Just out of wing drills Elysia was still decked all out in her tight fitted leather gear weapons included. Today drills hadn’t tired her out as much as they usually had and so the greenrider had decided maybe a bit of fun was in order. Winding her hair back up into a bun and pinning it to the top of her head she raced through the jungle the wing beats above her signaling the arrival of Onyth. As the dark green broke through the canopy above the woman rolled to the side barely dodging the talons that swiped at the air where she had been moments before. As her dragon wound through the trees to break back into the clear sky Elysia feinted left and then broke from the cover herself.
Leaping up onto a rather large rock near the river she waited until the dark green circled and then dove straight for her, talons extended and maw opened in a threat display. Holding her ground for a few moments The greenrider drew her whip and waited. Three, two, one. There. Even as Onyth bore down on her the whip struck out towards the green’s face and ended up coiled about the dragon’s forearm when the dragon ducked her head and moved to evade. Shit missed. Before the beast could take advantage of the weapon and pull her off balance Elysia let go, ducking under another talon swipe and ending up below the green as the beast landed.
Immediately she rolled out of the way as taloned feet sought to smash her only to end up wrapped in Onyth’s tail. Struggling against the unyielding muscle she sighed. “Fine you win.” Bringing her head around the dragon licked her bonded’s face. Dead and I always win. Crinkling her nose the greenrider growled. “Not always.” Okay let me rephrase that to ninety percent of the time.
With a rumble Onyth dropped her rider watching as the woman rolled to her feet and brushed the dust of herself. Now what? I am still bored. “Me to. Just have to find someone to play with.” Good luck with that. Craning her neck the dark dragon snorted and then strode to the near by river plopping down on the bank as she watched hers unbind her hair and shake it out. Biased Onyth was obviously but the green did appreciate what a nice pair they made. A beautiful nightmare Radalth’s had once called them.
Yes even now it still fit. “Dangerous those thoughts are love. I would prefer it if R’sia and his nasty beast stayed dead and buried. You know that.” Apologies my love it is one of my only memories of them. At least it is not a bad one. “Well I would prefer you banish it all the same.” You are being biased about it again. “What else is new?” If it was odd to be talking out loud with her beast Elysia didn’t mind. Not like an eavesdropper would have any clue what she was speaking about in this backwater weyr anyway.

A flicker of a shadow was all that annouced the small blue's arrival. His pale stomach grazed the canopy tops just before he reached the river, silently dipping into a sharp glide that drew him just short of Elysia. Black talons slashed at the air about her unbound hair, stirring the inky strands as he zipped by – taking special care not to bowl her over with his tail as he passed in a blur. He spun in a tight corkscrew as he moved by Onyth on the river back, crooning laughingly at the dark green before steering his path out over the waters.
Couldn't resist, could you. Wanted to ssee how sshe'd fair againsst the attack sshe didn't know wass coming. Nothing like a pissed off green rider in the morning. Welcome Ssun'o'mine.[/i][/color]
Ba'sun grunted from where he stood just inside the tree line, shoulder against the rough bark of a wide trunk and a hand raised to scratch at the dark growth along his jaw. Had to shave off the old one that had become a rat's nest from being imprisoned. The new one he was shaping had yet to grow past the point where it stopped itching. He had been sleeping. Had. Until a romping greenpair came trolling through his neck of the woods. The recognition was near instant; the woman a very distinct individual. It was none other than R'sia's girl or, lately as Ba'sun liked to think of her, J'lorin's little bird – Elysia.
He also was going to say something sardonic to the little quips of conversation that drifted his way, but it had been then that Ekarth had decided to make an appearance. Now, that left the rider in a rather awkward position, didn't it. Heh. Ba'sun gave a low appreciative whistle to draw the green rider's attention, smiling broadly when he had her eyes. "Elly."A faint nod of greeting. "I see you haven't been letting the south let you go all flabby. That, or it's the reason you wear those leathers so tight. Keep everything in place n'all."
Ba'sun pulled his idling hand out of his pocket, both meeting in front of his chest to making a groping motion close to his chest to make it clear he was talking about here breast. He never claimed to have any form of tact, and his sense of humor was misplaced half the time. But hell, it was Elysia for crying out loud – she'd probably take it as a compliment he was looking.

Ekarth’s sudden arrival was welcomed with a challenging hiss, Onyth’s eyes bleeding to crimson as her lips pulled back to snap her full array of teeth at the passing blue. Sharpened talons dug into the earth the dark dragon’s tail lashing across the bank and sending up a spray of sand. His laughing croon was returned with low menacing rumble as she rose to her feet head snaking upwards to keep an eye on the ‘problem’. Onyth’s reaction was far different from Elysia’s.
The first warning gust of wings had the woman dropping to her knees instinctively, arms raised and curled over her head to protect it. Not that that would do much good against talons. Dark eyes impassively watched the blue as he winged over the water, a tight mental rein all that was keeping Onyth from surging upwards in pursuit. Easy darling. He’s just playing. Well he can get his amusement somewhere else unless he would like to have his wings ripped from his back.
Before the greenrider could respond to her dragon a whistle caught her attention and she shifted to stand and catch sight of the interloper. Mild surprise flashed across her features but she quelled it just as quickly as it came. One eyebrow rose slowly at his grin and greeting. Well, well now if it wasn’t Ba’sun. Mr. drugged and bound himself. Looked like S’rei had finally let the rats loose for playtime in the south. How very nice of him. The nickname riled her a little but she would be a fool to let it show. Elly was far to close to a nickname she liked. The bluerider’s comments however soothed her ruffled feathers a little and caused Elysia to flash him a smile. Quite the sense of humor he had. Couldn’t quite forget /that/ about him.
Shifting her stance to put one hand on her hip she tossed her hair back over her shoulder and purposely stuck a pose. “Wear em tight for many different reasons hun.” Straightening up and bouncing once on the balls of her feet, to purposely bounce her breasts, she gave a light chuckle. “Keeps a lot of things in check. Not just ‘flab’ as you call it.” Striding forward and towards him Elysia ignored the warning growl from her dragon, shushing her mentally. Not like the little ‘prisoner’ would try anything right now anyway. Unless he wanted the weyr to come down on his head. All the same the greenrider wasn’t stupid and she was anything but trusting in the way she approached. Circling Ba’sun with measured steps the woman appraised him openly. “You my dear could used a bit of flab. Far to skinny.”
Steeping backwards she stretched feline like before sitting down on a rock and crossing her legs. “So they’ve been keeping you pretty tightly collared haven’t they? Is that why Ekarth finds it fun to take a pass at my head?” Smiling lightly and without humor she tsked. “Oh wait. I forgot he has a odd sense of humor anyway, correct me if I am wrong. You’ll have to forgive Onyth her fit. She is just as possessive as she ever was.” Leaning backwards on her hands her dark eyes went from her dragon back to the benden rider.
“Been a good long time since I’ve last seen you. Hardly recognized you at first. How do you like the south? A bit backwards feeling no?” Idle conversation was really not Elysia’s thing. But for once she was honestly a bit curious and it never hurt to examine old acquaintances. Speak for yourself. Now. now Onyth. Be nice. You didn’t mind Ekarth all to much at Benden. Snorting the green continued to watch the odd blue but the crimson had long ago left her eyes, replaced with only mild irritation.

Ssuch ire, One wing dipped to skim the tip through the waters as Ekarth wheeled around in a wide, lazy circle – return to the area. Do not be sso hard on thysself. Not many are quick enough to ssave their rider from an attack. At leasst sshe attempted a duck. The blue landed, stretching his legs out to catch himself in the shallows aside the rumbling Onyth – sending a sloshing wave at her feet. Grouchy, grouchy green. He sent a carefully measured tail swipe at the water to crescent at a splash at her face.
The bounce was definitely for his benefit. His eyes flicked briefly to her bosom before returning to her face, the amused grin never faltering even as he rose a brow at her comment. Supposed that her little get-up could pause a red-blooded man, drunk on battle, a few key, vital moments to sneak in a killing blow. Shift an attacking man's mind from killing her to.. well, raping her, he guessed. Enemies didn't tend to condone to having a nice romp between the furs amid the heat of fight.
Or, his mind simply went down that road of thought because Elysia was a pleasant sight to a man that had gone without for over a turn.
"You wound me," His hand pressed to his clothed chest as his brow furrowed in feigned sorrow. "I compliment your breasts and you insult the results of my new diet." The bluerider lazily turned as Elysia circled, putting the tree trunk between his shoulders and both hands in his pockets. A simple belt knife at his waist. He had yet to find decent enough wood to make himself a new bow and arrows – that and he didn't care to make the residents nervous by toting around more weapons. The lot of them still viewed him as fresh defector, and the past had made them wary of new comers hailing from the north. Couldn't fault them for the caution, and Ba'sun felt no need to give them the impression of being dangerous.
"Ekarth? Who knows. I think he's going senile with old age. Too much firestone and greens in his hay days." Not that his blue had really ever known a time of peace. A turn of weyrlinghood, another post graduation of folly cut short by the war. Idly Ba'sun wondered if there were any others of his weyrling class that could even recall that Ekarth had been born odd. He shrugged, glancing in the direction of where a fore mentioned blue was attempting to get Onyth to 'play' with him.
His dark eyes gradually returned to the slinking minx. "No doubt I've grown more handsome in that time." Softly toned, as Ba'sun rarely took anything seriously. He lifted his shoulders a second time, head tilting back and forth in a show of debating Elysia's actual question. "Can't complain. I've been asking for vacation time for as long as I can remember." Letting her translate it as she would, Ba'sun continued on. "Depends on what you consider to be backwards. I've seen a lot of defectors here – Benden and Fort alike – and find it hard to believe they've all turned over a new leaf to be considered backwards."

Onyth hissed low at Ekarth but there was no real venom in the noise. Instead she threw a wing forward to stop the water from striking her face. Shaking the water from her wing the dark green flicked it back along her back ridge and dug her talons into the earth. With a rumble she pounced towards Ekarth her teeth clacking near his muzzle in an intentional miss. After her ‘attack’ the female launched herself skyward her tail flicking just past his muzzle in a clear tease. Shall I show you how a real green flies? Shame you have been cooped up for so long. Do your wings even work correctly amusing one? Her tone was caressing and taunting. Clearly she was up for playtime to. If only to gain some amusement today. Wing drills where always interesting but Onyth was still bored. She could humor this male for awhile, might prove interesting.
Elysia smiled back at Ba’sun. Onyth’s own desire for play bleeding over a bit. His feigned hurt drew a feline like smile from the woman. “Darling you hardly need to diet. At least not here. You’ll lose buckets of weight in sweat in the summertime. Believe me. If this summer is anything like the last one you will kill for a bit of snow.” Ah snow one of the things she missed so much about Benden. Leaning back on her hands and flicking her dark hair over one shoulder Elysia gave a slight chuckle. “Senile you say? Why he can’t be that old surely. Still has all his teeth at the very least, although he looks as underfed as ever. Never was a chubby one. Beauty to watch in flight though if I remember correctly. He might be able to even give Onyth a run for her marks.” Although the greenrider doubted it. Onyth was far to prideful to allow a mere blue to best her in flight.
Dark eyes regarded Ba’sun with something close to curiosity. “Handsome hmm?” Her eyes silently appraised him and the greenrider gave a soft chuckle. “Perhaps yes. But I’d take advantage of the southern hospitality if I where you.” Yes another baiting reference to his weight but teasing was a form of play was it not? Idly Elysia leaned forward one manicured eyebrow rising slowly. “Well I hope you enjoy your ‘vacation’. In my case I think I am on permanent leave now. Stuck here like it or not.” Because she had taken a weyrmate more than likely, but her transfer seemed well on eh way to being approved. Now that she had connections to Selenitas she was a ‘liability’ perhaps. Not that she regretted it at all. There was nothing for her back at Benden. Here on the other hand she had Dmitri, a wing she adored, and a few people she might hazard to call ‘friend’.
Tilting her head Elysia shrugged. “True enough. There are enough defectors to make the weyr something of a melting pot. But you’ll quickly notice that things are much more ‘laid back’ here. True enough that a lot of us northerners haven’t changed that much.” Her included. There where some habits that never died. Almost lazily she examined the bluerider again. What had he been up to in all these turns that made him a valuable prisoner? One couldn’t help but wonder. Not that she could currently ask. Instead she mulled a different question. “So who is your jailer? Surely they have someone holding your leash? S’rei is far to busy to do such himself after all. Call it curiosity.” The greenrider rested her hands on her knees as she waited for an answer, dark eyes still fixed on the older man.

The blue's narrow head turned to the side, one eye watching the green's passing with a light whorl of amusement. He sprang after her, a rain of water following him as he flipped around on his back – a foreclaw slashing teasingly near the green's underbelly. A myth his tone hissed playfully over Onyth's mind, I've never sseen a green that could truely fly. Are you a legend Dark'One? He fell away from her, a leaf in the sky as he turned wing over wing until he leveled out just short of the river. His claws raked through the liquid as he turned his attention skyward to watch Onyth.
The smile was simple enough, the eyes calculating as he watched the woman. He raised on hand, a single finger pointing out from the side of his mouth like an overgrown fang. "I trust you're not too young to know the expression long in the tooth." His hand fell back to his side, his eyes straying to the dragons racing off on in their own game. "If anything he needs the exercise after our dormancy." The bluerider wasn't worried, it wasn't a stroke of luck that kept the bluerider and dragon alive through the war. Thusly he shrugged the matter aside.
Permanent leave – Ba'sun wondered if Elysia ever planned to go back to J'lorin's Benden. His dark eyes smiled at her, "That depends. Are you offering some 'southern hospitality' for me to take advantage of?" Certainly was generous enough to tease him from afar. Elysia had a particular reputation back at Benden – one Ba'sun had not forgotten.
"Spitfire," He answered her question with a touch of disinterest in that whole matter. As far as he could remember, F'lix had always been something of a hot-head. Ba'sun nodded his chin toward the far branches. The dark salamandy in question unseen, but he knew she was around. "Sends his little lizard to follow after me. I like to pretend I'm holding secret meetings to keep her paranoid." Smiling, Ba'sun waved his fingers in Lilitu's general direction. "I doubt S'rei is actually is interested in any of us, but I'm sure it's meant to keep us on our toes, hm?"

Onyth pushed herself a bit faster and tucked her legs against the slash of foreclaws. Did Ekarth think her that green in battle? With a draw out hiss that was teasing in nature she angled upwards and angled her head to watch the blue drop. A myth or a dream perhaps? Can you be at all sure I am here at all? Perhaps I am merely a figment of your fantasies. With a resonating growl she began an aerial ballet of feints and dodges against an imaginary opponent before plummeting towards the river below. With suddenness she flicked open a wing turning almost in place before speeding towards the other Benden blue. A rumble of appreciating given for his water trick before she snapped playfully at him, her tail lashing back into the water before she executed another turn and traveled upwards. Come dance with me agile one unless you fear this dream is a nightmare.
Elysia couldn’t help but be buoyed by Onyth’s return to good humor. The greenrider matched Ba’sun smile for smile. “Long in the tooth hmm? Well far be if from me to look a gift runner in the mouth.” Yes she was aware of the expression and what it meant. So teasingly she had added her own. Dark eyes dancing in good humor the woman to looked up at the quickly dwindling dragons. “Well exercise he is sure to get. Onyth loves dancing with her blues. Already claimed a very nice one for herself, although she doesn’t mind playing with those who will permit it.” The woman wasn’t sure if Ba’sun remembered her green’s quirks when it came to flight. Faithful to Saboth Onyth would remain, even if she did like to play a bit with others. Especially when she was bored. The one eyed blue had successfully claimed her dragon’s affections just as Iaemoth had turns ago.
The bluerider’s voice drew Elysia’s attention away from the cavorting dragons and she laughed aloud. “Hmm depends what ‘hospitality’ you are looking for.” Smiling she flipped her dark hair over her shoulder and leaned forward to allow him a better view. “I’ve got my own versions of ‘hospitality‘. Yours and mine might not match up all that well.” Regarding him under dark lashes the greenrider smiled. An inward debate raged. Tell him she was weyrmated or not? Would it matter? Deciding to push the matter aside for now Elysia extended one long leg in a slow stretch.
Her eyes went to the tree he indicated and a smile formed on her lips. “Salamandyrs they are called. Right pains in the ass. I know a couple that I would not feel the slightest bit of sorrow stomping. Unfortunately they are said to bond almost as strongly as dragons. So it would be very cruel of me to stomp one. Hence I swallow the impulse.” Making a face Elysia chuckled. “I do not pretend to know the thoughts or interests of that particular bronzer. He keeps mostly to himself.” Her dark eyes settled on Ba’sun. “He probably has some reason for keeping a close eye on you all.” Her tone implied that perhaps the bluerider in front of her knew the reasons himself.
“You have never done anything to these people. Except come from Benden. You will find these southerners forgiving. To an extent.” Rising from her seat the greenrider arched in a full body stretch and smiled. “You’ve been just as cooped up as your dragon. I don’t suppose I could interest you in some exercise?” Elysia left it to Ba’sun to interpret that as he wished.

Dreamss are shattered with pain. Ekarth mused, watching her solo a battle against the clouds. A quick green, experienced enough to provide entertainment. A good, she was coming to make a pass at him. Ekarth tucked his legs in close, stretch out his neck and tail before making a graceful arc mid-flight to slip right into the deep waters that had been skimming along his underbelly. Allow me to wake uss from thiss dream He surface just ahead of the rushing Onyth, moving vertical to let the dark green deal with the blinding sheet of water. His sinuous body followed in a tight roll, making the dodge around Onyth a caress of green against blue, a trail from the back of claws, and a tail that twined teasingly around hers as they parted in opposite directions.
She was really putting on a show, wasn't she. Ba'sun didn't mind. Not in the least. If she wanted to put herself on display he had no qualms with admiring the view. Of course, it was an act done from the other side of the red velvet rope. Reputations were interesting things, following a man (or woman) all the way to the grave if they let it. Elysia had been known to be something of a cocktease – never making good on her offers. Just seemed to like to stir men up simply because she could. Ba'sun had never been one to suffer such antics lightly.
There was no doubt in his mind – what with her visually teasing him as she was doing – that Elysia knew well enough what hospitality interested him at present. She was right, too, that their views points did not see eye to eye. Thus so, Ba'sun merely smiled in response. "I'm willing to compromise if you are."
Salamandyr and fire lizards; no shortage of eyes in the weyr, that was for a certainty. The man clicked his tongue against his teeth at Elysia's words. "No? Would think J'lorin sent you down to keep tabs on the man, among other things." He implication earned a mere shrug. Fairly sure that S'rei trusted no man, least of all rebels, and keeping a watch on them all was just as he stated – the minimal effort taken to make sure they were aware of their boundaries.
Same old song and dance.
Again he whistled, lowly, at her nice little stretch. All the while not budging from his leaning post. His dark eyes shone with humor. "A kind offer, but shame really. I've never been one for whips and knives." Her combat style, or bedroom play? Both, perhaps. He flashed her a grin. "You might have to go easy on an old man."

Onyth bared her teeth in a draconic grin as Ekarth submerged himself. Pain shatters more than dreams. She said silkily her whirling eyes trying to pick the spot where he was most likely to emerge. A small ripple below the surface, as well as his words, gave her a clue. Enough of one to plan her next move. As the blue exploded from the water she let her first set of transparent lids fall over her eyes and winged into the cascade letting it wash down her hide even as the agile blue wound his way around her.
The outside edge of her own sharpened claws ghosted over his hide as well, tail tip flicking against his as they separated. Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me~ The dark green responded in a sing song before flipping around to again pursue the male. Pushing herself she drew up alongside him and swung herself around him in a loop. As Onyth got to the bottom of the loop she flipped over to glide momentarily on her back foreclaws seeking to glide harmlessly over his belly. Tell me agile one do you dream of things?
Elysia’s eyes met Ba’sun’s evenly a smile lighting her features briefly as she finished her stretch. Compromise hmm? As she wondered what compromise he was after she mentally melded with Onyth for a moment, enjoying the feeling of her green in free flight. A large part of her desired to be in the air with the dark dragon. Dropping her hands to her side the greenrider tapped her tongue against the top of her mouth and turned towards the bluerider. Her voice was even and devoid of any teasing quality. “Compromise hmm? Sure. I don’t mind meeting somewhere in the middle.” Elysia’s foot slid silently across the ground as she steadied her stance and regarded the other Benden rider.
Her dark eyes held no amount of warmth on the topic of S’rei however and she snorted. “J’lorin sent a number of us down for a lot of things. S’rei was never mentioned to me. So unless one of the one of the others has different orders, which I wouldn’t doubt, he is not a topic that overly concerns the new Benden Weyrleader.” A light shrug was given. “My orders where simple. Teach the wings here how to not die pitifully in combat. I gave lessons for awhile and then they stuck me on a wing. I haven’t heard much for months on the state of my assignment and I have been here well over a turn and a half now. Most of us have been. I think it’s safe to say that we are not expected to return.” Yes more than safe enough to assume that. In fact really the greenrider might just as well ask for an official transfer. To be honest she no longer desired to return to Benden. Not currently anyway.
Taking a step towards Ba’sun Elysia smiled, the expression quickly turning into a playful pout. “Well isn’t that depressing. Here I though I might have found a playmate to amuse me for awhile. Seems Onyth is the only lucky one this afternoon.” Idly she checked her weapons. “It’s to bad your not fond of knives and whips…” As she spoke she shed the weapons dropping them into a neat pile. “Lucky for you I don’t need them to play. I’m capable of playing without any toys.” A light smile was given before the greenrider tilted her head. Was this the compromise he spoke of earlier?
“That is if you even want to play.” She bounced lightly on her feet. “You’re not as old as all that either.” Perhaps a little rusty from confinement. Maybe. But certainly not as old as he was making himself out to be. Elysia really couldn’t resist commenting. “If you’re afraid you're too feeble to spar I am sure we can come up with another game to suit us both.” Those words came out in an intentional purr, her eyes half lidding as she gave a smile that was half seduction half amusement.

Ekarth took her offer – whether she meant it or not – and dipped down to clasp his foreclaws around hers as she glided belly-up beneath him. He didn't stop his descent. A wicked shimmer to his eyes as his lids lowered and together he brought them plunging into the river. The slender blue pushed again from the dark green, using his tail to slice through the water as easily as a fish. Mayhapss, dark one, I wissh not to wake thiss dream. A dream where fissh swim the sskiess and dragonss fly the waterss.
Hard not to notice the sharpness of Elysia's tongue at the topic of J'lorin and S'rei – a strange sort of lingering bitterness. Not all that uncommon. Blues and greens were little more than fodder to the majority of metallics. Hard for some people not to develop negative feelings. His thoughts paused when Elysia moved forward, stripping herself of visible weapons. Her offer silently considered with a tilt of his head. As far as actual spars went, Ba'sun was very much a ranged fighter. Knew enough and had enough experience with close quarter fighting to save his skin when enemies got too close. Thing was, he rarely let them get that near..
Against his better judgment, Ba'sun took that step forward to meet in the middle ground. Not into a fighting stance, but nearly brushing against the flirtatious minx. Head dipped down and to the side to better regard the face of the greenrider barely an inch shorter than himself. "Are you? I have half a mind to frisk you for hidden blades. Call it an old man's caution, but I've never known you to play fair."
Asking permission? The questioning brow that arched was certainly waiting for Elysia's reply. He could think of a good number of other games to pass the time. Maybe the day wouldn't be so dull after all.

The clasping of foreclaws brought a croon from Onyth. The noise playful and light. Without resistance she allowed Ekarth to dip them towards the water. Lidding her eyes as they submerged her tail brushed along his underbelly as he pushed away from her. The dark dragon cut through the water with ease her teeth showing in a playful grin as she snapped at a frightened fish. Looking upwards she pushed off the bottom of the river to coil around the male in play, her tail tapping his flank as she passed.
Yessss. An intentional copy of his hissing voice drawn out in Onyth’s feminine tone. I have no illusions of waking either. Let us ‘fly’ then. Looping under the water she shot downriver, allowing the current to carry her as her dark tail flicked teasingly at Ekarth’s muzzle. Come agile one. Do not fall behind. As Onyth sped over the river bed she grabbed a long river reed in her talons allowing it to trail behind her.
Elysia’s dark eyes watched Ba’sun as he pushed away from his perch and strode towards her. Much better. Distance was not conclusive with play. Almost automatically she drew herself up and into a guarded position as the bluerider approached. A part of Selenitas he might be now. By force. But still she would be a fool to drop her guard completely around him. Then again there was a spy close. Somewhere amongst the trees. Onyth was close as well but she was suitably wrapped up in playing with Ekarth and as closely bonded as the two where it only heightened Elysia’s desire for similar play. Although the green’s version of play differed greatly from her riders most of the time, play was play. Perhaps it was an exercise in foolishness but the greenrider was confident in her abilities should push come to shove. After all she shoved rather well.
Tilting her head up towards the slightly taller man the woman couldn’t help the almost predatory smile that came across her face. “I should be honored you remember such things about me.” She purred softly before slightly spreading her legs to both widen her stance and give Ba’sun a subtle clue. “Can’t fault you for being cautious.” Slowly she raised her arms above her head and fixed the other Benden rider with a look quiet interest, her eyes half lidded.
“Go ahead darling. Better be through though.” Dark eyes flashed with amusement as she shook her hair back and threaded her fingers together over her head. “I am quite the crafty one.” Regarding him from under dark eyelashes she waited with only minimal patience for him to make his move. “Just remember my dear Ba’sun, every action begs for a reaction.” Whispered the words where in a heavy seductive tone that was just loud enough to be heard but quiet enough to require attention to process.

Opening his wings, Ekarth used the water much like an air thermal, angling them to fill his sails and allowing the current to push him along after Onyth with minimal effort. Amused, to say the least, as he watched the green ahead of him uproot a plant. After a moment he tucked his wings and legs close to his slender frame and shot forward with a side to side motion of a snake that sped him forward over Onyth. His talons reached for the point where wings met body, as if to catch her, but at the last second darted away to moved around a large boulder that bisected the large river. When he swung back around he came at her at a tangent angle, moving low across the river bed to stir up small ring and dirt as he made a grab for her reed.
Strolling right into a den of viper's. Ba'sun, on some level, was amused at himself. The small motion of her legs all the permission he needed before one hand touched the side of waist, his dark eyes fallen from her face as she lifted her arms; stretching taunt the muscles beneath the snug leathers and further accentuating the curve of her breasts. Ba'sun's lips spread in a smile, his dark eyes reflecting her humor as he against lifted his gaze to her face.
"Is that so?" His hand slipped around her slender hips, firmly running down over her rump and pausing just on the backside of her thigh. "I'm reacting quite well if you were wondering." One brow jumped at the humor present in the words. He began to kneel, slowly, tracing one hand along the outside her thigh. The second hand joining the search with fingers curling along the inside of her thigh. As he moved lower his turned head skimmed just short of making contact with her chest.
"One," He mused, pulling the blade from her boot while tilting his chin up to view her. Admiring the shape of her body from where he knelt. A dark smile touched on his expression. Tempted to nuzzled against her upper thigh from the position. Ba'sun tossed the boot knife aside, switching to the other leg and letting his fingers lead the almost agonizing ascent up her leg. His body only rising when his fingertips detected another blade strapped to her thigh. Hands stand where they were as he stood, keeping only distance enough between their faces so he could watch her full expression. "Two."
His fingers worked to remove the blade, lingering in the task as his mind noted there was still more to check.

Onyth was actually impressed with Ekarth’s actions underwater. He was quite impressive in either air or sky it seemed. This was why she preferred the blues. Beautiful. The dark green’s eyes whirled in amused shades as her companion shot forward over her. His aborted grab for her wings was nonetheless reacted upon. Her own wings where forced closed to better protect them. However the action was not needed as the blue instead preformed a sling shot maneuver around a large rock his goal her river reed. The stirred up dirt and silt would have made sight hard had the current not carried it away. As Onyth felt the tug against the plant her lips pulled back in a amused snarl and she released it. Pushing herself forward the female coiled loosely around Ekarth her tail brushing against this flank as her talons lightly bushed over his back in a dangerous caress. Her head craned around to try and get a look at the reed’s location as her voice sought to distract. Nightmare or dream agile one in the end are they not the same? Each is a product of darkness.
Right into den of viper’s indeed. Or perhaps into a feline’s claws. The touch Ba’sun gave the side of her waist almost made Elysia purr her eyes half lidding as she regarded him with amusement. She was always interested to see what motions her prey would make. In the end that was what the bluerider was. Her prey. Whether or not he realized it. Subtle clues and actions each with a reaction, and depending on how the greenrider reacted… Elysia could likely temper his reactions as well. A subtle game of control and release. Almost imperceptibly she tilted her head back as the older rider’s hands drifted over her hips, the pressure continuing over her rear and ending just at the back of her thigh. “Hmmm is that so?” The words where low and caressing even as she tightened the interlacing of her fingers. Despite her thoughts and plans a body could and often did have other reactions. It was what The greenrider chose to let show that would matter.
Intentionally Elysia allowed her breathing to quicken a little. A soft purr rumbling in her throat as Ba’sun knelt before her, his fingers trailing along her thighs. Another light predatory smile flitted across her face. There was just something about a kneeling man that made her blood run hot. Her dark eyes gazed almost hungrily at him as he continued his ‘search’. The boot knife was easily found and there was not a flicker of an expression as it was tossed aside. “One.” She repeated a light thread of amusement coloring the tone. A light shiver was allowed to run down her body as the bluerider’s hands resumed their travels up along her leg, his body only rising when she felt pressure along the knife she kept strapped to the inside of her thigh. Found that one too did he?
Clever man. Elysia’s breath lingered hotly in the space between their faces though partly open lips as Ba’sun worked at removing that weapon as well. If anything he was thorough. She could give him that much at least. Her dark eyes flashed in challenge at his spoken word. “Two.” A very amused smile met his eyes, the challenge in her gaze remaining even as his fingers continued with removing the blade. One more to find. Almost lazily she allowed her body to lean slightly towards the bluerider’s lessening the space between them till there was barely an inch of free air between her hips and his. “Action makes more fortune than caution you realize my dear friend.” Came the quiet words even as the blade was removed from it’s hiding place. Dark eyes intentionally sought his in subdued amusement, wondering if he would even try to find the last blade.

Ekarth peeled away at the first touch against his back, veering off into shallow waters with the reed hanging from his mouth. Dreamss are dreamss. Fearss are hopess abandoned. It iss all the ssame. Waking. Ssleeping. Life. Death. A world dappled in sshades of gray. How do you tell the difference – why do you make one sshade darker than the other? He broke the surface as he trotted through the shallows, leaping up onto the shore. He whipped around, claws digging into the dirt to avoid slipping from the grass made slick by the water running off his hide. Maybe you are really a blue, dark one, and I am the green you are chassing.
There was something symbolic to the act of disarming a woman in this fashion. Stripping her of her last defenses. He knew right and well a blade was just a tool in an able hand. Elysia had many defenses, physical and metaphorical, but at the moment Ba'sun took pleasure in tossing the second knife aside. His hands, light in their touch, followed the movement of her hips. Neither pushing or pulling, but simply letting her do as she wished. The proximity and warm breath across his face tempted him to close the distance and sample those lips smiling at him.
Had to admit, to himself, that he should of hit up his chances with one of the weyrfolk, relieve that turn long celibacy instead of being played (ever so willingly) into this minx's claws. At the moment, however, Ba'sun couldn't recall why that was such a bad thing. "Whether that be good fortune, or bad, is the question."
Don't trust her.
Yes, he was well aware of that thought, thank you conscious. He slipped around behind her, both palms of his hands flat against her stomach and moving up. His lips nearly touched her dark hair as his searched came a slow, lingering stop even with her breast band. The tips of his fingers followed the underside of her leather covered curves. His hands moved up the underside of her raised arms, gently bending them at the elbow to place her arms around the back of his own head. Ever so tempting to pull her back and mold her body against his.
"So," His tone low against the outside of her ear. A thumb fingered the suspicious shape against her forearm but making no motions to inspect it. "Minx," Lips quirked in an amused smile. "What do you have in mind for this brave mouse." The looks and smile she given him were easy to recognize, and Ba'sun was a man that had sampled a wide variety of women (and men) in his time. May have had a 'weyrmate' back at Benden but neither himself, nor the woman that birthed his sons, had ever been an exclusive couple.

Onyth watched with interest as her playmate made for the shallows. Tired him out did she? His words where confusing. The dark dragon snorting water out of her nostrils as she surfaced. Making her way out of the water and onto the bank she shook sending water in all directions. Only then did she offer a croon of amusement. It is not I that make one shade darker than the other Ekarth. It is what it is. Black, white, or grey do they not all blend? In truth the green wasn’t completely sure what the male was speaking on but if she had to analyze she would say he was talking of morals. Good evil and a blending of both? Then again she could be completely off base as well.
Either way it made little difference. Arching in a stretch Onyth flicked her wings and folded them. Who can say for sure agile one? Perhaps you do speak the truth. Except the color that lined her eyes and ran in a dorsal down her back was undoubtedly green as was the current color of her eyes. This one was amusing. The dark dragon rather thought she would keep him around for the sake of entertainment. Perhaps later she would ask Saboth what he thought. It was his rider that was keeping tabs of this one after all was it not?
The light touches kept the light smile on Elysia’s face. His feather light touches, the way Ba’sun went with the flow pleased her. Part of the pleasure came from Onyth as well. Had the rider resisted or even tried to force her hand she would have been less than accommodating, and in a way it seemed the bluerider knew this. An easy player. On occasion Elysia could appreciate such. Sex was sex after all. The subtle clues he was giving with his gaze told the Benden rider all she needed. Likely she could get him to turn all sorts of circles if she played her cards right. Made her want to try. There was a subtle nagging voice in the back of her mind but for the moment it was unimportant because her ‘toy’ was speaking.
The words Ba’sun chose caused amusement to stir in her eyes. “Good or bad in the end fortune is fortune. It is what you chose to accept it as that matters.” Her voice was caressing even as the bluerider moved around behind her. Elysia had to fight the urge to stiffen. Having someone at her back wasn’t the smartest thing ever and she had no trust for this one. Then again he had none for her either. Even ground of a sorts. Forcing herself to stay loose for the moment, the woman let his hands roam at will seemingly drinking in the attention as her mind pondered ways to escape if necessary. The older rider’s voice against her ear caused a shiver to escape although she did her best to quell the reaction. Wasn’t quite quick enough. No matter.
Her voice was a purr as she let her body relax back to mold into his. A bid to distract him from her final hidden weapon. She intentionally leaned backwards into his hips trusting that it would push his mind further from anything but release of tension. “That depends my little mouse. Are you willing to squeak for me?” In the end Elysia had no qualms about sleeping with the man and if he would submit willingly, she was only to happy to give him what he wanted. Besides her blood was already running hot in her veins and if this didn’t end like she was predicting it would she would have to find an outlet. One way or another.
