Dsoleth sometimes wished he had been born in the Southern weyr. It was a nice place but it was attracting attention from the nasty places in the North. Benden was very unpleasant and had been a thorn in the side of this weyr more often than Fort but he vaguely remembered a time when some Fortians had come here and done...something. A search of some kind. He couldn't quite remember the details and it hadn't been too important to him or His...Aaaaanyway. He watched Jingth's reaction to what he had said and was pleased that she did not mind where he had come from. He was a little confused why she found it interesting though. Surely there were other Fort dragons still here? He would be very surprised if they were all dead.
The reaction he had received for his little stunt was very rewarding. He had been fighting a chuckle since he saw her eyes widen and her speechlessness. Too amusing! She followed him out to Dsoleth and he was still trying to hide his amusement. She went over to a feline while he went over to the gold and his brown. Dsoleth watched as T'san and Jingth interacted, quite happy to stay where he was. The brownrider grinned at the gold's complete disregard for the dignity her colour is usually known for and administered a good old ridge scratch. He was curious if she would do that when older or if she'd grow into an elegant gold. The nod was not lost on him and he was not surprised when Dsoleth relayed what she had told him.
Dsoleth crooned for her kind words to His as she gave him space to take off. He was also happy that she did not mind keeping him occupied when he would have otherwise been bored. Perhaps I will see you again soon. He will have to come to be checked over again. There was almost a conspiratorial note in his mind voice as His climbed on and settled himself on his back. The brownrider gave a quick wave with his bandaged hand (the other was holding onto the ridge in front of him) and the brown took off for their weyr. He felt like sunning since dropping T'san in a lake was out of question. Bummer.
