Deceased: Died in Selenitas Earthquake Plot
Humans:
Name: Kayla/Fealyn
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Hetero
Rank: Greenwherling/Apprentice Harper
Physical Appearance: To match her personality, Kayla has the face of an angel, sweet, delicate features that seem to have been brushed with an air of childish innocence. A dusting of freckles across nose and cheeks seem to be the only imperfection on fair skin. That, however is not true. Though she can't remember how she got it, Kayla has a scar running from hip to knee, one that still pains her. Sometimes, there is a slight limp there, more often then not though, it's a grimace of pain and a clutch at the leg. Her hands a delicately boned, with long slender fingers. Her nails are almost always clean, save for those times when they have blood or other things underneath. It's not that she's a girly girl, it's more she doesn't like having people pick on her. And the slightest piece of dirt could mean disaster. She's slim, and slender, her body seems so fragile that it would snap in a slight breeze. It's hardly true, but then, it depends on who you're dealing with. At 5'4" she has a tendancey to be over-looked, a problem that annoys Fealyn more than it does her. Her hair, long and silky, it seems to have a life of it's own. The ash blonde locks curl in waves about her face, accenting the innocence there. Ash blonde, many would think a greyish blonde, not true. The colour, is much like the chestnut on a runner's hide, not quite dark enough to be light brown, yet, not yellowy enough to be blonde. A slender neck and a fairly curvy figure, Kayla seems to be a dream come true. She isn't. Bright crystal blue eyes stare out from underneath thick lashes, shinging with hope, kindness, innocence, and a despair she would never explain.
Faelyn's features are hard, losing the innocence of Kayla's sweet full lipped smile. Instead, she tends to glare, or frown. Those lovely lip turned into a snarl. She may have the same body and everything as Kayla, but she uses it for different purposes. However, Faelyn would never put Kayla in danger. Blue eyes are no longer soft, but icy cold and shooting daggers. Voice isn't soft, sweet, vunrable, but harsh. Sharp like a whip. Her voice has authority, yet it lacks kindness.

Personality: Kayla, matching her sweet appearance, is a darling. An honest young girl, with nothing dishonest ever brushing black wings on her mind. She's sweet and innocent, taking absolutely everything to heart. She listens, she cares, she's the oppisite of Fealyn.
Kind and loyal she's a steadfast friend, if a little emotional. In all honesty, Kayla can not take an insult, she withdraws instantly. In her place, a rather nasty person can come out. Kayla is adoring of everyone and everything. One problem, she's painfully shy. For some reason, Kayla has never been able to come out of her shell.
Fealyn, unlike Kayla, has not a bit of innocence about her. Save for bodily innocence. She's harsh and manipulative, and will do almost anything to get her way. She's an opportunist, taking what ever she can, and giving as little as possible back.
Unlike Kayla, she's not shy, she doesn't hedge around things. In fact, she's most brutally honest. Nothing escapes her notice, and she can be the rather imposing figure despite her small stature. Another thing, where Kayla will keep quiet and inwardly fume, Fealyn is rather loud and bad tempered.
History:Well, you're probably expecting the whole mushy, 'got thrown out of home' or 'parents abused her'. Either that or you're looking to read, 'she grew up in a happy home' or 'she was searched and she was so happy'. Sorry. Neither of them belong to Kayla and Fealyn. Nor, do I think, their story will end with 'happily ever after'.
Born in Southern Hold, it seemed at first, everyone would be happy. It was a good marriage, arranged, yes. However, mother and father soon came to love each other. We're not mentioning the ten turns of arguing and burning hatred here. Soon, hope began for a child. While Lukan wanted a boy, a strong son to carry the bloodline. Sierana wanted a girl, a daughter to love. In some twisted way, they got what they wanted. At first, hope was slim, for no apparant reason, Sierana couldn't concieve or carry a child to term. Then. They believe Faranth was smiling on them that day when Sierana managed to carry her child past the danger mark. Onward to full-term. Sierana got her wish, a beautiful little girl.
Calling her Kayla, since they liked the name, for three turns. It all seemed very normal. Though, the trade was going down, and they were finding it harder, and harder to come by the money they needed to support the family. And Kayla. It was a rainy day, and Kayla had been playing with the girls, as she always did. When one of the hold boys decided it would be funny to pick on her. Pulling her hair and teasing her, being in a pretty happy home, Kayla recoiled. Just as her mother came to stop it, a change came over Kayla. Standing up she shoved the boy away, yelling at him nasilty. Spitting venomous words at him as he had done to her.
When asked to come inside, kayla stonily informed her mother that her name was Fealyn and that Kayla was sleeping. it was then her parents went to desperate lengths to keep Kayla the dominent child. For a while, it worked. Kayla would say that Fealyn didn't much like the world, yet the times she did come out, it seemed that Kayla remembered nothing of what she'd done. Hidden away most of the time, Kayla turned her pursuits to music, for while Faelyn was wonderful at writing music, Kayla's softer, kinder tone was better for singing it.
It was lucky the day they were Searched, the dragon looking for candidates for a dragon clutch, instead pointing out to his rider that a wher would be perfect for this girl. Yet, one never knew, she might Impress, they should take her along any way.
Tangled Jungle Blue Salamandyr
Color Code: 4A777A
Description: A dull gray-blue color, a wide streak of a darker steel runs in a blaze from the tip of his nose, spanning both nostrils and running just above his eyes, down between his little wings and eventually coloring his entire tail with dark steel-gray. The tops of his wings, too, are this lovely color, faintly darker at all extremeties. Little swirls of an even darker color edge the blaze, almost as if it were painted on by some careful hand.
Personality: Cautious and careful, and never one to be suddenly active, this blue will never be rash or foolhardy. He picks his fights carefully, and is much more likely to be sneaky than full-out attack when irate. While some may go so far as to call him lazy, in actuality the silly little creature could even be called calculating, though his memory only extends to the last meal. Offenses and loves are forgotten within a day, and there is no need to ever apologize—though he will forgive immediately, no matter what you do.
With a strange attraction to all things shiny, this blue can be something of a thief, and fully expect to find small sparkly rocks scattered everywhere, along with the occasional bit of purloined jewelry or shiny cloth tucked into a crack, so that it will always be there. And don’t even think about wearing your own jewelry—he’ll just end up gnawing on it! But for all that, he can be very friendly, and loves to sit in sleeves or “hammock” in the neck of a shirt, so that he can see what’s going on, but with the recourse of hiding just incase anything is too nerve-wracking
Dragons/Whers/Fire Lizards:
Name: Kask/Fesk
Color: Green
Age: Hatchling
Candycane Green
Appearance: Kask is a very deep shade of green, to a point where one might confuse her for being black at first glance. However, believe it or not, when in the pitch-black, she seems to have a green shine. This shine is haunting, enough so that it might frighten people she sees in caves. Yet when looked by someone who can appreciate this beauty, she can be absolutely radiant. So, whether she is a ghost or a goddess, she is definitely one with the appearance of power.
She is also quite small. The smallest hatchling from her clutch, Kask’s bulkiness is more muscle than flab. She is very strong despite her size, and would be perfect for helping miners or construction crafters. She could carry on for as long as a brown wher perhaps, and this is something she prides herself in. She also enjoys carrying people on her back, making sure to always stay in shape. Oddly enough, she also swims—with people one her back. When bored, Kask will ferry people back and forth in the night, that is, unless Fesk decides to come out to play.
Personality: Kask is a rather interesting wher. Whether she was born this way or not is up to one’s own opinion, but the fact remains that there is something not right with Kask. Normally, Kask is good-natured, always sweet and cuddly. She never does anything wrong toward any other creature, nor does she have the desire to. Shy and meek, Kask never lets her presence be known by anyone unless they ask for her. However, if danger is apparent, Kask wastes no time leaping into the situation. All in all, Kask seems like the perfect little wher, free of any problems. But then you meet Fesk, and that opinion changes.
Fesk is everything that Kask is not. Bold, loud, and grumpy, Fesk comes out the moment Fealyn does. Fesk is more independent than Kask is, oftentimes marching around the Weyr away from Fealyn. Fesk is not one to appreciate authority, and is known to challenge even queen whers. Though, of course, she will fail in the end, it doesn’t stop her from trying. But to those ‘average’ people who bother her, beware. Fesk can sometimes be provoked to attack or bite people, not hesitating to use her claws to attack. Although, she has a fondness for very small weyrbrats, usually under the age of six turns. However, she spares no mercy for anyone older. Let’s just hope they make contact with Kask instead of Fesk.
