As Rajnith's glow brightened, Ten's mood darkened. She'd done her best to keep herself busy, to put her brain away from the impending flight - something made infinitely easier by C'oar, who'd given her the courage to leave her rooms after Meira's horrible murder - but little things kept reminding her. An uneven step, a glimpse of the stars, even the quality of light at that particular time on a clear afternoon; everything reminded her of him. Even Rajnith, widely known for her incredibly bad temper leading up to Flight, was being gentle with her SlaveLove, fearful of setting off... what?
She wouldn't cry, Ten knew that. She was far beyond tears; those had ceased more than a year ago, what few she shed. There hadn't been much time during the evacuation. It wasn't anger, either, she wasn't a person especially prone to rage (outside of the Forge). It was more a feeling of helplessness, inability to stop or change what was to come. Her bronzerider had neither ridden in on his glorious steed to rescue her nor appeared magically in the night, committing treason for her love; not that Ten had ever really been the kind of girl that needed rescuing anyway (recent mistakes excepted). She was old enough, now, to know that harper's tales were different from real life, and if she expected any rescuing, she'd have to take care of it herself. Of course, there was no rescue to be had, here. The flight would happen, she'd... mate with someone else. That would be that.
It wasn't that she'd be false to Mi'rah - it was as unreasonable to expect that he would remain loyal (or even notice when she came back) as it was to ask Rajnith not to fly. No, what bothered her was that someone would be hurt before all this nonsense got worked out. She hated bringing pain to others.
TenlieSlaveLove, we must go now, or it will be too late,[/i] Rajnith said, tone gentle as she stretched herself in the smooth, honey light of late afternoon. With my luck the only one that'll chase is Mavenath, Ten whined, settling Grip on the bed and mentally giving her firelizards the command to stay here. I would not worry about suitors, MySlaveLove; I have many consorts,[/i] Rajnith replied, and Ten sighed, I just want one...
Oh, do stop mooning about it,[/i] Rajnith snapped, her usual irritableness finally breaking through her mask and actually bringing a smile to Tenlie's face. There was the Rajnith she knew. He's not coming, you'll just have to have someone else. Do try to enjoy it, it will be good for you.[/i] With a sigh, Ten grabbed two bedfurs and mounted up, annoyed that the journey out to the desert meant she needed to wear pants rather than a skirt. She had always been more comfortable in skirts. I Fly,[/i] Rajnith called to the Weyr as she and Ten rose into the air, This time, as gifts are difficult to transport, I require poetry. Songs will also suffice.
With that, they went between. In the desert, Rajnith touched down near a small stand of stickery trees, letting Ten dismount and set up her furs while she settled in what little shade there was. It was near sunset, so the shadows were long and thin, dark fingers stretching into the dusk. The heat was bearable; in an hour or two, it would be frigid, but for now the cool air would feel good on flushed bare skin. That thought, of course, made Ten herself blush, cheeks flaring red... and it did feel good. Sitting to remove her boots, she dug her toes into the sandy dirt and hitched a halfhearted smile onto her face, and waited for her males.

Jazheera stood a better chance of stopping a bull mid charge than she did stopping Dhavalth from chasing Rajnith. It simply wasn't going to happen so she didn't bother trying to resist it. One problem remained, though...there were precious few people her beloved Tod trusted in this weyr and she heavily suspected Mavenath would be chasing too. With a disgruntled growl she stalked over to Tenlie's weyr with the best option she could think of. Grip was Tod's brother, if she remembered right. The green should be fine with him.
Not entirely content but having no other choice in the matter, Jazz wandered back to the surpringly patient Dhavalth. Aha, he was calm because he was coming up with the poetry Rajnith had demanded oh so kindly. he was the only rhyming dragon in the weyr that he knew of so he figured he had a bit of an advantage. His thoughts were echoed by Jazz and she grimaced slightly. This was bound to be a little awkward. She wasn't oblivious to Tenlie's mood lately and she suspected the reason for it, though she could never bring herself to ask despite her all-consuming curiosity.
The disappeared only to reappear at the desert. Dhavalth touched down briefly to allow His off but did not linger on the ground long enough for her to move far enough away from the blue to resist the wind his wings created. She stumbled slightly towards Tenlie, shooting the blue a dirty look before turning her attention to Tenlie. It was, she decided, always a bit of an odd shift in her perceptions when she began to see a female greenrider as desirable when Dhavalth chased. She was not against homosexuals - far from it in fact - but she did not identify herself as anything but heterosexual, despite her tomboy-ish nature.
Dhavalth had had ample time to prepare quite a lovely piece of poetry for the beginning of Rajnith's Rise. Undoubtedly her flight would be peppered with his poetry, but for now, he lovingly intoned:
Though dusty wits dare scorn astrology, And fools can think those lamps of purest light Whose numbers, ways, greatness, eternity, Promising wonders, wonder do invite, To have for no cause birthright in the sky, But for to spangle the black weeds of night: Or for some brawl, which in that chamber high, They should still dance to please a gazer's sight; For me, I do Nature unidle know, And know great causes, great effects procure: And know those bodies high reign on the low. And if these rules did fail, proof makes me sure, Who oft fore-judge my after-following race, By only those two stars in Rajnith's face.

It had been awhile since he had chased and Mavenath simply informed Cr’oph that since he had not been allowed to chase Onyth he was going up after Rajnith. The bronzer had only snorted and shrugged. Whatever. Tenlie wasn’t a bad looking sort. Yeah he had a girl friend but flights were flights. He couldn’t be held responsible if Mavenath caught. And if he didn’t? Well it was entirely possible to rope Jazz into the after flight activities if she was there. Win win. He couldn’t go wrong. Either way he might get laid and by a hot chick too.
So when his bronze lifted his head and swiveled it towards the sky and the leaving green the red head merely brushed Raven off his shoulder and made his way towards his bronze. “For someone who wants to chase you sure as hell don’t look like you’re in a hurry.” The large male rumbled in amusement. She can wait for my presence if she desires it. Apparently she feels she deserves to be serenaded or have poetry recited for her favor. Silly female she is. Cr’oph shrugged and mounted his bronze. “Hey some females like that shit.” I don’t much care what she likes. Was the simple sentence before the second largest of Burimyu’s bronzes sprung into the air and transferred between.
As the pair remerged into the desert the rider took a quick look around and quickly spotted Dhavalth. Ah so pixie’s blue had decided to chase after all. As the large bronze back winged to a landing Cr’oph dismounted and shook his hair out of his face. Only then did he approach the two other females in the desert. Hell if he played his cards right and no one else showed up…. Two for the price of one? There were so many perks of being able to stay in near complete control when one’s dragon rose. The bronzer finally paused next to Jazz and ruffled her hair. “Fancy seeing you out here Pixie.” Only then did he give a polite nod to Tenlie, Rajnith’s certainly better half. “So Mavenath says that she wants poetry?” Raising an eyebrow Cr’oph turned towards the waiting dragons.
Mavenath mantled his large wings and fixed amused whirling eyes on Rajnith as the blue beside him recited like a good little slave. But the bronze was not going to humor this female. Oh no. He was here to chase and catch. Not play her little games. He was nobody’s fool. Nor was he all that worried about this green. The desert gave him advantages that it didn’t give her and she had nowhere to run. So he merely crooned to her, the noise mockingly caressing. Fly love. Fly. Make it worth his effort.
Cr’oph frowned in Mavenath’s direction and then shrugged. “Apparently he’s not in a poetic mood so you’ll just gave to make due with what crap I can come up with.” He said with an amused grin. “Hmm lets see. How about this?” With a short bow for Tenlie he straightened and recited.
“Let's sin. On a feline skin. Or, if you prefer We could err On a different fur”
After the poem he gave a wink. “Yeah I so should have been a harper.”

Two. Only two. Rajnith bellowed her frusturation to the heavens, not caring who heard. Where was Frosstyth? Jagjith? Viveth, even? True, there was a limited number of males at Burimyu, and without the ability to sun it was hard to meet new dragons, but still. There were males she had expected, who had not arrived. Perhaps they were simply late, stymied by the poetry. Unworthy, then.
Well, she did have two, and they would do for starting out with. Crouched like a sphinx, she waited for their recitations - Dhavalth's sonnet was precisely as lovely as she expected, and she rumbled appreciatively when he had finished. Then Mavenath; why he was chasing again was a mystery to her, but Rajnith was intrigued, and not quite ready to send him away. She blinked at him once - it was his turn, was it not? - before some human droning registered. Turning her head towards the gathered humans, she raised an eyeridge at Cr'oph, listening. Amusing, certainly, that the Bronze had asked his SlaveLove to recite and His had complied. Amusing, but not nearly so impressive as Dhavalth's offering had been. With a snort for the human's claim that he should have been a crafter (such foolishness, clearly he was a dragonrider), she settled closer to the ground, one eye on Mavenath...
And, without warning, exploded into the sky. Her first downstroke threw up enough dust and sand that Mavenath and Dhavalth would have to be careful taking off or risk running in to each other, and the humans would need to cover their noses and mouths or have a coughing fit. From there, she went nearly straight up, making excellent use of thermals and reaching an impressive height before she canted sideways into a crosswind, letting it sweep her away from her chasers. Executing a lazy spiral - lazy because she wanted to look unconcerned as well as being not the most agile of dragons - she glanced back to look at her chasers. Your poem was lovely, Dhavalth,[/i] she purred, purposefully including Mavenath too. A sonnet, wasn't it? And Mavenath, so clever of you to have Yours recite for you. He is the more creative of the two, no? Pity it wasn't longer. In traditional Rajnith style, her words to Mavenath had the saccharine sweetness of a lie, although he'd never be able to accuse her of anything but unfailing politeness. To Dhavalth she was already unfailingly polite, but he was already hers, of course. He deserved respect.
Below, Tenlie attempted to hold out against the tide that was Rajnith for all of ten seconds, quickly giving up more out of general sadness than any desire to be swept up in the flight. Neither male was Kierjaarth, and every look at them reminded her, something that wasn't fair to them. So she let go, at least enough to forget that Tenlie would rather have someone else. While she was Rajnith, Dhavalth and Mavenath were more than enough.
She flicked a seedpod at Mavenath when he finished, aiming it at his male parts. Lucky for him, he was somewhat too far away and Ten's aim wasn't great, so it hit him somewhere above a kneecap instead. "So," she asked him, leaning back on the furs with a grace and sexuality that was distinctly not Tenlie. "You think your 'crap' is good enough to make you a harper, not to mention good enough for me? Interesting." Her tone had that same sugary edge her Green's had. Switching her gaze to Dhavalth instead, she crooked a finger at her, then patted the fur next to her. "You think better of me, don't you, love?" she asked the Blue, leaning forward to tuck a lock of Jazz's long hair behind her ear. Then, snapping her eyes back to Cr'oph, she commanded, "Strip." It was clear who that was meant for.

Snobby and a loud mouth. Well to each their own he supposed maybe she had some charm in there somewhere. Right now she was acting very childish and dramatic. But then some greens seemed to be that way. Mavenath stretched out first one wing and then the other. Wouldn’t do to cramp up at the beginning of the flight. Eyes whirling with the purple traces of lust coupled with amusement watched Rajnith as she crouched there in the sand. As he waited he listening to his bonded make up some half ass and silly poem. Even more amusing was that the bronze hadn’t even asked his bonded to recite for him. The silly man took it upon himself. As if Mavenath needed help to catch a green. His tail lashed across the sand sending it cascading down like rain as finally the large green sprung skyward.
He waited patiently until Dhavalth had cleared the area before he launched himself heavenward as well. The bronze was unconcerned in keeping up with her. The desert thermals would last awhile, yet as the sun was just setting, and his wings were plenty large enough to take full advantage. Rajnith’s words were of little concern to him. He merely shot after her with single minded intensity before slipping into a thermal and letting it shoot him to an altitude above the green. There he rolled from the warm wind and caught a tailwind allowing it to propel him along above her. Mavenath's head canted as he tried to decide how best to try for a catch. Creative? Hardly. Was his amused and only response before he angled his wings and waited for the first opening.
Cr’oph for his part was completely at ease. Calm. Collected. Unconcerned. It was likely that both of the females would soon be caught in the thrall of flight lust. Which would leave him alone in his pretty much lucid state. Of course there was always the slight twinges of lust but nothing the bronzer hadn’t practiced, now turns, in controlling. Damn if he was going to be caught without his head again. A glance was given Jazz beside him. This really could turn out awesome for him. Then the rider felt something bounce off his knee and he turned to regard Tenlie.
One eyebrow slowly rose up almost into his hairline as she spoke. Her question didn’t really need an answer. It seemed that Tenlie had mastered channeling the bitch that was Rajnith. Joy of all joys. The bronzer didn’t speak a word until she commanded him to strip. Then Cr'oph laughed out loud. “You wish princess. I’m no slave to follow your every command. Nor are you some queen. You want stripping find some other clown to do it for you. I’m not interested.” So saying he fixed her with an amused look and grinned. “Or you know, you could cut the crap and stop acting like your shit doesn’t stink. Then maybe I‘d be a little nicer.”

Frosstyth's head snapped up as Rajinath's call went out. He hesitated a moment, for two reasons. One, was she wanted poetry. Ach! He didn't know any poetry! The Brown had a small moment where he flailed mentally, trying to figure out if he could come up with anything ... but no. There was nothing. His didn't know any poetry either. But ... on that thought ...
His might not want to go back to the desert. Frosstyth did some fast thinking, and then hopped over to where C'oar was tinkering with something wooden. Mine! I want to go somewhere. He prompted, urgently.
C'oar glanced at him. "Okay. So go."
Frosstyth rumbled at him in frustration. He was going to miss her entirely at this rate! Come with me? He prompted, impatiently.
C'oar set his work down and looked up at the brown for a moment, before nodding. "Alright. Let me go get the straps..."
No need. We won't go far. Frosstyth insisted.
"In a hurry, aren't we?" He clambered up the brown's stormy shoulder, rather curious now what Frosstyth was going on about. For this was something new, he'd never done this before. "Okay, where are we going in such a hurry?" C'oar asked as he settled in.
Frosstyth waited until he was in the air to answer: We're going to follow Rajinath, today.
"Oh? And where is she going?" C'oar asked, now quite curious what Tenlie was up to that it had garnered his dragon's attention. For, truth be told, he hadn't been paying that much attention today.
To the desert. He answered, before flicking between.
As soon as they appeared again, C'oar grumped. "You know, if you wanted to come, all you had to do was say so. You didn't have to try to trick me ... or whatever it is you're up to."
You be too slow. Frosstyth answered, watching sadly as Rajinath left with her small entourage. Hurriedly he almost crash landed, waiting quite impatiently for His to unload before taking off in a spray of sand to go tearing off after her.
C'oar tried to guard against the sprayed sand, to little good effect. "Whatever." He answered, more to himself than anything else as Frosstyth's hidden desire was suddenly not hidden anymore. Instead a raging inferno. Taking a look around to see where exactly he was, he spotted the small gathering of other Riders. "Fashionably late, as always." He remarked, more to himself than anything else as he started the short trek over to them.
"Good evening." C'oar greeted simply, as he joined them. "Tenlie."
My, but she seemed prettier than usual today.
Poetry. Poetry. Frosstyth wracked his mind as he hurtled through the air on sheer power. This was a greenflight, he had power and stamina to spare. His short comings were in that he didn't have a whole terrible lot of agility. But right now he just needed to catch up. Catching up he could do, especially since they seemed to be taking it easy for now. Traveling, but not at break neck speeds. More with the currents than anything else. Frosstyth cut the currents with quick, efficient and powerful strokes that powered him up after the rest. If he happened across an updraft, he used it. But neither did he rely solely upon it, determined to rise faster still.
Poetry, she wanted. He had to come up with something. Fast. He was gaining on her, but he needed to have some pretty words for her when he got there, caught up to her. Something nice, something shiny. But ... it was hard to think of nice words when all he could think about was her oh so lovely form.
Shiny, shinier, shiniest. Rajilove is by far the best. Why ever would I want to rest? High, higher, highest. Fly, lovely lady, for you none should be tardy. Challenge the stars, challenge the sun. They will quail before you are done. [/i]
It wasn't much, it wasn't very good at all in his opinion. But it was the best he could come up with ... and offered partly also as an apology for his rather late arrival to her grand event. Maybe she would forgive him?!

It was a decidedly poor showing for Rajnith. His clutchsister deserved more than two suitors and Dhavalth rather liked the idea of pitting himself against many others in an attempt to earn her favor. The blue launched himself into the air shortly after Rajnith. He wasn't precisely careful about Mavenath's position as he left the ground in Rajnith's flurry of dust. He both trusted his bronze 'brother' and trusted his own skills in avoidance should he nearly run into the larger male. To a good flight, to prove our might, Dhavalth offered Mavenath privately. There would be no hard feelings from the blue regardless of the outcome.
The blue rather thought the desert was a good place for him. He was not so strong as Mavenath but with over-large wings he had more endurance than one might expect of him. Dhavalth easily slipped into a thermal, spiraling up in wide circles. Not rushed; controlled and graceful in an almost serpantine way. Indeed it was, and without any pause! Okay, so he was gloating a little in his answer but...wasn't that what a flight was? Showing oneself off? Not his fault he had a less than conventional skill to impress with.
Jazheera wasn't quite gone when Cr'oph walked up to her and ruffled her hair. At the same time, she wasn't entirely all there either. She left her hair ruffled as she shot him a quirky grin. "A fair day, wouldn't you say?" She blinked at her own rhyme, done unconciously under the growing influence of Dhavalth before shaking her head in amusement. Oh dear. Her amusement at her own unintentional rhyming was trumped by her amusement at Cr'oph's little poem. She was dating a dork, lovely.
After that, Jazz was pretty much lost to Dhavalth as he took to the skies after the green. Without so much as a glance at Cr'oph, the bluerider moved to sit gracefully - a marked difference from her usual graceless flops - next to Tenlie. "I'd have to be juvenile, not to think you beautiful," was Jazz's answer to Tenlie's question. If Tenlie's request was surprising, it was nothing compared to Cr'oph's laugh. That...was not the way to treat a lady, especially one such as Tenlie. Jazz merely rose a brow curiously before her gaze flicked over to C'oar. Oh, late brown. That ought to make things a little more interesting!

So that makes you what?[/i] Rajnith asked Mavenath (and the other males), in that ever-so-sweet sunshine and rainbows tone. As creative as a weyrledge? Interesting.[/i] He seemed to be proving her right, too, keeping above and behind in the place that gave him the most chance of following her wherever she went. As much as she would have liked to launch into some sort of crazy looping pattern or double back on herself to see just how creative she was, Rajnith was not the sort of dragon to stoop to Mavenath's level, to let him direct the flight. No, she planned to do it her way.
She was briefly distracted, however, by Frosstyth. Tucking her wings, she dropped like the ball of green dragonflesh she was, pulling out of her dive to swoop under the brown, snapping at one of his feet as she passed. She wasn't quite near enough to do damage, but the viciousness was clear enough. Next time you're late,[/i] she hissed, I won't miss. Let that be the end of it. Your poem?[/i] And he recited it, and it pleased her. So she really did let it go, curving back nearly in catching distance to brush her tail past his neck. Forgiven,[/i] she offered, then tucked her wings again, flaring them one at a time a moment later to spin herself out and up in a totally unexpected direction. Dhavalth, assuming he was chasing her with the rest, would have no trouble imitating her movement, but Frosstyth and especially Mavenath would have a harder time. Yes, the air currents and evening thermals worked in the bronze's favor at this time of day, but not when Rajnith totally bypassed them, relying instead on her smaller wings and form and the element of surprise. He'd have to be creative after all.
Climing again, Rajnith gave Dhavalth a little mental poke of humor; if anyone appreciated the kind of gloating that came with a job well done it was Rajnith. Arrogance for arrogance's sake was something different, but no one would call her blue brother arrogant. Just enjoying his success. Following the mental poke was Rajnith herself, sliding alongside the blue - she was absolutely in range for Dhavalth to grab her out of the air, near twining with the blue as they both streaked up again. But she trusted Dhavalth, and more importantly, she knew he was too much of a gentleman to take her unless she offered herself explicitly. Of course... flying so close was fairly explicit.
"You contradict yourself," Rajnith said to said to Mavenath, her head cocked curiously. "Calling me princess, then telling me I am not a queen. Either way, I am second in line for Ista, and used to being obeyed." Odd, that she mentioned that here; few people knew how close Ten had come to being a Lady Holder instead of a Rider. "You don't have to be here, you know," she added after a slight pause, "I do not have such a choice. If you are not interested, why are you here? Go, if you wish. If you will not entertain me, I have no need of you." She shrugged, flapping one hand at the empty desert as the other slid on to Dhavalth's thigh. Oh yes, Rajnith was aware of the connection between Dhavalth and Mavenath, and she planned to exploit if she could. With a gesture, she invited Frosstyth over to sit on the furs at her other side, kissing his cheek when he was in range. Then, carefully not looking at Mavenath in a way that was sure to draw his attention, she leaned over towards Dhavalth, sliding a hand into her long hair, gently urging her close for a delicate kiss. Some bit of left-over Tenlie was dramatically weirded out by that, but that was a tiny bit. The rest of her enjoyed it, and went back for more, hungry now.
((Yes, Ember, that is a force-catch opportunity... unless someone else gets in the way first ^^))

Frosstyth was thrilled to see the object of his desire coming back toward him. Even if she was coming in rather fast and with bared teeth. Okay, some girls were a bit nippy. And he was late. He probably deserved whatever retribution she felt like handing out. But it wasn't his fault! His did it. Frosstyth wasn't going to dwell on that, though, instead more pleased that she was paying him attention at all. That meant there was a hope for his hide yet, in that she wasn't entirely brushing him off. Instinctively, he tucked his feet against himself as she snapped past, clacking her teeth as if to bite his foot off.
But she didn't go tearing off, either, instead waiting for his poem for her. Frosstyth was so very happy it was well received! Even better, she liked it and forgave him! Enough to say so. He felt like glowing all over, himself. Never mind that was her job. He crooned to her softly, winging after her as she twirled away.
No, he couldn't fly like that, in such tight knots. He wasn't going to make a fool of himself or possibly hurt himself by trying, either. But! She was also not using the thermals. And that played very nicely into his hand. Sheer power he had, and he already knew he didn't need the rising and shifting wind to get where he wanted to go. No lazy dragon, he wasn't. Speeding up and filling his sails, he followed after her loyally with all his massive strength and stamina coming into play. Not quite as fast as she was, he was able to smooth some of the turns out, making up for lost time in that fashion.
But! But!!! What was this? Was she choosing already? That wasn't fair! He wanted to fly over there and grab that blue by his tail and yank him away from pretty Rajinath. The blue hadn't even done anything interesting yet to warrant such favor! But ... that would only make her mad, wouldn't it? Not to mention the blue, too. Frosstyth was not a dragon for making enemies ... especially not of the dragon he was especially trying to woo right now. Manhandling the other dragons wasn't going to earn him any points or sway her from what she was doing. He had to think fast. Even if he was capable of grabbing the blue and dragging him around, he wouldn't. Even if his talons flexed with a desire to do just that.
Pretty lovely Rajinath Deserves the best of best always good with math Put everyone to the test!
Rajilove, short is no honor Fly lovely lady love Leave no room to ponder Show your hidden treasure trove.
He implored, trying very very hard to put his complaint to poem for her (since that was what she wanted. Begging her to be fair, at the very least. Because this was most assuredly not fair! Maybe words would sway her where physical violence surely would not. Trying to also encourage the blue to also be fair (not that any male in his right mind would chance losing such a victory), Frosstyth had also included Dhavalth in his protest.
Bugling, Frosstyth whirled around as he followed them up, confused to what he should do. He knew what he wanted to do. But that would not net him his desired outcome!
On the ground, C'oar hardly noticed what was going on over head. But he could definitely see what was going on down here. Tenlie was very very taken with the girl sitting next to her. As if she was ready to get started right away, before the flight was even over. Funny, he hadn't known she swung that way. Not that he'd known her terribly all that well to begin with ... and this was a flight. No telling. But that was like a person watching a puppet show, with no control over the outcome. For while his logical mind could watch, it surely had no control over what he did. That belonged to Frosstyth.
As she bid, he stepped over and folded into a seat next to her, in the indicated place. This was nice. Off the hot sand, in good company. With two lovely young women, even if they were ... uh ... more interested in each other than anything else. He was both surprised and pleased when sitting where she indicated earned him a kiss on his cheek. It was reflected in the big grin that split his expression. But he knew better than to reciprocate ... this was a flight. Even if the moment was short lived and she went back to the other one.
Somehow, that just struck him as wrong. Even if this was a flight. There was just something wrong with that picture. But like Frosstyth, he wasn't going to interrupt. Other than a not so subtle clearing of his throat. Partly out of awkwardness, and partly out of ... well ... this was weird.

Dhavalth watched with amused concern at the treatment of the other males. Not to toot his own horn, so to speak, but he did seem to be receiving a bit of special treatment from the lovely green. Well, in Frosstyth's case it was understandable since he was late and that was awfully rude. He couldn't really wrap his mind around her attitude towards Mavenath, though. Perhaps the two had an ill interaction in the past? The blue decided to simply shrug it off as the green began the flight in earnest.
The blue appreciated the fact that she was flying by her own power. Quite admirable, considering her endurance would be less than all of theirs and the thermals would do her well. Dhavalth neatly folded his large wings - something he'd had to painstakingly practice to get right, as simple as it seemed to others - and slipped out of the thermal he'd been rising in to follow after the green. Imitation was the highest form of flattery, after all.
The green's amusement pleased Dhavalth and he crooned gently as she slipped in next to him. The croon turned to a slightly strangled, surprised thing and he wondered at her actions. He was indeed hesitant to do anything about her proximity. Gentleman though he was, she seemed to be offering herself to him though she had yet to say anything. Combined with the favour she showed him and her current seeming offer was it so surprising he'd come to the conclusion that he was allowed to take her?
Dhavalth was about to move away from her and wait for a proper declaration from the green when Frosstyth spoke up. So it seemed the blue had come to the right conclusion abotu Rajnith's intentions of coming so close if others were interpreting it that way too. The blue privately balked at the brown's words though. What right did the late comer have to try and convince Rajnith of anything? If this was her choice he should just accept it with good grace, just as he himself would had she chosen the brown. As Dhavalth reached out and gently reeled Rajnith into him he again spouted poetry.
For those that love and those that are loyal, in Flight do not only think of how she is so royal.
Dhavalth did not consider Rajnith his true love. She was a green that did not need rescuing. She was, however, extremely important to the blue. While his love was indeed much closer to the human version of a sister he cared and would shower her in praise and affection even outside of her flights. When she had chosen Kierjaarth he still treated her as he always had.
Jazheera wasn't entirely sure what prompted Tenlie to touch her so but no one would find the small woman complaining. Perhaps later, once Dhavalth's influence had gone, she would remember to be a little bothered by it considering she was responding to another right in front of Cr'oph. She didn't mind flights and their aftermath but she had never thought of having a partner involved in the same flights as she. She was a little disappointed as Tenlie leaned over to give C'oar a kiss on the cheek, though that sentiment didn't last long. When Tenlie returned to her and coaxed her into a proper kiss, Jazz responded in kind. Such an invitation would be improper to pass up.
