She wasn’t the type to cry, usually. Definitely not in public, no matter how…stressful, painful, humiliating…the situation was; she tended to just bottle everything up instead and just stay in the Infirmary for hours on end. Right now? She was counting the minutes until she could get to the Infirmary, because it was so easy to just be a Healer and not be a person there. And if she didn’t actually break into a run, she could even convince herself that she wasn’t running away, no matter how much it felt like it, no matter how much she wanted to just bolt to Jingth. It almost surprised her that she felt bad for having to pull Jingth away from Dsoleth, but…
Don’t, the gold assured her firmly, and then crooned quietly to Dsoleth. She was distressed, yes, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t think straight. Is she not? The question was as neutral as Jingth could make it with Hers upset, but she did try to make sure Dsoleth knew that the faint threads of disapproval in her tone weren’t intended for him by nuzzling his shoulder absently. Not saying she wasn’t a little annoyed with T’san, but that wasn’t really his fault either. Didn’t stop her, though.
At least the dragons weren’t that far of a walk, and given that she’d been walking faster going to them, it didn’t take long before Meira could run her palm along Jingth’s side, moving around to the dragon’s head. “Sorry, Dsoleth,” she commented quietly, forcing a smile that she knew had to be entirely unconvincing for the brown’s benefit. “I’ve got to steal Jingth from you for awhile, but I’m sure she can come back down to see you again in a bit. Won’t take long, I promise.” The gold wasn’t wearing straps, which they usually wore when flying, but that was fine for now; it’d just be a quick flight.
“Jingth,” she added, quieter, “C’mon, let’s go, I’m really sorry, just – the Infirmary, please?”
But, Jingth replied, hesitating even as she uncoiled from Dsoleth, still including the brown in her mental speech. Love? I don’t think…/is/ she? The question was for Dsoleth again, the uncertainty coming out in her ‘voice’.

T'san remained as he was for a moment as he plucked his own thoughts out of Nevroti's panic. Poor blue. So that's why he avoided others touching it. The firelizard simply couldn't stand it. It really did explain a lot. Problem was, T'san needed to be able to think clearly at that moment so he placed his hand on the squirming outline of Nevroti under his shirt and sent soothing thoughts to him. It was rather tricky since he himself was a bit panicked (hello, Elysia was still there). He managed to get him to calm down a fraction but movement above him almost made him groan.
Great. Elysia was still at it. Did she get a kick out of antagonizing his firelizard or something? He certainly didn't want Nevroti to start screeching again so T'san decided on his course of action. The brownrider got up from his crouched position and smiled at Elysia. "It has been a while. Buuuuut, I gotta run. See ya!" He'd been slowly backing up through the beginning of his words. His last two had been shot over his shoulder as he broke into a run for his dragon. He wasn't sure if Elysia would follow him but his dragon was pissed off enough that he would help him out. The first goal was safety. The second was to clear up the misunderstanding with Meira. If nothing else, he wanted her to know that he didn't have a lover like the greenrider.
Dsoleth's dark rumbling continued as he realized that His was coming to him for help. That was quite uncommon and more indication than the confused emotions filtering in through their bond than anything else. His didn't want to be near the greenrider. The brown would help him accomplish that much. Fixing things with Jingth may have to wait though. The brown's first concern was getting His to a 'safe place' as deemed by him. He almost missed Jingth's question but she'd always been fairly good at getting his attention and he blinked at her before comprehending.
The brown's rumbling stopped and he said, No, she's not. There was no dislike for Elysia in His' mind but it was unusual for anything to run away from their mate. That and T'san hadn't seen her for a bit and there was no affection for her either. If there was an underlying defensive tone the brown didn't really mean it and he touched his muzzle lightly on Jingth's hide in an attempt to let her know. She didn't mean the disapproval for him but there was the possibilty she was laying the blame on His and he didn't much like that.
Jingth's' expression made the brown lower his head to her and exhale softly. His would be most troubled if he let her stay upset, wouldn't he? He also didn't want Jingth to think poorly of T'san. In an attempt to appease both of the goldpair the brown expanded his mind to Meira reluctantly. She is not his mate. After that statement he withdrew from Meira's mind and attempted to ignore the unpleasantness of addressing another human. The brown did not like doing it in the least. To Jingth he continued, He will be here in a moment. If Yours does not want to see him you should leave now. He couldn't help the slightly sad tone that crept into his mindvoice at the thought of avoidance. The brown nosed Jingth again and moved a couple of dragon-sized steps in the direction His was coming from at a rapid pace.

Elysia couldn’t suppress the triumphant grin that spread across her face as the brownrider fled from her. “I’ll see you later darling~<3” She called in a sing song after his retreating form. Seeing Dsoleth move she gave the brown a wave, never mind he probably wasn’t concerned with her at the moment. Trotting backwards for a moment or two to savor the sight of her chaos she gave a half skip before turning around to trot back down the beach. As she left she put a bit more sway into her hips and swung around in a few happy moves.
Onyth from her curled position on the beach rumbled. Must you cause such chaos wherever you go love. However will you make friends if you act like that? “Tch when have I ever needed friends?” She asked the dragon before leaning against her head and scratching an eye ridge to earn a pleased hum from the beast. Snorting the dark dragon half lidded her eyes in contentment. Point taken. Are you quite done? I think I am ready to leave. Pushing off of Onyth’s head Elysia stretched as she waited for the green to rise. When the dragon was on her feet the greenrider ran at Onyth leaping onto her neck and grabbing at a ridge just as the dragon reared back to leap into the sky. Tightening her legs around Onyth’s neck and balancing her weight she smiled. Loved flying without straps, despite how dangerous it could be.
Winging low over the beach Onyth crooned the noise meant as greeting and departure to the gold and brown before gaining altitude and winking between and back to the weyr.

Love, Jingth crooned, and her muzzle pressed comfortingly against Meira’s palm, She /isn’t/, she… The gold trailed off, turning to lick Dsoleth’s shoulder. The touch was apology and forgiveness all in one, though it was definitely primarily apology; Jingth was sorry that she couldn’t stay longer, that Onyth’s was such a nuisance, that she instinctively wanted to blame His. Love, she repeated to Meira, dipping her head and dropping to her belly so that Hers could mount, If you want to go – I will not be upset with you, I promise…
Meira hesitated, one hand still resting loosely on Jingth’s shoulder, and then did a mental double-take when Dsoleth actually bespoke her. And – wow. Her eyes widened, a mix of shock and embarrassment clear on her face. It was nice of Dsoleth to actually talk to her, but…was her distress really that obvious? “T – thank you,” she stammered, but apparently she wasn’t going to get time to properly comprehend this (or, really, anything that was going on, like why there was a woman calling T’san ‘lover’ when, apparently, they weren’t).
Jingth quietly passed Dsoleth’s message on to her. Wavering, Meira bit at her bottom lip for a minute, glancing over her shoulder in T’san and Elysia’s direction, and then shook her head. “Okay. Let’s go, just…” She stopped just after she’d mounted, glancing at Dsoleth nervously. “I’m really sorry, but, um, could you tell T’san he – he can come by later, if…if he wants.” The smile came a little easier this time, was a little more genuine, if considerably more tentative, still brief as she wrapped her hands around the neck ridge in front of her and brushed against Jingth’s mind quietly.
Come by, the gold added, even as she crouched, flaring her wings in preparation for flight. I want to see you. If you want, I can make it an order for you to bring Yours. Her tone was back to friendly, almost playful, before she leapt into the air, sliding upwards on a cold wind (and yes, she’d been right; it was colder flying than walking) to gain altitude before she went between to the Infirmary.

When Jingth's thanked him Dsoleth did feel a bit guilty. It really hadn't been for her sake but if it helped then who was he to deny the appreciation? He moved back to give Jingth room when Hers decided to leave. He tilted his head slightly when Meira looked at him and listened to what she had to say. Oh. Well that was a good sign, wasn't it? Perhaps he'd done good for His after all. Jingth wasn't made at him either, seen as how she had licked him a moment ago. Really, humans were too complicated. If only they could be more straight-forward there would be fewer problems.
Dsoleth crooned a goodbye and responded to Jingth's words. I will come. And I'll somehow convince Mine to come too. It really oughtn't be too difficult to do. Normally His might like a little more time for things to cool down but it's not like he disliked Meira. If he told His that she said it was okay then he was more likely to drop by sooner. Even if he was disagreeable he could force T'san to go. The brown was bigger and stronger, after all. If His wouldn't get on his back then he'd carry him there by other means.
Elysia...didn't follow. Well, that was good news. Bad news was that Meira, according to Dsoleth, was leaving regardless. He paused when he saw Jingth rise into the air and sat down as she winked between. Ah well. He was apparently welcome to drop by later so that meant not all had been lost. He laid back and let Nevroti crawl out of his shirt to sit on his chest and lick his neck. He pet the blue idly as Dsoleth wandered over and lay down beside His. The brown opened his mind so that what had transpired near the dragons could be passed over.
Huh. She'd been that upset by Elysia's display? Perhaps she was more shy then he thought. Dsoleth nixed that idea. She had seemed upset, not embarassed from having seen a molestation. The brownrider covered his eyes with his arm while Dsoleth spread a wing out over him. Whatever. he could ask about it sometime. For just then, he was a bit sleepy and fully intended on taking a nap. Nevroti curled up on his chest for a rest and Dsoleth curled around His a little more protectively. Silly little human.
