Feyrianth stirred slightly out on the ledge. Hers was still sleeping off the effects of flight lust but starting to approach wakefulness. While normally the green was ecstatic to feel hers rouse from sleep this time she was subdued. It had more to do with the pain in her wings than anything else though. The twinges in her muscles made her very uncomfortable. Even curling up with Garaeth hadn’t helped. Oh she liked the blue well enough. He was sweet and had been her choice but all the same she hurt and that wasn’t exactly prone to much conversation right now. Shifting again the four winged green pressed her hide against the blue beside her and shifted a wing slightly, a tremble running down her body in response to the discomfort that motion caused.
I apologize in advance for my bonded. She is like as not to be frightened and awkward around yours. She is strange about flight and prefers only Trilaranth’s when she decides to fly. It is nothing against yours. Which was the truth. Feyrianth was sure Garaeth’s rider was a nice person. But hers had very strict ideals when it came to things that should normally be uncomplicated. Silly girl she was sometimes but the green loved her more than words could explain.
Ouch. Wincing as she shifted Erilena further flinched as she felt warm skin against hers. Immediately she froze. Wrong amount of warmth. Not near big or solid enough to be R’ven either. Slowly it all came back to the weyrling as her breathing sped up in response to a momentarily twinge of panic. Feyrianth had risen….so then…that meant this was the winner of the flight. Which was?… The greenrider couldn’t remember. Snatches of memory filtered in but it was mostly just random images with feelings attached haphazardly. Similar to what one might get from a drunk firelizard or something. Not helpful in the least.
One hand reached out to grip the fur laying over her as Erilena hastily extracted herself from both the bed and T’ke. Spinning suddenly around to face the bed she had exited the weyrling wrapped the fur about her shoulders and stared with slightly frightened eyes at the bluerider. T’ke? She remembered him from the infirmary. So it was his blue then who Feyrianth had chosen. T’ke himself had always seemed shy and very paranoid, pessimistic even. They hadn’t interacted to terribly much. Which made this really, really awkward.
Trying to swallow a bit of her nervousness the greenrider examined the floor for her clothes. It would all be much easier to deal with once she was suitably dressed. As it was now Erilena felt way to exposed. Keeping the fur tightly about her she reached down for her clothes and winced again at a flood of painful tightness. Blinking the greenrider looked towards the ledge. Not her. She wasn’t hurt. The pain was coming from Feyrianth. The flight itself was a blur of fear, anxiety and a bunch of other emotions. Fear however was the prominent one. Lightly she brushed Feyrianth’s mind with question as she rose with her clothes in her hand. Just then however T’ke stirred again. Abruptly Erilena clutched the fur and her clothes tightly against her and took another intentional deep breath. She needed to be calm. The sooner this was over the better. What she wanted right now was to make sure Feyrianth was okay first and foremost. Then she wanted to find R’ven.

Garaeth nuzzled Feyrianth's neck gently, wishing he could take away the pain. He was happy to be with her and to protect her for as long as she wanted. Laying a wing gently over her back, he crooned sympathetically. Speaking wouldn't be necessary if she didn't wish it. He wanted to stay with her, but only as long as she was comfortable.
The mention of her bonded though brought a light chuckle to his drowsy voice. T'ke-mine will not be much better, he assured Feyrianth. He has never flown before. Not with a female, anyway. The last green Garaeth had one had had a male rider. Turning his head to gaze at his sleeping rider, Garaeth's eyes glowed brightly. I hope it will make it easier for both of them. After all, if they were both nervous at least they would understand what the other was feeling.
T'ke rolled over, trying not to wake up. He couldn't remember what he'd done last night. Maybe he'd drunk wine again? Last time that had given him a horrible headache though, and this time he didn't feel that bad. Something was definitely off, however. T'ke rolled over again and promptly fell off the bed in a heap of limbs and fur. "Shard it all!" He started to ripped the furs off, but froze mid action as he noticed three things. First, the wasn't his room; second, he was naked; and third, Erilena was staring at him.
The memory of what must have happened came back to him. Garaeth had flown after Feyrianth. T'ke felt his face turn bright red. Why in Faranth's name did he have to win?! That was it. T'ke officially didn't like Flights. Then either ended in pain or horrible embarrassment. "Um..." he fumbled with words as his head spun. He wished he could faint, it would be so much easier. Erilena looked like a herdbeast staring down a dragon. Who could blame her? After he'd probably just... T'ke's mouth fell open. He'd just slept...with a girl.
T'ke's head was going dizzy, he didn't know what to think. What should he say either. Glancing around widely, he snatched for his clothes. While he tried to put them on underneath the furs, he babbled almost incoherently. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean...well Garaeth did...what I mean is...I...I..." He paused for breath, trying to hold back his panicked. Just his luck, he'd probably just insulted her. Shard it all, why were women so difficult? "Um..are you alright, Erilena?" he asked nervously. Working in the infirmary would never be the same again.

Feyrianth tilted her head up as Garaeth nuzzled her neck, returning the nuzzle happily. As his wing extended over her back as shifted closer to the blue, seeking comfort wherever she could find it. His drowsy chuckle made her tilt her head further, no doubt making her look like a canine that had just heard some funny noise. Oh yours has never flown? Well then I do think that they will both be suitably awkward. Mine is nervous but I think with yours being awkward as well it will be alright. She was rather worried that someone would try and touch her after the flight. Feyrianth had mixed feelings about her bonded’s fears. The green didn’t see the problem with being flown by different dragons but did understand at a base level why hers wished not to be flown by anyone but R’ven.
Humans where too complicated in some things. Well at any rate Garaeth’s being scared as well was better then just hers being scared. Maybe. Feyrianth would prefer it if nobody was scared but alas it seemed that was something that could not be helped. The four winged dragon felt hers brush questioningly against her mind, obviously having just awoken. The green crooned reassuringly in response, loud enough that the sound could be heard by hers and Gareth’s both.
Erilena blinked down at T’ke as he finally woke up. His tumble off the bed caused her to bite her lip in slight concern and then blush fiercely when she caught sight of skin. Averting her gaze momentarily the greenrider backed up, still clutching her clothes and the blanket to her frame. Eventually she hazarded another nervous glance in his direction only to see the blue rider grabbing for his clothes. Yes that reminded her, the weyrling needed to get dressed as well. For a few moments both riders probably looked quite funny as they strived to get dressed under the shield the furs provided. Never mind that only candle marks prior they had been quite involved. Thank Faranth for the mental block dragon lust provided.
Finally decent, Erilena kept the fur around her shoulders to ward off the chill and turned to T’ke just in time to catch his babbling. He didn’t mean to? Well that was a silly thing to say. Although really the bluerider wasn’t too far off. Had the greenrider been in her right mind this would never have happened /ever/. So really yes, saying Garaeth and Feyrianth meant to was more true. Nothing against T’ke. He was nice enough and all, but Erilena had no emotional attachment to him. She loved R’ven. It was different with him. What just happened held no meaning, and it just felt wrong in a way.
Still the bluerider’s question deserved and answer. Problem was the greenrider wasn’t sure what to tell him. Was she alright? Physically yes. No pain, no discomfort, she was fine. Mentally. Well she would have to get back to him. Nervously her gaze went back to T’ke and she offered him a half smile, to hopefully calm some of his nerves. Him being jittery was making her more jittery. “I’m okay. Are you okay? You look really pale.” Okay that probably not the best thing to say but Erilena didn’t know what else to offer. Really she supposed she should count her blessings that it was T’ke she woke up with and not someone else. At least the bluerider was a safe enough sort. Nervous as he was it was awkward, but not terrifying.
She would take awkwardness over terror any day. Still the weyrling wanted nothing more than to find R’ven and just be held for awhile. Running her hand through her hair she heard Feyrianth’s croon and gave the ledge a glance. “Umm Feyrianth got hurt in the flight. I think it’s her wings. I can feel the tightness. Probably just pulled or strained muscles but I would like to look at her. Do you mind assisting me?”
In a way Erilena felt bad about asking T’ke for help. It felt awkward at best. They needed a manual on after flight interaction obviously. All she wanted to do was check on Feyrianth and leave but that would probably be rude. Still her companion looked like he wanted nothing more to leave to. This is where concrete rules would come in handy. Her eyes flicked back to the bluerider and the weyrling gave a slightly warmer smile. “If you don’t want to that’s fine to.” If he wanted to leave she sure as heck wasn’t going to stop him. Yes Erilena was okay with him staying but being a bundle of nerves was no fun for anyone.

Garaeth cooed softly and rubbed Feyrianth's ear nubs gently. I assure you T'ke-mine would never touch her without her permission. He might be a bit silly, but he has a kind soul. Garaeth was sure that this would be good for T'ke. He needed to reach beyond his fears. Much had happened to him and many of his friends were gone. He needed to learn that it was alright to get close to someone, if only for a little while. Do you need to see a healer, dear heart? Garaeth whispered to Feyrianth in concern. I could fetch one for you.
"Me? I...uh..." T'ke hadn't really had time to think about himself yet. He felt alright. In fact, he felt pretty good. At the same time, he felt sick with nerves. Weyrling lessons had never covered what to do after a Flight. "I think I'm alright," he said at last, nodding emphatically. Definitely better now that they were both wearing clothes. "I can honestly say, I don't think I'll ever get used to this, though."
Making sure his pants were secure around his waist, T'ke shrugged his shirt over his shoulder and got up. "I'll do my best," he agreed, feeling a bit awkward. Most of his life as an assistant had consisted of human patients, not dragons. "Tell me what you want me to do."
