Deceased: Died in Selenitas Earthquake Plot
Humans:
Name: Sirian
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: He's really not sure yet, but he's more about personality then about body figure.
Rank: Healer Apprentice/Candidate (Dragon)
Physical Appearance:
Sirian is actually small for his age, standing just under 5 feet, he is expected to shoot up drastically when he gets older. His frame is rather petite in it's build, kind of girlish almost. He doesn't really mind much - but others seem to mind. He actually likes dressing in both genders clothing - and finds it interesting the differencesi n clothing build.
He has curly brown/black hair, that is cropped just an inch away from his head. Giving him a bit of a fuzz look going to the top of his head. His sister keeps telling him to shave his head, but he doesn't want to. He likes having his fuzz to play with. Sure with a combing and a little oiling it looks good - he barely takes time to do such. He much rather likes having dull lookign fuzz - becauase it's less effort on his part.
His facei s very strong in it's definition - definitely something stuck androgynous. But in reality he does have masucline hints. If one pays attention to the shape of his jaw, and the way his nose looks - the fact that his lips are thin - they will see he is indeed male. His eyes are a rather dark brown color - most often mistake them for black. They hold a sharp intelligence to them that shows he's much smarter then he puts himself off to be.
Personality:
Sirian is still a kid at heart, but an odd kid at that. He tends to do anything that will get him in trouble. Especially if it means he gets punished. He doesn't quite understand himself and his mother told him that it happens sometimes with people - but he likes to be hurt. He likes getting hurt and then having his sister fix up the hurts. He enjoys sitting there as she drags the cleaning solution across his scrapes - or resets a dislocated finger.
The more dangerous the task - the more he wants to do it. Nothing boring for this young man! He'll jump a distance no one else has - more then likely getting hurt in the process. Or he'll try and do somethign stupid like - juggle pottery, and letting it break at his feet. He loves injuries, and loves getting them treated. The more of a daredevil he can be - the more he loves it.
He loves watching others - he's a people watcher. He likes watching how they move and what they do. But he loves talking to people more then anything - he is rarely shy. With that in mind it's easy to see why everyone would call him the little birdy of the Hall. He's constantly got something to talk about - wether imagined or real.
He loves making up missions for himself to do! He loves exploring and being daring - and his courage never seems to run out. He has only had one moment in his life when he wasn't being blatantly courageous. It's when someone dared him to go bug the WatchWher - he was NOT an idiot. He may play at being a goof and a dare-devil - but Sirian is actually VERY smart. He knows when enough is enough.
History:
Born in Healer Hall - Sirian has gone through a lot. He was raised by his sister Alijah, who is eight turns his senior. The young woman was the constant pillar in his young life. Growing up was hard, but he pushed himself as hard as he could. Finding he was running behind his sisters skirts a lot. But he didn't mind that.
He was a daredevil as a child, doing whatever stunt he could to draw attention. His father Sirijah and his mother Aliian had other things to deal with. Besides for him and his sister, who could apparently take care of themselves. His mother was always busy with work - she was a Laundress, and his father was as well - he was a Healer. Life wasn't hard, and it wasn't bad.
The only time he didn't like life was when Alijah made the choice to be a Healer apprentice. He was six turns old then. Barely understanding why his 'mommy' was going away. He knew that she was his sister, but she was more of a mother to him then Aliian had ever been. He knew that Alijah had held off training for awhile, but their father had seen promise in her. Finally having convinced the girl to go through Apprenticeship.
Sirian went out of his way to be around his sister. Doing whatever it took to be around her. Even if it meant getting punished. Which it did! But whenever he was punished - he ran to his sister and let her patch up his injuries. It was something he came to love - very much so. When he was ten he started pushing his father to allow him to start training. Sirijah wasn't exactly sure - but he started teacihng his son a few things here and there.
Proud to see that neither child would be following their mother in her choice profession. Sirian realized that his father was finally approving of him. Tragedies struck, and Sirian ignored the world - he had his family that was all that mattered. He went through the plague - the Hall overtaken by needs to fix the problem. But the male never got sick, and just did his best to do his work.
He heard about the sieze at Selenitas Weyr. He talked to his sister about the Weyr, shortly after he made his status as an Apprentice. Alijah seemed to take interest, Sirian wanted to be on Dragonback, she was going to see what she could do about it. Now they'd just have to wait and hope for a searchrider. Which was granted when one showed up. Both of them going to the Weyr.
