It was just before the fourth afternoon hour and Nephele found herself in the infirmary, looking around for Erilena. She knew her friend was interested in dragon healing but she was fairly sure that the greenweyrling still helped out with people. She poked her head into the infirmary rooms to try and find her friend but she ended up finding something else rather interesting. She'd seen him around the weyr before and knew who he was...and more importantly what he rode. With his arrogance, Nephele hadn't been too surprised to see him Impress bronze. She actually recognized him from long ago.
Nephele doubted the man in the room she'd just peeked into remembered her from Benden Weyr, but that was where she'd first seen him. She knew his twin too. He hadn't recognized her or she was sure he would have mentioned it. Since she knew the redhead wasn't M'kai it had to be Cr'oph. Of...gah, she couldn't remember. Mother sent a feeling of disapproval through the bond as he caught His' intentions. What about Charming's friend's bonded? It took a moment for the girl to understand what the bronze was trying to communicate but he walked her through it patiently. Oh, K'sel.
Even she couldn't immediately grasp what her firelizards tried to tell her. She could rarely make sense out of what Diva told her. Silly green screamed far too much. Anyways, not what she was concerned about. She had to decide whether to approach the ex-Benden candidate or just move on. Bah, whatever. She put on a mask of friendliness and entered the room. She was counting on him being too happy to see a pretty girl in his room to wonder why she was there. She could probably pretend to be an assistant if he did ask.
Yeah, Nephele was really counting on him not asking why she was there. "Good afternoon, Cr'oph. How are you feeling?" Rumours had spread rather quickly after the fight - Run? - and Erilena had confirmed them as true for her. Mother's wings flciked open for a moment but he subsided silently on her shoulder. He loved His but she needed so much uplifting and guidance sometimes.
