Physical Appearance;
T'san has a very youthful appearance at least as far as his face and hair go. He seems to inherited more of his mother's softer features making him look like a more feminine version of his father. He has expressive hazel eyes that are framed by enviable lashes. His light brown hair is roughly ear length and is often mussed up. It's not for lack of care on his part, for the hair is very soft and well taken care of. He simply goes for the just woke up and walked out the door look on purpose. The time in the south has turned his pale Northern complexion into a light tan one.
In build, T'san is perfectly classified as average. He stands at a height of 5'8", just about the average height for males. He is clearly defined as a man by the muscles all over his body. They’re the combination of being a dragon rider and exercise that few know about. His training regiment used to be fairly lax, but he has stepped it up a bit and so he’s gotten more toned and a little stronger since then. He is careful not to overbuild any area so he looks really well balanced. He’s gotten more fit since his jogs with S'rei (the influence for him to get more fit overall).
T'san's dressing is a bit peculiar. For a person of such vibrant personality, he wears surprisingly normal clothes. He very rarely wears shorts except for swimming despite the heat of the south. He most commonly wears brown or black pants. Despite his seeming dislike for showing his legs, he has no problem showing his chest and so it’s quite common for him to go bare chest when possible. He's taken to wearing a shirt more often than before, and when he does wear a shirt he almost always wears an undershirt as well. Claw marks on his chest show why it's more prudent to wear a second shirt. He seems willing to wear just about any colour shirt, though he favours reds and whites a little. The only really odd thing about his clothing is he likes to wear odd coloured socks.
Personality;
T’san’s personality certainly is a bit odd. Many wonder if he really was raised in the North or if he just made that story up. If not for the fact that Dsoleth certainly wasn’t born at Selenitas, the man would likely try to encourage a rumour that he isn’t really Northern. Why? Just because it would be fun. He has a very light personality and likes to joke around and just generally have fun. He can be serious when the time calls for it, but even then he’s still likely to make a few jokes. He’s almost eternally optimistic and loves to find the upside to every situation.
He’s a very shameless person in general. When he’s caught doing silly things he tends to just laugh along with whoever caught him at it. It takes a lot to embarrass him. He does tend to dislike others knowing he’s lost or injured though that might have more to do with feeling vulnerable than actual embarrassment. His shamelessness also lets him interact with people of higher or lower rank than him without him caring at all. He doesn’t care how it looks or how the other person feels about their reputation with him around. To him, everyone is equal and he has no intention on biasing based on what they did or didn’t Impress.
It’s hard to tell if you’re counted as a friend or not by T’san. He treats friends and non-friends very alike outwardly. However, if someone is receiving a lot of emotional support from him, that’s one good sign that he considers them a friend. He wouldn’t ask about someone’s problems if he didn’t care. Also, he’s far more likely to defend a friend from others than he would a random person. Loyal and supportive to his friends he is. It’s not all that hard to befriend this man though it may be a little hard to always get along with him since he seems to enjoy pestering others to a degree. One method of doing so with women (and the occasional man) is flirting with them. This is a double-edged sword, though, because sometimes when he really means it the women think he doesn’t.
T’san is a fairly lazy person, for lack of anything more interesting to do than play around. If given purpose he is more than capable of hard work but he must see the purpose as his own and not others’. One thing he genuinely loves to do is try and solve puzzles. Besides playing, this is a frequent thing he does to pass time when he’s not busy with his duties. He also devotes a fair amount of time to his friends and companions because, on a very subconscious level, he likes them to know they are adored as well as remind them that he does exist. He thrives on interactions with others and without them he tends to get lonely.
History;
Birth and Early Turns (2990-2996)
Tamorsan was born to the prominent Journeyman Beastcrafter Roditam and his wife Alorsa in Ruatha Hold. Roditam was one of several Journeymen responsible for Ruatha's prized runners and other livestock. Despite being somewhat weak of body, Alorsa was overflowing with a cheerful, offbeat personality that her son inherited. The boy was much closer to his mother than his cold father. Life took a darker tone when the war began and Ruatha was left in shambles by the feuding dragonriders. Still, his father refused to move the family because he was determined to ressurect Ruatha's runners eventually.
Training and Thread (2996-3006)
Despite his incredibly young age, Roditam began training young Tamorsan to be a beastcrafter, unofficial thought his training was. He started the boy on watching and simple tasks but as he got older he started to understand more and began to fill a larger role. It was while caring for a runnerbeast that was ill that he was approached by Leni, his future best friend and crush. It was during a walk outside of the Hold proper that Tamorsan and Leni discovered the horrors of Thread when it menaced Pern once again. The boy survived the fall but his best friend did not. Distraught and confused, the boy merely waited for the fall to claim him as well. He was not killed by Thread as he'd half-hoped because a Fort greenrider saved him.
Fort Weyr (3006-3012)
J'ter brought Tamorsan back to Fort Weyr and took the boy in. Tamorsan had no desire to go back to his home...or do anything, really. The shock and grief of Leni's death was just a bit too much for such a cheerful boy. What finally snapped it out of him was his Impression to Dsoleth. He hadn't even been a candidate when the single boldly coloured hatchling had climbed its way into the Stands and proclaimed him T'san's. When they graduated weyrlinghood, the new brownrider asked to be assigned to Thread wings. Dsoleth may have been strong but he played well at being a clumsy brown unfit for fighting other dragons. During his time at Fort Weyr, T'san lived with J'ter despite the bias against homosexuals. He was simply too likeable to truly hate.
Selenitas Weyr (3012-3016)
After R'anatar took over Fort Weyr, the brownrider became disatisfied with the leadership and made up his mind to go south. Though he arrived from Fort shortly after the weyr had attacked their main hall, T'san escaped too much suspicion. He started over in the southern weyr and found it well suited to his personality. He gained a feline and a green salamandyr that he named Spice and Aliene respectively. He also met Meira of gold Jingth who he eventually fell in love with. Life passed by relatively uneventfully for the brownrider until his old weyr attacked Selenitas Weyr. His loyalty was quite clear when he defended his new home. Still, things did not go his way afterwards. Aliene died and he was left in a depressed state until he Impressed a blue firelizard he came to call Nevroti and he moved on.
When Jingth rose for the first time it was Dsoleth who caught the gold he was so enamored with. This became the trigger to the beginning of his relationship with Meira, despite his uneasiness about her having a child. He was very proud of his brown's babies and was unbelievably happy with Meira until Wasteland attacked and Meira escaped along with many of his friends. Though the brownrider desperately wanted to chase after Meira and the other exiles, he remained at Selenitas to support the few friends that remained there.
New Regime (3016-3017)
T'san reluctantly served the Wastelanders though he did so with fairly good grace. It really wasn't so bad if he ignored the absence of those he cared for. He'd always been the adaptive sort. Life brightened again when the Hyphen Gather came around and he was briefly reunited with Meira and Elysia. Meira ended up leaving her salamandyr behind at Selenitas and so T'san always had a way to tell that she was alive. The brownrider was devastated when the very sign that she was alive vanished, clueing him into the fact that his love was no longer alive. He grieved quietly for he couldn't let too many people realize what had happened. Eventually he knew he'd be okay but it wouldn't be easy.
And it wasn't, but he learned to adjust, to move on in time. He had a brief set back during the earthquake when his firelizard, Nevroti, was crushed under falling rocks but he became focused on another task to cope. He still mourned his firelizard but with Dsoleth, Svelte, and even Spice supporting him he couldn't fall. The move to the new weyr helped too and he could almost feel Meira's presence there, what with Jingth's youngest batch of babies there and Riaren. T'san struck up a slightly unexpected friendship with A'emi - oh sure they'd known each other before from Fort and were on good terms but still unexpected - and ended up letting the man stay in his weyr following the removal of A'emi's door during a 'mandyr run.
A'emi proved an interesting roommate and it was mutually decided that they both liked each other well enough to keep sharing. Bonus for amusing rumours that started to spread about them. The pet plague rolled around and T'san was all set to panic due to the circumstances being similar to Aliene's death until A'emi suggested sending the pets to Nabol Hold for a while. Svelte let herself be convinced somehow - to date T'san doesn't know how it happened - and the brownrider found himself bereft a mindmate for a while. During that time he hung around A'emi a lot more and other friends of his too.
Somewhere around the six month mark of being roommates with A'emi, the greenrider woke him up in the middle of the night asking if they could be weyrmates. T'san agreed because, hey, he liked A'emi well enough to give it a shot of the other man wanted to do the whole monogamy thing with him. Of course, once they started T'san started falling pretty fast, just as he always did when it came to romance. Fairly quickly he was posessive and even if he wasn't sure he loved the man he certainly valued him highly. They were comfortable together and T'san was happy.
The Great War (3018-3020)
Early in the following turn T'san somehow Impressed a brown firelizard who he named Castiel. He was a quirky little fellow but T'san loved him anyways (even if he was a little apprehensive with draconid pets). Following that was training with Benden against Fort Weyr. This was something T'san had mixed feelings about. While he had left Fort because he didn't like the leadership he had never truly hated the weyr his dragon was born at. Still, Selenitas Weyr was his current home and if they thought offence would be the best defence he'd go with it. He participated in the final attack though he and Dsoleth earned a few injuries due to being a bit distracted. His weyrmate was infiltrating the weyr itself, after all. Pretty much immediately after the big battle T'san finally told A'emi exactly how much he meant to him. It hadn't been an easy thing for him to admit he loved someone again but ultimately he preferred it if A'emi knew.
Post-war (3020-present)
What happened after the war came to a close was actually something T'san enjoyed. Minus a couple people, most of his good friends not only survived but were also assigned to Selenitas Weyr. As a bonus, no more fighting! He had always been a Threadfighting rider at heart. A'emi, however, was not. T'san was not blind to his weyrmate's growing restlessness but that didn't really stop his possessively jealous side from rearing its head. T'san wasn't entirely sure what made him constantly claim A'emi has his in front of others or physically show others that, yeah, he was the one with A'emi. Their relationship had always been comfortable before then, happily oblivious to others' opinions. Perhaps it was T'san's fear that someone like M'kai who had held so much sway over A'emi would come along again or maybe it was just the way T'san got after a while. Either way it rubbed A'emi the wrong way and at the end of 3022 they split. T'san was very much not okay internally but he had experience break ups before and at least there was hope because A'emi was still alive. A hope that paid off less than a month later when the two once again encountered each other and admitted neither one was over the other. After a fun makeup in the stables, the two decided to rekindle the relationship but take it slower.

16 (August 3006)
Brown #774400
Physical Appearance;
Dsoleth is a one-off from his clutch in that he has a decidedly vivid colouration. While most of his clutchmates - and indeed most of the other dragons from Fort – are the typical pale hues of colour, his brown is bold and beautiful. Yes, the tone of his brown colour is beautiful – medium brown tinged ever so slightly with red. Coupled with the odd solidity of his colour are the strange stripes that begin on the back of his head and continue on down to his tail. These stripes are a lighter, paler hue of brown. Other than his markings, he’s the most solid colour throughout his build you might ever see. The only other markings he has are faded Thread scars and the odd one from rare forays into a fighting wing.
In build he is also unique from his clutchmates. His clutch was primarily made of long, slender dragons but he could hardly be considered slender. Dsoleth is large for a brown, very nearly reaching the size of smaller bronzes. His mass comes primarily from a bulky build rather than long. The contrast in length between him and leaner large beasts is very noticeable but he cannot be considered fat by any stretch of imagination. The clearly defined strength throughout his body shows his bulk as all muscle. His wings are clearly made to support his large frame and their somewhat wider sails mark him as an excellent glider. With all his strength the brown lasts long in the air for he has a truly formidable endurance though he will never be as fast or maneuverable as more streamlined, small browns.
Personality;
Dsoleth is an energetic dragon and loves the company of any creature, from kittens to other dragons. To most he is very courteous and friendly. He is quick to make friends and doesn’t discriminate about colour. A green’s company is as great as a bronze’s in his opinion. None could fault him for his manners to others but with his rider he is such a strange beast. He genuinely loves His but sometimes he can seem a bit cold to him. Such as when His is injured, he worries about him but wouldn’t show this side to his rider directly. He may make suggestions or comments that guide His in the right way but beyond that he acts almost mocking of His. Pranks on his rider may be common.
Despite the way he acts, Dsoleth is protective of His and will not tolerate someone hurting the feelings of His. Or hurting him physically, for that matter. If you have somehow angered this dragon it is in your best interest to stay away. He will make his dislike quite clear and is not adverse to carrying someone off and dropping them in a lake if he must. Good thing His does not hurt easily and Dsoleth rarely gets angry. One of the other ways to anger him is to touch his hoard. Yes, he does indeed have a hoard that he refuses to let anyone but His near. Some things included in the hoard are a piece of his shell, his first harness, and a herdbeast bone. Ask him about any of the items in his hoard and be prepared for an explanation of each of them.
Dsoleth is not one generally to accept a mate. He Flies for nearly every green and may even try for a queen. There was one exception to this rule and with his transfer to Selenitas he will begin Chasing any female again. There really is no particular thing he looks for in a mate other than health. Then again, his previous mate was pretty headstrong and was very content to boss him around. Perhaps he is drawn to strong-willed females?

Male
Physical Appearance;
Even though as a cub he appears small, this little fellow will obviously be a large feline when grown up. However, ‘large’ is reflective of his slim, stream-lined build, like a wildcat; he’s powerful and muscular even as young as he is, and no part of him will ever be fat. In many ways he could be described as handsome, as he has a slender face that will always make him look young, and he has a long tail that he often keeps raised up behind him as he prances about. He’s naturally agile and graceful at once, easily able to weave in and out of a large array of fragile objects without breaking a single one of them.
As far as appearance and coloring goes, this little male takes after his sire strongly. The majority of his body is a creamy white – not true ivory, but significantly lighter than what most would call true ‘cream.’ However, pale orange drapes over the top of his head and down his back in a cape, leaving him with a white underbelly, neck and bib, along with socks and gloves. The over-all effect is a feline that looks like cream soda, complete with the white fizz on the top. His fur is long and very silky, particularly around his face where it spreads from his cheeks in an almost comically pointed manner; he resembles a Terran raccoon. The long fur comes up to tufts on the tips of his ears, emphasizing their points, and his tail is long enough to act like a duster. Amidst the orange and white, vivid blue eyes stand out on this feline. This might give the impression that he’s blind, but it’s inaccurate – he sees just fine. He’s just lucky enough to have ‘em!
Personality;
Playful is this cub. Exceptionally so, in fact! He likes to chase virtually anything that moves, a habit that will not dissipate with age. The more easily accessible it is, the more likely to pounce he will be. Things like strings, ropes and even salamandyrs and fire lizards are among his favorite playtoys, and this feline will do virtually anything for the chance to play with them. Climbing, sneaking about, pouncing – you name it, he’s there. He’s also got a long memory. Creatures that play with him once will always be sought out in friendship, and his pet is especially unfortunate when it comes to this. Tying boots will always be a chore, and Faranth forbid he ever find his pet in a towel (he’ll definitely be chasing it). He also has a fondness for leather and will chew on it anytime it comes into his vicinity. Om nom nom.
With his human-pet, this feline is exceptionally affectionate and lovable. He’s a traditional “lap cat” and often wants to be held. When his pet is sitting, he’ll climb into his lap and curl up, purring, and at night he’s very happy to sleep curled up right next to his person’s chest. Perhaps one of his least endearing traits though is that he chases eyeballs – specifically, when people are asleep, he’ll lick their eyelids due to the rapid eye movement of sleep. Aside from that, he’s a very sweet cub, and very well-behaved in the sense that he doesn’t beg, will be easy to paper train, and he never claws on the furniture. “Get down” is a phrase he understands and obeys without question, and when his pet is sad, he’ll always be the first one there to help. Reliable is this feline and faithful ‘til the end. After all, he never forgets what all his pet has done for him!

6 (December 3016)
Green #1cce10 #000000
6 (December 3016)
Green #1cce10 #000000
Physical Appearance;
As with her clutchsiblings, the green is well-formed and devoid of any noticeable mutations beyond the normal variance of body composition in salamandyrs. Actually, for her part, she is much like her brother the Disciple Blue in that her size and shape are a perfect example of average for her color. It is her coloring that diverges from the norm. This green does not have any spots whatsoever, a most unusual thing for a chromatic salamandyr.
No, in point of fact it seems much like her creator got tired of arranging for all the interesting markings and color designs and decided that a green salamandyr should just be a green salamandyr. She is solid green, at least at first glance. Her underbelly, however, has been layered with black, in some patches darker than others so that it almost looks like stripes of deep forest green and pure black. Membranes of wings and frill are black, and so, curiously, are her eyeridges, seeming like she’s had eyebrows painted on above her eyes.
Personality;
Perverse. If one word was needed to describe this girl, perverse is most certainly the word. She does precisely the opposite of what Hers wishes her to. Oh, there have been disobedient, willful salamandyrs before, but none who derives so much pleasure from simply doing exactly what isn’t wanted or expected of her. And not just with Hers, either. Of course, with others she doesn’t always have the benefit of knowing just what they’re thinking or feeling, so it’s somewhat imperfect, but you can be certain she’ll do the exact opposite of what she’s told.
The irony is that this isn’t so much a rebellious streak as a firm belief that everyone always lies. Not just once in awhile, but all the time. The deceit in the world is rife everywhere and she is the only one who sees the Truth. Thus she must impart said Truth to the world at large – which in her mind is defined as the opposite of what all the deceivers and the deceived are saying – though unfortunately she has somewhat limited speech. This frustrates her when she can’t get her point across and causes her to go sulk in her bonded’s hair until something distracts her from it.
Strangely enough, she’s a quite sweet girl and generally undemanding apart from that one weird idiosyncrasy. She tries to help out other salamandyrs and people when she sees a need and can often be noted bearing gifts and food to other creatures (though not without proclaiming her own brand of Truth, naturally). As part of her general perversity, however, the green sticks to Chasing and doesn’t Run herself, though she doesn’t seem to quite understand the concept of the ‘Chase’; she’s not actually seeking a mate, you see. The green’s merely concerned that the Running ‘mandyr is in trouble, and does not understand why they might get annoyed at her after she catches them.

Brown #291000 #8a6945 #8f4a00
4 (March 3018)
Brown #291000 #8a6945 #8f4a00
Physical Appearance;
Built on the small side is this brown, with a neat, spare frame that speaks volumes about his grace and maneuverability in the air. With long slender wings and a level of comprehension of air currents and between elusive to most dragons, never mind other firelizards, this small male’s utterly enchanting to behold. In the air, anyway; on the ground he’s vaguely awkward with long slim legs and even a little creepy with a penchant for still watchfulness rarely present when he’s flying. His face is prettier than handsome, with femininity in the concave curve from forehead to muzzle and large bright eyes, but there’s a lethal masculinity in the strength of his small body anyway.
In color he is undeniably lovely; his hide is as dark as freshly-turned soil, and gleams with rich undertones—with every movement red and gold ripple over his body. It’s an especially prominent effect in his wings, which literally shine with transparent rainbows when light hits them like a living oil spill. A dustier brown color spills over the majority of his back, starting near the base of his neck and crowding down his spine to wrap around his haunches and cut off near his tail and his hind legs. His shoulders, however, remain dark, inscribed with strange orange-brown markings—clean stark symbols that seem to have a glow of their own as they scribe over his ribs and up his neck to vanish at his jaw.
Personality;
Here’s one that sticks out like a sore thumb; he’s a stiff, quiet little creature who manipulates between with such ease that most people never hear him leaving—or coming, which can be infinitely startling even if he never means it. Social standards will have to be very firmly impressed upon him, for what others take for granted tends to be a total miss for him, and he’s extraordinarily literal-minded and closed-off for all his incredible intelligence. Colloquialisms, jokes, even just weirdly-phrased comments will have to be explained, but once it’s said once he’s good about remembering, mostly. His own subtle sense of humor—exceptionally dry and deadpan—tends to slip under the radar; it’s quite easy to mistake him as being completely serious.
He’s a very deliberate and faithful creature, needs someone to rely on and from the very beginning the idea of independence will bewilder and enchant him—appealing and incomprehensible and wonderful. His loyalty and affection for His are forever—and while he’s awkward when it comes to physical affection, moving with a stiff discomfort and uncertainty for the most basic of gestures like rubbing against someone’s hand or casually curling a tail around their wrist, they’re all the more naively genuine for it. That said, getting close to him is a long process; the brown’s always confused by overtures of friendship, and for his own part is aware of his own inadequacy at anything remotely social.
He is instead very watchful; His can come to expect him to behave quite like a guardian angel in many respects, complete with a cold deadliness seems quite at odds with his typical calmness should some evil decide to glance the wrong way at His. The brown’s master of a stillness and lack of motion that can pass him off as a particularly expertly crafted statue, and he likes to cram himself in neat little nooks and crannies near the ceiling when he can find them. Startling people has never particularly appealed to him (fortunately for essentially everybody), but it’s just something that comes along with his little quirks anyway.
