Kaaoloth’s eyes whirled rapidly, the green color fading slightly to yellow as Feyrianth rapidly paled. Giving a soft croon he lurched to his feet just as Eveyth bespoke him. Hopping over to the sprawled green he dropped his head to nuzzle her in an attempt to reassure. Eveyth my little one. It is not yet time for you to fly. You must wait until you are ready. None of us can fly you until you glow. Silently he passed the message on to his and he could feel a spark of anger under the cold façade the brownrider normally wore. Snorting the large brown curled around the much smaller green offering his proximity as comfort. Yes wine will make yours feel airy. It is okay Eveyth. Everything will be okay. Your’s will be fine, as will you. Mine will see to it. Which was the truth. He could feel his start to stalk through the crowd.
Kaaoloth’s message caused Sel’n to groan and shake his head in slight disbelief. Really? Someone had added alcohol to the drinks. Why wasn’t he surprised. Likely someone from Darya’s out of control class. Speaking of which. She slept with a weyrling? One of her own students? Before it was even technically safe enough to do so? Was the woman completely insane? Now he was going to have to assign a bunch of babysitters to make sure no one died. Seriously. As if his job wasn’t stressful enough. Whoever was responsible was going to pay. It seemed as if most of the drunks where being taken care of, besides one female candidate. Tsk. Where was Emoyan? Wasn’t she his responsibility? Sigh. A brief appreciative nod was given to R’ven. Followed by a request for Kaaoloth to find out who the responsible party was. Because there would be hell to pay.
~~~
Mavenath gave a worried croon as Feyrianth paled more but there wasn’t anything he could do for her. If anything be was probably making it worse. Inwardly he debated what to do when Eveyth whimpered. That settled it. Eveyth was his favorite sister. Moving away from his four winged sister he approached the other green and dipped his head to lick her muzzle. Never mind that Kaaoloth was already there. It is okay Evey. I will fix it all. Mine will let nothing happen to yours I promise. Yours just drank to much is all. He will be fine. He better be anyway. His was the cause of this all. If something happened to anyone Mavenath would be far more displeased than he already was. Which was saying something for the bronze was very displeased. Rumbling low in his throat he swung his head over his sister nuzzling her periodically. To Trilaranth he pressed a surge of approval. His brown brother was very capable. Mine if you let anything happen to Eveyth’s I will be most displeased. I think you owe quite the apology to a few others as well.
Cr’oph wasn’t listening to Mavenath however. He gave Meagen a interested look but it wasn’t she that had his full attention. No it was the younger boy who had suddenly backed up into him. Biting his lip the weyrling turned to regard the rest of the drunks stumbling about. Okay so, in hindsight maybe not the best idea he had ever had. Oh well no fixing it now. What was done was done. He’d just have to take care of X’rx. Babysitting a drunk wasn’t on his things to do list tonight but he couldn’t in good faith ignore his friend. Lightly he elbowed M’kai. “Yeah I spiked the punch. Probably not the best idea.” He murmured as he watched R’ven dump the bowl and then reach out a hand to a bluerider who had stumbled and fell.
Well at least it looked like things wouldn’t get any worse. Idly he nudged his brother and gestured with his head to a less crowded place further away from the scene. If Megs wanted to follow she could. Although why she was away from her new green he wasn’t sure. The hatchling shouldn’t be left on her own. You’d think she would at least realize that much.
As he passed a nearby table Cr’oph grabbed a glass of water and handed it to X’rx. The next moment he had scooped the smaller boy up bridal style and started carrying him away from the pressing crowd to an open area. “Drink that. Might make you feel a bit better. How much did you have? I should have warned you that I added alcohol.” Lightly he touched his bronze’s mind and winced at the anger he got in return. “Mave says he is with Eve. You want to go to her?”
~~~
Erilena swayed dangerously on her feet and merely nodded when Nephele spoke. Things where starting to spin and she was getting dizzy. Oh so dizzy. The greenrider whimpered to no one in particular as a strong wave of nausea hit her, the feeling had her almost retching. Then the next moment she was being turned to face someone. The voice was vaguely familiar and she got as far as “Demi?” Before the nausea hit again and this time she did vomit. All down the harper’s front.
That would have been enough to distress her normally. However she was far too gone to be distressed by anything other than her own violent surges of nausea. The whimper became a sob and she slumped against the taller blue handler. The fact that she was sticking to him, via her own vomit, wasn’t even vaguely noted in her own now near hysterical distress. Dying was she dieing? Where was she? What was going on? Nothing was making sense. Erilena was openly sobbing now in between retches. Her own distress was further compounded by that of her mindmate who was now quite distressed herself. Part of her wished she would die. So that it would all stop.
Feyrianth’s hide had rapidly paled until it was now a sickly grey color. Her whirling eyes a mix of grey and yellow. Nuoth’s reassurances where of little comfort. Especially when Erilena started vomiting. Creeling in distress the sound became louder until it started drawing the attention of quite a few others. But she is sick. Oh so sick. Help her please. The words where given to no one in particular, instead being broadcasted to those in her immediate area. Her creel became a soft keen then. The feelings of distress she emanated no doubt making the whole situation worse. Mavenath’s withdrawal was not even vaguely noted nor was Trilaranth’s arrival. Curling tightly in on herself the green shuddered from head to tail tip. Stop. Make it stop. How did she stop it?

Ladel still in hand he watched in horror as R'ven dumped the punch bowl. Bless his soul for having his heart in the right place - drinking was so so right, but fooling people into it was so so wrong - but K'sel believed there were other solutions to disposing of the alcoholic mix. Calmly and without menace the rider looked over at the former smith and off-handedly mentioned, "Now you didn't have to do that...I could have put it away without it going to waste..." Yes, he had just proposed that he was willing to have drunk it all, despite the fallout. He just hated the idea of it all soaking into the dirt and grass instead of digesting in his stomach. Oh well, he really needn't be getting all distracted when he had things to do anyway. Pettahth made sure to remind him of this as well.
Mine. K'selmine. I would like to politely remind you to remove your head from your behind and go and help Nuoth's. She is quite distressed over hers and Feyrianth. The Fey-one is very young you know. The dragon, unable to reach any of the other dragons - quite the common issue when you were full grown, seemed to be one of the many downsides of adulthood - he could do very little from the spot where he was lounging. At very least he could see Nuoth perhaps? He touched her mind back with an ever confident warmth Are you somewhere I can find you? It was but a brief question before moving on to help reassure the younger four-winged green. Fey-one. You should not worry. The dizzy-sick is only temporary. Yours will be fine, and cared for well. K'selmine says that to 'yak' will make it better. I never know what this means, but perhaps Yours does?
Right then K'sel abandoned his spot by the discarded refreshments and strode right past the vomiting Erilena. Well, she 'yaked' alright. Good thing she was being handled by that harper. The brownrider looked past that pair to the girl he was looking for and immediately found himself calling out to her, "Nephele....Nepheleeeee!" He took a few steps closer until he was within arms length of her, "What are you doing you silly drunk?" He pulled the gift he had for her back, he didn't know how much he wanted to give it to her. Call him selfish, but he was little concerned that she would wake up forgetting who exactly it was that invested in her.

T'ke blinked up at the figures in front of him. He was sure they hadn't been there before. He giggled. What a good trick that was, appearing from now where. "Yesh," he grinned in agreement to Eselda. "Happy, yesh!" He raised his cup in salute. "How 'bout you four?" he asked cheerfully. He frowned when the cup disappeared. He stared at his empty hand in confusion. He was sure he'd been holding something. Looking up, he beamed at R'ven. "You like punch too?" If he was hurt, he hadn't bothered to take notice yet.
A shadow appeared over head as a blue dragon plowed through to T'ke. Normally polite enough not to invade a crowd, Garaeth no longer cared about niceties. He wanted T'ke to be happy when he wanted to be, not from silly liquid. Humans really were odd creatures sometimes. T'ke looked up, nearly falling over as he craned his neck, and waved. "Who your friend, Garaeth?" he slurred, so much so that the name was almost unrecognizable. I am alone, silly T'ke, Garaeth tutted like a mother. I think you have had enough for one night. "Awww," he moped. "Yur no fun." He pointed an accusing finger at the phantom Garaeth. "You either!"

T'san smiled slightly at Meira's expression but it faded as his attention was brought to the salamandyr. To distract himself from thinking too much about his lost green he grabbed the glass after she set it down. He took a sip without much of a second thought to germs. Healers were suppsoed to be healthy anyways, no? He hummed thoughtfully before nodding at Meira. "Simple wine. Not that great of quality either. Mimic...he's probably drunk." It helped a little that Aliene hadn't liked the brown all that much. Tolerable but not her Simper.
The brownrider ignored the salamandyr's protest to being called drunk. It was just easier not to address the creatures. When his blue was spoken to the firelizard shrunk away, scuttling behind T'san's neck somewhat and grasping the back of his shirt with his back feet. It was talking to him! Nevroti was a shy sort and prone to hiding if he felt too scared. He brushed Mimic's mind in greeting ever so slightly out of politeness but he didn't move from his chosen spot.
He watched the goldrider looked around ane was amused. Yes, quite the number of interesting drunks around. He set the cup down on the table again. The man had a fairly high tolerance but he really didn't need to drink. That and a repeat of that one time would be very, very bad. The amusement in Meira's tone made the brownrider grin slightly and he shook his head. "No use in spiking water. Nothing to cover up the flavour or the smell of wine." The brownrider paused as he heard the music kick up again he smiled devilishly. "Before she gets a drink, would the fair lady honour me with a dance?" He bowed slightly and offered a hand.
----
Eikane finally got bored with doing nothing and so he decided to play something. Who knew, maybe the music would help center the drunks...or not. The goldhandler was just tired of doing nothing at a party. It just wasn't done. He picked a medium paced song and started to play on the guitar. Eikask crooned along as she realized it was a familiar song and she was a little off but for a draconic creature she wasn't too horrible. There were certainly worse out there.
----
Nuoth continued to send comforting thoughts to Feyrianth but she knew it likely wasn't helping. She couldn't remember being as young as Feyrianth and so she couldn't figure out what may have helped the other green. At Pettahth's question she replied, I'm off to the side. To the right and south a bit from the Harper stage. Her eyes whirled a slow yellow as she kept an eye on Hers and the others. One thing the green would not allow was if any of the males thought to Fly Hers when she wasn't able to make the choice for herself.
Nephele marvelled at the clear night sky while she remained laying on the table. It might have been comfy if not for whatever was digging into her back. How had she not noticed it before? Oh right, she'd been kissing someone. Erilena. Now that she thought about it...that was a little odd wasn't it? Oh well. People only lived once! She'd be changing her tune in the morning but for the moment Nephele had been quite happy to ignore the fact that she'd just kissed a girl. Made out with her, actually.
When her name was called she sat up and giggled. Oh, it was - "Kasella! Kasella, hiiii," she said, standing upright and swayed unsteadily for a moment. "Drunk...?" The pause was lengthy as she considered that one word. "That might be why the world is tilting." That was more likely the angle she stood at but it was ultimately caused by her being drunk so she wasn't exactly wrong. She grabbed his arm to steady herself as gravity seemed to give her a slight push from behind. "Hiiiii."

Tarath squeaked in joy as she realized that her one true love was coming! She scrambled around her room TRYING to find anything pretty her's might have. She needed to look her best! And so she did find something - a length of gorgeous forest green fabric, which she proceeded to wrap around herself. She was in the process of it when M'ta showed up, causing the green to squeal with joy. Oh my one true love! You came for me! You came! Oh my darling one true love! M'ta I love you! the green gushed as she wiggled back and forth. Oh how she loved - what?
I do not want Meagen, I want you! my humanlove! My one true love. She is lovemine, you are humanlove! Tarath exclaimed as she gave a mental giggle. She cuddled up to the man and almost purred with excitement, if dragons could purr? Could she Purr? She might try. I can feel mine, she is well she is saying her happiness to her clutchbrother-thing. The one that there is two of! She is saying her happiness that he is a Rider, like we will be some day. Oh M'ta! You promised? You Promise! If I go to all my lessons - I'll be yours?
Meagen laughed softly as she looked towards the actions of X'rx. "If you say" she said in a weak voice. Faranth, what was up with people and flirting with her - it wasn't like she was pretty or anything. "Anyways, I came to see you guys for a moment. I really didn't plan on staying for overly long." She said as she looked around a bit of distaste on her face. As she realized exactly what Cry had done. Shaking her head with an exasperated sigh she glared playfully at the male.
"Yeah I think going somewhere else is fine." She said as she followed the two of them. "X'rx, this is for you." She said as she held out the Amethyst rock wrapped in fabric. "Cry, this is for you." She stated as she held out the wrapped up box. Looking around for a moment she rolled her shoulder back. "I kind of only came to give you guys the presents, I didn't want to stay away from Tarath long - but... it appears as if she has decided she is occupied elsewhere." She said as she gave a long sigh and rubbed her hand on her face.

Mimic’s confusion at the blue firelizard’s shyness probably was magnified by the amount he’d had to drink. Meira winced slightly as he cooed, abstractedly, after Nevroti. Ugh, but drunk mindmates weren’t very fun…even if all she felt from Mimic was a kind of fuzzy happiness. Hopefully Salamandyrs didn’t get hangovers; she very well couldn’t give him fellis for it. Yeah. That would probably be a bad idea…maybe she could send him to stay with Jingth for now, though; she still felt bad for having him near, even if T’san was, apparently, too polite to mention it.
“I guess not.” Not that she’d put it past whoever was responsible for spiking punch when there were weyrlings present, but…the music distracted her, the next minute. Or more accurately, it distracted Mimic; the Salamandyr offered a startled squeak and nearly toppled straight off of his perch on her shoulder, only his tail preventing him from going splat onto the ground. And then – “W – what?” Right, because that was ever so eloquent. Meira blinked, startled, at T’san’s request, and she half-wished that it was darker out, to hide the flush that darkened her cheeks.
“I – I’m not really good at dancing,” she admitted, awkwardly, but nevertheless, she nodded. The jacket draped over her arm was placed over the back of an unoccupied chair nearby – she was fairly certain nobody’d take it, since there were only three golds in the Weyr and the stitching on the jacket was, undeniably and very obviously, gold. That done, Meira hesitated a moment before she placed her hand into T’san’s, biting her lip shyly.
From her shoulder, Mimic squeaked quietly as Meira felt Jingth’s mind brush over hers, and the brown’s – and then the Salamandyr turned in a circle once, before leaping off of His. The Salamandyr landed on the table, peering backwards to coo in pleasant reassurance at Meira, and scampered off (albeit slightly dizzily, as if he wasn’t quite sure how his feet worked properly anymore) in the general direction of the dragon. Jackets and little brown slaves, the gold commented, her voice soothing as well as amused, Are most irritating when dancing, I’d expect.
Which, really, she couldn't argue with.

Trilaranth let out rumbled of.. annoyance. He moved closer to Feyrianth's paling form and unfolded a wing to drape over her. Feysistermine. We are here, you need not worry. Because of course everything would be better now that they were here. Could they solve a situation simply by arriving? Trilaranth certainly believed so. His head sharply turned to Mavenath – most displeased. Couldn't his bronzebrother keep a better hold on his rider?
R'ven paid no mind to Sel'n's nod, and merely grunted in response to K'sel's words. For the most part R'ven kept his attention on T'ke, only easing back a step with Garaeth invaded the party. Must be the guy's dragon and R'ven gave the blue a critical eye over. Did alcohol in the human half effect the winged half? His attention swiveled to Eselda slouched in the nearby chair – couldn't very well leave T'ke in the girl's care, she was just as drunk as the bluerider.
Rubbing at his temple, R'ven gazed up at the concerned Garaeth. "Are you able to take him back to his weyr so he can sleep it off.. ?" To the girl Eselda he shot a curiously look. "Are you one of the new weyrlings?"
Mine, please get to Fey's, she is very upset. Of course the brown would only be concerned for those he cared about; didn't understand R'ven's sense of responsibility for them all. Another stumbling female just a few strides away. And who was responsible? R'ven shot another look in Cr'oph's directly only to see the bronze weyrling sweeping up X'rx and slinking off. R'ven's eyes narrowed in distaste. What was that about now? Weren't bronze riders suppose to be normal? Was this a case of take whatever was near, drunk and flirting with him and duck off before he got caught?
A wave of revulsion rippled over R'ven's expression, but it was at that moment to that the sound of repeated vomiting drew his attention aside. Too much going on at once for him to deal with alone. Taking Eselda's hand, R'ven drew her back up to her feet to head toward Dmitri and Erilena -- leave T'ke in the care of Garaeth.
"Trade you," He spoke to Dmitri in low tone that was carefully absent of emotion. R'ven released Eselda's hand, hoping she could manage to stay upright for a moment or two. He was reached down for Erilena, pulling her hair back and twisting it with one hand to hold against the back of her head. Part of him was certain Dmitri wouldn't mind removing himself from the puke.. or excuse himself to go clean up. R'ven briefly look back at the harper before he addressed the green weyrling. "Eri.. " his tone soft and in a tone he wished only she heard. "Can you walk? Let's get you some water.." And cleaned up, and preferably somewhere she could lay down and rest.

KaaolothTeacherMine, you will show me how to get glowy? All the older greens know how. Do you think one of them will tell me the secret? She snuggled into the brown, feeling calmer already. Oh, the wine wasn't where it was supposed to be, that was all. As long as it made sense...wouldn't do to feel like you were drinking wine when you weren't. Naughty Mavenath's, for putting wine where it shouldn't be, though she liked the airy feeling a bit. It's okay; we like it. Mine just didn't know why. Shouldn't feel like you're drinking the bubbly airy stuff when you haven't drunk any, right, KaaolothTeacherMine? Oh, and here was a Mavenath! Hiii Maverick. Oh, that is good, because we are getting sleepy. Just a little.
X'rx was walking backwards with Cr'oph at his side, not wanting to be rude since Meagen was still talking and didn't seem to be in any mood to leave and return to her green. Odd, that. For being intoxicated, he was managing a pretty smooth backward walk right there. "Came to see us? That's nice of you." He blinked as she extended the gift to him, taking it in a hand and looking down at it briefly. "Were we exchanging gifts at the graduation? No one told me...or I forgot. I have nothing for you, Meagen." He tucked it in his pocket for the time-being, mostly because at that precise moment Cr'oph elected to hand him a glass of water.
A glass of water that nearly ended up all over the two of them when X'rx was swept up without warning. "I...what?" He sipped obediently at the water, slipping his free arm up around Cr'oph's shoulders to lessen the burden of carrying him. "Just two cups...but if you spiked it, I haven't eaten yet. Too busy all day prepping," he responded quietly. A flicker of upset. "We're not supposed to be drinking, Cr'oph. It's a mess," he finally noted, seeing quite a bit more from this vantage than he had on his own two feet. Still, he didn't chide his friend any further. For one, he felt...good. He nuzzled the man's neck, relishing the warmth of the close contact. "Mmm, Eve's fine. She likes the floating. You smell good, Cr'oph." After a moment, he sighed. "Maybe...take me back? I'm a little...friendly...tipsy. Don't want to cause trouble." He forced himself to stop nuzzling the bronzeweyrling.
Not amused, not amused, not the least bit amused. It was only mildly tolerable - emphasis on mildly - because it was Erilena's digestive juices coating his front, but only barely. That and she hadn't meant to. Still, yuck. He awkwardly rubbed her back, pressing her back gently at the shoulder, trailing strings of viscuous fluid connecting them. Faranth, yuck. "It's okay, Lena. The sickness won't last forever. Someone probably slipped alcohol into something..." Considering all the people bumbling around. "You'll be fine. Just, try to aim at the ground next time, kay?" He kept his hands on her in an attempt to soothe without continuing to smear the vomit all around.
More than just a little relieved to be rescued by his brownriding friend from further vomitting, Dmitri wrinkled his nose and let R'ven take Erilena. He glanced sidelong at Eselda. "I don't know this girl...have any idea where she belongs? Trust you to wait until after your girlfriend gets sick to come to her rescue. How convenient," he concluded dryly, carefully worming out of his shirt so as not to get any of the stuff on his skin. Holding that up between thumb and forefinger in one hand, he slid his arm around Eselda. "Hey there. I'm Dmitri, gonna get you somewhere where you can lie down, clear your head. But I don't know where you sleep, so you're going to have to help me a little, okay?"
Without missing a beat, he moved slowly toward the tables, catching sight of Sel'n. Well, what do you know, the man supposed to be keeping everything under control. Fine job he was doing, too. He tossed the shirt at the man. "Hey, Weyrlingmaster, I signed on for singing, not taking care of this mess. Got a bluerider giggling on his seat over there, R'ven has Erilena, that ratty looking brownrider's taking care of Nephele, and I've got this little bubblehead. Another girl's stumbling around here somewhere. Why don't you do your job? Oh, and I expect a replacement for that shirt. Come on, hun. Let's get some water in you." The switch from grouchy to tender was immediate, the boy pressing the glass into her hand, holding it there until he was sure she had it.
"Wouldn't having both of us be even better?" he questioned quietly, struggling to keep a firm hold on the squirmy green while Behruth circled, waiting for a direction to go. The graduation...not sure what she's doing there, but that sounds like what the hatchling is talking about. Which was fortunate, considering M'ta had been headed there as it was. He would've been there sooner, too, had not Teri insisted on being fussy about going to bed. She was generally a good child, but all children had their moments. M'ta was only partially paying attention to the chirpy voice in his head. "If you're good, eat your food, don't cause too much trouble, show up to all your lessons and learn them well...we'll talk about it. I might even make you a gift for your graduation."
The brownpair swirled down, landing in one of the few spots that wasn't flooded with moving bodies and chaos on the edge of the party. What the shards? M'ta slid down with a Tarath still in his arms, moving through the press. Drunken stumbling, vomitting...and was Meira dancing with T'san in the midst of this while a harper played? So strange. Well, he'd meant to congratulate her, but since she seemed preoccupied and he had a very active fabric-swathed green in his arms, he should probably find Meagen first. And there she was. "Hey, girl! Never met anyone who could part from their Bonded this early." He gave her an odd look as he presented Tarath to Hers. "What the shards is going on here?"

"Goooood. I am happy too. Now get up!" Eselda ignored the dragon, completely focused on the task at hand. It seemed to be both standing up and making this boy get up. She couldn't say why it was so important, it just was. "Upupup!" She grabbed his hand and yanked it. Naturally, being just barely average in height, she didn't have the required leverage to do this.
She pulled his arm, frustrated that she seemed to be pulling him forward not up. She yanked again, almost desperately. She fell backwards, toppling over in a messy sommersault. "OOoooOOOooooops!" she said, exaggerating her tone in ups and downs in pitch. "Are you okay?" She hoped she didn't rip his arm out. That would be bad. Bad bad bad. "Bad bad bad!"
She blinked. Did she say that out loud? She blushed. "I'm Eselda! Did I say that already? What's your name? Did you say that already? Why are we all clumsy and weird-feeling and mixed up? What's going on? Why do I feel weird? I don't care. I like it. Oh! Before I forget, my name's Eselda. Wait, did I say that already?" Completely confused and talking about nothing in particular, she stumbled to her feet.
A young man grabbed her arm, leading her away from the giggling boy on the ground. What had he just said? Quite belatedly, the answer came to her. "Noooooo I am not a weyrling. I am a candidate. I didn't Impress but it was fun anyways. Fun fun fun." He released her, and she looked around. Everything was pleasantly fuzzy...
Almost suddenly, a new boy put his arm around her, talking about having her rest. She wasn't sick! "Noooo I don't wanna go to sleep! I'm not sleepy yet. I wanna have fun!" Her groans and complaints had no effect, for she let him lead her away, complaining all the way. She listened to his conversation, being politely quiet, before stomping her foot. "I am not a bubblehead! I am Eselda!" He gave her a glass of water. She grasped it.
Water! She was thirsty! How had she not known she was thirsty? She drank greedilly, trails of water dripping down her face. She finished it in seconds. "Thank you. More water, please?" She was oh so thirsty. And now that she listened to her body, hungry. "Food too?" She felt unsteady and leaned against the unknown person. Of course he could fetch her water and food while keeping her from falling. Her own two feet were unsteady, and shaking lightly.

Kaaoloth gave Eveyth a slight nudge after her words. They where not odd per say, but they did make him worry a bit. She was a little too young to be thinking about flight. Most dragons weren’t mature until a year of growth. Some females even took longer. Although it was not unheard of for a female to rise early. Her bonded’s little escapade with Azrath’s may have affected her without intention. The large brown’s voice was soft as he addressed the green. There is no secret to becoming glowy my little Eveyth. You will simply glow when it is time. There is no rushing it.
Well there was normally no rushing it. Craning his neck he caught sight of Feyrianth next and gave her a soft mental brush. Do not worry my little Feyrianth. Things will be okay. Yours will be taken care of. You can help her by keeping calm yourself. If you panic so to will she. Switching to a different target he bespoke Garaeth. If yours has trouble walking you will have trouble flying. If you can get him to a more quiet area we will be glad to help you get your rider to his weyr.
If Sel’n noticed that R’ven was intentionally ignoring him it seemed he did not mind. In fact he took a moment to coldly gaze over the minimal chaos that had erupted. It seemed to be slowly fixing itself. Most of the weyrlings seemed eager to take care of their own. The Weyrlingmaster had just started for Karou with the intention of finding out where she belonged when Dmitri hailed him. The vomit smeared shirt was caught with a quick movement before he fully realized what it was. Disgust momentarily washed over his features before he dropped the clothing and wiped his hand briefly on his pants. A mild glare was given to the harper but really he didn’t care to get into a altercation with a sixteen turn old brat.
Instead the brownrider made his way the remaining distance to Karou and gently tugged at her arm. “Hello there hun. I’m Sel’n. Where do you belong hmm?” A quick check of her knots revealed her to be a candidate. “How are you feeling? We should get you some water. The punch seemed to have an additive I wasn’t aware of. Do you know how much you have had.” His voice was kept at a soft volume and the words where spoken clearly. Even so he couldn’t be sure if she understood him or not as he attempted to gently steer her back to the tables. What a sharding mess.

Cr’oph just smiled briefly at Meagan and raised an eyebrow. A gift? It wasn’t his graduation but eh he’d take a gift if she wanted to give him one. “Kind of got my hands full Megs. Mine keeping it for me for a bit?” He inclined his head to X’rx. He didn’t want to seem ungrateful but he was currently busy with making sure his friend was okay. The greenrider’s words drew his attention back to the younger male in his arms. The bronzeweyrling gave a slight snort. “Yeah. My bad. Guess I should have thought about all the possible outcomes.” His eyes flicked back to the gathering briefly but it seemed that everything was quickly getting taken care of. No harm no foul. Mavenath’s displeasure at that thought was made known in the form of a loud growl that carried. Ignoring his bronze was easy however for X’rx chose that moment to nuzzle his neck and Cr’oph stiffened slightly. Awkward that was. He liked X’rx. As a friend a sort of small brother figure. He couldn’t argue though that the nuzzle felt good. To long without female company he reckoned. Ten months of abstinence? Really? It was the worst torture he could think of.
Shaking his head slightly the bronzer smiled. “Yeah I think we need to get you home. Good thing you have a ground floor weyr. I don’t think it would be a smart idea to let Eve try and fly you home. Mave and I will walk you guys instead.” Turning toward his bronze he prodded his mind hesitantly flinching at the intentional violent prodding and the anger he felt from his ‘better’ half. Mavenath moved intentionally between Kaaoloth and Eveyth and lowered his head to nudge the smaller green. Evey my darling sister. Mine is taking yours home. I would be honored to accompany you on your way as well. Ducking his head under her chin he nuzzled her. Can you walk? If not I am sure it will be no problem to carry you if you can't. The bronze crouched down beside her and gestured with his head towards his back. Just watch the claws Evey.
Touching the minds of his classmates, as well as Nuoth, he spoke. I extend apologies for my bonded’s ignorance. I promise you I will keep a tighter leash upon him. Childish he is. He trusted them to pass the apology along. To the humans he would not speak. Although in a brief show of empathy he did brush oh so gently against Erilena’s mind to press upon her a soothing feeling. He withdrew after that, hoping that his four winged sister didn’t hold the decision to do such against him. He was well aware that Feyrianth didn’t like him even if he wasn’t quite sure why.

Feyrianth whimpered softly as she felt the thin membrane of Trilaranth’s wing over her back. Trembling violently she slightly raised her head, hide still pale and eyes whirling rapidly in sickly grey shades. The reassurances of the three browns and the green helped a bit. Enough to get her attention definitely. The fact that R’ven now had hers helped very much as well. He would let nothing happen to hers if he could prevent it. This the green was certain of. Shifting backwards she pressed her trembling body against her brown brother and gave a soft whine. She is so sick. So sick. I do not like it. I do not know how she got the nasty water. Her hide had regained a bit of it’s color but she was still very pale. Kaaoloth’s words made sense. If she was calmer hers, by proxy, would be calmer. Softly she brushed against Erilena’s mind pressing upon her thoughts of safety. It is okay Lenalove. Tril’s is there. He will make sure you are okay.
Trembling violently Erilena still wasn’t completely sure what was going on as she doubled over to retch again. The moving of her hair was only vaguely registered. Mainly because it made her neck feel cooler. Trembling violently the soft voice that washed over her had to be carefully concentrated on. Walk? The woman shook her head slightly. She didn’t trust her trembling legs to hold. Instead she blindly reached for R’ven, gripping him desperately. Don’t leave please. “I…don’t feel…well.” She reiterated again.
The vomiting had quieted down to the occasional dry heave by now but her throat felt raw and it was hard to swallow. The sobbing too had quieted as she panted to draw breath. Tears still ran down her face but the overwhelming panic was starting to recede. Especially now that Feyrianth was adding her own reassurances to the mix. Water sounded good, but for the moment she didn’t trust herself to speak. Instead falling silent and heavily leaning against the large presence beside her, trusting him to keep her from falling. It was all like some horrible nightmare, but maybe she was starting to wake up?

Ugh, she called him Kasella and sadly he found this somehow to be cute. Maybe it was the fact that she was soooo loud and ridiculous and she apparently wasn't even aware how blitzed she was. Hilarious. Cute. She was going to be so mad in the morning. He just knew it. So he was going to forgive her for using that name since really that was the last of his worries and just smile at her in the hopes that if she remembers anything, it would be that he was being nice to her. Again. How uncharacteristic of him, "Yeah you little boozer, you're drunk.....whoa..."
He felt her grab his arm and start falling towards him which he immediately corrected by taking another hand and grabbing her shoulder to keep her still. Though this messy process did involve freeing up hands...which also meant that he dropped her gift right into the dirt between their feet. It was all good and well that he had it in that box though, and luckily enough it mostly held up to the abuse, though jarring it did throw a little lever out of whack, and the little dinky cylinder inside started moving and the tinny sound of little melodies creeped out of the music box.
Oops.
He tried to distract the drunk girl from it. Which shouldn't have been too hard, after all she was quite inebriated, "So do you wanna sit down?" Ugh, it seemed pointless, but as stubborn as K'sel could be, he just had to pretend he didn't almost drop the gift on the girl's foot.
I will be there in just a moment Nuoth-friend. The brown didn't notice that he tacked on the friend part, but his rider noted that this was a new thing for the dragon, which was so strange...wasn't she always his friend? Didn't he always call her that? Well forget K'sel. He didn't know what he was talking about half the time anyway. The dragon lifted onto four feet and made sure to stretch before taking the quick flight over to where the green was. It was so fast it seemed only to be a jump before he angled in to land next to Nuoth in one fluid movement. Wasn't that just neat? He had been learning so much from their lessons and wing drills. Hello again. Is yours going to be alright? I know Feyone's is awful sick and she is very worried. Are you as worried for yours too? He canted his head in careful consideration.

T'san watched with slight alarm as Mimic almost fell. When he realized the little brown was okay he looked away from the salamandyr, eyes fixing on Meira's face. He smiled with amusement at her startled exclamation and expression. Yes, it was quite the sudden request and he wasn't really surprised that it got such a reaction out of her. He liked keeping her on her toes. It was, quite frankly, adorable. While she sorted herself out he reached with his other hand around his back for Nevroti. The blue stepped onto the man's hand and he brought the blue around in front of him.
The brownrider set the firelizard on a nearby table and silently promised he'd stay within sight. He wasn't leaving the blue behind, he really wasn't. Besides, if Nevroti stayed on him he risked being touched by Meira. That got tentative agreement from his newest mindmate to stay put and so T'san was left without any impediments to any dancing. That unfortunately left A'emi's bite mark bare but he ignored it in face of something quite interesting. He chuckled as she mentioned she wasn't a good dancer. "Neither am I," he admitted. "So we'll be a good much." Wink.
He watched Mimic leap off his companion and barely withheld a grateful sigh. It wasn't really fair to Meira for him to wish her salamandyr away. T'san closed his hand over Meira's gently and drew her away from the tables (just enough so they wouldn't bump into them, don't worry Nevroti). Then... he was at a bit of a loss. Dancing sounded great but he wasn't exactly sure where to put his hands. He didn't want her too uncomfortable after all. He made up his mind; he continued to hold her hand and cautiously placed his other hand on the back of her shoulder blade. He watched her face for any sign it was too much.
Dsoleth rumbled quietly in amusement where he was sprawled. He normally only sprawled on his own weyrledge but he was a bit tired. His had taken him flying to practice a bit. It wasn't a usual occurance and the brown was willing to bet that it was just because His wanted to get out of the weyr for a little while. They'd flown out over the jungle and then picked a random direction to go for a while, practicing some fairly basic maneouvres on the way. He sleepily brushed against Jingth's mind in greeting. Hello Jingth. How are you tonight?
----
Nephele giggled at what he called her and again when he helped her stay relatively upright. Wasn't he just so nice! Thankfully for all present, she was not a violent drunk, though the affectionate part might have caused a bit of havoc to almost-but-not-quite old enough weyrlings had she been allowed (or even able) to run wild. As it was, she had a satisfactory distraction and crutch in the form of K'sel. The gift went ignored as another wave of dizzyness hit her and she leaned forward to rest her head on K'sel's chest.
"Nn. Dizzyyy. Stay still. Just a second...juuuuust a second..." She muttered with a large amount of her energy still present. The dizzy would pass after a moment and then she could get back to the party! The moment did indeed pass - motion seemed to be the cause - and she pulled back. "All better! Let's sit." She let go of his shoulder and moved to the nearest table, the one she'd fallen on when Erilena and her made out. Rather than sit on a chair she plunked herself onto the top of the table again. Too much work to sit in a chair.
Nuoth was pleasantly surprised by the affix added to her name and she fluttered her wings in anticipation. Nuoth-friend! How very nice. She crooned when the brown arrived and considered his question. NepheleMine will be okay. She's very happy but kind of dizzy. The green rather suspected any puking might come later...if at all. Not everyone puked when they got drunk. She was less concerned than Feyrianth, she knew. Nuoth knew Hers would be okay later, not to mention that Hers was still in a better way than Feyrianth's. I am concerned, though less so than our friend. NepheleMine has Yours to look after her too so that reassures me. I am just thankful our weyr is on the ground level. The dizziness Hers occasionally experienced also affected the green and she would prefer not to have to fly if she could avoid it.

Meagen tried so hard not to laugh at the males. Silly little boys and their spiked punch. She wouldn't touch it because she had Tarath to worry about. Speaking about Tarath she can feel the dragons joy about something. Oh shards, what was going on with her? She shook her head a little and tilted her head down, giggling into her hand. She was tired and confused apparently, but she still was giving them their damned presents! That she was indeed!
Tarath arched her head and nuzzled against M'ta's face. I am fine now my one true love, I have you - but she as well would be great. And Behruth, then we can all be together forever and ever! she exclaimed as she laid still in his arms - watching everything move around her as she was brought to her bonded. She stayed regal and still for the male as she looked at her bonded. Oh no! It was that red haired thing! Get away from him! Your one true love is Behruth - Meagenmine, and you will not lead others on please. She snapped at her bonded eyes whirling with anger. Only for a moment, and then it was all cheery again.
Meagen sighed as she looked straight at the rider. "She had fallen asleep - I didn't plan on being around long. I came here to see two people very important to me. Then I am going back. But it seems Tarath had other things in mind. I don't know why she's so obsessed with you." She commented lightly. She sighed as she rubbed the back of her head. "I think the punch was spiked, sir... so everyone that drank it - is reacting." She said wit a weak smile. She'd never reveal who did it - though he'd probably speak up on his own - eventually.

R'ven spared an apologetic look to Dmitri before returning his attention to Erilena. He caught her arm as it reached for him, frowning mildly when she shook her head to his question. Releasing her hair, R'ven brushed the side of his thumb over her cheeks to remove the tear tracks. He was fairly certain that she didn't need to see a healer – just get some water, maybe a touch of food, then rest. Wouldn't be the first drunk he had taken care of throughout his turns. Not the first near hysterical crying one either..
Bending at the knees, R'ven urged Erilena's arms around his neck before he lifted her up – a hand to each of her thighs. In the back of his mind he hoped she was done throwing up. It wouldn't bother him too much if she did. Thankfully it didn't sicken him to the point where he would feel the impulse to vomit too – and it was easy to clean up afterwards. Still, that didn't stop him from hoping she was done with that matter.
"Going to take you back to your weyr," He spoke softly while leading them away from the graduation at a slow pace as to not jostle the green weyrling.
Mavenath's did it. Trilaranth pointed out unabashedly. Don't worry Feymine. Mine says humans get sick every now and then, but they get better. Mine will make sure of that. Laying his own neck over Feyrianth's, the brown resolved to just staying with his sister instead of trying to urge her elsewhere until she was ready to move. Mavenath's apology was passed on, but all he got in return from His was a mental snort.

Well. She wasn’t entirely sure what she ought to be feeling right about then: Awkward? Because it kind of was. There were far too many people drunk (and vomiting) around, and part of Meira wanted to go make sure they were okay, even if chances were the worst anybody would be dealing with was a hangover. Apparently it wasn’t dominant enough a part, though. The goldrider allowed T’san to lead her away from the tables, where, fortunately, there were other people (none that she recognized, but still) that weren’t drunk and were dancing.
His words drew a nervous smile from Meira, and even if it was mostly intended for a joke, it was comforting, too. She wasn’t going to trip flat or anything, but still, it was nice knowing she wouldn’t look too terribly inept. Maybe. It was probably easier for girls to dance, anyway, she noted absently, just follow the lead…? It seemed pretty natural, anyway, one hand on T’san’s shoulder, the other in his, just following.
Of course, it might have been a little better if she didn’t have to occasionally peek downwards at their feet to make sure that she wasn’t about to trip or step on T’san, but still. It was nice. As her gaze flicked downwards, automatically, for the third time, Meira couldn’t help but laugh, quietly, half out of self-deprecation and half just out of nervousness. “Seems strange to be dancing when everyone’s falling down,” she observed, keeping her voice low enough not to disturb any of the people around them; she half-turned to glance towards Sel’n, busy with a dark-haired girl she didn’t recognize. “It’s definitely a first, anyway…”
It probably wasn’t necessary to speak, but it kept things…a little less awkward, for her. At any rate, it regulated the blush that she still couldn’t actively control, which was good.
Sleepy. The brown sounded sleepy. Jingth crooned quietly to herself, stretching a little. She peered around, automatically, to check (had she missed Dsoleth in her initial glance around?), before she responded. Hello, Dsoleth. I’m doing quite well. It is amusing to watch, the party, though I’m sure that not all of the younger would agree… The gold had barely kept the ‘mine’ off of the end of Dsoleth’s name; she thought of him as hers, after all. It seemed natural, but…And you? You sound tired. Were you sleeping?
