Eikane laughed at the firelizard's offer to help as well. He hadn't been expecting to get a response from the blue. On top of what Nautic said, the goldhandler added, "Thanks for the offer Tizzy." If he ever needed the help of a firelizard that thought he was a mandyr he'd be sure to ask after the blue. he watched Tizzy for a moment before nautic inevitably snagged his attention again when he spoke up.
What the greenhandler said about the book was likely true. There wasn't much interest in whers because they were both less appealing than dragons and out of sight to day folk. Really, only those interested in whers would look. He knew from his brief stint as a 'candidate' that they did some chores in the archives. He smiled at Nautic and said, "That's fine. Maybe some bored candidates doing archive duty will come across it an it'll pique their interest in our fine beasts." Sure they were 'uglies' but there were loveable ones. He supposed it was something of an acquired taste.
"Hmm, I certainly wouldn't want to accept marks for my services," Eikane said consideringly. He simply didn't take comissions. He much preferred to draw whatever he felt like. Not to mention he rarely showed his drawings to others so offering one of them at a price...it just simply wasn't something he would do. So he was stuck wondering what else might make it a fair trade. "How about one meal per sketch you decide to use?" Cooking and drawing were both ways of creating something. It made sense to Eikane anyways. "How ever will I survive being stuck with you?" He asked with good natured sarcasm.
