"Its how I bring all the men to my door." Flicking a piece of fluff off of his pillow, K'thay frowned. How did Feline hair even get in his room? Damn Weyr cats and their wanderings. It was equally as possible he had brushed up against the fur at some point and deposited it here, either way it was unusual. "Oh, second? I guess I must meet this man who is higher on the list than I." Hands in pockets. That was the best way to stop him from messing with the furnishings of his room. "The guy with the long red hair? What's his name Ma... M'kee? M'cry... M-something." He shrugged. "There has to be at least one nice Weyrlingmaster. I heard that other Weyrlingmaster, the woman, can make kids cry. But of course, that is purely through the grapevine." Crossing back over to where he had started out the Bluerider itched the side of his face. "They have a very... free, gossip channel here." He flicked the hand in a dismissive gesture. "Ehh."
K'thay stretched his arms then settled them across his chest with a smirk. "I am glad I have skills that can be of use." Sitting down he pulled one of his legs up to rest his heel on the edge of his perch, half mimicking the other man's pose. "Ah, then I will not bring the subject up again."
An odd look was directed at A'emi for his line of questioning. "Ah-huh." He shook his head slightly."What. Are you following my Dragon's social life now?" The Bluerider sighed and pointed a finger at the younger Rider. "Why do you think that he hasn't been chasing? As you said there has been a great many Greens rising recently, you can't have possibly tracked all of them." He perked an eyebrow. "I can break people, not Dragons. Especially not Castidenloth. He knows all my little tricks like he was the one to come up with them." A snort. "Anyway, we're too close, its not like I can stop him from chasing even if I wanted to." And he normally didn't. There was nothing wrong with winning a flight, or a good flightmoth now and again. T'was the way of life.

“Oh, baby, you know nobody can resist your charms,” A’emi replied, voice a flat monotone. Inwardly, he was amused, though. K’thay’s came with a sense of humor already equipped, who knew! The line of questioning about M’kai, though, earned a long, melodramatic sigh, A’emi flicking his fingers lazily at K’thay. “Don’t fret so, darling. M’kai’s merely passing entertainment, you knooow I’d never cheat on you~” He batted his eyelashes at the bluerider, the effect ruined mostly by the fact that K’thay seemed a little more intent on some pillow fluff than him. Tch.
As it happened, ‘passing entertainment’ had been going for quite a while, ever since Kyrahth’s Flight, and he had made progress. A’emi wasn’t usually bothered to stick around so long (quote attention span of a five Turn old unquote) but the challenge made it fun. In fact, part of the greenrider actually hoped M’kai never did admit to liking him, counterproductive though that was, because that would leave him utterly at a loss.
He shot a lazy grin at K’thay in response to the bluerider’s words, biting his tongue to keep from uttering an entirely inappropriate response. Skills? Oh, yes, skills…but yeah. Nausea was a good topic to get away from. A’emi pressed one hand lightly against his stomach, fingers probing cautiously for a moment. Both hands lifted at the finger pointed at him, though, A’emi flattening his palms out towards K’thay, the universal sign for I’m unarmed and innocent and absolutely could not hurt a fly if I tried to, and widened his eyes innocently.
“Following – what, no!” His lips curved downwards in a near-pout. “It’s just, Kyrahth likes to insult greens when they Rise, it’s like a hobby or something. She hasn’t started broadcasting yet but – yeah. So yeah, I generally do know when greens Rise and when there’s still a blue blob on your weyrledge, then yeah, I start to think Casti’s broken. No offense, of course.” A’emi flicked a glance towards the weyrledge, but it was brief. “Kyrahth’s probably going to Rise again soon,” he added, and winked playfully. “Word of warning, and all.”
As it happened, he was actually looking forward to the Flight – greens Rose multiple times per Turn and Kyrahth was no exception. And A’emi was sure Futh would be Chasing…and it helped greatly that he happened to influence Kyrahth a good deal, more than she did him. “I won’t be offended if you like, take off or something. Or well, I probably will be for Kyr, but not much. She can probably be offended for herself, y’know?”

"I feel so much better now that I have your assurances." He put down his finger when A'emi made what K'thay called 'a cutesy' face. Something that suited a child and not a full grown adult. "Nuh-uh. You don't make that face at me. You're about as innocent as a red-handed thief." The Bluerider looked down with a 'tch' as the other warbled through an explanation to his line of questioning. He should have known Kyrahth was the one behind tracking the Greens, insulting them definitely fit her personality. Snappy female is snappy that's for sure. Although he didn't wonder how Casti could coexist peacefully with Kyr the Blue having patience to deal with all sorts of personalities. He envied his Dragon. He'd even admit it if he was called out on it. Although maybe that was part of their connection, the ability to envy in a healthy way. Either way, he still saw things in Castidenloth that K'thay wished he himself could have. Maybe as they grew older together those things would gradually rub off on him.
"He says none taken." The older Rider crossed his arms and made a dismissive gesture with his fingers. "I don't know why he hasn't chosen to Chase. Maybe he's subconsciously having troubles adjusting here. He might not feel interested in any of the Greens here. It could even be the weather for all I know." A sigh. "He's feeling perfectly fine. I suppose he just hasn't felt like it or felt the need to. Neither of us can say for sure, and I don't think he really cares." It was the truth all he could discern was contentment, there was no concern. "Also, that blue blob nonsense. He's definitely not fat and therefore not a blob."
"Ah." From A'emi he looked out toward the Weyrledge. "Yes. Thank you for the warning." Would Casti chase? Maybe. As with all the other Greens it was a neutral answer, neither of them would know until it happened. The Blue was a puzzle when it came to chasing, a very unsolvable one. "I'm not going to leave." He offered A'emi a small, straight smile. "If he decides to chase her I'm not going to be angry. Running away with my tail between my legs just because there's a possibility of winning, isn't a thing I'd do. I don't feel attracted to men but there are male Greenriders and I ride a male Dragon. So whatever. If I wake up next to a guy, I'm not going to fuss over it." Closing his eyes K'thay turned his face away with a cheeky grin. "Although if I did ever wake up next to a brat like you, I probably might have to rethink my logic."

Oh, that.
That was just –
A’emi pulled the obligatory innocent face at K’thay’s words, widening his eyes to decently alarming proportions and actually fluttering his eyelashes at the bluerider, lips parting slightly and quirking up at the corners – the only hint of mischief in an otherwise perfectly innocent mask. “I absolutely have no idea what you could possibly mean,” he informed K’thay seriously, and did his best to change his broadcast from the previous I’m unarmed and innocent and absolutely could not hurt a fly if I tried to to Flies injure me on a regular basis, which was, in his opinion, considerably more pathetic.
Unfortunately, the whole ‘innocent’ thing prevented him from informing K’thay exactly what his opinions were on a lack of sex drive, man (hint, hint) or dragon. A’emi was fairly positive that innocent naïve people did not very bluntly tell older males that they seriously needed to get laid. At least, not on a regular basis. He was sure that when faced when K’thay’s, they could make an exception. However, being neither innocent nor naïve, he wasn’t sure. So it was probably better to just play it safe and not mention anything along those particular lines.
Instead, because it was just such an improvement, he pointed at K’thay and said, “Blob is very subjective.” The innocence wavered. Visibly. He batted a wink at the bluerider and added, playfully, “Fat is also pretty subjective, not naming any names buuuut…” But what? But nothing, of course. A’emi flashed an innocent (albeit a little empty – was it his fault that he classified ‘innocent’ under the same category as ‘stupid’?) smile at K’thay. He didn’t flutter his eyelashes that time, but it was a pretty close thing.
The whole innocent thing, though, absolutely did not work when they were directly discussing Flights.
It just did not click.
A’emi gave up while he was ahead, and focused on actually leering at K’thay. That grin demanded retribution. “Oh, baby, you’ve never woken up next to me before…you’d be begging for round two, I can guarantee it.” He winked, slow and suggestive, and then, because switching gears and flirting simultaneously came as easily as breathing, added cheerfully, “Of course, I’d demand dinner first and just for the record, I don’t put out first date. Unless it’s an extremely convincing date.”

"That is even worse." He prodded A'emi on the forehead. "Even if you try that with someone else, no one would believe your innocence." Not even your mother. Seeing how the Greenrider turned out, maybe it was more the case of 'especially not your mother.' Tapping his fingers in code on his knee, he subconsciously practiced signals by spelling out random words. Even if his fingers were moving his attention was still focused on the other man. A'emi wasn't the only one who liked to continuously move unless he was meditating, he just did it in a less annoying, less invading ways. "I suppose so but..." He paused and raised an eyebrow. "Buuuut~? I don't want to hear any of your comments, lest it throw my delicate and fragile self-image into a spiraling depression. Which makes me forgo food for a week just to look sexy in a bathing suit." K'thay sighed dramatically and looked to the sunlight filtering in, his voice almost monotonous sounding. "What with spring coming and all I don't know if I can take it." He itched the stubble on his cheek.
There was a drawn out silence before he seemed to gasp.
"Oh my. If I'm fat what about Mi'rah? He's certainly a bit more fluffy than I am..." A few moments passed before he snorted loudly and began to laugh. He really didn't care either way about what A'emi meant, his self body image was a good one and it was hard to shake his position on it. He itched the other side of his face. Stupid newly grown stubble.
"Pffft. Yeah. Sure." He simply met the leering eyes with his own. "Begging for more, just like how a hare begs to be caught in a hunting snare." The Bluerider flicked his gently tapping fingers in the equivalent to a lazy wave of a hand. "Don't need to waste your notices on me. I don't take records. Certainly not yours. But I'll be sure to pass on this vital piece of information onto M'kai." He shrugged. "I'm sure he'll be very interested. Maybe he won't get his hopes up for dinner and a show on the first date. Although you being that sweet, unassuming and innocent man that you are... I simply can't see how anyone would think for a show until the both of you are joined." His fingers stopped tapping so he could point flippantly at the Greenrider. "Your name is Ch'astity, isn't it?"

…do not flirt. Do not flirt. Do not flirt. Do not –
“Daaaarling, you look good in everything…and nothing.”
Too late. A’emi blinked playfully at K’thay, deciding not to comment on Mi’rah, if only because he only knew of the man was a Benden bronzerider (two very good reasons to hate him for daring to breathe the same general air as him). But, but, he excused himself for his definite bias, it was hardly fair to pass judgment on a man he didn’t know was it? Even if he really, sincerely hoped he never would know him? Sure. They’d go with that. In any case, A’emi didn’t usually eye up bronzeriders. They were basically useless, all things considered.
The greenrider’s grin broadened as K’thay went on, though, and he actually fluttered his eyelashes impishly, unable to help it. How nice of the bluerider! He knew that the whole comparison metaphor whatever thing wasn’t actually a compliment, but he certainly took it as such, if only because he was so not-vanilla that it wasn’t exactly a bad comparison at all. If only K’thay knew. Although, to be fair, unlike the rabbit trap scenario, he did generally make sure his…rabbit, as it were, got off. Manners, and all.
A’emi clasped his hands together, interlacing his fingers. “Would you? That would be so very kind of you, you have no idea! It’s been worrying me so much, you know~” The words were pitched deliberately high, mock-anxiety fairly quivering in his tone. He blinked, tilted his head to one side. “Of course, who else would I be?” he asked, and then raised one hand to indicate the space just above his head. “The horns are just there to hold up the halo, you know that, right?”
He didn’t wait for a reply before he rose from his seated position, twisting to face K’thay, knees braced against the ground, and kissed him, just shy of his mouth, a quick peck. A smile, A’emi not lingering as he rose entirely, sliding his fingers through K’thay’s hair in what was almost a petting motion, before he turned and promptly sprawled out on the bluerider’s couch, lying flat on his stomach. He tucked his feet under a cushion, wrapping his arms around another conveniently placed one and pillowing his head on top of it. “You don’t have to entertain me, you know, I think danger of dying dramatically and horribly has passed, so…”
One hand untangled itself from the cushion, A’emi flicking his fingers at K’thay in a playful dismissal, as if it was his weyr that they were occupying. “Go on, do blueriderly stuff or whatever, but don’t shave, huh?” He wasn’t oblivious, after all. “You look better with the…” A’emi made a vague gesture at his own jawline, burrowing into the couch, the last word coming out muffled into incoherence.
