Sslowly, Ekarth had already began to lift himself off the ground when Cootie didn't immediately bolt into the pen in chase. He arched himself over the top post in a motion that could only described as slithering. His narrow chest and sunken abdomen making it possible for him where it would not for any other dragon. Each motion was done slowly to avoid causing the herdbeasts to be triggered into a flight of panic. They were entirely too docile and accustom to the sight and smell of dragons - but baser instincts still made them run when the noticed fast movements.
His back legs pushed off the top post of the fence, making the wood groan, as he pushed himself the rest of the way into the pen. The blue instantly flatten against the grass again, quite literally sliding across the ground to lessen the motions of his body. He paused when he was a dragon's length away from the nearest grazing heardbeast - a calf. Beware the hoovess that ssmassh. It iss their only defensse. If one iss quick you can climb high, to the back of it'ss neck. There, behind the beasst's ear, iss it'ss weakness.
Ba'sun mimicked Armind's pose, lacing fingers behind his head as he continued along the path. The look, too, was mirrored on the bluerider's face. A young man that knew everything there was about the world, he was a master of all and nothing could stop him. Yes, that chin did lift into the air to match the defiance Armid projected. "If I'm so old as that, than you must be as young as a babe."
Strolling, Ba'sun purposely made it slow and with large steps to suit the young and careless demeanor next to him. "And what business does a babe have up on drumheights anyway. There's much more fun to be had elsewhere."
