. Rules, he had to abide by them to not make a hypocrite out of himself. But now..
Trilaranth, in response to his bonded's thoughts, shifted his wing so that his and Feyrianth's created a more dome like area for privacy. The brown curled his head in next to his sister's, letting his eyes close with a mirrored contented purr humming in his own breathes.

Erilena’s posture notably relaxed for a moment at R’ven’s smile. Good he had wanted to stay then. Her eyes met his as he drew back after her whispered words. A slow smile spread over the weyrling’s face and she half lidded her eyes as her classmate’s expression became more serious. Inwardly debating. Her heart sped up slightly in response as she waited. The small amount of time he needed to make the decision seeming to drag on and on. Really it was only maybe a minute before he reacted, but it felt like an eternity. All the while the greenrider kept her eyes on his face, not wanting to look away for fear of sending the wrong message. Trying to reassure him, by looking as confident as she could, she tightened her grip around his neck again. Didn’t want any doubts clouding his mind, because there sure weren’t any stirring in hers.
Then the wait was finally over and she gave a soft gasp as R'ven pressed her more firmly against Feyrianth. Erilena’s legs instinctively tightened around his waist as he removed his hands from her thighs. Her attention was drawn to the movement of his shoulders as he shrugged off his riding jacket. Her eyes continued to caress the shape of his shoulder, before slowly moving up his neckline, and back to his face. She traced his features carefully, as if by doing so she could commit them to memory.
The soft thump of the jacket hitting the ground was ignored in favor of the sensation of the brownrider's warm hands on her face and she titled her head to meet his lips. It was like immersing herself in fire without the pain. The warmth that spread through her body at the first contact of his tongue upon hers was still fairly new. Her mouth opened wider, further inviting him in. Her eyes closing against the sensation of her tongue briefly dancing with his before moving to explore his mouth in turn. Her arms moved, sliding back so her hands could caress his shoulders, one of them grabbing onto the muscle of his shoulder and squeezing briefly.
As he withdrew Erilena gave a deep breath to make up for the previous lack of oxygen and her eyes automatically sought R’ven’s, a soft smile gracing her features. If he was looking for hesitation he wasn’t going to find any. Yet the fact that the brownrider was slightly hesitating, making sure she was entirely comfortable, tugged at her heart. It made the weyrling adore him all the more. His careful consideration and worry for her showed, beyond a doubt, that he cared as well. Not that the greenrider had ever doubted that. No. There was no doubt, especially after her first failed attempt to seduce him and the conversation they had had afterwards. That felt like an eternity ago. Now there was no hesitation from either end it seemed. This current feeling was what she had wanted then, what she needed now. R’ven had been right. As usual. A soft smile graced her features again and she leaned forward to press a soft kiss to his nose before moving back to claim his lips. Hopefully that was all the approval he needed.
Feyrianth felt Trilaranth’s wing shift and opened one bright whirling eye halfway to watch as he adjusted it. Her own wings shifted again and she felt a smug satisfaction, for once, that she had so many. Created a very nice little rain proof area for theirs which was very good. The soft purr continued to rumble through her as she brushed her head along her clutchbrother’s lightly and affectionately. She again lidded her eyes completely in happy contentment. The rain would keep others away she was sure. So there was no need to keep watch. It was pouring buckets now after all. Not everyone liked the rain as much as hers did.

[Fade out – Fade in]
The scent of rain lingered on the air with the majority of the storm having passed to leave behind only a soft drizzle that was more mist than rain. R'ven could see the droplets slowly forming along the edges of the dragon wings still positioned over them. The blanket he had offered Erilena earlier now laid beneath them. R'ven was stretched out on his back in a pair of shorts; one knee upbent and a single arm folded behind his head. His other hand was busy toying with a strand of Erilena's hair that had more or less dried.
R'ven felt distinctly far away from home – Hyphen, at least. Yet he was content in that moment, even so that a nap felt like a wonderful idea. Just, a faint smile quirked humorously at the corner of his lips, never imagined he'd be with someone out in the open underneath the canopy of dragon wings. He rubbed the side of his cheek against the top of Erilena's head, wondering if she had fallen asleep but loathed to move any further to visually check. Hoped she was happy with how things had worked out. Knew she had placed importance on the matter.. knew she wanted it to have meaning, and not just meaningless.
Do you plan to stay there all day? My wing is going to cramp and I'm hungry. Trilaranth announced pointedly to his rider. His wing twitched, shaking off a couple droplets onto the humans before he settled back down again. Yes, he was glad his had enjoyed himself, but now that they were done, could they go eat? "Tril." R'ven growled, trying to keep his tone as soft as possible. The water that fell against his bared skin was just a tad uncomfortable. He brushed at his abdomen to remove the cold sensation.
Feysister, Trilaranth purred at the nearby green, nosing her side as he addressed her. Aren't you hungry? You're being evil.

Erilena’s eyelids fluttered briefly in response to the cool droplets of water striking her bare skin. It wasn’t truly sleep the weyrling had fallen into afterwards, more a state of contented drowsiness. A soft murmur of protest left her lips at the water and she half rolled to snuggle back against R’ven’s side. The small movement sent a small pang of discomfort through her and she flinched slightly in response. It hadn’t been bad no, but she would likely be sore for a day or so. Not that she hadn’t expected as much. It hadn’t been as painful as she had feared and the pleasure following had been well worth it. Eyelids flickered open then, briefly running over the brownrider’s body as his cheek rubbed against the top of her head. Smiling softly the weyrling threw an arm over him, wondering just when he had moved to get dressed. Unfair of him not to wake her so she could as well. Then again he at least had /dry/ clothes. Have to tease him about it perhaps. Maybe. Currently she didn’t feel like doing anything but enjoying his proximity.
Tilting her head the greenrider brushed her lips over the smith’s jaw. “You alright handsome? Could have told me you wanted us to get dressed. Getting shy now?” Erilena teased softly before removing her arm to sit up and cross them both over her chest, in an attempt to hide some of her breasts. Briefly she looked around to locate her clothes, noting their still sodden state. With the rain and humidity it didn’t look like they had dried any either. Ick. Cold wet clothes so did not sound good right now. Her foot reached out to prod her soaked tank top and the weyrling gave a soft hiss in response to the pull of muscle the movement caused. It could have been interpreted as her protesting to the state of her clothes though as well. Making a face she turned her head back toward R’ven and gave him a slight smile. She knew she looked like a mess. Her hair, for one, looked horrible she knew. Frizzed from the humidity and tousled. She probably looked so very unattractive. That thought caused her to frown slightly but it didn’t last long. Her good mood returning at Feyrianth’s happy brush to her mind. Hers was so very happy and that made the green ecstatic. Hers had finally flown with Tril’s and the green had very much liked the way it had made hers feel. Erilena returned the loving brush happily before smiling and turning back to the smith. Where the brown pair in a hurry to leave?
The four winged dragon rumbled softly to her brown companion in response to his nudge. Her eyes whirled in content blues, a briefly amused shade whirling through them at his words. A draconic chuckle was given. Like yours you are with food my dear Trilbrother. I ate three days ago. I am fine currently. The green always ate lightly, she didn’t like the way gorging made her feel. Her wings readjusted themselves to make the majority of the cover for the humans her job. Does yours want to leave now? Lenamine should probably spend a little time recovering if that is okay? She is sore and I do not think riding back right now would be pleasant for her. The green tilted her head back to catch a glimpse of the two humans beneath her wings before turning her attention back to her brother with a brief nuzzle to the underside of his jaw. Feyrianth had no desire to move currently being perfectly content to bask in the pleased emotions coming from her bonded.

R'ven couldn't help but chuckle at the first words out of Erilena's mouth. Was he alright – as if she had been too rough with him. His fingers loosened on the strand of hair as she moved, his gaze slowly trailing up from Erilena's navel, over her half covered chest and ending on her face framed by her frazzled blonde hair. Beautiful. "Just in case someone wandered this way I could head them off.. and they wouldn't walk up to a pair stumbling about trying to get dressed."
Fingertips brushed over the side of Erilena's hip. Soft, soft skin. He wanted to tug her back down against him but refrained. Cuddling could be done another time, in the privacy of a weyr and the comfort of furs. A pleasant thought, that, of Erilena spending a couple nights in his bed; in his arms in the morning. If she were comfortable with the idea, of course, he wasn't about to press the matter. Although, Erilena did already sneak into his weyr during the night as was..
Easing up onto an elbow, R'ven torqued his body to reach for his own mostly-dry shirt. He held the article of clothing out for Erilena, pulling it back out of her reach once before surrendering it completely. Nooo need for her to get dressed, in his opinion. "Trilaranth wants to move.. complaining about a wing cramp." R'ven playfully rolled his eyes at his dragon fussing, the expression purely for Erilena's enjoyment. "Let's go get some dried clothes. Then something to eat..?"
Okay, so maybe the brown wasn't the only one that was hungry – that or Trilaranth's hunger pangs were influencing R'ven. Not even the slightest stretch of a thought, considering the closeness of their bond. The idea of curling up in bed with her to nap also held appeal, but R'ven opted not to mention that particular desire.
Trilaranth heaved an expressive sigh at Feyrianth's answer – sister didn't even play along with him! He gave a another shake of his wing to sprinkle the last few droplets onto their riders. Sore? Is yours hurt? As far as he could tell, his had been nothing but gentle with Feyrianth's. Slow and careful. The brown passed the concern on to his, drawing a glance from the smith. Mine won't move until yours is ready to go.
R'ven attention slid back to Erilena, quietly mirroring his dragon's questions in different words. "Everything alright?"

Erilena titled her head at R’ven’s chuckle, wracking her brain to figure out what she had said that was funny. At a loss for the moment she instead watched the progress of his eyes over her body and finally to her face. His eyes said it all and she blushed faintly in response, not able to quell the reaction. When the smith looked at her like that, her heart couldn’t help but flutter happily in response. A soft smile graced the greenrider’s features and she nodded in a response to his explanation. Of course, that made sense. Her brain was far happier with tracing the progress of his fingertips over her hip though, and a shiver of delight ran up her spine in response. The desire to flop back down, snuggle against him, and refuse to move was almost painful in it’s intensity. But it /was/ getting cold and as warm and lovely as he was, they couldn’t stay here forever out in the open. Cuddling would unfortunately have to wait for later and if the brownrider thought he could escape he was dead wrong.
Almost lazily Erilena tracked R’ven’s movements as he reached for his shirt. As he offered it to her she smiled and reached to take it, rolling her eyes in mock annoyance as the smith pulled it suddenly out of reach. Trust him to make it into a tiny game. A bright smile lit up her face at that thought and she tried to give him a stern look which failed miserably seeing as she giggled instead and snatched it out of his grasp. “Don’t worry handsome I doubt I’m going to stretch it out.” The greenrider couldn’t help adding that tease as she threw the garment over her head, wiggled into it and ran her fingers through her tangled hair.
Her eyes flicked back to the brownrider as he spoke, his eye roll causing her to grin in response. Unbidden her gaze then went up to the dragon wings above their heads. Really Erilena couldn’t blame Trilaranth for his desire to move. The dragons had been very patient. Feyrianth was beyond quick to assure her that she could be far more patient if it was needed. A soft smile came across the greenrider’s face along with a reassurance to her dragon that everything was fine. Perfect even. Erilena’s attention went immediately back to R’ven at his suggestions and she nodded flashing him a happy smile. “That sounds lovely. Maybe afterwards we can go back to your place and just lay around?” The words where offered in a hopeful tone because currently she had no desire to do anything more.
Feyrianth tilted her head her head at Trilaranth’s sigh, another round of amusement whirling through her eyes. Silly her brown brother could be sometimes. She liked silly all right but it was hard for her to be silly when hers was so content and happy. Her bonded’s emotions had always strongly affected Feyrianth (especially after Leo had passed) and now was no exception. Her brother’s words drew the green out of her bliss for a few moments, and she considered them carefully before answering. Yes she is sore. Not hurt no. Is that not normal? Mine has never flown before with anyone. She was told that the first time is usually followed by a bit of soreness. Her head snaked back to regard hers for a moment but there was no real worry coloring the gaze. Turing her attention back to Trilaranth she gave a soft purr. There is no need for worry. Lenamine is fine. I would know if she was not. She is content and very happy. The words where voiced with complete confidence as she tucked her wings to her sides, not bothering to shed the water on them beforehand.
Erilena turned her attention to Feyrianth as the green turned to look at her. A brief private conversation was shared and the rider gave a few more reassurances before turning to look at R’ven. Confusion briefly ran over her face. “Of course. Everything’s fine. Why wouldn’t it be?” Leaning forward she ran her hand over his jaw and smiled. “Needn’t worry handsome. I don’t think I could be happier right now.” No rainclouds please. Not if she could prevent it.

Her blushing was another reason for him sliding into his shorts. It should have been clear enough, considering past events and R'ven's habit of sleeping in the buff, that he had no problem with nudity. Erilena, however, showed on occasion her nervousness when it came to such matters. He wanted Erilena as comfortable as possible with the situation. It took nearly every fiber in his body to keep his eyes on her face, on her smile, when her arm moved away to grab the shirt.
"If you do, I'll just have to try on your clothes in retaliation." The shirt should be long enough to cover her torso and reach to what he would guess to be mid thigh. Not the best solution, but enough to provide modest cover until she could obtain a set of dry clothes in her size. The earnest touch to her words drew a knowing smile out of the smith. "Actually.. I feel like I could lay down for a nap. Would be nice to just lay down now."
The touch along his jaw was reassuring, but her quick jump to try and affirm any doubt told him otherwise. He caught her hand twining fingers with hers as he moved to stand, drawing her up with him. "Because through the dragon chain I've been told it would be better for you to stay and rest a while longer." She didn't need to reassure him nothing was wrong, and R'ven didn't quite like that she felt the need to hide anything she wasn't comfortable about. Faranth only knew why she often put on a smile to dissuade questioning. "If you need us to stay put –"
But now Feyrianth's wing had moved, sprinkling them further and opening up the pair to the ghosting drizzle that was the tail of the rain storm. R'ven touched Erilena's elbow, stepping them aside so he could double and quickly pick up the blanket – which he then draped over the green weyrling's shoulders. "Okay. I guess we're moving. Your weyr or mine?"
Trilaranth eased up onto legs, shaking his mass slowly before moving out into the open area to flick his wings wide a few times. Draconic streeeetch. As you say Feyrianth, you do knows your best. Although if something is wrong, I suggest yours tell mine. He does not like guessing games when it comes to these things. The words held no amount of scolding or irritation. A simple stating of fact that he felt no need to tone down.

Erilena’s eyes kept a steady gaze on R’ven as he spoke, even with Feyrianth in her mind prodding lightly and making doubly sure she was okay. Overprotective beast. She was fine. What was she going to do if she ever did really get hurt? You won’t. I won’t let that happen. I will protect you. A slight smile spread across her face and she lightly shook her head. Sometimes darling you can’t control things like that. Nevertheless I am fine. Now stop it. The mental conversation stopped just as the brownrider twined his fingers with hers. With a smile the weyrling allowed herself to be guided to her feet. The smith’s words through caused her to sigh. “Well that dragon chain was no doubt started by my darling Feyrianth who is about as overprotective as they come. I stub a toe and she has a fit.” That part was completely true to. Feyrianth and protection seemed to go hand in hand. Erilena flicked her gaze back to the smith, opening her mouth just as her green retracted her double wings, letting in the rain.
Now everything was happening too fast and the weyrling had to resist the urge to stomp her foot in slight irritation. Why was everyone in such a hurry? Closing her eyes momentarily, Erilena allowed R’ven to step her forward so he could retrieve his blanket. Alright no sense in making a mountain out of a molehill. Everything had been going so well to. She was happy shard it. Was it so hard for everyone else to be as well? The blanket thrown over her shoulders was grasped with her unoccupied hand and the one in her classmates grip was given a squeeze. “Just slow down. I don’t care if I get soaked I was already soaked once. Lets just all take one deep breath.” A glare was shot at Feyrianth after the words, the green chirping sheepishly before ducking her head to grab her riding straps gently in her mouth.
Erilena stepped forward, one arm going about R’ven’s waist so she could hug him lightly. Her head tilted upward trying to snag his gaze. “I’m fine. Really. Moving is no big deal. I’m a little sore is all. Which I don’t see what all the fuss is about because I expected it and it’s normal. At least if practically everyone I’ve ever brought the issue up with, including my mother, is to be believed. I’m not hurt, it’s not a huge deal, I barely even notice it.” The words where soft but firm. “I’m so happy and I would rather not ruin the good mood over something this silly.” Standing on tiptoes the greenrider pressed a soft kiss to the brownrider’s lips. “I love you. You are fine, it was wonderful and I saw no reason to worry you with something silly.” Her tone softened on the last words as she gently she brushed her nose against his.
“Now if it is all the same to you I’d rather we go to your place. It’s bigger, and I think I still have a pair or two of clothes floating about there considering I sneak my way in on a bi nightly basis.” Erilena sank back to her feet smiling up at R’ven brightly and giving his midsection a squeeze. “Besides even if I am wrong I really don’t mind wearing your clothes. They look quite attractive on me no?” That silly bit was thrown in almost out of reflex and afterwards she made a face. “No doubt you’re jealous of my ability to look good in anything.”
Feyrianth watched Trilaranth as he walked slightly away and stretched. His words caused her to duck her head and a few somber colors whirled through her gaze. It wasn’t the tone that bothered her, the green didn’t like it when he used her full name. She much preferred nicknames. Full names made interacting to impersonal for her. The words where thought on personally before she passed them along to hers. Why would there be guessing games involved? Hers just did not like to worry people unnecessarily. That was all. But if Tril’s didn’t like it…
I understand Tril. The four winged dragon repeated dutifully back. She felt a tad awkward and wasn’t sure what else to say so she offered nothing more. Her head snaked around to view the two humans, riding straps still dangling in her mouth. Gently she brushed against both their minds with a soft question. Are you ready yet? Feyrianth was not sure if they where planning on riding together or not and opted to wait and see what happened before moving too far away.

R'ven slowly nodded to Erilena's words. He wasn't rushing anything. Simply trying to preserve her modesty. The off white tunic he had worn, now resting loosely over Erilena's frame, wouldn't do much to disguise her naked form if she let it get soaked. Maybe she really didn't mind if people saw.. but R'ven did. Not to the point of having fits – but he'd rather not have the masses ogling his girlfriend. Regardless, he let his arms drop back to his sides, loosening his stance while silently regarding the mildly irked green weyrling.
I am confused mine, Trilaranths' voice drew a very brief glance from his rider. The smith did not like the tone that traveled across their bond. Did not like that Trilaranth was closely bonded as they were at times, because the brown was connected straight to the smith's core thoughts – not getting the filtered and soften versions that everyone else got to hear. It was a simple question. Does she need to answer at such length as if you need to be reassured?
R'ven declined to comment on the matter, accepting Erilena's kiss in silence. He had only meant to ask if she was okay with moving – since Feyrianth had stated otherwise. Not.. make her think he was questioning anything deeper. He wasn't doubting himself, or what they had done. R'ven lightly shook his head, brushing the matter aside as unimportant. "Green with envy," He smoothly replied with a wider smile. "I wouldn't look half as attractive in yours as you do mine. And if none of your clothes are there–" Although he was certain there was something floating around his weyr unless it had made it into the basket of dirty clothes that the drudges picked up. "–I won't make too much of a fuss if you forego the clothes."
Seizing either side of the blanket, R'ven tugged it snugly around the green weyrling, pressing a kiss to her temple in the process. "If you want to go ahead and run to you weyr then mine, or however you want to do things, go ahead. I am going to take a short walk and have a talk–" A faintly narrowed look shot toward his dragon. "–with Tril about something."
The brown in question curved his neck around to regard the two riders. He reached over to Feyrianth, capturing one of the straps in his own mouth and giving it a playful tug. She had no reason to be suddenly quiet. Take yours. Mine wants to scold me. And yes, the large dragon was amused by the idea. He wasn't the one having misunderstandings.

Erilena blinked up at R’ven her head tilting slightly as she watched him lightly shake his head. His words and the smile however nicely let any doubts she had slip happily away and she smiled in return. “I knew it. I’m just waaaay to sexy for my own good.” Immediately after the words she made a face but it was doubtful that the brownrider had seen it considering he went on about clothes and such and she found herself nodding along. Until he came to the part about not throwing a fuss if she decided to forego dressing at all. A soft chuckle left the greenrider and she nuzzled against her classmate’s chest. “Hmm can’t have you making a fuss now. I think it will be alright. I’ll come up with something to wear even if it ends up being window coverings.”
Thankfully her tone made it obvious she was just joking even if her content expression did not. The playful banter like this she liked. Way too much sometimes. A soft sigh left Erilena as the smith tightened the blanket around her before pressing a soft kiss to her temple. Right now she didn’t want to leave him but as long as he came back in decent time it would be alright. The greenrider decided to book no complaints instead giving him a final squeeze before stepping back towards Feyrianth. “Don’t be to long. I’ll likely be waiting for you~.” A final smile was given before she turned to her green and raised an eyebrow. “Fey if you guys break those and I have to make a new pair I am not going to be happy.”
Feyrianth watched the two riders closely until she felt a tug on the straps in her mouth. A soft muffled croon was given to the brown before she tugged lightly back. The whirling of her eyes changing to a more pleased shade, she ducked her head and gently butted it against Trilaranth’s chest. Yes I will do so. Promptly she dropped the straps at her bonded’s feet as the rider approached and crouched to allow her to fix them to her neck. Rumbling lightly she brushed Trilaranth’s mind again as Erilena finished with the leathers and mounted. I do not see why he thinks you need scolding but humans are silly things sometimes. I will see you soon. Do not be long dear Tril or I may have to claim your couch. Those words where a light tease as she sprang into the air and swung in a wide turn before heading off in the direction of the canyon.
~~~
It hadn’t taken Erilena long to find something in her weyr to throw on quick. Finally settling for a teal colored tank top and a loose brown skirt that fell to just below her knee. Satisfied that she at least looked presentable and would be comfortable enough she had Feyrianth make a quick stop at the kitchens before heading to R’ven’s weyr. As the green touched down onto the ledge the greenrider was amused to note that they had still beaten the smith and his brown home, even with her little pit stop.
Well that was fine with her. Erilena dropped the food and klah she had brought from the kitchen onto the table before returning to her dragon to remove her riding straps. That done she returned to the weyr proper and nudged Ca’tauri away from her feet before settling the food (simple fair, fruit, a couple sandwiches and some meatrolls) out properly. Humming softly she grabbed one of the meatrolls from the spread, trotted across the weyr and flopped down on R’ven’s bed to wait.
Nibbling on the food the weyrling reached out to stroke the feline as it came up to join her, breaking a piece off the roll to offer the furry monster. “Sheesh. Way you act you’d think he never feeds you fatty.” The greenrider quipped as she watched Ca’tauri practically inhale the offered morsel. Spoiled rotten thing. She felt Feyrianth’s amusement coil through her mind like smoke before she rolled over and continued to talk to Ca’tauri. “Your master is slow isn’t he? Shouldn’t make us wait this long hm?” The purring she got in response she took as agreement before she offered the rest of her food to the feline and closed her eyes. This was much better. Way more comfortable than the ground.
