Her eyes might have glittered just a bit as she waited for her wish to be granted. Not that she really thought she was going to be denied. She wasn't cocky by any means, she just didn't consider it to be a hard request to fulfill. Either way, the glint of light in her eyes were only brief, as she was caught by the edge of the brownrider's finger and tilted her head to follow. There was the gentlest of sighs, perhaps a small expression of relief as he spoke the obliging words, followed by the strong desire to chuckle just a bit in giddy excitement. It was an emotion that was forceflly cut off. Instead the woman's face softened, and lashes lowered to a dreamy state before closing completely to allow herself to move by feelings alone.
Meeting her lips with his, her brain when blank for a moment, instead letting concentrate instead on the senses... the electric prickle that sparked at first contact and shot through her every organ and limb, even manifesting in the curl of her fingers as she lightly grasped at his clothes for a second before releasing again. As they pulled away, Raebeli's eyes creaked open, and her lips, every bit as rosy as her cheeks currently were, pulled back into a smile as she searched for some words. Unfortunately, she seemed to be extremely short on those, finding it impossible to speak until she diverted her gaze out to the sunset and back to E'rro. Blinking, she said, "I'm sorry, I.... forgot what were we talking about before?"
Whatever it was clearly wasn't that important. The mindhealer took it upon herself to collapse again in relaxation against the brownrider's body. With a contented smile, she nuzzled her head in to fit into some spot between his shoulder and his face, glancing out towards Rukbat as it made its slow descent below the horizon. Perfect. Everything had been going perfect as far as she was concerned, "We will do this again sometime, yes?" Not that subsequent visits would ever compare... that still wasn't a reason to not make the attempt.

"I don't think it matters." Shifting so that Raebeli could get comfortable against him, E'rro let his cheek rest against the top of her head. "And yes... we'll do this again." He was happy, at that moment mainly because the Greenrider had basically affirmed that they would have another date. After a while he closed his eyes, listening as the creatures of the day gave way to the creatures of the night. The quiet calls of insects grew louder as bird calls settled into nesting cheeps, and the noises of the Weyr drifted to a dull murmur. He remained like that for a while, stopping to enjoy the moment, for once having nothing to do and no where important to go. The Weyr wouldn't explode with out him the rest of the council could hold down the fort (though being the domestic liaison he sometimes felt like it would) and the Infirmary could survive in the capable hands he had left it in.
Opening his eyes again, he watched as the dark blue of night crept in on the dull orange of the setting sun, shrinking the area which the light touched with each passing minute. The glowbasket was shining to his right, offering them refuge from the dark. Before Rukbat was completely gone, the Healer stirred. "I'm going to call Ismaroth to come pick us up. I'd rather not walk back in the dark." But then he settled again, content to wait for his Brown to arrive before having to disturb Raebeli so he could pack away the blanket they were sitting on. Isma? Hmmm? Could you come pick us up from the watch heights? But take your time, the sunset is almost over. Sure.
It took a good nine or ten minutes before his Brown drifted into sight, momentarily blocking the eastern view until he flopped down into a laying position. By then Rukbat itself had fully set, but the sky where it had been was still orange, allowing for a little visibility. "I'm sorry but it looks like our ride is here." Almost apologetically he untangled himself from his date, so he could stand and offer his hand to help her up. A short while later he grabbed the baskets and lashed them to either side of Ismaroth's flight harness. "Will you get the blanket and the glow?" Vaulting happily up into the leathers he swung around to make sure all the straps were secure (he had bribed Isma to stay in his leathers for a few hours longer after Wing practice), and that the baskets wouldn't fall off. When everything was given the green light, he turned to help Raebeli with her items and then up onto Isma. "Ready?" Who, by the way, crooned in a greeting.
(You can have Isma take off when rae gets all settled if you would like. n___n)

Happy in the confirmation that they would indeed be enjoying each others company again sometime, the greenrider took great pleasure in lidding her eyes gently and pinning up the edges of her lips up to reveal some tiny dimples. Finally she closed her eyes fully, having digested far too much of the sunset than can be good for any one person and listened into the surroundings lull her into a sense of security. Raebeli was sure that there she was safe, she was with E'rro of course, but Quixoth also gently padding the back of her mind like a soft fluffy pillow. Likely the green was going to be the first one the girl was going to run to and spill every last excruciating detail to when the night was over. Not that the dragon would or could possibly mind this.
In all of her absent thoughts, the mindhealer very much thought that she could just about fall asleep, and she pretty much did, with her breath growing shallow and her every muscle loosening after finally cuddling for maximum warmth. Before she could fall hopelessly into something more restful (and potentially slightly embarrassing had she snored), she felt herself stirred, groggily coming to with a sort of half protest that was spoken only with a subtle groan. She had gotten so comfortable, and she reasoned to herself that they wouldn't have to walk back in the dark if they stayed like that all night.
It would have been a futile argument and she knew it. Relaxing again until the arrival of her date's dragon, she finally urged her stiffened joints to move, and reluctantly got up from her place there on the blanket. After a dazed moment, she helped gathered up the things, and moved to Ismaroth, handing off the supplies to be strapped down while greeting the dragon in return, "Why hello Ismaroth, how kind of you to be our chauffeur," she chuckled under breath at this before taking E'rro's pull up. She needed the hand after all, the brown was much, much, larger than her own tiny little green, and settled in just in time for him to rise to his feet and slip off back towards the weyr. The whole while Raebeli made sure to somehow clutch onto her partner. Sure she couldn't exactly use the typical holder girl's excuse of being new to dragonriding, but the same sort of innocent flirtation was there.

"He says its his pleasure." They took off after Raebeli was settled in. Once Ismaroth was in the air, E'rro let his Brown know where to go before trusting him to get them there. He was constantly aware of Raebeli holding on to him, though he knew she didn't need to, which made it all the better he supposed. Breathing deeply of the cold air, the Wingleader was boyishly happy and could almost not wait to regale M'ta with how well the date had gone. First he supposed he should tell his friend that he had asked her out before letting him know about the date... eh, he'd cross that bridge when he came to it. Though in the end he'd probably end up mashing everything together in a way that was not conducive to the a-typical straight faced E'rro. Even grumpy healers had soft sides.
He was also happy he'd been able to survive the date. If this had happened five turns ago hand touching and even kissing might have been a problem. Turns of practicing human healing and continuous hand to hand combat had practically rid him of his skin to skin problem around his hands and face, his arms were practically numb to it too. So tonight was a triumph in more than one way. Ismaroth gave him a heads up as they came into view of Raebeli's weyrledge. The Brown let Quixoth know he was going to land a few minutes before he did so, alighting so that there was enough room for them all. Good evening Quixoth. Following his pattern of chivalry, he helped Raebeli down first before sliding down himself. He gave the Mindhealer's Green a wave in greeting before catching Raebeli's hand.
"This evening was... I mean I had a great..." E'rro sighed, then smiled. "I enjoyed our time together. I was wondering if you would like to do something with me later? The beginning of the week is only two days away, I can schedule one of our off days to be the same." He could also cancel any Wing training on the day they decided on, his wing could use a break anyways... He'd been making them drill even in the freezing cold mountains. Being in charge did have its advantages sometimes. "If you'd like to that is."

As if Ismaroth's warning wasn't enough, there was Raebeli's sing-song mind voice flooding her bonded's mind with a childlike, We're coming, we're coming! It was a playful enough hello that Quixoth found it easy to sort of slither off to the side of her ledge and allow the incoming brown room to land and then some. Tasks such as these were always much simpler when she knew the state of her bonded's mind, and having confirmed that there were no broken hearts or tears to dry from the night's events, the green was ever welcoming to the party that arrived at the figurative doorstep. Hello Raelove, I expect from your big teeth that you've had a good time and that Ismaroth's treated you quite well? Ah... you will tell me all about it won't you?
Of course... now quiet my little dear, I've got to say good bye to my date you know...
Well certainly... which of course meant she was going to right away carry on and talk right to Ismaroth. He was there wasn't he? Big and brown and perfect for conversation as far as she was concerned. To him she gave him a pleasant glance and whirl of her eye, taking advantage of her night time sight to get a good look at the other dragon. Not that she hadn't before, but the infirmary ledge seemed much too conspicuous a place to outright examine someone, Good evening to you too Ismaroth. You are dropping my dear rider off are you? Will you not stay long then? Of course she fancied drawn out discussions most of all, but chit-chat was where it would stay if they were bound to be leaving again.
Having dismounted from the dragon the greenrider took a few steps out towards the opening to her weyr for space before turning around on her heel and catching her little fingers into the spaces between E'rro's. Shifting her weight impossibly onto tippy toes she listened to the brownrider, nearly cutting him off once or twice as her brain screamed, Yes! Yesssss! Of course! Yessssssssss! Knowing however that she had to play it a little bit cooler than that or risk looking like a loon, she dipped her head to the side teasingly to pretend that this was a very hard decision to make before replying, "I.... would love that. So then, it's a date... yes?"

Crossing his front legs at the ankles as he settled his wings along his back, Ismaroth repressed a yawn. Unfortunately yes, we must be off soon. I'd like to lie and say its because Ermine is being called away, but in all reality, he's about a clawlength away from falling into the next bed he sees. He turned to look at his Human, a gleam of mirth in his eye. He is not used to dating. Blissfully unaware of his Dragon talking about his poorly lacking dating skills, E'rro focused all his attention on Raebeli. Even the few seconds that it took her to respond felt like forever, each moment felt like slow motion but at the same time... it didn't. The world came rushing back to normal when the Greenrider accepted his offer, with an 'I'd love to' no less. Which, needless to say, made the Healer at least twice as encouraged as he had been only moments before. "That's great! Yes!" He paused a little embarrassed at his outburst. "Its a date. If its okay, I'll swing by tomorrow evening with a day and time?" E'rro needed at least that long to get all his schedules in sync since matching everything up often was a whole challenge within itself. "Goodnight then." The Brownrider squeezed her hand a little and let go, stepping away to head back to Ismaroth. At least until a stray piece of advice came floating back to him from the place of forgotten memories. Turning wordlessly back to Raebeli he practically swept her into his arms and after a moment's hesitation kissed her once more. E'rro let go a few seconds later, but not before brushing her hand against his lips. "Sleep well." And with that he fully freed his Date. Jogging over to Ismaroth (who was up and ready) he swung up into the Harness in a well practiced motion, raised his hand in goodbye, and disappeared over the ledge as his Dragon dropped off the edge. A little dramatic? Yes. But eh, learning to roll with the flow was a good thing. ( I hope you don't mind me ending it like that. But now we can start a new one. )
